Great then. I was gonna miss the icons they have.

Still dont know why would they change the names tho, im pretty sure netflix doesnt own the rights the to wrd Babysitter.

No. They're going to be made generic. You don't get to keep the icons/names.

Can't share it here but I'm pretty sure there was a leak that showcases the changed icons and names.

iirc we are supposed to be getting a reward system eventually but then again, bhvr also said that they will be reworking daily rituals, and doing console optimization, and much more

At this point I just don't think BHVR will follow up on any of their promises.

I mean what's the point of going to their livestreams anymore?

I almost want to say 3 Pops wouldn't be that strong. You still have the long cooldown of Oppression, and to get decent value out of it you'd have to hit exactly 3 gens that are 25+% which is unlikely. Plus, the killer has to be constantly downing people to use Pop, which good survivors simply won't allow to happen.

You know that Pop is already meta for a reason right?

Making a 25% regression apply to other random generators around the map would make it a MUST HAVE.

  • I think we can blame BHVR to an extent. Because this game does allow it's players to be worse toxic bullies than any other game as far as I can tell.

TF2 is notorious for having an unfiltered playerbase, but I can fix that by just muting the people who are bothering me in voice chat or just not use chat if I have the option to. Nothing in the game allows you to really do anything that bad except the occassional teabag, and even then, it's not as humiliating or demoralizing as it is in DBD.

I guess I never really cared for these kinds of people anyway. If they really need to let out their pent up aggression in a video game on someone completely innocent who just wants to play a game, then I already kinda assume you're an ######### and I don't particularly care for it.

No one calls another person a slur and isn't ######### in the head over a ######### video game.

No one creates a macro for their flashlight if not for the express purpose of annoying the Killer and tilting them.

No one goes out of their way to tunnel and ruin a survivor's game if it meant throwing the match if they didn't want them to suffer playing this game.

  • @Phasmamain said:

Most the new maps have been pretty garbage tbh so I’d rather they focus on balancing the current roster

Please. I've been begging for this with corn maps.

I ######### hate that realm so much as either side. They didn't do anything to fix or balance ######### when they remastered corn maps. They just made the problem worse with a new coat of paint.

  • Probably would yeah.

Imagine stacking Pop with 3 other generators.

    That would be gamechangingly broken.

  • I will just say that I had the funniest thing happened when I was playing Killer and streaming it to my girlfriend over at Discord.

I talked about how there's this bug where you will get feedback you hit a survivor but the server denies it, making it seem like you didn't hit at all. And the very next second after that, I got hit validated.

Like ######### clockwork. If to a new player (because she is rather new to this game) that looks wrong and bullshit, how does it feel to someone who has played thousands of hours in this game?

I get it, I hated getting hit by the Killer after stunning him. But as I said mutiple times, this is just the same problem, but thrown to the Killer side. It's no coincidence that the complaints started to become more about how much it sucks to feel Hit Validated rather than being hit through Pallets.

Usually the advice for not getting hit through pallets is to not greed the pallets, and that's usually good advice anyways since as a Survivor you'd want to minimize risk while maintaining a surplus of pallets to use on the map.

But what can Killers realistiaclly do in this situation? Just assume that the Survivor already dropped a pallet a couple of miliseconds before it happened? They're not mindreaders. In a chase, the Survivor chooses where to go. That's the point of the chase. The Killer has no control on which building and loop you choose. They can force you one way or another. But they cannot force you to go exactly where they want all the time.

Like I said though, if the instant feedback is gone. I assure you that all of those threads complaining about hit validation will disappear overnight. Because people won't feel robbed.

Instead, they'll just feel like pallets are wider than normal. But that will just go away since people can get used to wider pallets, they won't ever get used to feeling denied of a hit.

Ah so why did it matter when survivors saw themselves getting hit through pallets? It hit on the killer's end according to the servers. Someone's starting to show bias

    Like I said before.

All of this is doing is just throwing the problem onto the other side rather than actually fixing it.

If they were to actually fix it, Survivors wouldn't feel cheated out of being hit, and Killers wouldn't feel cheated OUT of a hit. The fact it's still happening shows it's still a problem

  • Honestly I would be fine with this if there was no false feedback.

I'm fine with getting stunned at a pallet.

But hitting, hearing it hit, seeing blood, hearing the survivor scream, and THEN see that I didn't down the survivor is genuinely annoying.

I cannot see into the future or see what the server sees, I can only see what I see as a Killer. It genuinely just feels like it throws the problem onto the other side rather than actually fixing the issue.

Back then Survivors saw the Killer get stunned and then get hit. Now the Killer saw a hit but gets stunned instead. It's a complete reversal of the situation. If it just shows that you get stunned as a killer and *that's it* I'd be fine with it. But nothing is more frustrating than seeing you get instant feedback only to be met with a double middle finger by the game.

  • I used to have this dream where I would get chased by the original three killers.

I had a dream where I was chased by the Wraith and it felt like he kept pulling me towards him no matter how hard I was trying to run.

I had another dream where I was in the woods and I stepped into a bear trap. Just out of nowhere, the ######### Trapper whacked me in the face and I woke up. Yeah, that was fun.

There was also a nightmare I had where I felt Billy constantly chainsawing my back.

i hate midwich and rpd as killer, hawkins being hit or miss depending on who im playing, and lerys is an "i dont mind" as killer but survivor i dislike all of them.

i just want to be able to see grass but the game dictates i must stay indoors :(

Can I have your luck? I always seem to get corn maps and swamp maps. The two map types I absolutely despise.

  • I wish I got Hawkins or RCPD as Survivor.

Don't feel like burning an offering everytime I want to go to those maps.

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

They are just, incredibly frustrating. For both sides.

As survivor? They're everywhere. You blink and suddenly you're surrounded, they never seem to get bugged, and can track you from across the entire map to forever pester you.

As killer? They spawn in, 3 seconds later they're making out with a rock.

His entire form of map pressure is RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG on top of spaghetti and it really pisses me off.

To me they're mostly mutation fodder. They never really hit survivors or annoy them enough in any meaningful way imo.

I just don’t take the game seriously. Solo queue is fun for the randomness of it and killer is fun since I don’t care about 4king

Honestly I think not caring is the best way to enjoy DBD.

My girlfriend sometimes has a hard time playing the game because it can frustrate her, but I just stopped caring about how it is for both sides.

  • @Shaped said:

You don't. One of the biggest appeals of this game is how unfun it is.

Joking. Game can definitely be fun but also unfun at times. For me fun is when I had interesting game where both sides kinda had a chance to score some points. Ocasionally a meme game or two can be fun too.

Oh my god you just reminded me of a game I had.

I was playing with my girlfriend and we got Myers on Ormond.

He started out playing normally but out of nowhere he just started serving us drinks in the counter in the main building. We both laughed out loud when it happened.

You gotta love those random moments when both sides are memeing.

Please, I beg you, make his Frenzy faster. He'll still be garbage but it'll help.

It would make his Frenzy actually ######### useful for map traversal too.

Since Legion other than using his power once is just a basic M1 Killer, at least give him SOME mobility.

  • I genuinely think Dead Man's Switch is worse than an empty perk slot.

Congratulations, you stopped ONE generator from being worked on. Because it usually almost always just one generator. Not what are you going to do?

  • Most likely we haven't had a Survivor/Killer that has powers/lore reasons for having them.

Who knows? With a new Survivor with boon totems, that might change. Since we are literally using dulls for perks as survivor now.

  • Evil lncarnate can go ######### itself.

  • Dwight players are either the biggest newbies in the lobby or the biggest loopers and chad of the team. There's no inbetween. Either the Dwight is so incompetent or they literally do not fear Death if it's staring right at them.

Megs are called Megheads for a reason. They're practically useless in most circumstances, barely able to even do skillchecks and always alerting the killer to your location. If not that, they will most likely sandbag you to be able to escape from the Killer only to step on that trap the Trapper set a lifetime ago.

Claudette mains always acts as selfishly as possible. Either by being a P3 Immersed ######### with a key and a hatch offering, or by constantly pushing the Killer onto other survivors (so she can use her aforementioned key faster). Claudette with brighter outfits tend to be more chill though. Except that prom dress outfit, anyone who wears that is almost always a #########.

Jake mains hate DBD. Jake mains hate playing DBD. Yet they keep playing it anyways. No one who is a Jake main enjoys DBD. Don't even try to deny that.

Nea mains are either two breeds. Tries to be toxic and gets the killer's attention, only to go down in 5 seconds. Or actually being toxic to the point where they keep a list of every Killer that has "wronged" them and constantly talk ######### on their Steam Profile about them. I don't understand why it's Nea, but :shrugs:

Laurie is either the most terrifying survivor on the team or the first to die. Like Dwight, it can't be anything in between. It's always either the most competent or least competent.

Ace mains just don't care. They'll do everything from taunting the Killer to being the biggest memester on the team. Maybe it's the fact that they are playing Ace that gives them a weird amount of confidence in themselves, but I've never not seen an Ace main not take a risk for other survivors. Even going as far as taking chase on ######### death hook.

Bill mains are usually new to the game and will most likely die before a single gen gets popped. Leaving his team for dead on 5 gens.

Fengs will just ragequit and DC at every opportunity. It doesn't matter what you do to them, if they aren't winning, they're DCing. They probably have gotten a 24 hour DC penalty before at one point in their game sessions.

David mains are either the biggest altruistic players of all time or the biggest idiots of all time with a skull thicker than the punches he gives. If you're in the basement, guaranteed a David will come save you. Now whether or not he has BT depends on whether or not he thinks bringing WGLF is more important than bringing BT.

Quentin players (at least before they reworked his face) are terrifying. Now you don't see Quentin players anymore.

    Tapp mains don't exist.

Kate mains are all the biggest bitches in the entire community. Not just in-game, but in the forums, the subreddits. They love to complain about every single thing that annoys them in the game. Even if Kate's boobs don't jiggle as much as they want.

    Adam mains also don't exist.

    Neither do Jeff mains.

Jane mains are the biggest morons in DBD because they think they need to keep getting Head On plays all the time even if it means throwing the entire game for it.

Ash mains are those players who wants to keep using Old MOM when it was busted and tries to make it work all game only for it to work in the most unspectacular of ways.

Nancy mains can't be trusted. Both Killers and Survivors hate them. You'd rather see them on a hook than working on a generator.

Steve mains on the other hands are pure chads. They just exude giga-altruistic energy and are actually good at the game.

Yui tries to be altruistic but always falls flat on her face and cost her team the game.

Zarina mains tend to play by their lonesome and only help her teammates when absolutely necessary. I would know, I main her.

Cheryl mains are either the biggest sweethearts in a team or the biggest #########.

Felix mains tries to keep telling other people that he is a big deal but always ends up falling short of expectations.

Elodie mains only exist because of her skins.

Yun-Jin mains really hate themselves as well as others.

Jill mains will ALWAYS try to get a blast mine to work. Even with Ruin.

Leon mains saw Flashbang plays and wants to do it themselves but always screws up the timing.

I'd do killers but this list is already long enough

  • I only ever breath a sigh of relief when I got the last hook on Killer and I actually escaped as Survivor.

Even if I am stomping or steamrolling as either side, I know they can EASILY turn the tides against me if they want to and are capable to. I have to keep the pressure up to make sure I get my 4 kills or escape.

So like @Huge_Bush said. It's not over until the score screen is up.

  • I think what he needs most is an add-on pass. Because right now it all focuses on his zombies, and with his zombies AI being utterly #########... There is little reason to run them if the results are the same anyways.

I think if the zombie's AI is a lot better (having proper navmeshes so they can go around the map without bumping into things), it still would justify Nemesis having more add-ons centered around his tentacle whip instead of just the zombies.

Also yes, remove the sprint burst from the first tentacle hit. You're already stunned when hitting the Survivor anyways.

    @DelsKibara

I'm curious, how in the heck does Dead Hard change the way a killer plays? Does it have a passive effect we don't know about? lol

I literally tilt my head upward when playing killer when I'm right up their behind to bait out Dead Hard, meanwhile I see the baby Meg pauses for a second when she is about to go down only to sprint away.

What would you do if Dead Hard wasn't a thing? You'd immediately hit the Survivor no questions asked. Just the moment an opening is there, you'd lunge forward and whack the Survivor.

It's something you always have to keep in mind even if Dead Hard wasn't in play. You have to waste a second or two to bait the Dead Hard, and I don't think I need to tell you that a second is a lot more impactful than you think when it comes to a chase. It could be a second to reach a window, to reach a pallet, to escape in a safe zone.

Not to mention that it gives you distance which can further elongate a chase that could be 10-15 seconds long to over 40 if they get into a good tile. Dead Hard allows you to be GREEDY. It allows you to take risks while mitigating it. It changes how the Killer plays by giving the Survivor a second's grace period which can be crucial with dodging a hit.

Tell me, even with how inconsistent Dead Hard can be, how many times as a ranged Killer have you been screwed over by Dead Hard? Because I've personally been screwed by someone pressing E from a distance multiple times.

When you see someone have Sprint Burst, you can just leave them be or catch them again when they don't have it. Sprint Burst literally is signalling to the Killer that you can be downed immediately without hesitation. They know for certain you can't just Press E to get I-Frames and go for distance.

Yes, you can 99 them. I've said this before in the thread. But 99ing an Exhaustion Perk is never as viable or consistent as keeping your Dead Hard. You cannot keep them 99ed when doing a gen, you cannot keep them 99ed when positioning yourself to go for a flashlight/pallet save. You HAVE to use it at that moment. But you can do the same thing with Dead Hard, but without all of that hassle weighing you down.

Dead Hard doesn't carry bad survivors. Bad survivors will ALWAYS struggle even with all the meta perks carrying them. But Dead Hard on a good survivor can extend a chase way more than you need. A good survivor can keep a chase going even while injured. A better survivor can do it without getting injured.

I get that you think it's overrated because you can just "bait out the Dead Hard", but there's a reason that everyone runs this perk and why it performs leagues above the rest. That isn't a coincidence. People gravitate towards the options that gives them the biggest advantages. And Dead Hard is one of them.

  • @Raccoon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2458045#Comment_2458045

I find it really bizarre that you're claiming it is inconsistent, despite so many survivors consistently picking it each game - If the perk, when used properly, was as inconsistent as you claim, it would not be as popular or useful as it is.

Really the only time it's inconsistent for me is when i desperately need to dodge a hit in the middle of a dead zone.

I do remember a lot of times when I was exhausted on the ground. But that is an exception to the rule. You use Dead Hard for distance, the I-Frames basically helps secure you getting there.

Again, the very fact this perk exists changes how Killers play. I don't understand why OP thinks it's overrated if it changes how the game is played by the very existence of it. Like DS and BT.

  • @thefallenloser said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2457829#Comment_2457829

Dead Hard is not the best exhaustion perk simply because it's inconsistent at best and completely useless at it's worst. Sprint Burst denies the possibility of chases on some survivors completely.

Did you.. Not read my comment?

The very existence of Dead Hard changes how a Killer plays. And using it for distance can extend a loop far more than Sprint Burst could. You want to waste the Killer's time, not escape from them before you could.

    • BBQ and Chili
    • Infectious Fright
    • STBFL
    • Devour Hope
    • Pop Goes the Weasel
    • Coup De Grace

    And that's about it.

I don't really have strong feelings for any other perk. There are strong perks but sometimes it's more about feeling like I need to use them to win rather than using them because I think they're neat

  • I just wanna comment as someone who only runs Dead Hard and nothing else.

I do think it is overhated, but it's far from being overrated.

Dead Hard is by far the strongest exhaustion perk in the game. If it works.

Sprint Burst, Balanced Landing, and Smash Hit all have two problems that Dead Hard doens't have.

Dead Hard is on demand. You cannot control when you want to use the other three. You can make an argument with Sprint Burst and 99ing it, but that is needlessly unnecessary when Dead Hard allows you to keep it and only Press E when you want to use it.

Dead Hard has i-Frames. And that's important. Because not only can it be used for distance. It can act as a third health state. This is something I always keep in mind as Killer. The very mere existence of this perk makes me less willing to hit Survivors from far away until I know they have some other exhaustion perk other than Dead Hard. It's the same effect as Decisive Strike and BT. The very existence of these perks makes Killers more hesitant to act recklessly in chase.

It's amongst one of the most powerful perks in the game alongside Decisive Strike and Borrowed Time. And to assume anything else is ignorance.

It is definitely not hard to deal with, but the very fact it exists causes killers to change how they play makes it one of the most powerful perks in the game. So no, I don't think it's overrated.

  • Remember the saying?

"The only good Survivor is a dead one."

As long as you are alive, I won't let you die in Solo Queue.

Either just DC or quit if you want to leave, but I am not letting you ######### on hook if that means saving myself from getting hit once.

You're still of use to me as a teammate until you're dead.

I absolutely despise that event and everything related to it. I hate it almost as much as I hate Freddy's rework and The Realm Beyond, and that is no easy feat.

I guess we just have two different things we want from events.

I like events that aren't intrusive to gameplay, that don't force either side to act like a dick to get event points.

It's not fun getting tunneled out for no reason other than the fact that you got a Lantern.

I do however have fun when it's more of a celebration of the event and we all just get to have fun as we normally do, but with decorations and an extra objective that isn't parasytic to gameplay (Like the anniversary events). I do adore these way more than those other events.

Because getting crowns is an extra side objective that you can go for that doesn't screw you over in your games. Once you get it, you got it. Well you need to escape as Survivor but you get what I mean. No one can really take it away from you when you get it.

  • Very VERY important.

Hearing soft sounds like footsteps or grass can give you a massive advantage as either side.

Knowing exactly where the Killer is coming from if you're on the second floor and they're on the first floor can give you enough time to hide in a place they aren't exactly expecting.

Hearing Survivors who try to sneak behind you as a Killer and catching them before they could react can turn the tides of a game instantly.

And of course, you get to play Spirit.

    The Ultimate Ghost Simulator.

  • @GeneralV said:

It could use a few adjustments, on that we agree, but I still think they are better than ######### Eternal Blight, whatever the hell that ######### was, as it can hardly be called an event.

    I don't really mind that.

I can basically play the game normally, and get free ######### in the background.

The only stress that ever comes from these events are often my teammates being too braindead to do anything.

  • Lots of mixed responses here.

I just want to add my two little grains of useless salt.

I do think NOED as a perk is bad for the overall game health, but with how it can easily be handled by one of several different perks on one survivor, I do think it's fine.

As long as there's a reasonable method of countering it (before it even spawns), it is fine. But no, I don't think it's good for game health.

    • Trapper

Self explanatory, his power is reliant on RNG, it's very easily countered by Survivors who have eyes, and when it works you often can't capitalize on it since they stepped on a bear trap far FAR away from you.

He is the worst aspects of Pig, Wraith, and Hag. He desperately needs a rework, or at least a huge add-on pass and power tweaking to make him a lot less add-on reliant.

    • Freddy

Now hang on. I'm sure some of you think that Freddy is perfectly fine, and is in a "good spot". And I do agree with you, to an extent.

Here's the thing. I am someone who fell in love with Old Freddy and how he plays. Old Freddy was a level of fun that this game rarely ever achieved, even nowadays. I'm not saying bring Old Freddy back, since he had a lot of issues with his power balance and like Legion, tuning him in either direction can make him really broken or really boring.

I do wish there were more ways to mess with Survivors as Freddy, but you have to pull them into your dream world by yourself. No more passive sleeping. Make Pallets basekit, since that is something genuinely fun to mess with Survivors that could be used against them. It's just a shame it's locked behind an add-on (and is trash given pallet spawns in some games).

Creating a pallet loop into existence or making an empty dead zone into an L+T Wall loop to give them a false sense of hope is something that Freddy needs to give him that "I'm the god of this world, #########" vibe.

He needs to be able to feel like a looming threat. That the world and your perception of it can constantly shift and change to fit his desires. To be a plaything in his nightmare.

    • Myers

I mean. Who else do you expect?

Myers is the one Killer the community wholeheartedly agrees needs a change or rework. Purely because of his outdated stalk mechanic and how janky it feels.

The way they did it with Ghostface imo is an evolution of Myers' stalk abilities. Being able to stalk each survivor individually makes more sense from a gameplay perspective instead of having one giant pool for stalk.

But does that mean Myers needs to be Ghostface? No. I don't think so. I just think like Ghostface, his stalking mechanic needs to be updated. Myers' Tier 1 I feel is more of a hinderance than an advantage. You want to get out of it as soon as possible. So, why not just make it so Myers can spend his stalk on either getting Tier 3 (which would have it's own sets of buffs) or to completely hide his terror radius and red stain for a short period of time?

Just a suggestion, I'm not sure if it would work. But the reason why Myers' stealth doesnt work and Ghostface's does is because when Myers is in Tier 1, he has to give up a lot of basic abilities every other Killers have (Lunging, 115% speed), while Ghostface doesn't.

Truth be told, it never bothered me.

I think it depends on how you approach events, and the game itself.

I like to play to win for the most part. And that does include getting those lanterns.

But bare with me for a second.

There was nothing more frustrating than seeing a Killer destroy a lantern you've been holding onto the entire game and escaping without it. I would've played Killer for those events but Killers got jackshit for points to get the tokens.

It's the same thing with the Pustula Blight event too.

No one was playing the game, they were all sucking the flower dry. It was basically an "Early Game Collapse" or a buffed Corrupt Intervention. It was also because those pustulas are always in short supply. Someone is going to get the short end of the stick, and I'd rather it not be me because I wanna go back and playing as I normally do again.

But for Killer it was easy, just do your objective. Hook Survivors.

Which is why if they do events like these, please PLEASE let it be part of the objectives instead of... Well this.

Bu the Entity, our experiences were complete opposites, then. The Moonrise event was awesome for me, certainly much better than this poor excuse of events that we now have.

I certainly would not like to play the Moonrise event again if I can help it.

Mainly because it never felt good to play.

To get lanterns as Killer, you need to specifically tunnel people who have it and glow.

And that makes playing as Survivor even more tedious and frustrating as by virtue of the fact that you glow, you're going to be targetted by the Killer who wants the lantern too.

it got to the point where i would snipe him just to dodge his lobbies.

Jesus, that's quite unlucky. Though I remembered that being something that occurs to me constantly because of MMR.

You sure it wasn't just that?

  • You guys are expecting too much from BHVR for the events.

I get your disappointments, and they are valid given what the events were like before.

But I also remember how painful those events could be.

I forgot the exact name exactly, but it was a Blight Event where you had to collect Pustula Petals and escape as a Survivor to get Syringes to unlock cosmetics with.

Same thing with the Red Moon event for the Lunar New Year. Both of these I had a lot of fun doing, but I also remembered specifically hating playing the game during this period for those cosmetics.

Personally, I don't care if the events stay the same. And it's just a couple of community "events" and bonus BP. Maybe I just have a different perspective on this, but I don't want to celebrate the game by constantly hating playing it just to get a specific cosmetic I wanted that looked cool.

I still have that Huntress Outfit to this day and I wear it constantly mixed in with other cosmetics I've accumulated throughout my time playing this game. But the attempts, the trials and tribulations, the painful painful games I had to go through to get that cosmetic is one I won't forget as it genuinely got on my nerves to play this game for more than a couple of matches.

    Yes, I do, sometimes.

If you call me a slur, you're being tunneled. No exceptions.

There's also a select few people I hold a personal, deep hatred of (one of whom is a WR Pig Main, and two of whom are a duo that hate me and I hate them, for example) that I've gotten a gurdge against through several matches where I hate how they play.

I like to make sure everyone in my games has fun, or I try to anyway, and I really dislike being salty over a specific trial for more than 5 minutes, but some people just know which buttons to push and they do not get to have fun when I'm in their games :)

I'm surprised you've gone against him that Pig main that much to have a grudge against him.

Personally I have no problems with him or how he plays, then again I'm also someone who genuinely don't really give a crap what someone tells me or how someone acts on the Internet. It's not worth the time and emotional input.

  • I'd run Lithe over Dead Hard.

Being able to control when I use the Exhaustion Perk is my favourite way of playing them.

Which is not the case with Balanced Landing, Sprint Burst, and Smash Hit.

  • How the hell do you get 10 Demogorgons in your games?

I've only seen one in recent memory, and that was months ago.

I can definitely blame a Blight player taking that build into a public game for not giving a ######### about the fun of the other side, and I better not hear a peep out of them about any form of genrushing, tbagging, clicking, or "toxic optimal 4man SWFs" becuase if you don't want one side to have fun, why should they want you to have any either.

Honestly, if I see that build I am more worried about my teammates than the Blight itself.

I don't really care what the Killer does until they specifically BM me in game. Bring Ruin/Undying, play Twins and camp, I don't really care.

The game is already too stressful to worry about what other people think. Just play for your own fun. Which is hard when your teammates are incompetent.

  • I personally don't run the perk on Killer and I always play with Detective's Hunch because Ruin/Undying is so common.

So I don't really have a horse in this race, since I don't really care. NOED effectively doesn't exist for me.

But reading this thread sure was fun.

And me, if I never been hooked, will gladly take a protection hit for you, even the chase.

I don't mind if a death-hook Survivor runs to me for help if I'm hook-free. But if they were never hooked... I let them doing their chase.

    Massive ups. 👍️

I do that too in my solo games, I just wish my teammates would instead of focusing on running in front of me though.

Think of the average intelligence of humans. We are literal primates. Expecting us to throw intelligent discussion at the boards instead of poop is really optimistic.

Realizing this helps make you not take what other people say so seriously. This is precisely why I deleted my Facebook because checking that every day was mentally exhausting.

This place has some super bad takes(i do too, so im not judging) but I wouldn't say it's any more negative and pessimistic than any other gaming community. Our console brethren at least have every right to be upset and disappointed.

Most people have here have their preconceived notions and not much in terms of outside influences will alter those. if you have a discussion regarding RPD, you'll have me saying RPD is fantastic and great and you'll have somebody else saying it's literally worse than stepping on a LEGO. Neither of us will ever persuade the other side, so discussing it is almost meaningless in the first place, outside of trying to fish for a community wide consensus on such a topic. I happen to find that consensus interesting, so that's kinda why I like coming here I guess.

Anytime huge fan of them and hey us DBD players gotta stick together (They actually play DBD)

Yeah I know, I've been on their livestreams

  • Sometimes if I am on death hook I would deliberately push the Killer onto a group of Survivors who I know haven't been hooked yet.

In the long term it's better for the team, but I can understand being frustrated at it myself.

  • The tip is to not care.

That's how you stop having aneurysms in-game too.

Who cares if someone made Spirit post #124019?

Not like they're going to have any new hot takes or new arguments to share.

  • The Merkins are an amazing band

Thank you for sharing them here
