Whilst I wouldn't say I'm personally "losing my sanity" over DBD, I agree playing it as killer is (and has been for a good while) a rather stressful experience.
Yesterday I popped on to do 3 daily challenges, all killer.
My word...every match...trolls, loopers, clickers, blockers...all with full knowledge of all the annoying tricks and the usual perks (Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Borrowed Time, Circle Of Healing etc).
It was just horrible. Made me want to just turn off.
Then I played as survivor with a couple of people I know...and it was great fun. And I say that as someone who didn't and who's team didn't torment the killer. We just played and didn't antagonize.
The main issue is that these days the killer role does not feel powerful or threatening. The survivors can band together and bully the killer with an organised battle plan. It's just toxic. It's a high percentage of the players that are absolutely ruining this game.
This needs to change.

But no, she's powerful but not op. Rather like Doctor. Lot's of tools at her disposal but she can be "defeated".

Good to get survivors when they're unfamiliar with the killer and the new map too.
Another thing: tomorrow the game is free on Epic. A lot more noobs will be playing and this could mean easier Adepts for anyone struggling.

Got her Adept on her 4th game. No PTB for me either.
She's quite powerful with a good tracking game. Her 3 gen play is a lesser version of Doctor.
No a bad killer...but doesn't have the lasting appeal of Pinhead and Nemesis.

As a suvivor I'm no good at looping, coaxing and juking.
As a killer, I may have to chase my prey but I'm relentless. I usually get them in the end.
My killer wins.

Got Tier 70 last night.
Had one available challenge left too. And level 4 is still on the way. Played quite a bit with all the events. Hasn't been a bad Rift.

Ghostly versions of Spirit, Doctor, Clown and Hag? Ghostbuster jumpsuits for Dwight, Meg, Claudette and Jake? That would be cool.

I still think it's a million miles nicer to play on than Badham. Every single thing about Badham is gross. At minimum for the peple who don't like RPD for it's gameplay have some really cool graphics and fans of RE will jut have some fun on the iconic map.
The same could be said of the 2010 Elm Street film (if there are any).
The Badhsm map is also authentic, the exterior of the school at least.

It seems odd as they names of the Stranger Things perks don't, to my knowledge, have a direct association with the series. But if the names were made under agreement with Netflix, it could be conditional that they're changed.
Naturally quotes and descriptions should be changed in the event of a character being removed, but do the names really need to change?
I quickly went through the licensed characters and here are the perks (again, to my knowledge) that have direct association.
Quentin Smith - Wake Up (references "waking up" from a nightmare).
Detective Tapp - Detective's Hunch (The word "Detective" connects to the character).
Ash Williams - Flip-Flip, Buckle Up and Mettle Of Man (all referenced quotes in the Ash vs Evil Dead series).
Leon Kennedy - Rookie Spirit (Leon is a rookie in Resident Evil 2).
Leatherface - Barbecue And Chilli (The family "business" in Texas Chainsaw Massacre) Franklin's Demise (Direct character reference).
Freddy Krueger - Remember Me (Quote from the character).
Amanda Young - Make Your Choice (Trademark tag-line from the film series).
Out of these, Flip-Flip, Buckle Up, Mettle Of Man, Barbecue And Chilli, Franklin's Demise, Remember Me And Make Your Choice are the most obvious associated references.

But regardless, it's possible that ALL licensed character perks could be subjected to name changes in the event of a character/chapter removal.

Yes. RPD is by far the worst.
Badly designed, frustrating crap.

Killer? Probably Wraith.

Get hit? Tough. Also, you shouldn't be able to twinkle toe over a bloody bear trap. I mean come off it.

I agree that deader is a weak movie, but i thought that the actress that played amy was pretty good, her character was intregeing and would be a good survivor in my opinion. I also agree completly that loomis should be a survivor
I remember watching the first few minutes of Deader and thinking "wow, is the director trying to make us HATE the lead character" 😆 She comes across a little too self assured for my liking.

But personally Hellraiser Deader is my least favourite of the franchise (although still haven't seen Revelations) and Amy was pretty unlikeable. Just my opinions.
I would like to see Dr Loomis (Halloween) as a Laurie legendary.

Hopper and Joyce as alternatives for Steve and Nancy.
Even though the actor who played Hopper was eye-rollingly embarrassing when he did that "punch them in the face" award acceptance speech.

I am trying to not spend my evenings playing video games, especially DBD. Having a break after completing all level 1 and Halloween challenges. Anyway...
Usually watch a film each evening.
Just finished rewatching the Evil Dead trilogy. Last time I watched them was around 1998. Still stick by my original lasting opinion: relatively enjoyable but overrated.

I actually think you make some valid points.
Personally I am not a Dead By Daylight "mark" who is going to reply to your topic with a snarky one word/sentence.
DBD is frustrating and highly flawed in many areas.
I hope VHS and Evil Dead give us some worthy alternative in regards to an online horror experience.

Haha yes.
We had a couple of kids turn up with full-body dinosaur costumes and one had a bright green inflatable alien outfit.
It was nice to see them enjoying themselves after a rather crap year.

DBD needs this.
It would be nice to have a chill-out lounge where you can go around merrily murdering bots with the ability to pause the game if someone knocks on your door etc.
I couldn't play DBD last night cause I was under siege from Trick or Treaters. Had a go on Resident Evil Village instead. Every 60 seconds...knock knock. Pain in the bloody buttocks.

First of, Halloween has always been my favourite film after Jaws and I enjoyed Halloween Kills. A bit muddled in the middle but it did has some well-made, memorable sequences.
The issue with updating the Halloween Chapter with the 2018/Kills elements is that the contract/license with DBD may only apply to the original 1978 film. Gaining the right to use likenesses can also be a headache.
It would be great to see some alternative Michael skins and some Legendary skins for Laurie. But I feel the prospect is unlikely.

Wan directed and co-wrote the first Saw, which is one of my favourite films. However, his overall portfolio isn't mind-blowing to me.
Blum is only a producer. I have enjoyed some of the films that have come out of Blumhouse, but many are overly politicised trash.

Unfortunately it's become a culture.
A quick search of YouTube. Pages and pages of results for videos to the style of "MAKING THE KILLER QUIT LOL!!!".
What these scholars don't understand is that they're turning people away from the game. But it's all worth it to spoil someone else's experience and make a video with a thumbnail of a hilariously distorted smiling survivor.
If one of these individuals knows they can purposely irritate online...they will.

All new cosmetics reveals, extra characters and virtue signalling = needs to be put on hold.
This game needs to be fixed. It's an utter disgrace in It's current state. It currently plays like a couple of chimps with a chess set. All over the place.
The shuttering. The lag. Infinite loading. Crashes. Freezes. Broken events. Broken perks. Broken maps. Broken cosmetics. Broken menus. Broken challenges. Broken trophies.
Everything. Everything that's released and added causes more problems.
A shame.
