I think if you're downed and youre the last survivor your should either be able to heal out of the dying phase once or still use items.
Ive had multiple matches now where the killer will down multiple people and wonder off. Whether to find others or perhaps to find the hatch. But it's rather boring if you crawl away and manage to evade the killer to have nothing to do but wait to bleed out.
To heal only to be told 'find help' when the game clearly knows all other survivors have been sacrificed is stupid. This should compensate by a series of skill checks that you have to complete to heal yourself. If you fail the skill check you will make the normal injured noise revealing yourself to the killer. If you pass you can get up and remain in the injured state until you find a medipack.
If you have a medipack you should still be able to use it. This could happen in one of two ways. It makes the healing quicker and allows you to recover from the dying state or you consume the medipack instantly and recover from the dying state. Either way the medipack would be gone and you would still be in the injured state when you get up.
Finally, in line with being able to use the medipack, you should be able to use a key to open the hatch and escape. You can escape when downed if the hatch is open. I don't see why you shouldn't have the same last ditch effort as if you were healthy/injured - especially as if you've been downed, escaped the killer and managed to find the hatch all whilst crawling on the ground you kinda deserve it more.
Again this is just for those survivors who are the last ones and downed prior to the third survivor being sacrificed when there is no other way to recover which doesn't seem fair/balanced.
Maybe don't be petty and just wait?
If you decide to hide, then it is your problem that you will bleed out.
I mean killer adepts are not hard enough, right?

From the MMR leaks, apparently when your MMR is high on one killer, it raises the MMR of all your other killers (even if you've barely or never played that killer). This leaves a lot of artificially high-MMR killers (no offense) and not enough high-MMR survivors. Not saying this is true or untrue, but this is what the leaks apparently showed. Hope this answers your question!
I think it is better than 100% separate MMR for each killer.
I pretty sure it used to be this way before and it was just wrong when I played anything else than my mains.
It should be lower (as it is), but your generic skill as killer is still there. It is different for killers like Blight / Nurse / Hag / Pinhead.
Problem is that killer gets to high rank alone, noone else needed. It is harder for survivors, mainly soloQ.
There is theory that survivors don't have same MMR, but it is avarage of 4 survivors compare with killer. So your teammate is dead weight sometimes too much and you lose MMR even tho it is not your fault.

So in over one month no dev looked at this. I mean yes there a ton of posts but if you have a "Feedback and Suggestions" category I expect that everything will be equaly valid to the devs. This only shows that we as community have no voice and this is showen by the resent updates and changes. I wish our voice would have more weight especially with stuff like this topic which would help new players and old players alike and perhaps even bring more profit to BHVR.
Like a parent would say: I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.
Devs almost never watch posts, just mods.
I wonder, if mods ever send good ideas to devs, or we just talk to ourselves.
Which is pitty, I really like your idea.

Hey, it will become only gen regression perk free for all killers, so it would be really nice, if all killers could actually use it.

or just do what other game do.
Make it so that if a players received too much of a hacking report they go to a special queue where they go up against players with similar numbers of hacking reports.
Basically Flying Ghostface with Infinite Hatchets vs 4 Infinite Sprint Burst and Insta Heals Survs.
I would actually want to see that...
That game, not system.
I don't like this thing based on players too much, because some people will just report that person, not because they actually cheat, but they just don't like that person.
-
Longer queue and way more DC survivors.
-
Lament Configuration + Chain Hunt is what makes him good and annoying.
But Summons of Pain are hard to use (easy to dodge) and even if you hit survivor, you don't get much from it.
Around loops, you are often limited with only one way, because with other way, you will break your chains, which is just bad.
I wouldn't mind some small nerf for Chain Hunt, if we can get better overall power we can use.
-
Give me charm or something I can show off and make Grades based on SBMM, so it has meaning.
-
Well, take it as a compliment...
-
I am epileptic and I would actually love that.
Gens indoor often has some flickering lights, which is really annoying for me. I just always try to get camera to an angle, where light is minimized.
-
I would agree with Kindred (without Killer aura) and totem counter sure, but Bond would be too good overall, even for SWF.
That is not type of information that is easy to share.
-
Fix your internet or attitude.
-
Problem is that late game is where Prove Thyself is needed most.
Early game you want each survivor on 1 gen.

Never heard of this guy before but someone recommended his video. I think he might be onto something. He brings range add ons and most of the match he is focusing on harassing the person trying to solve the box. His goal is to launch a chain to interrupt the person solving the box. Then once interrupted he chases them down to keep the chain hunt going. If he can keep the hunt going it actually applies a lot of pressure.
This play-style looks like fun. Problem is that he is highly addon and map dependent.

When second chance perk is not enough -> evolve into third chance perk.

Or did I just get screwed over one final time by the ######### old matchmaking system? I don't play DBD anywhere near as much as I used to, and I haven't play Pyramid Head in nearly a year, so if this is the new MMR system its already broken.
I think it should be active now, so yeah. Enjoy

Why is this only an issue when Killers are asked to look for totems? If you don't waste your time looking for the totem, don't do it. Just put up with whatever negative effects it provides.
After all, that's what Survivors have been expected to put up with for almost five years since Hex perks were introduced.
So 4 players to run around the map (third person) vs 1 player (first person).
Several perks and item to show totem location vs nothing.
Do you really think it is same?
Survivors will have option to hide totem in dead zone, where you just never want to go, because it is huge waste of time and you are not sure it is there. You just don't have time for it against decent survivors.

the passive power is soooo powerfull and annoying! try to play surv against him...and talk later!
That is only time where he is decent killer, problem is that it takes lot of time to get it and let's be honest, unless survivors are idiots your teleport is almost never worth it. Survivors will solve cube inside strong loop, where they can waste a lot of your time.
-
No, it is fine.
It is not good for every killer, but it is really good for fast killers and possibly stalking too.

I doubt he is playing Blight. There is no way Blight is not going to find survivor before Tinkerer notification. It has to be some 110% killer.

Obviously he does work in red ranks since he's got one of the better kill rates in red ranks. Furthermore I am a red rank Mikey main and consistently do well with him. So I am saying to you that you are wrong on that. Now when MMR hits that may be a different story. And not just for Mikey but most killers. But right now he is and always has been very viable in red ranks.
Its easy to get stalk. I don't know what kind of super immersed players you get but I never have any issues getting to tier 3. Ever. I consider Mikey a decent killer. Not great but not terrible. He's certainly not the worst. He's not even in the bottom five.
If you're interested watch Scott Jund's video on him countering all the usual criticisms you see regarding him;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7wp7RrzRfw
No I am not posting that because "Big streamer said it so it must be right". Its a great comprehensive video that goes into great detail on it and verbalizes why Mikey is decent and not even close to the worst far more than I could in a post.
I am not saying he is worst killer, but he is bad killer.
I am Legion main (worst killer by Scott) and I can do 4k in most of my games in red ranks, but that just doesn't mean anything. It just means that red ranks are not always good survivors.
It was way different during SBMM tho... I am not looking forward that.

I think they just assume everyone will play both (no, please, God, no) and therefore we will get 500k. If they just bumped it up to 500k per role for a 1 million total, I would be down.
250k is nothing to killer mains. But those survivors? That is like 10 solid games, rofl. They would hate to spoil them TOO much.
Yeah. Most players will be happy, if they get to rank 1 with one role.
It is possible to get both roles, but you have to do it knowing that you will lose all progress next month and you do it for 250k...
I just couldn't care less for any amount of BP. Give me something I can show off, then I will do both.

What way is that? Tombstone? You're kidding yourself if you think most of his kills in red ranks come from tombstone. There would be an outcry of tombstone epidemic if that was the case.
What doesn't work well in red ranks? Are you talking about tombstone again? The method I am assuming you just said is how he performs so well in red ranks?
He doesn't work in red ranks overall. Daddy Myers, no matter what he brings.
Mainly, because it is rare for you to get free stalking. So you don't get tier III that fast and there are survivors who will be able to run you for that duration and you didn't really have time to find weak link.
Do you consider Daddy Myers good killer?
-
I don't care about game mode.
Make patch full of perk / balance changes, so there is change in meta. That would be fun to test.
Alternative modes usually fail and there is only few players that care about it.

easy solution: change the check from "last gen repaired" to "exit gates powered".
Achievement is now: "As the last survivor alive when the exit gates are powered, escape through an exit gate". This is still tough, but much more common, and compliments the collapse.
If platforms won't let you change the description, just leave it as-is, and say it's "technically" true, because the last gen IS getting completed by the killer slamming the hatch.
Problem is that you have players that have this achievement and it was pain to do. If you make it easy, that it will not be interesting achievement to have.
It would be like change adept killers to 4k, it would be just kick to players who finished it hard way. Well, it will be easy anyway with SBMM, because you can just do it as rank 20 after reset.

e.g.:
- Remove a reverse bear trap
- Stun Wraith out of invisible with a flashlight
- rescue a fellow survivor from cage of atonement
- cure yourself of plague
- cure yourself of zombie virus
- wake up another survivor
- escape from a bear trap
- snap out of madness
- destroy a demogorgon portal
- break ghostface's focus by looking at him
- run out the timer on being ghostface's target without getting hit
- burn a hag mark with a flashlight
- kill a zombie
- kick the baby
- etc.
Yes, I know they would drive cheevers crazy because you can't control what killer you'll face, but it's OK not to be able to pursue every achievement every match. I could see cheevers DCing because they didn't get the killer they needed being a concern before DC penalty, but I don't think that would be an issue now. Especially if they were only one-time rather than "x times".
That would be so annoying to do, because some killers are just bad and noone plays them.
Some of those challenges would be impossible to do for high rating survivors in next patch and there is nothing you can do about it to get them.
Otherwise cool ideas, but I have finished achievements and this would be really annoying for me.
You might also add survivor-specific killer achievements, like:
Kill Dwight, Meg etc.

Cool your jets. I was not saying these stats prove he is an A tier killer or something. It was just a simple response to the remark that red ranks can think they have an easy time when they get Mikey when in actuality he's one of the better performing killers who's not struggling to get kills in the red ranks.
Its an irony because he performs better than most.
He performs better than most for same reason as Pig. He has way to get kill even if he sucks.
Problem is that it doesn't work that well in red ranks, so I don't know anyone who doesn't like Daddy Myers.
-
This would make BT useless and 120 seconds is really long time.
And complete immunity + movement speed increase is little bit overkill imo.
Just that complete immunity would be quite broken, because you have time for Dead Hard after unhooking in front of killer (after hit) and this would make body blocking super easy, annoying and shouldn't be allowed.
Survivors shouldn't be allowed to have free unhooks in front of killer without perks. It is just bad play from them and killer should have option to punish it.
If killers down you after you got unhook in front of him, it is not tunneling. You team-mate just farmed you and it shouldn't be without consequences.

People really overestimate the amount of time it takes to give him stalk to infinite tier three. It really isn't that long
Please stop acting like survivors need to be out of LOS permanently against Myers when that's unrealistic. They're going to be seen and it's dramatic to pretend that it takes ages to get infinite tier three when it doesn't. Especially putting on slowdowns as Myers makes infinite tier 3 a walk in the park unless it's a map like The Game or Léry's
and you stop acting like infinite is big deal.
Just don't heal, do gens and don't be greedy on pallets.
Tombstone addons are big deal, but even they can be countered. If I see Myers stalking too long, then I will never give him option for mori. Just go to locker, vault something, work on gen. When you are in any animation, he can't mori you, because he will just normally grab you instead.

The irony is he brings home more kills than most of the killers in red ranks.
Oh right, because Big data ever proved anything...
Pig is OP and Nurse sucks yay.
Mayers have decent kill rate, only because noone plays him without addons. He is really bad without them and he gets free kills with tombstone add-ons.
If OP tried to complain against tombstone, then sure. But infinite is not that big deal really. Just don't be bad and don't heal against infinite. I have seen so many survivors heal against infinite...
-
I am sure kills have value.
So I am going to abuse fact that killers have different ratings and I will have killers where I just kill everyone to get my rating as I high as possible and then killers where I will just show everyone I can kill them and then let them leave in hope for lower rating, so I can sometimes just chill and don't need to stress all the time.
I am glad reward for grades is so pathetic, so I don't have to care about it and just play however I want and sometimes lose on purpose.
I think you should have a way to see your ratings, then I would be motivated to play seriously and it would be possible to set up goals I want to achieve. But right now, I am gonna lose on purpose, because I have no reason to care about it.

There was a night I had full team for swf, 3 of us were in same house and lost power at the start of the match. Killer let the 4th survivor do the gens and leave so he got the trophy.
I got it because my teammates all either DC'd or hook suicide pretty quick into match. Killer decided to farm with me for points because otherwise they just would've had nothing. I got the trophy that way. It really does rely mostly on a nice killer.
Yeah, I have let several survivors do even 5 gens alone this way, just because this achievement was super annoying to do for me.
I also want more BP from that game...
-
I have all achievements and this was definetly hardest one. I have tried to do it normally for some time and then gave up on that way.
I just went to game as SWF with BP offerings, gave killer items and kinda tried to force him to farm, then when last gen was 99% my friends tried to convince killer to kill them by pointing at hook, if it didn't work then they just DC.
-
Yes, this is main reason why I prefer Ruin + Pop.
Totem spawns are really bad, when survivor can start the game actually looking at your hex...
-
I would rather they changed duration to 70 days (same as Rift), so players have time to grind and they can prepare better reward.
Maybe some charm / skin, just something I can show off.
250k is just super lazy and pathetic for amount of work we have to do and don't forget that those games will not be easy just because you are low Grade, you are going to tryhard all the way.

I would enjoy something like this even if it was spectating a rando match by pressing a button. Sometimes when killer queues get bad and i don't want to play survivor I have nothing to do if I'm playing one of my p3's with all perks. It's literally load up, minimize until i hear sfx of campfire while messing around doing other stuff.
Imagine that infinite content for youtubers. Just watching random players and guess their rank.
Well, I would watch it.

THANKS!!!! :-)
Alright, so you buff perks that don't need buff and you nerf perks to dust, this is mess and not balancing at all.
Bond really doesn't need nerf, it is really good perk for soloQ, but that's it.
Boil over: sure I guess. 25% is a lot, so you might want to reduce distance of second part.
DS: It is just old DS with short duration, it is actually nerf. Current DS is in good spot for both sides, no need to change.
Distortion: That is kinda broken. Just make it that killer can't see your aura and it will be really strong. There is no need for scrath marks effect.
Iron Will: Yeah, why not buff already meta perk. I guess survivors like to bleed out on ground.
Fire up: This would be really strong with 3-gen set up and close to impossible to deal with, so not healthy for game.
Surge: That would be quite broken, better buff would be to let all attacks work and keep range.
Ruin: You really don't want to buff ruin, it is already one of the best perks.
Tinkerer: Yay, you just made it useless. Why the hell would you give it this big cool-down and remove undetectable?
Whispers: probably best free for all perk and you want to make it useless? you clearly don't know how to use it, if you think it would be fine with cool-down...
Unbreakable: Yeah, no. It is just no mither without negattive effect.
Left behind: whatever.
Brutal Strenght: sure.
Sprint Burst: Really? Probably best survivor perk and you want to buff it?
You are not good at balancing perks.

I am not sure how hard it would be to implement it, but it seems as hard as Claire, or Chris. I don't know, if it would be legal to do for them, but it should, because license is not about his power, isn't it?
I would actually love to play this version maybe more than Demogorgon, but there is also chance BHVR is planning to do werewolf original as killer and will not want to waste it here.
I think it is brilliant idea and just wanted to share it here. Would you like werewolf as demo?
-
That is so bad idea..
Tactical DC can lose a killer's game, you are on dead hook and you DC close to hook (killer wasted time), so killer doesn't get Pop / BBQ.
and you would want to also stun him?
Sure, if you do that, make DC penalty double. So those toxic noobs can enjoy it in lobby.
-
Sadly it doesn't work with Devil-May-Care - Joe. His lip sticks out of that mask and it looks weird.
-
I don't think it ever prevented tunneling, opposite is true.

This is, unfortunately, not true, or not working as intended. I have had several survivor games over the weekend that had the dead hard issue. I have seen it happen to other people, where I would only find out a survivor had dead hard before their third down because of how unreliable it is. You really do have to use it early pretty often.
Well, isn't it fair now?
Killers see hits, which get denied and survivors see exhaustion. which get denied...
Both things are annoying, difference is that survivor see it when use Dead Hard too late, killer has nothing to do about it.
