@powerbats we are still waiting for you to give us ONE match we can discuss. Why is it so hard to for you do that? Maybe there is none?
-
I noticed you talk a lot bullshit. Can you proof your point this time or is it again some bullshit coming out of your head?powerbats said:@DwightsLifeMatters said:

There fixed that for you.

You act as if the game was completely different 10 months ago. What did change exactly? Healing nerf? Some less pallets and infinites? What else? Tinkerer got trashed?powerbats said:@Maximus7 said:
Like don't get me wrong, Umbra is damn good, but I've gen rushed her in a duo queue before. Granted, Huntress on Ormond sucks, but she, Marth, and Scott have all been gen rushed. And they've all 4k'd in less than 3-4 minutes.Hell, if you want a good example, ScottJund (while tryharding) barely pipped against Depip squad without perks. If it takes a killer of that caliber to pip against a good perkless survivor squad, there is a goddamn problem.
Ok but that's well over a year old and the games changed massively since then so people need to stop using that as an example. Also @ScottJund has already commented on that video.
If the depip squad played again perkless the result would be pretty much the same.
There are enough examples with perks and addons aswell, these are just the recent one. Perks on Nurse barely change anything on how fast the gens get donepowerbats said:@Nickenzie said:
Referring back to Tru3ta1ent's video, he was playing Nurse to his best ability and the survivors was also playing to their best ability. Usually in most scenarios, these types of games should be a close call since it's an even match up. However, Tru3ta1ent's video was the complete opposite, he was helpless as he couldn't prevent generators from going off despite being as skilled as the survivors. When this happens, something is definitely wrong and a change is necessary due to the fact it wasn't a close call, it was complete domination.
He was playing perkless and addonless Nurseso that negates your argument right there, if he was running a normal 2 blink build and normal addons he wouldn't have struggled versus good players.
All you people using his perkless/addonless challenge videos need to just stop because it's making you look foolish since he's not a good example to use.
I mean look at @Maximus7 who used addons and played to their utmost and granted the survivors made plenty of mistakes but even so he wouldn't have gotten smashed the way Tru did.
-
Oh yeah I like it. This would sound really terrifying during a chase. I personally think we need overall new chase musics, it's getting really repetive if you played since release.
-

Oh, and don't forget the snow making tracking scratchmarks even harder. Yeah, overall probably the worst designed map.Condorloco_26 said:@DwightsLifeMatters said:
Oh yeah this aswell. Someone tried to hit midrange hatchets on the new map? Unless the survivors have only 1 brain cell it's nearly impossible to hit them, so many objects they can turn to cover
Coupled with the framerate, that map is terrible to play on too. Not only with Huntress, though...
-
Nurse is only "op" if you try to play against her like against freddy. She has counterplay but noone wants to do it. Or they don't know cuz they keep DC'ing and never had a chance to learn it.xChrisx said:They did the right choice because she's broken, and a nerf can come only if everyone disconnect.
Against a nurse i dont dc because in dont want a ban ofc but i let me die on the hook as fast possible for move into the next game. -
He needs a rework and not a buff. Same with Legion. They are just not good designed Killer.
-
Oh man the I saw the live stream and they actually made jokes about themselves that it took so long with hiding the killer perks. I was sitting there with my mouth open "######### are you seriously laughing about that?"Delfador said:@DwightsLifeMatters said:
Yep, it would be the easiest and next logical step after improving hiding spots. I mean, it's not that much coding to add a requirement like NOED has for all other hex totems. But from my experience that's not gonna happen soon
IKR?
There have been great ideas to balance the game, to make the game less frustrating and more fun, to solve a couple of broken mechanics and all of them are forgotten right now.
I kinda understand it, what we are discussing here doesn't mean much. With all honesty, most people waste their time with these suggestions that will never take place in the game(I am not saying that they should stop though). Survivors not being able to see killers' perks after they die came after 3 years.
Devs are not to be blamed though. We did this. People are even against DC BBQ stacks or buffing WGLF, imagine whining and bitching if they tried radical changes that would actually impact the gameplay.
You are referring to this https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/41728/dc-bbq-wglf-stack#latest right? Yeah, some people in this community are... Lets call them special.

Yeah, if they stand at the exit it is obvious. But some are hiding holding hostages and this needs a fixDehitay said:I'm amazed at how many people still haven't figured out how to get survivors to leave once the gates are open. You would think it would be brain dead obvious.

Cuz fixing the endgame mechanic doesn't bring money in. Especially because it's a problem for killers and in theory it's "just" 20% of the playerbase

From: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/41397/hex-huntress-lullaby-suggestion#latest
Yeah, either that or Lullaby and Devour Hope shouldn’t become hex totems until you get your first token for it.
The idea of all perks only becoming active the moment they have taken minimal effect just like NOED would fix many of the Hex Totem problems, especially those with tokens.
If perks like Hex Ruin would only become active and bound to a dull totem on the moment of the first skill-check appearing, then the entire LOS fix wouldn't have been needed and people couldn't run into a Hex totem right after.

Finally this event farming won't help anyone and everyone has to tryhard. I like it. -

And who are you to tell them what they should and should not do?Nickenzie said:I'll only dodge if a real life event comes up (since I won't be able to finish the game that I've started) and high ping lobbies (I really hate P2P connection). I won't dodge for any other reason, others should do the same.
I also don't dodge but I don't feel the need to force people to play the way I want.
Because there is no other reason to dodge a lobby and I never told people "how to play". I only said that you should only dodge in these scenarios (and that's why I said, "Others should do the same") because these are legitimate reasons to dodge while others just dodge for the stupidest reasons.
It's ridiculous with how many people dodge for the most stupidest reasons in my opinion:
2 Flashlights? Dodge.
3+ Toolboxes and afraid of BNP? Dodge.
3+ Med-Kits and afraid of Instaheal? Dodge.
3+ P3 Claudettes or Legacy survivors? Dodge.
Someone has a key? Crap! Dodge.
If you see this, instead of dodging (not staying you are dodging, just a PSA for everyone) then use YOUR items. Bring in your add-ons or offerings to balance things out, they are there for a reason, namely, strength!
Lastly, why is dodging a problem?
You may not think dodging is a problem but if you waited 10 minutes to get a game just to get sent back to the lobby and wait another 10 minutes. That's 20 minutes just to find a game, that's double than you normally had to wait. Usually dodging isn't a problem for fast game times but it's devastating for the people who have long wait times.
Anyways, as long as they have bought this game, it's not up to me or anyone else to tell them whether or not they should dodge which lobby.
I can't say it isn't annoying, because it really is, but when someone doesn't feel like going against some of those scenarios, they are free to dodge.
Have a nice day/night.

Oh man thanks that you said it. I thought I'm going mental lol. Its also not only in the beginning, it happens sometimes during the match
-
I don't want to stomp your hope, but keep your expectations low. We are still waiting for nurse non blink area fixes, billy ghost-hits fixes etc. Even if it sounds easy to just add some lockers, THE GAME map is longer available and still has the issue of lacking lockers on 2 second floorCondorloco_26 said:Let's hope we get more Huntress players' support on this.

Yes, but I just give up instead of doing the stealthy boring 1v1 endgame.
And by give up I mean: doing load noises and get chased as long as possible for some fun and points. All pallets are up, so it's going to be a loooong chase -
People are egoistic. Do you seriously think that anyone would play till the end and DC's then without getting any points for 40+ pips or so? Absolutly bullshit and unrealistic. People should just not derank in the first place and devs should give them motivation not to do so.XavierBoah17 said:The people who DC to get to lower ranks should instead play the game and do what you can for the survivors, then DC when you at least did some gens or bought some time. Chase music is still pretty load for killers imo. I can hear grass moving etc but during the chase I feel completely deaf

Yep, absolutly agree. Especially because huntress is slow af and the map huge

There's several there all from one stream and unlike you I don't cherry pick, but again you'll just say the survivors were potatoes like always. I could post videos of Marth playing on a smurf and destroying people and you'd use the same excuses.

Its probably an easter egg. I remember a dev saying that one of the dbd team always uses toolboxes. So it could be the reason to signature him on maps

Good breaking down, nothing to add here but that this tactic used by good survivors is 100% a lose for the killer. Even nurse will struggle with that, especially on certain maps.OGlilSPOOK20 said:
2 of them brought toolboxes and 3 have ds and unbreakable. Their plan was pretty much run the killer around as much as possible and even when the killer does catch them they're just gonna use ds and get away and they're trying to scare the killer by not picking them up because of ds so they can use unbreakable so no one has to leave gens because they can all pretty much take care of themselves. With 3 people below 10k points it just shows they absolutly suck. Crutch perks are fine when potatoes use it. It becomes a problem when good players use it. At least it works for me if I play killer and if I play survivor.Oh it works again? I actually liked that they Implemented this feature and would like to have it for pre game lobby as well.. It would get rid of hate comments on your profile after you beat a swf group with all flashlights and ds :chuffed: (don't wanna set my profile to private or no comments cuz i also play other games)
Devs should work on a game exclusive friendslist, so you can add people to your dbd friendslist which has nothing to do with your steam friendslist.
Some survivors were so toxic that I remembered their salt message and whenever I take a look into my profile I get a huge laugh reading them again.
But I can totally see if you don't like salt messages at all, not every person is the same. -

Exactly. The issue of WGFF is that you fight about the tokens with your mates which leads to hook rushing and unsafe unhooks.Delfador said:@EntityDispleased said:
It is reportable. I believe it falls under the troll face category (forgot the name) which counts it as griefing.
It really isn't. While this is bad gameplay, it really isn't considered as griefing or anything reportable. Devs will most probably take no action against those who farm people.
WGLF is just a badly designed perk. Survivors do anything to get the tokens and it fcks up the game really badly.
Healing tokens should be a thing and when you rescue someone, you should get 2 tokens if it is a safe unhook. If it is not, no token should be granted.
That is the only way to change the current situation but it is still gonna be bad, slightly less than now though.
WGFF needs more ways to stack up besides unhooking and bodyblocking. Imo picking someone up from dying state could be a away. Or tanking a hit from an injured mate who was getting chased. With more ways to gain the tokens survivors feel less pressured to do unhooks. -
BBQ is just a strong meta perk and is the extreme example. Same goes with ruin, pretty sure it appears like 4 times or so in total? And hag was the second paid dlcMilord said:I think people focus to much on the bbq here. The more interesting finding is that in every single period we see less paid perk compared to free perk than what's expected. Mate, I'm not here to convince you about anything. If you want to believe that the shrine is absolutly legit, hey that's completely fine you can believe what you want Idc.Orion said:@DwightsLifeMatters said:
You don't know if it's random or not. BHVR has the ultimate knowledge behind the shrine system. We are just assuming things and it's more than suspicious that especially the perk BBQ, the number 1 selling point for buying Leatherface doesn't appear. Many other perks have also never appeared. You're reading into this one and ignoring all the rest because of confirmation bias.
Coincidences can and do happen, from time to time.@DwightsLifeMatters said:
If the shrine wouldn't exist we had a clear and obvious pay2win game. And hopefully you are aware that pay2win mechanics in games are for me and many others reason number 1 not to buy the game in the first place. With the shrine we have a less obvious pay2win mechanic aka "just wait till it appears" but in reality you can wait till you die so you give up and buy the DLC to get access to the perks you need.
Smart move from bhvr business perspective, but absolutely disgusting from a customers perspective.Like all conspiracy theories, this hinges on the presumption that the devs are simultaneously clever enough to create the Shrine without any bugs involving probability, despite the fact that we've seen them screw up rarities in Bloodwebs, but also incompetent enough to disregard the fact that a compiled list of data could show they're trying to shaft us.
You're right. It's much less likely that this is just the end result of a truly random system. Do you and OP also believe that the lottery is rigged in such a way that you two never win the grand prize?
I'm personally just very surprised that you r so convinced that the shrine is legit as if you personally designed and coded the shrine by yourself. That's it. Just try not to be that naive so you walk around a little blind thinking that business is in favour for the customer that's it.
I could be wrong, you could be wrong. We will never know. But at least I'm not saying that the shrine is 100% rigged and it's the ultimate truth. I'm aware what RNG is and that this really could be RNG. But as I said, how I'm watching the shrine since it got released I have the tendency to believe it's rigged -
3 gens are nearly always getting done after the first 1-3 chases. With a key and 1-2 dead survivors you get the early crutch escape. Not with all, but with 2-3 Survivors. That's the issue here. Idc if all 4 escape with the hatch cuz if the gates are open it's over anyway. But escaping with gens up? what can you do against this as killer? I'm already dodging every lobby with a key and now I have to be prepared and sweat my ass off to kill them before 3 gens pop instead of 5? While it's already really hardcore to kill 3 Survivors with any other Killer than Nurse, billy, spirit? Ridiculous don't you think so?Peanits said:To be fair, in order for the entire team to leave early, they have to power all five generators. At that point they're just saving themselves ~20 seconds from opening the gates, but they'd likely spend far more time looking for a silent closed hatch and trying to lead the rest of the survivors to it.
But with that said, I'm totally down for a key/mori/ultra rare nerf. I'd rather the winner be determined by skill instead of who brought the biggest guns. -
What do you mean with "shouldn't" the devs never said it should or shouldn't be possible. As long as gen, totem and exit gates are can be memorised by survivors I don't see why spawns shouldn't. Just run next time and split up. Is it that difficult?Maj33y said:@DwightsLifeMatters said:
Knowing survivor spawns as Killer is part of beeing able to combat coordinated SWF groups. Time efficiency is important.Killer shouldn't be able to memorize survivor spawn Spots .. it has to be Randomised .. it's basically giving the killer a tip of an advantage esp when the game Spawns not only one but several Survivors in a horrible spot.
The Devs really need to take a look into this .
I know there are far more important issues than this like Game Bugs , game crashing errors , Matchmaking stuff ..
But this is an important part of balancing the game as well .
I play both Survivor and Killer Equally and some maps are just way too easy for killer than others and it is guaranteed someone should be in that spot and they wouldn't be able to make it far if i get there in time .
Like The Groaning Store House Map .
Survivors always Spawn by the tower or behind the shack and there's no way you could get out of that spot without being caught .. someone has to .. you can go and test it in KYF .. the Spawns are So horrible .
I just don't get it .. What's the point of binding offerings if the game is going to throw 2-3 Survivors together anyways .
The more survivors there are the better and Way easier for killer .. there is no challenge at all.
And the devs seem to be too biased .. Buffing killer perks . Nerfing Survivor perks and on top of that the horrible spawns .
-
My first thought was:
Well, if the killer performed bad, got genrushed, looped, just got bullied or whatever he will simply dc if the gates got powered to pay back.
Weird design decision, don't know what to think about that. -
Can you link one of those videos of the guy called umbra who destroyed survivors who don't do big mistakes? I'm really curious lolpowerbats said:@Nickenzie said:
powerbats said:@Nickenzie said:
If a killer is able to end a game in 2 minutes then something is definitely wrong for the survivor side. I'll admit that every two minute game I had as a killer was solely due to the fact that the survivors were just too greedy, not because of my skill. You see this a lot by survivors rushing the hook while you devour the entire team by downing every victim who attempts to unhook in your face. About the cherry picking: Yes, I understand that not EVERY game is 4 minutes and usually games last a good 10 minutes from my typical killer games. However, seeing that the survivor role have the power to end the game practically instantly is just ridiculous honestly speaking. This needs addressing.
That's not always true as I said Umbra is just that good and even when she used yellow addons she's so good she can wreck in 2 minutes and under 4 quite often.
Then the survivors are just bad, period. Yes, it takes skill on the killer's side to land ridiculous hatchets and predict mindgames but the survivors will have to give the Huntress that opportunity to do so. They probably wasn't stealthy, and they didn't know how to face the Huntress which led to their demise. It's just like Nurse, you'll get destroyed if you don't know how to play around her. If all survivors don't know how to play around her then yes, I can see a Nurse destroy the entire survivor team within 4 minutes. You see where I'm coming from?
If you haven't watched her then don't go saying the survivors were bad because that's the worst and laziest excuse on here. As I've said before it's always the survivors were bad and not the killer was good but if the killer does bad it's the survivors are op nerf.
-
In theory if the killer DC's it counts as an escape. Yet, during the event it doesn't matter and you don't get vessel. So it's a valid question cuz the devs are not consistent with that. Just in case you tried to be sarcastic..Bravo0413 said:The rule is-------> survivors must escape with the vessel in order to get what the vessel gives.............. Geee!
