Is the map offering back?
-
The first one was enjoyable but I didn't like the sequel. Finished both, but the second one was a little annoying at various points.
-
Friday 13th will always be my favourite.
-
See my username 😉

I cleared the pass a while back, but have 2 challenges left (hook obsessions and trap during chase). Once I've done these...I'm on a break from DBD. I will log in for the event rewards but that's it.
The freezing has got ridiculously bad. The game would stutter no end. One time an Ace vaulted the fence loop on Badham, and *bang* he was gone. Disappeared. I also kept getting teleported and loosing my rhythm.
Hand on heart, this game is in the worst state it's ever been.
-
This game is bad as it's ever been in terms of playability.
And this is not just me having a rant/whine/tantrum. It's that bad.
Playing PS4 yesterday, it's got to the point that when something happens, eg chase music starts, a pallet is dropped, a gen is completed etc: the game stutters and lags.
I've missed several hits and vaults because of this nonsense.
For example, I was on bottom floor near the bathroom of Gideon, went for a hook rescue, got chased by Nemesis, hit with tentacle as I got close, the screen went psycho and I found myself in another part of the corridor, resulting in another tentacle hit. It was ridiculous.
This game is currently far from fun. And the event with the people playing for crowns has made it even worse.

Feng = Beaker from the Muppets.
-
No. But I expect extra skins in the future.
-
Agreed. It's highly frustrating at the moment. I am taking time off until it's fixed.
-
I'm a lifelong horror fan.
Was enjoying Friday 13th: The Game, heard about DBD coming to PS4 via the hype for the Halloween chapter. Brought it on release week on disc.
-
I would say all take a certain amount of skill to master, but I believe Spirit and Doctor are easy to learn.
-
Then you have the streamers who constantly virtue signal. Highly tedious.
-
I played a handful of matched post-patch yesterday.
It's still bugged to hell. I did have a good match with Nemesis but the glitches still remained.
-
I've never had a compatible device.
But saying that, the only time I hear about DBD Mobile is when super-consoomer DBD streamers share associated posts. And I try to avoid any page/video by streamers. Unbearable.
-
The white abyss: The never-ending basement stairs fall.
-
I've never played the map (no PC for PTB and got the chapter late in the evening).
What exactly was the issue with Raccoon City? Cheers.
-
I've got no problem with the prospect of this.
The Twins are an interesting killer tandem. I haven't played with them much since I got their Adept, but when I do play I usually have a good match.
They're a unique experience and fun to play as and against.
-
Everybody has their own reasons.
I do take breaks from DBD. Usually after I've cleared the Rift pass.
This game can be a chore sometimes, and one can often be left frustrated.
It's only a game.
-
Survivor pudding = Bubba. *NumNumNum*
-
Starry-eyed. Happy clappy. Must consoom DBD funko poops.
-
Survivors: Started as Claudette for her healing ability and mained her for years. Now a toss up between David and Tapp.
Killer: Mirror Myers lol
-
Another thing: you can't do syringes. It has to be a full state manual.
I remember hearing some perks/status effects which impact healing speeds can effect the challenge.
-
I remember when I first started concentrating as killer...I would always use Whispers and Insidious.
I haven't used either in literally years.
-
Yes they are.
It's gotten worse with the release of the 'legendary' skins. Especially with most of them having non-interchangeable parts.
There is a reason why the Rift has scatterings of re-coloured skins: the more impressive ones are saved for purchase in the store, and sold at a high price.
And then we have the usual happy-clappy DBD streamers promoting new skins (likely purchasing them with funds which have been donated during streams).
And as long as people gush over them and buy them...the high prices are unlikely to change. But this is a problem with several games, not just DBD.
-
I'm not sure it works if you use a medi-kit. And I think it may also be full health states.
So for example, if you have Empathy and Self-Care, heal yourself twice in a match, it should work.
-
100%.
The whole situation is a mess.
-
Spirit. Dislike going against Doctor too.
-
I've mentioned it before, but Blight could have a Merchant (shopkeeper RE4) skin.
-
You have to max out his mutation to level 3, which can be only once a match.
So essentially you have to play at least 4 matches in order to get this 30k daily. Which is ridiculous.
Nemesis' daily should be contaminate 3 survivors using the tentacle. Done.
-
Ah yes.
-
In his current glitched state:
-Only use the tentacle when a vault/pallet hit looks very likely.
-Pay attention to the zombies. Look out for outstretched arms that indicate a survivor is being pursued or in close proximity.
-Later in the match eliminate zombies which are in far off/useless areas.
-Add-ons which increase zombie speeds and detection ranges are handy.
I currently use Tinkerer/Undying/Corrupt/Ruin.
-
One think I will say with DBD:
Expect to be disappointed.
A simple rule that also applies for any WWE game too.
-
I think he's an entertaining killer too. To play as and against. The zombies are fun.
The glaring issue is the disastrous amount of update bugs that spoilt the experience, and continue to do so.
Once these faults are amended, and we have Raccoon City, this could be a good chapter.
-
You all bleed the same. Prepare for the stab of knife and the pierce of hook.
-
Pretty knackered. Need a nap.
-
Back during the release week on PS4, 2017. I believe I used Trapper. When I hooked someone, I repeatedly slashed away at them thinking they would die quicker.
-
Killer Adept should be 4k with their 3 perks.
End.
-
@VonCrow said:
I think prove thyself is the only one that is kinda overpowered.
Dead Hard is....yeah so good, but the problem for me is how this perk changed chases. I feel like survivors would have a hard time trying to escape a chase without DH now...they have like a bad habit.
Agreed.
Some players are so bloody reliant on DH, it's just tedious.
-
No. He's one of the weakest killers. After I got his Adept I dropped him like a bad habit. Starstruck is a good perk however.
Makes me laugh at how over the top all the screaming lunatics were when he was revealed: wanting to be 'stood on' by the killer...cosplaying as the killer...doing disturbing 'art' of the killer.
All very...oh what's the word?...ah yes...tiresome.
-
I dislike playing against troll survivors far more than playing against a troll killer.
But both are highly obnoxious.
-
I completely agree that this should be removed.
-
The tentacle is fine, but it's currently in a glitched state.
One of the main pros with Nemesis are the zombies.
When they work probably, they give handy survivor detection alerts and block vaults/dropped pallets.
I think once Nemesis has been fixed, he'll be a lot of fun.
-
Yes. I have DBD on disc. It's always noisy on start-up, but recently it's got to the point where it's loud during matches too.
-
It's currently glitched to the point that Nemesis is almost unplayable.
I managed to get Adept Nemesis, but just used his punch mostly. I used the tentacle on pallets and vaults if a hit was highly likely.
I do like the concept of Nemesis, but he really does need sorting out.
-
It's an issue since the update.
With Nemesis, it's better to just punch or wait for a fix.
-
Tips:
-Use majority punches, only use tentacle on probable pallet drops. Punches will give you more opportunity to get Chaser points and the tentacle is currently buggy and has a long recovery.
-I used Admin Wristband (extends zombie range) and Mikhail's Eye (increases zombie movement). These will help your zombies be more of an effective security presence.
-As the gens go down, smash some zombies that are in far off areas (if you have time). They may respawn closer.
-Use a hatch offering (shack/main building). When you hook final survivor on their last state, go to the offered place and slam that hatch. This will prevent the last survivor escaping.
An indoor map like Midwich is good for zombie corridor patrols, but a smaller map without other levels can also work. I did the Adept on Ormond.
As soon as the match starts, Lethal Pursuer will activate showing all the survivor auras. Go to the place with most survivors, especially if 2 or more jump straight on a gen.
IMPORTANT: Keep an eye on your white aura zombies: outstretched arms indicate that they're pursuing a survivor or a survivor is the nearby area.
Good luck.
-
Got it!
Not too shabby 🙂
-
I have had a day off today and been playing Nemesis for a few hours (ps4).
BBBBBBLOODY HELL. This is atrocious.
Several hits not counting, survivors zooming around the map like Nurse, screen stops, ridiculous amounts of lag...it's putrid.
I am not attempting Nemesis Adept again until this crap is cleared up.
-
There are several issues relating to Nemesis. The launch and patch has been a colossal mess. This is putting people off.
I have been attempting the Nemesis adept but thus far haven't been able to achieve it due to the horrendous lag and juddering on PS4. It's an absolute nightmare.
In fact, I got so cheesed off I just quit during a match. And that's something I have hardly ever done in 4 years of playing DBD.
So many definite hits not counting due to various issues. It's highly frustrating.
And yes, naturally, the little darling toxwats are fully aware and exploiting these glitches.
What a dumpster fire this situation is.
-
I was 'lucky' enough to experience WWE 2K20 on launch.
That was something from the darkest depths of hell.
