Well, Victor is not much fun as Survivor.
I know some people advocate for Chucky... I really can't go through hundreds of matches of that, I just can't.
@Phasmamain said:
If we’re talking very short like Victor height then no because it makes them very hard to track on certain maps
No. Just normal human sizes like Pig/Ghostface/Legion

So, I don't consider Pyramid Head stronger than the Entity, but instead of an accident parasite. Same goes for Myers.
The Entity saw these two and thought they would be P E R F E C T as servants, but instead got two incredibly potent wild cards that's starving it and nothing it can do is helping. Buuutttt, sometimes it helps feed it, but other times it causes them to starve it sometimes

They could look interesting, but the fact they're licensed makes it an uncertainty.
That said, Ghost Face got a serum skin so who knows.
That is true, but really only the mask is licensed, but you do have a point
-
They could always inspire them off that short horror story of a kindergarten teacher who poisoned her students around some holiday so that they don't grow up, since kids who grow up become corrupted and lose their sweet kind personality.

Teaser trailer at the end of this week or the beginning on next week. Why I say this is because it's calculated with a schedule cruncher that my friends and I came up with.
But, it isn't 100% accurate. So if I'm wrong, I'm sorry.

I'm glad these things can be seen from the killers view!
I play both sides, so I know frustrating it can be.
Plus, it feels satisfying for the poor survivor watching them get their revenge in the hands of someone else
-
I'd say don't focus too hard on a survivor, keep a mental note of how long you're chasing a survivor, if it feels like you're about to reach a minute, then just dip. Find someone else.
Also, don't always go for hooks, if you down a survivor and you feel as someone is near by, just leave them on the ground and try to down them. Chances are someone will get the other person up, BUT that's three people not doing gens
-
I always let the sold out survivors get a chance to escape, maybe I'll down them, but I always go after the person trying to kill their team mates

Be careful using your chainsaw while around tight obstacles, because if you collide with something you'll lose your chase, the more tokens you consume the longer your tantrum lasts.
Windows are a risk, if you're already running with your saw, you can try to clip them at a window, but if you are revving than don't bother, you're better off just trying to smack them with your hammer.
If they drop the pallet, just kick unless you're half way charged with your saw, anything less it'd be quicker to kick.
Don't be afraid to chase multiple survivors with one charge, people tend to panic with a raging Bubba. Plus, you could managed to down a couple of survivors.
If you need more just quote my text and tell me what's up. I used to main Bubba HARD before and after his rework

In the end Candyman destroys Helen's loved ones and Helen becomes a Candyman-style myth. The truth is that I liked the movie but I still believe, That Candyman is similar to Freddy and more brutal than him or maybe both are.
Yup, it's awesome. I'm hoping Helen will be q legendary skin for Candyman.
I'm just hoping they'll be the upcoming killer

I did not finish seeing it complete, I stayed in the part where Candyman says to Helen "we must die !!" and where she saves the baby and Candyman dies.
I know I'm a stranger to you, but I beg you to finish watching after that :)

Candyman is more brutal killer than Freddy and Helen I doubt that she could become a survivor, it reminds me of Nightmare on Elm Street 2 when Freddy controls Jessie, Here Candyman makes Helen see a killer and a crazy woman, the truth made me sad when hands the baby to the mother. If it is a good adaptation to the slasher genre and at the same time mysterious.
Wait.. did... you miss the secret ending towards the end? Or did I misread what you said by accident? It's been a long day

Crazy, right? Haha

I'd give him an add-on pass, but that's about it. I don't think he needs to be changed.
Also, I feel like most people here are taking "rework" as "nerf". Then again, I guess Behavior "reworked" Billy, too.
I know, it kinda can get stressful

@Miles said:
Dont give him a lullaby, what the hell. He is fine as he is, give a small 0,75 second cooldown for ads si he doesnt just spam it, add on pass and maybe increase reload speed after a succesful reel in hit.
Im more worried about trickster.
He is ranged, hence why a decent amount say that. I like him too, I think he's fine. I was just more or less curious as to why people suggest these ideas.
By the by, the suggestions in my post aren't mine, those are stuff I read.
-
They probably will when they get the chance to read it
-
You know Pyramid Head's final judgment mori? I think he should do that animation for breaking pallets as well, another character with a miss opportunity.
But, yeah. I think Trickster should use bat for pallets
I know he looks goofy and whacky, but he genuinely looks amazing when he just goes insane on a gen with his bat
-
That'd be interesting

@Gruul said:
I don't think candyman is as likely as people think, remember the roadmaps for behavior are planned way in advance and the candyman movie was rescheduled several times so it was kinda unclear for a while when exactly it was coming out and that means behavior wouldn't know when it was officially coming out either to release the chapter with the release of the movie. Considering what a mess the area of time when the nightmare on elm street and leatherface chapters were and the problems which led to two weak messes of killers that both needing a strong buff and the other a complete rework and kate being shelved all the way to clown's chapter I would think behavior wouldn't want to do the license until they knew for absolute sure when the candyman movie was coming out which was not announced until october of 2020 which I think cutting it too close for it to be chapter 21. I think we'll get him next year almost for sure though.
As for the actual chapter not sure, I don't think alien since it's disney and disney is awful. I still don't think chucky works for DBD, Pennywise is a possibility I think. Pinhead is also possible but idfk what the legendary could be? I think there are other cenobites so could be that? Dracula from castlevania I think also could be likely since they could have grabbed while asking capcom for RE and the netflix series finished fairly recently. However what I think is also very possible is it's an original chapter and someone had a cool ultra rare cosmetic idea for it and they went with it.
The issue with Leatherface and Freddy was Bhvr got shoved into making two characters at the same time because one contract holder didn't want to give their license while another really wanted to, so when they started working on one of them the other contractor holder relented and gave them their license.
So, Bhvr just kinda did them both
-
I seriously can't wait to see who they are
-
@Cornpopers_Evan said:
Honestly, if it's licensed, which ATM it's looking pretty likely that it will be, we probably aren't getting any sort of teaser until maybe anywhere between a day or two before the PTB, on the same day as the PTB or just outright no teaser at all. That's usually how they play ball with the licensed chapters. I know we got a teaser for the RE chapter technically a full month before the release but, that was Capcom just firmly flexing and wanting the big initial spotlight to be square on them.
I'm also just going to throw my hat in the ring and say it's most likely Candyman like everyone keeps on saying which, you've probably seen me say quite a bit the last week or so but I just don't care much for the idea. If it's revealed to be CM I'll just shrug my shoulders and go "cool, glad those asking for him got what they wanted". To be even more upfront and honest, the one and ONLY thing that is exciting to me about a CM chapter is Tony Todd, not the character he plays but just Tony himself is such a cool guy and I'd like for him to finally get his wish and see arguably his most iconic role in a video game.
I agree. I really want CM because well.. I can't seem to click with anyone other than LF and GF, I'm a huge fan of CM and I would absolutely love to main them, but Tony seems super duper excited for it, especially with his interview where he leaked a small bit of info where he did some voice acting for a special project

Rotten Fields is Cowshed both suck but I don’t mind the other three. In fact I love Abbitoir and Torment Creek.
Is this for survivor, killer, or both? For survivors they're pretty decent, for killers it can be very stressful

B. Followed immediately by saying, he sucks as a killer. People that follow the line of thinking typically say "DS is a bad killer, but he's so frustrating to play against."
Not exaggerating when I'm saying this
All those complaints I saw were survivors playing against him, playing AS him feels pretty god damn good.
A buff would be ridiculous, a fun ridiculous, but still ridiculous

I agree with almost all of these except for Coldwind. I despise that map, with the exception being the Thompson house

Got news for you, the general consensus is he's amongst the killers that could use a buff. His issues are simply a matter of taste in that a lot of survivors don't like facing him (so we're just basically just talking about reworking a killer purely based off of feelings).
If he were reworked to address the more valid issues survivors have with him, but resulting in a net buff, I'd do the following.
- Not change his firing time. The people that think his quickscoping is a problem tend to think his quickscope is shorter than it actually is. His quickscope is fairly average in time for power windups in this game. Maybe the ringing should be based on M2 presses, not when the gun's up for more feedback.
- Increase the cooldown on his ADS. The fact that he doesn't is where the problems are. DS doesn't have to commit to any shot, and is actually rewarded for just threatening the survivor to dodge and loose distance.
- Allow him to skip reloading if he lands a successful hit. So, the thing about DS is that he actually suffers long downtimes for failing, and significant ones even for succeeding. One disadvantage he suffers from compared to Huntress is that Huntress has 5 tries to hit a survivor and only has to wait 2 seconds to try again by default. If we're adding consequence to DS's ADS, and lowering his raw chase potential, it makes sense to lessen the advantage Huntress has. I like the idea of doubling down on high risk, high reward. If you're always hitting your shots, you snowball (even with STBL, his cooldown would be about the same as Huntress with this idea believe it or not). If you miss, you're punished.
- And last, give him some map mobility. I don't care how it's implemented. Give him entity grapple hook locations in the sky or something I dunno. DS reeling in survivors is wacky anyway, so F*ck it.
Who's this general consensus?
Most people either say
A.) Perfect
B.) Boring/frustrating to play against
-
When they start healing you they'll see the bar, that's the only hint unfortunately

I mean that he is not that strong to be nerfed, he isn't even near at A tier, not the opposite
By they way he also has an high skill ceiling, and it rewards good player, I don't see anything wrong about him
Okay if he has a high skill ceiling wouldn't that make him better than B? Typically more skilled characters that have a higher skill ceiling would be around A.
But yes, I too agree that he's fine. I said that in the post. "What would you personally do? I love Deathslinger, I personally don't find him boring or ridiculous to go against."
This is just a post to see what people think

No, not a buff rework.
Something that would make him less boring and slightly frustrating to deal with

A video would probably be good. You are supposed to follow a template and provide more info. Look at the pinned post at the top of the bug section. Are you on PC. You are supposed to also upload your log file if you are.
I'm on console, I have to go through hoops and loops in order to upload a video, I'll edit the post and upload the video in a bit. It takes forever for me to upload the video so I can send it.

For whatever reason, when Deathslinger is reeling someone and walking backwards, it becomes nearly impossible for that Survivors to move while speared. I don't know why that is. All I know is that Deathslingers that don't do that are possible to counter. Those that do use that feel super unfair to go against.
That's the only thing I'd change.
Can't argue with that, plus it would let the more durable chain addons be played more often

The same cooldown Pyramid Head has when canceling his ability (I think it is 1 second).
That's fair, it's a bit more relaxed for survivors and you can longer put fear into survivors just by spam aiming.
I'm just curious what the addon reworks would do instead

I didn't have too much of an issue with Trickster's range, but you do have a point

I wouldn't to be honest, I think he is fine as is. But if I did have the chance, I'd remove the spam ADS. And give him an add-on pass.
Like give him an UR that isn't tied to his small terror radius. Give him two bullets before reloading maybe.
I'm fine with the ADS cancel cooldown, no qualms here. It's just the wind up that makes me nervous, which.. sounds kinda ######### to say haha

If you're right, now that you say so in some circumstances the reveal may completely ruin you and I think they should improve it, but he's still a better stalker than Myers. There I fixed it.
It's.. Janky on both sides, sometimes you get revealed when you shouldn't and other times you should be revealed but you don't.
But, without taking those into consideration, his crouch is so good! I used that to challenge loops because no one can see me over the pile of whatever and I might be able to get that cheeky hit in since he can still lunge

I can understand those complaints, personally I find it weird that he has no lullaby. I mean.. I kinda get it.. but it's still range and can pry you away from safe loops
