Than you dont know how to scare them at all. If you know theres a CoH its an easy target, cause they always fall back towards it.
Yeah say that when 3-4 of them are running the perk, and have multiples around the map.

remove lockers.
All the tombstone Mikeys out there support this.

Happy days. Happy, Happy days.

COH just got a fat nerf. Jump scare Mikey just got back in the game 🙂

No it just made the already know issue worse
How can they be made worse than they already are? It just concentrated them in the high MMR bracket. But the issues themselves stayed the same.

Not really. They will get a 2k at most, but the survivors usually just end up escaping.
That's what I suspected. Thanks for the feedback. Appreciate it.

Thank god for that.

Eh, he might just be a popular pick for his 2 add ons for most people, I understand he's your main, but I don't think most people would choose him over something like spirit or Bubba
Apparently they are. As well as Trapper, Wraith, Doc, Huntress etc over those two. Players don't usually play whom they find strongest. Its about what they find fun.

The sbmmr just showed the issues to a broader audience. Which then gave the sbmmr the fault how the game suddenly feels.
The audience was always aware of the issues. They've just been concentrated now at high MMR.

Scratched mirror is a meme build with plenty of counters. That's why it's map dependant. It's meant for fun not for sweating a win like Alchemist ring Blight or something.

Interesting, I have only seen like 3 Myers this entire year so far.
I think I have gone against more Twins players than Myers.
You must have the majority of that 1.15% Twins players in your region 😉
-
Pig/Amanda is in her 20's I believe. Laurie, Steve, Nancy, and Quentin are all teenagers.

I think he has potential to be a good killer. Just like you said, he wastes so much time for basically nothing.
if you think about it he can counter 2 survivor meta perks,DH and COH. With the right buffs, he has a chance to be a popular pick again.
He is a popular pick already.

The Michael's that I've went against bring Infinite Tier 3 more often than not. I rarely see Tombstone Piece/Judith's Tombstone though.
Same question for you. Do they usually win when they bring the perma tier 3 add on?
-
Wasn't that how the old system worked? You were matched based on your rank. You can't rank up unless you pip. You can't pip unless you're actually doing stuff in the match.
It wasn't perfect but it was ten times better than the current SBMM method of kills and escapes.
-
The game has always been unbalanced though. That's nothing new. SBMM has just cranked it up ten fold.
-
@Pepsidot said:
I don't play against Myers often but when I do it's not uncommon for them to be using Tombstone piece with J. Myers Memorial addon (faster stalk). Permanent tier 3 and Judith's tombstone or both combined is rare though.
Ok you're the first person to respond who says it's not uncommon for you to see tombstone piece. But do they usually win when you do get them?
-
You know it's funny most killers I face have no issue tunneling Laurie players or any survivors. They are perfectly happy to risk a DS.
-
Day one test was a lot more chill for me. Most chill games I've had in a while. Day two and three were back to the meta sweat fests.
-
@Kurri said:
I tend to see tombstone Michaels always has trouble getting any kills or even tier 3 once before all the gens are done.
The Michaels I see winning are the ones running Memorial, and Rabbit.

Outdated stats, and unreliable since it doesn't take into account MMR brackets, or time played. BHVR purposely releases stats that should be taken at face value rather than concrete evidence. The goal is to give you a better idea and understanding of something, rather than saying "this is how it is".
How are they outdated stats? It's only two months old. Has the killer popularity dramatically shifted since January?
And yes I agree those are the types of builds I tend to see Mikeys winning with too. I use dead rabbit all the time myself. It's so good.

Weird, then I guess he hates me because it's been months since I faced him
It could be a regional thing. For example I see a lot of people say they never face Oni but I see him fairly regularly.
-
@tippy2k2 said:
I don't remember the last time I even went up against The Shape but the last time did have tombstone. It honestly wouldn't shock me if that skewed the numbers. People rarely play him so when they do, they use his super powerful ish. I imagine there are very very very few Mikey Mains out there just because base kit Myers is pretty bad...
He's got one of the best pick rates in the game. So it's not a case of being rarely played.
-
@DrDeepwound said:
Rarely see Mikeys, after they nerfed stalk distance, and especially back in the days when they changed multi-target stalking, the only people who play him are fans of him
That's not what I asked. I am asking if the Mikeys you do face usually run either of those add ons and win with them.
-
@Tiufal said:
Cause you get sooo often someone with Shadowstep, right? I dont even know the last time i saw a survivor with shadowstep.
Not talking about shadowstep. It's circle of healing. Scratched mirror relies on surprise attacks. It's a jump scare build not a chaser build. That's why it's called jump scare Myers.
The fact boons now allow survivors constant free and quick healing ruined it.
-
Survivors are just skins. There's no perk build that works more effectively on her than it would on any other survivor.
-
Trickster and his knife spam.
Legion and the mending simulator.
Ghostface and the wonky reveal mechanic.
-
All the best, not Queen.
-
It wouldn't make much a difference anyway. Most totem spawns are bad. Over half of them are next to gens.
-
As a Mikey main I agree. I haven't done scratched mirror nearly as much as I used to because of the damn boons.

Agreed. He is carried by his 2 strong add-ons. Infinite Tier 3 and Tombstone piece. Tombstone piece is the ONLY thing he has going for him at this point.
Oni, Twins and Bubba slug better
and He is definitely going to be overshadowed by Ghostface with his upcoming changes.
It's got nothing to do with those add ons. If his high kill stats were carried by those there would be an outcry of tombstone piece epidemics on a weekly basis.
Ghostface's upcoming changes aren't going to be anything significant. Increasing marked duration by 15 seconds won't make any difference to players who can outrun it for the standard 45. Nor will being unable to reveal him when marked because what's the point when you're already marked. All that's good for is saving your deviousness points.

Now that Stranger Things is gone, I wanted to answer this question.
Id bring back Stranger Things. We already have a clown killer, and Steve and Nancy are awesome survivors
Doesn't matter if we already have a clown killer. We have two chainsaw killers. We have two stalking stealth killers in white masks. We can have another clown killer.
-
Boring gameplay, bad add ons, and not a single cosmetic to his name.
Freddy really is less than desirable right now.

Actually i didn´t put much thought into the build. Just had to complete the challenge to hit survivors while undetectable with Tinkerer. So i switched the first thing out of it for Tinkerer and slapped the mirror on.
Fair enough. Props for getting a 3k with no pwyf. Not even boyfriend's memo add on to extend the small tier 1 lunge a bit.
-
Biggest get out of jail free card in the game.

Probably vanity mirror, usually scratch has PWYF due to the slow speed while vanity dont need it
I can see the add on. That's scratched mirror.

You put Monitor on scratched mirror?

Love Dweets of course. Aces, Leons, and Tapps are usually solid as well.
Hate Neas, Steves, and brightly dressed Claudettes as they're usually toxic.
Mikaelas are usually useless. Typically spend half the match relighting boons. Megs are almost guaranteed to be potatoes.
-
Mikey is not the worst killer in the game. He's not even bottom three.
-
It will be effective against potatoes. Which is the only way Legion is effective anyway.
-
Certain maps definitely need a reduction in pallets. The Game, Cowshed, Groaning Storehouse, Badham to name a few. They also need to reduce some of the map sizes like Red Forest and Eyrie of Crows.
-
In a game where sounds are important no I don't. Especially when playing killer.

Does hemmorage remove heal progress?
Yes. You have to fully heal otherwise it regresses.

@Crowman said:
Seems the only change to detection is that the marked survivor can no longer reveal him.
Which is nice since it helps prevent getting broken out before you get the hit in for the deviousness score. But not really going to change much about how you play Ghostface.
Yeah I was going to say the same. Revealing him after he's marked you is pointless since it doesn't help you. So I guess they did this strictly for the points.
-
Haddonfield rework is the best part of the update. Visually it looks terrific and they said they've also reworked the gameplay design of it which hopefully means its more balanced now.
-
Always has been. Makes facing him miserable.

I gotta say, something feels better. I can't quite put my finger on it, but matches just feel good and not sweaty as much as prior. Whatever they've done feels better.
That's encouraging to hear.

I get these types all the time when I play survivor. But when I play killer I have to pry the gens out of their cold dead hands.

The origin of my forum name will be an eternal mystery to everyone.
