I feel like this would only be good on smaller maps where you can kick gens quickly.
Speaking of smaller maps, take a second to imagine this build with double calm addons on Midwich or The Game.

Any advice on how to effectively play demogorgon? Not sure if it's me but he seems really weak.
Place portals in areas you want to control, and use grass and LOS blockers to your advantage.
Portals make noises that survivors can hear when within 8m of one, keep that in mind.
Use shred on windows and pallets if you're certain the survivor will vault, but also use it to make the survivor dodge and thus lose distance.
Finally, consider when you use shred to break pallets. If you get stunned, it's actually quicker to break the pallet regularly if you don't have the pallet shredding addon.

(Tier 4 Myers) Hex: Crowd Control, Coup de Grace, Trail of Torment, Play With Your Food
Survivor:

Well I figured instead of complaining about killers I would give it some rounds to see how bad it is. I got decimated. I think I maybe hit 1 person then got flashlighted like crazy. I even went around the outside of the map and looked behind walls and still got killed for lack of better words. I figured playing survivor all the time I would have an advantage since i know where most people hide but I was wrong.
Very wise decision to play the other side instead of complaining.
I'm very glad that wholesome discussions like these can still exist on the forums!

Was not expecting this
-
I like Otz and Noob3, but there are also some content creators that I think deserve more attention.
Stalky Boi- A really good Myers main that has a pretty good guide on him as well.
Pixel Bush Entertainment- Makes excellent lore videos, but is also a very good Twins and Plague player!
Tatariu- Great Legion main, and very fun to watch. (Yes I know he's on the forums)
-
Sure, but if Victor gets crushed it can take a while to get him back to where he was.
-
They're probably combining it with Lethal Pursuer.

- Don't heal.
- Split up.
- Literally just play the video game well.
Do these and Legion will lose almost every time.
As a Legion main, I can confirm that this is absolutely true.

Heard. And the more characters unlocked the longer it takes. Having all the teachables unlocked is satisfying because I'm an achievement oriented player but man it sucks when I want to main someone new like I've been doing with cheryl and the perks i want are taking forver to show! Haha anyway thanks for not getting all butthurt about my simple post. I never said i was angry about killers bo's or wanted then to not receive but just that it sucks being a solo survivor and rarely getting good teams means rarely getting good points
Being a solo survivor is a pain for sure.
Also, getting all teachables unlocked can be a pretty daunting task, so I wish you luck.

This makes sense as because the killers all have different powers. But if someone wanted to level up every survivor, is the grind very different? That's what I've been doing. I have every trachavel survivor perk possible and so far 4 of them have every perk allowed because it's such a grind
It's the same grind if you want to max out every survivor, (maybe even more because of the reduced bp you get) but you don't necessarily have to. You can just max out your preferred survivor and you are good to go. The difference with killer is that if you main multiple killers, you may need an entirely different variety of perks for either of them which would mean more of a grind, while if the same is true with survivor you just need to start leveling up both of them until you get your favorite perks.
-
I have a similar mindset and I treat the game very casually too.
However, at the end of the day, it is a video game, and balance is super important for its longevity. Especially because at times something can be so underpowered or overpowered that it makes it hard to have fun.
-
It only gets use once or twice a match, but it has its moments. For example, using it when a survivor is unhooking in front of you is just a guaranteed two downs. Or when you have a good opportunity to use your blades but are out of ammo.

This is why The Game and Midwich are his best maps
I have a build dedicated to torturing survivors on Midwich as Doctor
It's Distressing, Discordance, Ruin, and Surveillance (but I swap those last two out all the time) with double calm addons and of course, a Midwich offering.
-
Probably related to the grind.
As survivor, you need to only get the perks you want on your preferred survivor.
As killer, you need to get the perks you want on every killer that you play, and it's actually quite rare to see a killer player with just one main.
In addition, (not related to bp but I thought I should point it out) you don't have to spend that much money to be set on perks as a survivor. On console, Bill Overbeck, Feng Min, Meg Thomas, David King, and Dwight Fairfield all come free, which are survivors with notable perks that are considered good or meta.
Killers have to buy The Cannibal, The Clown, The Blight, and The Plague just to secure a decent build, and more DLC might be required depending on what killer they want to play. For example, if I want to play The Shape, I would not only have to buy him but I'd also have to buy Deathslinger to get Hex: Retribution (a fantastic perk for Myers)
-
Yes, it does.
However, it does not work on people in lockers.
-
While I don't care for Hag, she is a strong killer that can be both powerful and fun in the right hands.
-
Self-Care
In all seriousness, Pop is great because it serves as a direct counter to gen speeds and there is no killer that can't use it to great effect.
-
Bubba with Bamboozle is a valid complaint, but for just the standalone killer, I feel people need to learn the difference between oppressive and unfun to play against.
-
I don't experience these problems at all on Dbd Mobile. That alone should say something.
The fact that console players are being ignored like this is unacceptable.

It uninstalls the game for the person who rage quit.
Good, it'd be pretty unfortunate if it were the other way around lmao

@EvilJoshy said:
Perk 1: and don't come back
When a survivor rage quits or suicides on the hook, steam uninstalls the game.
Perk 2: don't be a jerk
Whenever a survivor teabags the entity impales them
Perk 3: Adapt
This perk will evolve and adjust to whatever the survivors are bringing. Constantly forcing them to change up their builds.
Question. Does "and don't come back" uninstall the game for you or the survivor?

Is there one of these discussions for killers and teachable perks?
I was thinking about it, I'd be happy to make it if you'd like!
-
Optimization, along with other things like the grind, are the reason i haven't come back to console. I totally agree that the devs need to make it a priority.
-
I agree, Pig's ability to shred is very gross and needs to be gutted. And don't get me started on the Rat Liver addon that makes it even more powerful. No point in ambushing and crouching when you can go into portals and use shred smh

Some killers play fair, I take that into account
can even guarantee a kill if you're unlucky
can kill you if the last generator pops if you're on the hook with the party hat
it's literally a free kill if the person is tunneled
Also, dash and stealth being too much? Really? Imagine if her only power was a completely RNG reliant form of slowdown.

The amount of "ifs" here is hilarious.

Grand Leap: You find it pretty stupid that no one else has made an attempt to jump across gaps when getting chased. Press the active ability button whenever you aren't interacting with an object to jump in the air and stay in the air for 1 second. The perk then afflicts you with the exhaustion status effect for 8/7/6 seconds. Regardless of exhaustion, you take no stagger whatsoever when falling from high places.
"Since when did everyone lose their common sense?" -Slim Jim
Mean Streak: From listening to You're The Best, you kept it in your mind that nothing could ever keep you down. When vaulting a window or pallet and you collide into the killer, stun them for 3 seconds. Once the perk is used, become afflicted with the exhausted status for 60/50/40 seconds.

Regardless of exhaustion, you take no stagger whatsoever when falling from high places.

Remember to have fun! It's easy to use meta perks and worry about winning, but mixing it up a bit is always a good thing.

A waterfront massacre outfit for Twins. It's based on the idea of what the Twins would look like if they had to blend in at a beach with a lot of people.
Head: Sunscreen and sunglasses, with a sunhat on top.
Body: Orange dress with a baby pouch that is angled so it looks like Victor is in it. On the back, the hay bale is replaced with towels, the tea set with sippy cups, and a beach umbrella and stroller are also stored there.
Weapon: A fractured life preserver (or an anchor, haven't decided yet)
-
From a pure standpoint of characters, a Binding of Kin. It brought me two (technically 3) of my mains, Twins and Elodie.
Overall, I would say Descend Beyond, because it kicked off the realm beyond which made the game look a lot more pleasing, and it also brought two great characters.

I'm surprised more people don't already know about this, but it's great that this information is being spread.

Lazy Bastard: Your determination to do nothing of actual value gives you the strength to be lazy, even in the face of danger.
If you have been standing still or crouching around for more then 30 seconds, gain the endurance status effect for as long as you remain still/crouching.
Cowardly: (Couldn't think of a quote for this one)
If the killer surprises you, scream and then sprint at 150% of your normal movement speed for 1 second. You become exhausted for 600 seconds. You cannot recover from exhaustion while sprinting.
Terrible at games: You suck at most games.
If you start doing any action, it now takes 20% longer. ######### you.

Doesn't mean it shouldn't be a little more balanced and enjoyable at high Ranks.
Oh, I totally agree. I was referring more to things like esports and tournaments.
-
Why? Dbd isn't designed to be a competitive game, no matter how much the devs or anyone else want it to be.

I got Pig on a personality quiz

Congratulations! Welcome to the club lmao

High tier killers in general? Yes.
The ones you listed? Absolutely not.
