If you're in first hook, I'm running to you, you attempt to yeet trying to steal my unhook points, I'll just wait till you reach second stage.
I did this to a Dwight, and he decided to sabotage the game and help killer find me.
Sandbag, clicking flashlight in my direction, and the killer took his side without any knowledge.
Next time I see someone try to yeet when they see me coming for save, I'm just going to turn around and leave you on hook.
I agree it is very annoying when they do that.
I made a rule for myself that if they managed to get themselves unhooked in front of me?
I turn around and won't even heal them, no matter how badly they want.
And as soon as they are on the hook again, they don't have to count on me to help.
Not if the 2 others are being cut of by the killer or if that person and me are the only 2 left.

HAHAHAHA
Did you see the recent stream drop for stats?
70% kill rate, on average for killers, 3 kills 1 escape.
BTW I love it when people like you do the whole 'I play both sides equally' but then follow it up with a 'poor killer' post.
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Also, can you quantify when you say escape 'so much' because those dev stats would say otherwise.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1779709#Comment_1779709
YouTube: dennisvaneijk1980
Check it out if i do or don't play both sides and then come back complaining I'm not playing both side.
Beside where exactly did I say I play both sides equally?
I don't record my time playing a side so it's hard to say what side I play more and which less.
That state probably is more deu to people like you who apparently can't play solo and die so quickly or killing themselves on the hook.
I can't give you exact numbers of how many games I escape, but i believe I gave you a number of about 90%.
It's ok if you're not that good in the game and can't escape as a solo, I won't judge you for it.
But don't think everyone is the same as you, there are a lot of solo survivors who can escape easily.

Wait a minute. There's actual gameplay and skill that's required from the Survivor's on Ormond, that's amazing.
ππ
Didn't you know that yet then?
Only survivors get skill checks so they are they only ones that have skill.
It is very hard hard to hit those skill checks and to throw pallets down π

I was a little irritated when they did that to the school. That was my go to when being chased, like the house in crotus penn. I guess killers didn't like not being able to catch survivors, so they cried enough and it was made easier for them.
With that answer you just showed how broken that school was π
And you can still go there and keep the killer busy there, you just need a figure out the routing.
And there are plenty of other spots the run the killer.
I love how you immediately start pointing fingers towards killers.
Not sure your reason other than trying to piss people of for no particular reason whatsoever.
If my memory serves me well, it wasn't the killers crying about it, it was just the devs who had decided that π
-
@evil_one_74 said:
There seems to be more breakable walls now from what i have noticed. That lessens the chance of getting away. ( god forbid that happens ). Soon all survivors will be able to do is run in a straight line.
There is 1 down side with breakable walls tho.
It wastes time of the killer, and more often than not, the killer has to break it otherwise there is an infinite loop.
Exception of the school in badham, there is is better to keep both entrances closed

Imo that was actually a pretty good QnA, one of the best they've had. That's restored a noticeable amount of faith in the devs.
They actually gave stuff to look forward to (clown teaser, wraith buff) and their stance on certain topics.
One question though, why Demo for the next adjustment after huntress add on pass? Demo while not being incredibly strong is one of the more balanced and well designed killers in the game aside from the god awful hitboxes. I would've thought maybe Plague, Hag or Michael, as they are much more problematic from a design perspective than Demo.
Personally I thought this Q&A was a bit lame, had also to do they brought back old questions which were answered a couple of times before or questions that was allready been adressed earlier this week.
They can't change licensed killers because they have to get permission from the owner before doing so.
Which will take time depending on how the owner is, look at freddy for example.
I really hope they do a buff for my Wraith and not buff him and applying a bigger nerf to him.
But we'll see once they show something tho

My only complaint with new ormond is there's a natural rock wall outside of the main building that you can climb on top of. The killer can get up there as well but, every killer I play has trouble not falling off of it unlike survivors. I dont know it that was an intended spot but, it's very weird and feels out of place completely.
I haven't seen that yet tbh, but i don't think it was intended.
On sanctum of wrath there is also a spot where you can run up on a rock.
I saw someone doing that when I went down, but he thought he was untouchable which he quickly found out he wasn't.
Same on the spirit map next to the main building, there is also a spot, but there the killer can't hit you.
Not sure if the killer can get up there or he didn't know how.
Even I didn't know how the survivor got up there

You see, I can just say the same. I have 5000 hours now, play around 70/30 killer/survivor (with most of my survivor games being solo) and I escape way more than I die. Just today I tried to get the Power Moves achievement and did it in 10 games, that means 8 escapes and 1 kill with 0 perks and doing at least 1 gen (one game I got chased the whole game and couldn't get a gen done but still escaped).
When I play survivor I very rarely feel cheated by the map (it does happen, but so does it on the killer side), more often than not it's either fully my fault for going down or just my teammates getting hit by pallets and instead of running trough them they end up wasting them and going down 10 seconds later anyway with nobody doing gens. All of this is not a game balance problem, but a matchmaking problem and if we balance around that we should also buff all the killers because rank 20s keep getting matched with rank 1s and its no fun getting stomped.
Now I don't say killers are overpowered, neither do I say survivors are overpowered, both still have problems that need to get solved like Moris/Keys and certain maps, but since Ormond was one of those they ended up fixing it and made it more balanced.
Glad to see there are at least a few who understands it π€

Rank 2, 3000 hours. I know perfectly how to play, and yes, killer is so easy
I didn't mention anything about killer being hard or easy, so don't try to put words in my mouth mate π
Rank 1 both killer and survivor and about the same amount of hours as you plus a 500 hrs extra.
But if you have 3k hours and still can't escape, than that is really a you issue and has nothing to do with the game.
Like I said, escape about 90% of the time.
I very rarely use items (medkit at best unless for a tombe challenge), i run a no mither build without iron will or I run no perks and no items, and yet I still escape as a solo

Well, escape rate is 25%, and every one in this killers' forum say that SWF always escape. Also, every killer in this forum always escape because is so easy, so solo survs main never escape
Well if solo survivor mains never escape than that means you haven't learn anything yet appearantly.
Cause if you main survivor than you should be able to escape way more often instead of never.
I play both sides, so i main neither side and yet I escape so much.
So personally I would say record your gameplay and watch it back.
Look at the reasons why you died, why you went down.
There's always a reason why anyone goes down especially when it is fast.
Happens to me to and I just analyse my own gameplay on the fly and see what I could have done differently and adapt myself.
I have games where I go down to fast for my own standards and when I identify why that is, the next chase is very very long.
-
@valvarez4 said:
Pleas devs, stop nerfing survs, I beg you. It's almost impossible to escape as solo surv.
Are you serious or are you joking?
I always play solo survivor and my escape rate is about 90% and I don't play for escaping but for chases.
So personally I wouldn't say it is almost impossible tbh.
It's just a matter of knowing how to loop en when to use a pallet and when not.
Just a simple example from what I see a lot of survivors do.
The get hit near a pallet and the stop their sprint burst they get from the hit and drop the pallet.
Instead of doing that, use the sprint burst to gain distance and get to another loop.
It will waist a killers time and if you play it right, they even let you go because they spend to much time π
Again, it's just a little example nothing more.
But escaping is very good possible and pretty easy imo

You consider map generations like this one "balanced" ?
Not a single obstacle to hide from the killer, not a single pallet, wall or anything. This is about 20 % of the map, to the back it looks identical.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/Z59ACIECRDCC/20201203132726-1.jpg
Sorry mate but there is nothing to say from a screenshot.
You could have just made a screenshot so it would seem like there is nothing, but if you turn left or right there is plenty.
Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying you did or didn't do that.
I have played on a couple of gas haven maps and actually haven't seen a problem tbh.
I played of wrecker yard and that 3 gen map and actually haven't seen anything wrong with it.
So maybe you were just unlucky with the rng or something or you just need to get used to it and see the opportunities when trying to looping.

Your English is great! But if you're curious: It's a type of argument. A bad/unfair one, where instead of actually discussing the argument fairly, you take their points out of context, strip them down into something that is more easily argued against, and then argue against THOSE much more vulnerable points instead of the ones they're actually trying to make.
That is because this post from the op is just a whining post.
As soon as a map get a more balanced rework people like him/her immediately start whining even if they only played on it once.
If a strong killer is released they immediately head to the forums to whine about how broken the new killer is even though they still need to learn how to counter that killer.
Not talking about the twins btw.
About ormond, you just like everyone else who plays dbd, know how broken that map was.
It was literally safe pallet into safe pallet into safe pallet, and so on.
If you win as killer on old Ormond that that was mostly because of the survivors messing up.
The new ormond is way more balanced.
You just need to relearn that map again.
I still haven't been in the main building, but from what I hear is that it is really strong.
Outside you can still loop easily, it's a matter of chaining different loops together.
The only issue now, what a lot of people appearantly, is that you have to plan your routing.
Even before the rework I was allready looking where pallets were and what kind of loops there were when working on a gen.
And planned my routing way before I was even getting chased.
So like I said, a lot of people allready start complaining after 1 game on the first day.
Just give a few games before making judgements if something is really broken.
I played about 7 matches now on new ormond and escaped 5 of them.
The 2 I didn't, 3 others did.
So if it really is that broken why did so many still escaped?

Is it fair, though? I haven't played it yet so I have no opinion, but the complaints are talking about an empty map with a few unsafe pallets. I've seen screenshots of what appear to be massive dead zones in other posts too.
It is fair indeed.
Tho i played 1 game as survivor, it was fun and was still able to chain a couple of safe and unsafe pallets together.
But there isn't a safe pallet into a safe pallet into a safe pallet into..... Well you get the point π

It was before this update the chase music was gone.
First time I noticed that was when I mistaken doc for trapper.
Couldn't see him well and it was the standard music so never expected it to be doc tho
-
Oh no what am I going to do now?
I don't have a ######### load of pallets anymore and can't mindlessly throw pallets down everytime.
This is so terrible that they made the map more balanced now, cause we don't want that.
We want to be in control and bully the killer all game and letting know how trash they are while we are gods, even though the map was so broken.
But we're not saying that πππ
-
Definitely not bad tbh.
But tbh you can run every build you like with survivor.
But other than the game map you have basically always vaulting spots to use lithe.
My build is inner strength, dead hard, ds and lightweight.
But for me it's more because I love getting chased, and a lot of time I'm getting chased of the hook.
And lightweight can mess with the killers tracking.
As soon as they lose line of sight they have a hard time pin pointing my position and getting more distance.
But yeah your build is good, especially for unhooks if the killer stays to close

Basically this, you have a killer who mixes up the gameplay, but a lot of people only want loopy loop and when that isn't as effective its somehow boring and impossible to counter. Go figure.
Survivor mains are a strange bung of people π
I really enjoy vs spirit, it makes it way more interesting.
It's a matter of mixing up your way of playing, thinking ahead and here i'am playing without iron will and still escape vs her π
I agree with you, they only want easy basic couterplay, if that isn't possible than than the killer is OP or the person playing a killer is a A-hole because they outplayed the survivors π

This is exactly why solo sucks.
No concept of team, it's all me me me. Gotta get my pip, ######### my teammates.
Its a shame, and no wonder killers prefer vs. This, instead of swf that is actually trying to win the game.
I agree, luckily I'm a solo where my team can rely on.
Unfortunately I get match with a lot who can't, so you will get better relying on yourself.
And tbh i don't think solo sucks if you can hold your own, i never play to escape and will sacrifice myself for a teammate if he/she can get out.
I challenge myself often to get to rank 1 without perks, with a no mither build without iron will.
It also depands if I bring a med kit on what build I have.
But it's always a gray medkit, other items I don't even use

You're joking right? Why should I stay in the match when my opponent don't play by fair sports? I want to play a video game and have fun and not playing a Bullying simulator
Look it from a killers perspective?
Why if all gens are done, survivors decide to stay in the match to keep tbagging and bully the killer instead of leaving?
And when he decide to dc, you'll be complaining what a baby killer he is and he should uninstall, etc.
You might play fair and nice, but that change that other do.
So yeah you can expect things like this once in a while from killers
-
@DanielPaint said:
So... Just played a match, I'm the last survivor and get downed. Then I don't get picked up and get teabaged from the pig. I wait for 30 seconds and nothing changes. How about changing stuff like this, that you don't have to dc?!
Tbh I don't understand your complain.
You decided to dc and complain about a penalty?
It was your decision to dc so you can expect a ban, you know it is implemented and still you chose for that option the fault is yours and yours alone.
Killers have to face tagging survivors a lot of the matches, so you can expect it to happen from a killer too sometimes.
Yes it sucks to be left on the ground but just sit it out, it's only a few minutes.
Do the same as me, just go to the toilet, get something to drink and by the time you get back the match is over.

π€ A stealth killer that relies on stealth? π¬

The key difference is that Killers are not prevented from playing the game while Survivors do their only objective. And I'd say for a video game, that's a pretty big deal.
"Genrushing does prevent the killer from playing the game because by the time he gets one hook three gens are done and there's no way he can win unless the survivors get too cocky " <--- This is not a logical argument. Killers are still free to move around and "not winning" is not the same as "not being able to play".
Bottom line is, when a survivor is tunneled/facecamped they can't do anything
If a Killer is "genrushed", they're still free to attempt to turn the game around apply pressure, chase a survivor and do killer gameplay things.
thus, they are not the same and should not be compared as equally negative experiences. Also keep in mind Survivors ONLY have gens to do, while a Killer is not forced to only hook/camp ONE person. Very different!
Not entirely agree with you on the last part tho.
Survivors still have the options to do bones, to sabotage, to heal.
Sure they are minor things but they are still objectives.
And most of the survivors that whine about noed are the once who love to rush the gens.
Don't get me wrong, I do hate noed to and have never used it.
Even skipped the rift challenge for noed, because I hate it.
But yeah back on topic, as frustrating as tunneling and camping is for survivor, gen rush is for the killer
-
@DwightFairfield said:
They're things that a killer can do, but they shouldn't be viable nor should they be promoted as playstyles to such an extent that perks need to be designed to counter them. It's aggravating and practically uncounterable because eventually you are going to die and you can not do anything about it. I'm not saying they should be bannable offenses but they should at least be frowned upon enough for Behaviour to do something, anything really, to fix the issue.
Agree they are not viable against good survivors who knows what to do in that kinda situation.
Yet, if they are over altruistic it will hurt them most of the time.
If i see a killer camp/facecamp I just go do gens and bones, same when they tunnel someone.
If they tunnel me, by all means cause I love getting chased.
I never care for escaping cause other than a few extra bloodpoints it doesn't give you any rewards.
I can't even care if I'm being camped to death on my first hook to, as long as the rest are doing what they need to do.
Best way to reduce the camping and tunneling is to reward fresh hooks in some way.
That way they go for more chases and more hooks.
The only reason I don't go after the same person, is because I want more different chases as that is more fun for me and for the survivors (eventhough they sometimes don't deserve it).
The only time I actually camp is during egc

Mine would be Blight as I have pretty much never lost to him and it's very rare I win as him.
I get mostly a 3 or 4k with Blight, and have fun playing as him.
And as someone mention bubba or pig, I barely see them and when i do I escape most of the time.
I think spirit is an overrated killer.
Yes she is strong, but not as strong as about 90% says.
Whenever I play against her I escape almost every single time, just as long as you know her weaknesses.
And i get to hear it a lot, but no i don't always vs bad spirits.
Sure there are some but not that much, and I actually never use iron will either.
It's just a matter of knowing what to do and when to do it.

Just had several matches in a row where the killer seemed AfK, only to turn out they had noed (and bloodwarden in two cases).
The moment the gates were open they became active, and while noed was out of the equation (I do go around for bones), bloodwarden wasn't.
After the first match with bloodwarden which ended in a 4k I decided to make a run for it the moment the gate was open... (it still ended in a 3k the other time BW was on, and 2k in another)
All because people just didn't leave.
Look, I know you want the BP, that's fair, but then you don't have a right to complain, no matter what an utter douchcanoe technique the killer displayed.
So, please, when you find yourself in a match with an AFK-killer, do bones and book it the moment the gates are open.

Can't believe people still fall for this π

watch w/o sound, since it doesn't really matter here.
It's old dbd prebloodlust gameplay, aka why 4.4 killers w/o bloodlust sucked ass.
EDIT: For those who are too lazy to watch - Hag being countered by holding W.
Here you got a more recent gameplay from me playing wraith.
I've been told he depands on bloodlust appearantly.
This is on ps4 and against swf.
You can't compare old gameplay with new gameplay as there has been changed a lot.
I've played several killer games this weekend and mainly resulted in 4k with only a few exceptions.
Most problem, especially during weekends, is that there are a lot of swf which is understandable.
The problem with that is they love to rush the gens as fast as they can, and make builds around that.
Like prove thy self, resilience, etc with toolboxes.
That is what hurts a killer more than removing bloodlust.
Personally I think they should have done this for 1 full week as you get a better and more accurate reading.

Yes. I understand what you are saying. I'm just disagreeing because people seem to be assuming too much with BL3 in mind and with 2 hits as well. If you think about a killer like wraith or Legion that are M1 killers and supposedly more affected by lost of BL and look at the best loops in the game you will notice you will be forced to break chase when if you had BL 1 you could get them. Even if it's not much faster a little difference is difference enough (think when you got the person next to the gen and got 1 hit, then he went to a safe zone, now if you down them, 15 more is good enough).
Same thing happens for "play with your food" and similar effects. Time is of the essense for killer, thus, everything that shaves away time from killers affects them whether people want to recognize it or dont, claiming they never use BL. As an example, everyone can watch the tutorial from Scott Jund "Running tiles as a killer" (I watched many times before) and at the end, after breaking 2 pallets he enters BL 1 to catch up in one of the best loops of the game, one that never changed in the so called ballances of breakable walls.
Other than that I dont think some of those ballances are good as well. The ones with clear always opened doors, sure. Still think they are not good because some of them destroyed the loop altogether, but ok... others add a second layer of pallet as to say: "if you want to run this loop properly you are forced to break this", so it's more time shaved away and possibly one lost chase. It's better than not having them, but they don't seem like the best idea around.
One way or the other it will be more time shaved from killers. Could be simply to the players with lower skills? Sure, it could be. I don't think it is, but even assuming it is, it still affect them and that's a valid reason to oppose the change so far as I see it.

It's funny you mantioned wraith as the video I posted here was with wraith.
And you can clearly see I still get a 4k with him, and that was with bloodlust removed.
I played wraith a lot and never have I relied on bloodlust, not bloodlust 1, 2 or 3.
If you rely on bloodlust with wraith, than you're not using his powers properly.
Hell if they took away bloodlust without saying it, i wouldn't ever notice it.
I only know judd from name and never watched anything from him, but by the sounds of it, he spends to much time chasing 1 survivor.
Now I'm not saying he's terrible or anything or that I'm better than him.
But again it sounds as he relies on bloodlust to catch survivor.
Again I might be wrong here, I never seen any gameplay from him so I don't know his playstyle or skill level.
Yes some breakable walls should never be there, I don't understand why the devs ever put in these things at certain points.
Cause yeah i agree time is important for the killer and yes killers get imo more nerfs than buffs.
Btw the only best breakable walls are the 2 closed doors on badham in the school.
I'm very pleased they closed these 2 doors cause that makes it stronger for the killer, so you need to keep them closed at all times.
Also breaking chases at strong loops is something I allready said.
Identify them and leave them untill you are certain you're gonna catch them and have a bit more time to spend.
You can see it in my vid where I leave claudette till near the end, she knows it is an infinite loop if the pallet goes down and I don't break it.
At that point she's very confident untill I break the pallet and you can she that she runs into nothing.
Like I said before and there is a lot of proof in my vids, I don't rely on bloodlust with any killer.
And i play ever single killer, no matter how difficult they are on console

Well imo... sorry. I don't think the same way you do. It's not always a mistake to leave a pallet as a killer, specially if you had Blood lust, without BL as I mentioned before, you will be forced to break more pallets.
First, you dont break pallets that are unsafe and you can mindgame. I know you know that, but you said "it's a mistake" in a broad stroak maybe bc of the heat of the argument or bc you didnt remember it.
Sometimes is much more benefitial to break a pallet, sometimes it's not. Sometimes you can fake breaking a pallet and move on to catch the person using BL or even without. The time you waste breaking they will be further away from you. As such, is not always benefitial to break a pallet, period.
That is what I was talking about. Sure, you can break it afterwards, but that was what I meant by not breaking them. I was talking about the chase, not afterwards.
Well that is your opinion which I respect.
But you focus to much on bloodlust that you start relying on it.
Which was a plaster fix to make up for an imbalance and many strong loops there were.
Yes there is still an unbalance between survivor and killer.
But the loops are shorter and unsafe, again not all there are still strong ones.
About being beneficial of breaking pallets.
That is exactly what I said, does a survivor move away from a safe pallet?
You don't break it.
Does he stay at a safe pallet?
Break it.
If there is bloodlust and as killer you have it?
I throw a pallet down especially if it is a safe pallet, and I will force you to break it.
Cause i won't move away from it untill I see you starting the animation.
So you can have bloodlust 3 and i make sure there is little chance I take a hit.
You managed to hit?
I get a sprint burst to a next loop an you lose your bloodlust.
But doing so, relying heavily on bloodlust, means you are allready in a losing situation and spend way to much time on 1 survivor.
And remember it is a 1v4 game, unless you camp and rely on over altruistic survivors or noed.
Some killers do that and that is their choice.
Again, I play both sides as rank 1 and whenever I play killer I seriously only hit bloodlust very rarely.
Even when I hit bloodlust it is very very short, whether I down or hit the survivor or because I break the pallet.
I never rely on bloodlust to get a survivor, but trying to force them in mistakes which they often do.
Now I really don't blame you if you do rely heavily on bloodlust, but you must remember that it was only a forced option because of the amount of safe loops and the huge amount of pallets on the map.
Which has all been tumbed down in size and amount.
That is on reworked maps ofcourse, but pallets are less than there were even on none reworked maps.
Again this is my opinion about bloodlust as I might have a different playstyle, maybe more optimal who knows, than you have.
And there is nothing wrong with that.
Whether or not you agree with me i respect your opinion, but i think it has more to do with your playstyle than actually having bloodlust or not

What you are actually not thinking is that there are several other options to what you are mentioning.
First thing you should think is that not everything you imagine happen and second is that the fact that bloodlust is there, one way or the other, force the survivor to think in more than a simple decision. In the current system, without BL, if you find a safe loop there is no decision, you just stay on it forever and keep roling over the pallet at the right time. Fake going over and keep going around. With BL you are forced to use other loops and use loops as a set and to force killer to break pallets otherwise they will catch up.
Another thing is that bc killers will be forced to break more pallets the game will be overwhelmingly easier on safer zones bc they will be forced to break chase multiple times more than usual if they hope to win the game. So a chase that otherwise they would continue you will start, reach a 2,3 set of pallets and bye bye killer. That will always happen, without BL will happen much more.
If you recognize survivor as a walk in the park it doesnt make sense to make it easier, on the contrary. I dont think it's a walk in the park particularly, but it still has a much lower skill ceiling than killer and it's fairly easier than killer.
Well imo if you get bloodlust at a pallet loop than that is a safe loop for survivors and you should have broken the pallet.
And since you get bloodlust there, you spent way to much time trying to force the survivor making a mistake or miss read your intentions.
As I said in the vid I posted here, there is a loop where a claudette is healing.
She knows as well as I do that that is a safe loop for her.
When she drops the pallet and i decide not to break it, it will create an infinite loop no matter if you have bloodlust 1 or 3 you will never get her there without breaking the pallet.
You see me even walk away from it and only go for it once I had sacrificed 1 or 2 of her friends.
If you leave to many pallets down than that is a mistake on you as killer.
Remember what pallets are thrown down and as soon as you hooked the survivor, break it.
Leaving safe pallet down in the map is a stupid thing to do.
Sure during a chase, if a survivor runs away from aa safe pallet then don't break it and go for the down.
But after you hooked that one, go and break it.
As for playing survivor, yes for me it is very easy.
I played survivor after the old rank reset and the new one with no perks or a no mither build without iron will and reached rank 1 every time.
And yes I agree, it makes no sense to make it even easier.
But, as I said before, you can check out all of my vids and you will see I rarely get bloodlust.
And even if I did than it was for about a sec or so, maybe 2.
Also the loops get shorter and unsafer after reworks, tho i must admit that there are still some strong loops, but not as many as there were.

But Iβm saying if you go around a pallet instead of breaking then the survivor has more time to get to the other pallet or loop. There is no such a thing as one side impacted negatively then the otherside donβt enjoy the benefit.
If the killer decides to not break the pallet and go around than that is up to him.
You can do that only in certain situations.
1. if the sur decide to keep running away even though the pallet loop is safe.
Than as killer you go around to catch up, and you will in that situation.
2. If it is an unsafe pallet loop.
For example on haddonsfield there is a pallet between a car and a tree.
When that pallet is dropped and the survivor decide to stay there, you will get him without bloodlust.
Just run around the tree and you'll catch up and the survivor has to make a decision which will never be in his favour.
As I said you need to identify what loops you can brute force and which you need to leave untill later.
Also as killer identity which survivor is the weakest and capitalise on that.
Get rid of him/her and make it harder for the rest.
Or leave him on the ground and you have 2 survivors not doing gens.
Chase another one and only 1 survivor is doing gens.
Best way to play this game is to play both sides and you will get better as you see both perspectives.
As survivor you will get better at looping and as killer you will understand which loops are strong and which weak.
Meaning you get to know what to do at each loop and how to counter it.
Like I said before, I play both sides and yes, survivor side is a walk in the park.
But as killer play smart and you'll see you won't need bloodlust that badly.
Beside, right now it is just a test.
Are there bigger problems than removing bloodlust?
Yes definitely.
For example, they should find a way to implement a good mmr system so people of the same skill level are matched with eachother.

People forget you are playing on ps4. Since bloodlust gone, if killers make a mistake they are screwed.... Many people say that bloodlust carries bad killers, how about bad survivors who just drop pallet and run... isnβt it easier for them now?
Well actually no, it stays the same for them tbh.
All it did when dropping pallets was getting rid of bloodlust.
So it will most likely stay the same for them and not getting easier.
Other than running in a straith line in the open vs a 110% killer π
I play on ps4 as well and you just need to identify which loops you need no leave and which you need to brute force

To all of you saying he wasnt perfect and thats why he failed thats the exact reason why blood lust is necessary no one should have to chase a loop so ######### perfect just to get a hit. there needs to be room for error especially because the whole point of blood lust was to close the gap to give killers that wiggle room and the survivors had plenty of ways to stop blood lust build up if you think its not something that should be in the game you might be try harding to much or just in general being sweaty. And i bet ill be told im to casual but i just want to enjoy the game not get ######### stuck in fifty different chases because i have to wait for a survivor to ######### up a loop or pallet just to get a single hit in on ONE of the FOUR survivors.
Tbh he did make a lot of mistakes on his end.
I don't know what rank he is, but seeing his gameplay shows me he just have to learn what to do at certain loops loops.
When to use his ability and when to go for a basic attack and when to drop a chase and move on.
Sure there are some killers that would need bl but demo definitely isn't one of them.
I posted a vid of me playing wraith and with no bl in this thread against a swf group.
I can assure you that I was not sweaty or try harding at all and they were good survivors.
Not once needed is bloodlust, which you can also see in older vids that a rarely hit bloodlust with any killer.

Playing Killer on console looks very painful.
Nah it is not that bad tbh.
I've played both sides against pc and didn't have that much trouble.
It's a matter of adjustment honestly.
Tho pc might be able to turn smoother but other than that it's about the same

Ez to counter perk. Besides that, I see a lot of people starting to panic and laugh randomly when they run into it.
Even had some games as afk endgame Wraith with NOED + BW to jumpscare with out of nowhere OP pressure. A team was finally running with all 4 towards the gate, 2 of them dead harding into the warden and dying to EGC there. In chat we were all laughing together.
So to sum up: it is just your opinion
lol I've seen these things a couple of times with bubba and myers too.
Still can't believe survivors fall for that lol.
They run towards the "afk" killer and starting 't bagging and #########.
I'm always hell no I'm oita here and then spectate to see them fail π

This is one of the weirdest survivor complaints I've ever seen.
The last time bloodwarden proc'd against me was in 2018 lol
Ah some killers still run it tho.
I had a game vs freddy 2 days ago where I was hooked while they pre opened the exits before I was even there.
I got hooked close to the gate and got unhooked, so you guessed it and ran straight to the exit.
Only to find it blocked off π
Absolutely did not expect it.
Used ds there as dh failed me as usual, ran around a bit till it was gone but he got me before I could escape.
Luckily he forgot the hook where he hooked me the first time and was just able to wiggle of and escape with only 1 sec left.
Have to admit, it was tens for moment but fun nonetheless.
The moment I ran there after the unhook and my thoughts were "well #########, we're not getting out anymore" and just laughed
-
lol yeah this loops are #########.
I remember before coal tower was reworked.
I was playing hag and next to the tower there was a jungle gym leading into a V shaped loop and opposite of that was another mirrored V shape loop, and that was leading into a TL loop π€¦ββοΈ
I went against a 4 man swf and you can guess it, they abused the hell out of it.
At that point I couldn't give a rats ass any more and let them just do the gens and let them escape

@Foohy said:
Lol stirred up quite the crowd.
I never said it was OP, the conditions are very specific and not necessarily easy to accomplish, but you can plan ahead and just slug someone and wait for the exit gates to open.
And the "just exit before he hooks hurr durr", don't you dare tell me you go into every game and take into consideration that the killer might have Blood Warden, and don't you dare tell me that when the exit gates open you all just leave immediately every single time because you think the killer might have Blood Warden.
The perk is underwhelming on open maps as you can just hide somewhere, but on closed maps like Midwich and Hawkins it can be game over for the unsuspecting survivors because of how closed up and isolated from the rest of the map the exit gates are with very few options to actually go to before the killer gets to you.
Again not OP, just a lame and anti-fun perk for people who get bullied a lot.
Well tbh i always 99 the doors, if someone doesn't do it I always hate it but accept it.
Also whenever I play survivor I look at what perks the killer has.
I just keep count of the perks I notice during the match.
Whenever I miss 1 perk I always keep in count they have noed or blood warden.
Also you can almost every time look at the playstyle.
Killers that run noed and/or blood warden have a not optimal playstyle because they rely on 1 of those or both of those perks.
Hell if i get stopped by blood warden, i can only laugh and appreciate that person managed to throw me off π
So an unfun perk?
Not even in the slightest.
