Its ok, take a deep breath <3
I'm afraid we cannot do anything here on the forums, but you can submit a ticket to the Support Team here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000942011
And for more information on the Report System, you can view it all here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system#latest

I will concur and say Sloppy Butcher as well, I love it on him. But as musstang62 pointed out, you could try Thanataphobia with the Blind Warrior add-on for a round or two and see how you feel about that and if it fits your play style with him!
-
I am going to remind everyone in here to keep the discussion civil and respectful; its gotten out of hand a few times, and I know you can discuss this without resorting to insulting the commenter!
-
Honey Comb and the Montster Cereal trio. I loved when they brought Yummy Mummy and Frute Brute back for a year many Halloween seasons ago, I hope they can bring them back again soon!
-
The update to Small Game is very nice, but I still see Detective's Hunch as quite viable still. Its been invaluable to me in both solo and SWF matches. And yes, granted, perks like Small Game and Plunderer's Instinct are not reliant on a gen popping to give you information, but I personally don't mind the small caveat to DsH to get 3 for 1 (sometimes I do, and will switch my loadout accordingly lol)
-
Yes, this definitely a post for Feedback and Suggestions, because these are some very constructive suggestions that deserve to be looked at! I went ahead and moved it over (it will have a redirect link in General, its not "dead", as it were)

As others mentioned, Sony shut down the Communities feature last month. However, Playstation users can still use messaging functions on the console and Playstation app.
-
@Actionjacksn you're fine!
As others have mentioned, MMR is not active right now. It was tested recently for a 24 hour period, but no further information on it right now.
-
It is unintended. They are very much aware of the issue, and it will be taken care of.
-
There's already been a lot of great advice thus far, and if I may, add a bit myself. Not entirely perks or loadouts, but something that helped me immensely with Trapper, a killer that used to be my hands-down least favorite, and is now my go-to killer.
As survivors get better at higher ranks, you'll definitely have matches where you'll feel the pressure that you need to immediately chase them down as soon as you can move. My advise is don't be afraid to take a little time and set up, even go a little out of the way to pick a trap up or set it up somewhere (might even find a survivor while doing so!). Even if a gen pops while doing so, don't panic, these traps may very well be the difference in catching a survivor later on (can speak from experience both as killer and survivor on that one lol). The bag add-ons definitely help you get more used to this, and after a while you may be comfortable running a loadout without them as well!

I can see a few heated posts in here, so I just want to remind everyone to keep it civil. You can make your points while still being respectful to others here when discussing the subject.
-
It got a bit heated in here, and I know SWF is a heated topic, so I just wanted to drop in and just ask that you guys please remember to keep your comments here civil and respectful towards each other and their opinions.

I once had an Oni match along with a friend on Temple of Purgation. Halfway through the match he downed me with his power, and I was a bit cranky about it so didn't struggle, just a "yeah hook me its fine", and I actually got up to grab some water...found out he had Mad Grit and when I got back he was mad gritting with me all across the map. My friend dropped a pallet on him and the match resumed.
Fast forward to the end, the other two survivors left, and my friend and I remained behind (the Oni was a good sport, we were happy to give him sacrifice points). Just before EGC ended, he powered up, let out a roar...and dc'd. We were both shocked we wanted to give him points it was such a fun round!
He typed in end game (slightly paraphrasing as it was a while ago): "Thank you. My soul is finally at peace. I can now rest with the ancestors."
We were both just dying of laughter, we were not expecting that kind of sheer poetry lol

Closing up the post as it has become argumentative. Please remember to remain respectful when discussing ideas and point of views on the forum.
-
Going to close this as its sliding more and more into streamer shaming. Please remain civil and respectful when talking about others, including those that wish to stream the game.

It is a current known bug to the perk, Breakdown, there is an acknowledged report on it.
This is not reportable as an exploit, however. We ask that you please do not report players for using the perk.
-
Please keep the comments civil and respectful; you can have a difference in opinion without the name calling.

They are black! Under the Cosplay Guides, there's one for the Trickster (bottom of the page) that shows this blades with black handles in all their glory, as well as a breakdown of his bat and clothes.

I'm glad your sweet pup is doing alright!
IRL emergencies can and do happen. They have happened to me mid-game several times; from an elderly family member suddenly feeling ill and needing a trip to the hospital, to my senior cat (now passed) that was throwing up after medicine and sounded to be in pain. Whether you're playing a video game or in the middle of something else, emergencies are emergencies, and come first.
(And of course just a little reminder to be civil when talking about others on the forum)
-
Please keep the thread on topic, and keep the comments civil and respectful. NOED is a heated topic, but you can still be respectful to those who disagree with you, and not resort to belittling others and their opinions while discussing it.
-
Closing this thread. Please remember to keep your discussions respectful and civil, as well as thoughts on other players.

-
I think its time to close this conversation up; its getting a bit too close to streamer shaming.
-
I am going to go ahead and close this thread, as its turning argumentative. And just a reminder that this is not bannable, please not report players for it. Your concerns are understandable and heard, and feedback will be forwarded onto the appropriate parties.

When a survivor does this, they more often than not go in with the knowledge it will likely result in being focused on by the killer, which is their goal/tactic to allow the map to have little or no pressure on the rest of the team to do gens, break totems, etc. The Killer's choice, ultimately, is to make the decision of whether or not to engage. I personally ignore them, and I have been in matches with killers that went for me or others over teammate(s) doing this, but I admit having a split second thought of wanting to accept the challenge.
-
This discussion went off topic pretty quick, as well as a some less than civil behavior towards one another. As such, I am going to close this conversation.
-
I know a lot of people have been saying it as well, but I am rather fond of Whispers on her (a lot of my killers really, if I'm being honest).
I'm All Ears was suggested earlier as well, but I've had it come in handy against really good players that were great at unpredictable movements when out of line of sight.
I ran Iron Maiden for a while on her...its a smidge predictable on Huntress (and as you said, not your cup of tea, which is understandable), but honestly it got some fair use...so its an honorable mention from me
And either Discordance or Surveillance aren't bad options to try out; a lot of good perks have been mentioned on this thread, its all a matter of what fits your playstyle!
-
I am going to go ahead and close this thread, as the OP's question has been answered. It is an acknowledged bug, but it is not reportable as an exploit; please do not report players for running it.

The majority of my killer matches of late have been with Blight, and he can be frustrating to learn at times (a lot of sailing right past survivors sometimes), but he's a lot of fun, especially once you start getting a better feel of him! As far as playing against him, its been a rare sight for me, one killer I especially remember I'm pretty sure was learning Blight themselves, as they rarely used their power during the match.
But I honestly think he's been one of the most fun killers for me in the roster.
-
I believe its primarily the Certification processes for them. It's not possible to have a PTB the same way on consoles (or even the MS Store on PC) as it is on Steam, which is why it's only the Steam platform that has the PTB. And with Steam, changes can be made to update the PTB if needed (which is not the same for other platforms), and its very necessary to have that ability on PTB.
I myself have friends that are not on Steam that would love to try out PTB as well, but the PTB is only available on Steam.

Until the game understands the difference between different actions (IE Being forced to 'farm' a hook because killer was camping vs simply farming because you have BT) you will keep seeing these type of differences in opinions.
Many times I have been forced to save a teammate reaching struggle because the killer chose to camp them and I had no choice.
Understandable, I am seeing very honest and diverse opinions, and constructive discussion and ideas being discussed about the change as well. And, I can agree I have had times I have had to make risky rescues myself. I'm looking forward to when the PTB goes live to see more in regards to it, and the other changes, put in action.
-
I personally like the change to BT, but I can understand the concerns being brought up as well. I feel the PTB will give a lot of insight and feedback to how the changes work in many different scenarios.
-
Going to go ahead and close this thread, its becoming combative, and back and forth, at this point.

A few years ago, I once was ferociously accused of cheating. The survivor swore up and down there was no way I (Wraith) could have found them in the locker in a room on Lery's... I had Bloodhound and the blood trail led directly to the locker.

@Pet_The_Lizards is correct

The OP says quite clearly that no one escaped. If key usage forces user to jump in, there would be at least one survivor, who escaped.
That is correct, my mistake on that, thank you.
It may potentially be a bug @Ayashia you can submit to the bug report section (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs). Check to see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

The hatch opened with 2 people alive and 2 gens remaining. No one escaped so it can't been a key. Is it a bug?
It sounds like one of the survivors found a Dull Key or Skeleton Key in a chest somewhere on the map, and then both located the hatch and escaped. The hatch spawns when more generators are done than there are survivors alive, which in this case, 3 gens done and 2 survivors remaining, would be correct. The key would force the survivor using it to jump through, but the hatch would have been left open for the last survivor to jump in behind them.
But from the sound of it, maybe they opened it up and ignored it. The Key keeps the hatch open for 30 seconds.

Always nice to see new mods around, welcome to the forums Washu!
And also its a pig so yeah we keep him
Much appreciated, thank you.
And I saw the edit made to the post, I didn't see the chicken originally, either! I am quite enjoying this announcement today.

Maurice absolutely deserves to have all the friends!
-
@QwQw As a fan of Evil Dead, I can appreciate that (and, in a way, isn't getting to be Ash a perk itself?)
As for me... My survivor would be Tapp (For Tenacity and Detective's Hunch), with a side Plunderer's Instinct and Kindred thrown in (a very close 2nd place is Jane for Head On... and overall style)
My Killer, after some consideration, because this one is a tough one for me...I'm honestly going have to say Trapper. Brutal Strength is the primary reason, but I like Agitation (and Unnerving can be good as well!), and I'd Fill out the rest of the kit with Whispers, Hex: Trhill of the Hunt, and maybe also Sloppy Butcher.

In the case of a survivor and killer getting to the hatch at the same time when its the only means of escape (i.e. Hatch Standoff), what will occur if closing the hatch is the means to trigger End Game Collapse? Will the killer have priority to close it, or if a survivor goes inactive on the hatch (3 crows), could that also cause the EGC to start?
