The problem is not the cost of the perk at 4, 5, or 6k.
The problem is you need to do a full bloodweb that costs around 50k in order to do it again.
Right now to take a Killer from Level 1 all the way to Prestige 3 with all perks costs roughly 10.8 million points.
Removing perk tiers would lessen this to 6.6 million points.
Survivors cost even more.
While it would be a good start, removing perk tiers simply still isn't enough with the amount of Survivors and Killers there are now.
That's why I said that the other solutions have a place and should also be added.

REMOVE PERK TIERS

I think, "What??" But i usually say it out loud.

It's impossible for a 1v4 game to be balanced though.
All asymmetrical means is that the two sides have different abilities. This makes balance difficult, but it is certainly possible to make each side have equal power.

Balance.

no it applies the effects right when it activates not during its active period
Thank you. I kind of thought this, I just hoped it wasn't true because I wanted to use it in a build.

I recommend you buy Plague and unlock Corrupt Intervention, one of her teachable perks. It will be your best friend.
You could also buy Blight and utilize his great mobility, or Nemesis for his perk Lethal Pursuer.
My final advice is to learn the maps. Learning the maps and even playing survivor yourself and help you find survivors early on much more easily.
-
I'll entertain a Sluzzy post this time.
-Blast Mine can actually win games sometimes since you can keep working on the gen while the killer is stunned. It's not fantastic, but it is fun and it has its moments.
-Flashbang isn't that strong but it's my favorite perk because It's so damn fun. It can also be very good in certain situations.
-Counterforce isn't meta-changing (My opinion) because of the Ruin/Pop combo, but it is the best way to get rid of totems by far.
Why are the devs forcing the use of SWF to play the game?
This is an actual good point and a question I myself want answered. Solo queue is in a pretty unacceptable state.

I don't know but I encountered a Tombstone Myers yesterday and had the whole group mori'd within 5 minutes. I just went afk bc I didn't want to play anymore
If that really happened, then the survivors you were playing with were either teabagging in front of the Myers or are rank 20.
-
I really love Twin's lore and design, and for survivor I kind of like the lore of Elodie and Yun-Jin. So those are who I'd choose.

Why would people ever defend this add on? It’s clearly op and needs a change.

Dear Developers I just was in a match with a Mike Myers killer that had both pink (Epic) addons which starts him of at rank 2 of his ability all he did was stalk not get involved in the match at all ie not chasing , not kicking Gens nothing at all,
Gets to rank 3 which with the addons selected keeps him permanently on that rank.
And then proceeded to mori the whole team with just downing us once , not sure about anybody else in the DbD community but kinda not fun to de-pip due to not being able to do Survivor mechanics like Unhooking , Healing teammates at all
Clearly a Overpowered spec for this killer
I know there are people that will say just don't get caught by him... but the Game mechanics are eventually the killer is going to catch up to the survivors and hit / down them
Myers is a weak killer
These 2 addons make him a 110% speed killer with nothing to compensate
He has to spend such a large amount of time stalking to get to T3 that he is guaranteed to lose 3 gens or more
Once in T3 he is literally just a 110% speed killer with no chasing power
If you want advice playing against this build, then I suggest trying to look behind you as much as possible and make sure you're breaking line of sight, making sure you're spread out from other players, and doing gens. That's it. If you think this build is OP then I doubt you play against Myers or use him much at all.

They had a lighter budget and a developer that didn't believe in the project.
They might have set aside some money for the Halloween license when they released the game. Maybe they approached many different people and Halloween was the best option for their budget.
Maybe they knew that a dedicated F13 game was in development and they were worried that acquiring an F13 license followed by the release of that would drive players to the F13 game and would be a waste of money for BHVR.
Maybe it was because they had already designed Trapper and having Jason in that early on would be awkward (The fact that they had already designed Trapper also supports my first point.)
While I can't say for sure, my point is that there are many answers to your question and there certainly was a valid reason why Jason wasn't included that early on. (Plus, they might have gotten swept up in the lawsuit mess if they had added him, so maybe it's for the best.)
-
Gameplaywise I don't like it, just like the other Coldwind maps.
However, I do love how detailed the house has become. Before, the main attractions were "box", which is great and all but it was kind of silly to have the house look like someone just moved in and hadn't unpacked anything, and also owned nothing except for small items packed into boxes.
Now, it looks like an actual house, complete with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, designated room to show off carcasses, etc.
-
It stinks when you want to pick up a killer but you hit a wall. I know that feeling pretty well.
But what helps me sometimes is looking up a guide on youtube to brush up on the killer. Maybe that'll help you?
-
A classic.
Also, Fortnite Demogorgon? That's a thing?

Impossible, highly unlikely a license chapter just cameout they wouldn't do another one right after it ,this was just a random photo that's legit, but hold no buoyancy
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
-
Idk if it's just me, but it kinda looks like someone wearing a cape, so it'd be a Ghostface.
But I will ignore that and say that it's Candyman and confidently boast that Candyman could be the next killer.
-
Deathslinger in S and Billy above Bubba are interesting choices.
-
Victor is like Demo, he's too much of a good boi to be scary
-
He needs to be unreworked
although his "rework" was a nerf.

What?
I think they've had a bad day
Or they just like slugging and now have some time on their hands to play dbd
-
That'd be cool.
-
My favorite perk overall is Surge, but I absolutely love Thana on Legion.
For survivor, I never take kindred off.
-
I wonder what the personal effect is
-
My win condition is how many hooks I get.
If all survivors escape but I got 8 hooks, I won't be upset.

u can't patrol gens on like most killers cuz maps are huge and gens fly fast and killers are slow
Play Blight or some other mobility killer then
-
Lag, this happens a lot on mobile.
-
Neither of them are overpowered killers, but Doctor is more powerful.
-
Why not. Every survivor uses it anyway and it'll help reduce the grind by at least a little bit.
-
I couldn't do just one-
Hillbilly: Skewers the survivor with his chainsaw, lifts them into the air and turns it on, showers in blood
Demo: Drags the survivor into the upside down and well uh eats them
Twins (Mori when controlling Victor): Victor latches onto the face of the survivor and after a bit of struggle, tears and bites it into a bloody pulp.
Legion: Personalized moris for each of them, slight variations on their currently existing one with how they finish the survivor (current mori is dragging their knife through the chest of the survivor.) Frank's is normal, Julie admires her work and lets the survivor desperately try to escape before finishing them off, Susie slashes the survivor., and Joey finishes the survivor off with a curb stomp.
-
Victor Deshayes
-
I like Twins' lore, they're the only killer that killed (outside of the entity's realm) Because it was the only thing they knew, and they had to do it.
(Maybe with the exception of Bubba.)
-
And if they do, I might come back to console.
-
Pop is the backup plan, for when Ruin inevitably gets cleansed.

I find it fun, and I don't see the point of this post because surprisingly I am able to play this game and also have a life.
Crazy, isn't it?

Hag.
I know I probably should put "No Killer Should be Banned" but I just hate Hag too much to pick it, she's not only unfun to play against but she isn't even fun to play as and doesn't have any good lore or cosmetics (at least Spirit is fun to play as, has good lore, and good cosmetics)
I agree wholeheartedly.
Hag needs to exit.
-
Slow as hell, map dependent, no chase potential, and takes away all the viable things about Myers.
That being said, I should have ranked it SS for "Super Super Fun"
-
I love nice gestures like this!
-
I agree.
While Iridescent addons are supposed to be powerful or power-changing, of all killers Spirit should be an exception to this (In a perfect world of course, currently most iridescent addons aren't that good). Not only is she a top tier killer, but her other addons are also extremely powerful.
On a killer like Myers, this isn't a problem, because Myers himself is not a very strong killer and both of his iridescent addons have a significant drawback.
Mother-Daughter Ring is the equivalent of old Iri head, but it doesn't need another addon to be effective and is on an even stronger killer. I have to assume that it is only talked about less because Spirit is already so oppressive.
-
Noted.
With Flashbang, Blast Mine, Sprint Burst, and Diversion, I now have a Ghostbuster build I can try out (I know Wraith isn't a ghost but the name is close enough...right?)
-
Trickster is less fun but a whole lot better without addons. In my opinion, addonless Trapper is the worst killer in the game. Trickster can get some use out of his blades in many situations and at certain tiles be more oppressive than Deathslinger. Plus, the good addons that he has benefit his power greatly.
I think Trapper is more fun but in terms of viability, I'd say Trickster is slightly better.
-
It'd be cool, but I think that in the end it'd be used for toxicity.
-
I have a lot.
Trapper, Clown, Myers, and Nemesis: Big Guy
Pyramid Head: Doritohead (duh)
Blight: The incredible pinball
Legion: Not really a nickname but I like to purposely misspell all of their names.
Trickster: The guy who throws knives
-
Please don't let that be true, that man is a treasure.
-
Remember that one time Otz insisted that Trapper is fine and doesn't need any buffs, just a visual rework for him to look more up to date?
-
Treat Victor like an RBT, ignore the survivor with him on their back.
And if they go for an unhook they're already injured so it's at least a guaranteed trade if you're close enough.

I mean you could, but none of these perks are TR dependent though.
True, but then again small maps are great for Doc.
-
Because it actively reduces the grind and the effect it has is also great.
