Had one Survivor say that to me as well when they had 1 gen left and I was defending the 3 cause it's a 3 gen and they said nice camping and I was like so what do you want me to do just let you go? That's not how this is gonna work here buddy.
Well it's only understandable if killer camps at start of match 3 gen area and does not move away. Had once clown doing that and match took like 40 minutes we won but was not good experience.

To escape MMR hell, I suggest you run a stealth build that includes Plunderers for a chance to get a key (or just bring in a key). Play selfishly and let your team die and escape from hatch.
I’m not really sure if hatch is considered a win, so this strategy may not be the best. It should tho.
I did bring key and used add on to see obsession aura to complete escape hatch challenge and my teammes throwed the game early so I decided to hide and when they were about to die they brought killer to my hiding place and showed it to her and tried to bodyblock me. Killer downed both with corrupt purge and chased me then and eventually we all died. So don't bring key your teammates will work with killer to help him get you.

That's rather rude, don't you think? Yes it is a bad idea, but you don't have to be so condescending about it.
I think they should start with making attacks from the Nurse's 2nd or later blinks into special attacks. It's a simple tweak that would have a huge impact on her being able to use Star Struck and Haunted Grounds so oppressively. It could even make her fun to play against again. "If I can dodge the first blink, maybe I'll have a chance!"
She is nurse main so that made him/her probably angry. Well even I agree that would be too much nerf. Range and recharge needs to go even fatigue add ons. Well recharge add ons could still be kept if they only work if nurse use already add on which makes her recharge longer so her 3 blink add on would still be viable. Then her second blink should count as special attack but her first will still count as m1 so startruck will not be so strong with her. Maybe exposed perks could get buffs then as well as she is reason why they can't be any stronger and reason why wesker perk got recently nerfed as well.

Hey guys, been a while since I made my joke nurse post of the week! Just wanted to say I have been working on something, and I am sorry to inform you all that I believe MMR has been lowered to an amount that is laughable.
I have played 1400 games that I have been "streaking with" and my highest streak is currently
1123 4ks in a row, (Otz rules, I used basement hatch spawning offerings and no way out against stronger looking teams to secure the 4k for the highest MMR gain possible, I gave hatch 23 times and they escaped through hatch 11 times)
This was ALL DONE ON A FRESH ACCOUNT NURSE.
WHY AM I GOING AGAINST 500-1100 HOUR SURVIVORS WITH A 93% 4k RATIO????? Yes I did get people like Zubatlel in my game here and there, does it mean the match was any harder? No it was one survivor, not all 4
https://dbd-stats.net/profile/76561198254309771
I streamed some of my new streak last month but the VOD's have been sadly deleted, so all I can give you is the DBD Stats lmao. (Im at like 124 4ks rn)
The nurse will always be broken because this game is played casually by many players, and nurses, let's just say, if she wants you dead and they are genuinely good at the killer you will NEVER win. The survivor VS Nurse matchup is completely dependent on both players and the survivor will ALWAYS be caught, however, mind games are possible but they are very very advanced and hard to think about in chase, making it very hard for survivors to "mind game". When survivors know how to play against a nurse, its very very apparent. Most survivors are like "LAWWWWWL NO COUNTER DUD I RUN STRAIGHTLINE AND LOOK BEHIND ME MAKING IT OBVIOUS IMA DOUBLE BACK LAWWWWWWWWL"
Nurse mindgames are very 50/50 based when both the survivor and killer are very good. Just depends who makes the best read
Now, what needs to be butchered into the ground is nurses addons, range is too good with map offerings if you choose the rightmap, and is almost unplayable for the survivors unless you are the worst nurse in the game. Just remove them or increase blink recharge time but make the nurse slightly faster when regening those blinks (to make up for the insane recharge time but great range)
Blink recharge needs to be toned down a bit, the yellow is fine but green needs to go down 5%. However, with the new blood web's they are very hard to find now consistently.
base nurse is actually pretty balanced ngl lmao (actual skillbased, if you make mistakes ur actually punished if the survivor is good)
or rework the killer entirely (no not wraith style for the love of god)
How to balance nurse that casuals have chance. Those good survivors are so rare but with nurse you can get decent pretty quickly. Survivor to get good takes 3000 hours+. But well there is still no hope for soloQ my teammates die even if the nurse is bad and I can loop him over 2 minutes. Nurses camp and tunnel usually so that does not help.

That's not a bad idea. I would also change using it at end game, perhaps the new version is what activates at end game. I do not care too much, it can stay, but I feel bad watching killers try to secure their kill and getting disgraced. Lol.
Bubba facecamping infinitely with old version in endgame...
-
It would be too powerful but hook graps should be removed.
-
His zombies are so inconsistent better remove then and he does not need them. One change I would make to his tentacle that it gives bigger speed boost for survivors or remove his t3 tentacle and just give him rocket launcher.

Yeah, that's pretty much the DbD "first 500 hours" experience. I've got nearly 200 hours into the game now, and same results : mostly 3Ks and 4Ks playing killer, mostly deaths as survivor.
Im just under 2000 hours and still 3-4K as killer mostly. But some games I get seal swf team with 7K hours each and I lose usually I can get kill or two playing dirty but these games show the game is survivor sided if they are very skilled and know what they're doing. But as survivor I escape freguently maybe like 1/3 of games now playing soloQ or duo/trio swf. But my friends play casually so we could do better and my solo teammates...

I wouldn't mind them changing the perk so that it has it's current effects, but if the obsession is hooked last, you see all other survivors. Then you don't get the awkward situation of only getting part of the perk's benefits. I don't find it an extremely strong perk, it can come in clutch, but overall, it promotes a good playstyle I think so I wouldn't mind it getting a buff.
Yeah I think it should show all survivors auras and work twice could make it worth try 8 hook game before finishing anyone off.

A second objective would be nice, but I don't think BHVR honestly has the time and resources to put in something like that at the moment.
I have to be honest, I personally don't have too much of a problem with doing gens. They can be the more relaxing and chill part of a match, in between the interactions with killers. As long as I get a good variety of everything, I always really enjoy my matches as survivor. Of course, the matches in which I only do gens with barely any interaction with the killer, are rather boring.
But I do understand why some people aren't a fan of gens. I just think right now it's very, very unlikely for the devs to add some other form of objective, and making repairing gens take less time instead, especially when looking at the road map they gave us this summer. And considering all the balance changes we have been getting recently. Which I'd rather have them focused on at the moment.
Well I think finding one part per generator would be fine and they could make then gens back to 80s or even faster. I think that part should take about 30-40s to get and put on generator.

Oh, really? Didn't know that. Now, let me tell you why me and other people run these two perks offten / every game. It is simple.
It makes killer more fun, enjoyable experience. I don't need to 4K or 3K or any K every match. I don't need to and I don't like to sweat to play this game in general. I just want to have fun and these perks make killer games way more enjoyable.
Showdowborn - default FOV sucks. It's too short. Some people also HAVE to run this perk since there is no option in settings. Shadowborn is technicaly a settings perk in menu. I like bigger FOV because it feels good. That's it.
Lightborn - "oh you can just hug wall, etc." yea yea, but sometimes you can't, you know? Anyway, I don't like worrying about flashlight saves, locker saves, last second swichting, SWFs, etc. I just like to chill and don't care if someone will try to blind me or just annoy me with flashlight. Again, it's not great perk, you don't need it most of your games, but I just like to chill and run it without worrying "omg what if this guy last switch?", etc.
Not every killer wants to 4K every game with 4 slowdowns you know. Also Survivors should be greatfull because these perks do nothing to you and makes the killer play with less perks = aka easier time to do gens, saves, etc. instead of some of them crying about it, "It's OP" or laughing at the killer for using this perk(s).
I just like to play killer for fun. Not for 4Ks. Thanks.
Well if you're aim is not to win they're good perks. Lightborn can be good perk agains't flaslight squads but has risk that once they figure you have it they just do gens.

You're absolutely right. I've seen nobody using keys to open hatch since the hatch itself got changed a while back. I think they should change this challenge in "get the hatch" and that's it. Way too situational in my opinion.
Use perk left behind and perk solo survivor. You can use offering that hatch spawns in house or in shack if you want. Then play match normally and do gens but if it looks your team is losing or you get hooked then just hide and wait your teammates to die. Then hope the killer closes hatch and leaves.

About Bubba - yea but that means they should leave other one die. Its for survivors who don't care about team play I lately met many people like this but I always go save all even if there is one shot of killer. I hate coward playstyle maybe this why Bubba is most hated killer by me bcz only chainsaw one shot and camping requires 0 skills and its very annoying to play vs him.
Most bubbas I face do not camp and he is quite fun killer to face. Killer I hate for most is nemesis he is so common and his testacle has bigger hit box than huntress hatchet.

Should 5s agains't slower killers and 10s agains't fastet killers? Or disable their powers but 5s was fine. It punished tunneling which is arguably most unfun playstyle apart from facecamping.

Guess its bhvr's attempt at throwing them a bone in place of actual optimization?
Well dbd is pretty unplayable with old consoles so at least they have something to their advantage. I do like the dark personally if im not playing killer.
-
Demogorgon strong but fair killer with good map travel ability. I really like his looks and sounds. He also has amazing lobby music bringing stranger things vibes.
Executioner I like his antiloop and it takes more skill than what nemesis has. I do like nemesis pallet breaking but executioner is better version of him in everything else.
Oni still is one of my favourites his blood fury is most satisfying thing in the game. But I drop him though after they nerf him next update.
Myers I enjoy killing survivors instantly he requires skill as you are only m1. He has add ons which completely changes how you play him.
Bubba I enjoy facecamping survivors in basement with insidious. Not really I rarely camp with him anymore his chase power is usually enough to win and survivors with brains can counter his facecamping by just doing gens.

Even Supalf suggested nerf on nurse how about that because of startruck and awakened awareness. He suggested first blink should count as normal attack but second blink count as special attack.

Survivor 7,5 maybe 8 if I feel good
Killer 8 I think km pretry decent good in mindgaming and using certain tricks to my advabtage. I have pretry decent knowledge of maps and know tricks which survivors try. But killer which I play rarely im 5-6.

People tunnel because it's easier than not tunnelling and it's more rewarding. It's not rocket science. It's human nature.
Some people will not tunnel because they care about their community reputation and the other people's experience but i have a hard time believing those people are genuinely happy and not just afraid of social pressure.
I try to not tunnel so we can have more fun match but if you gen rush I will tunnel 100%.

Despite the new changes, once Again, the cries of the few outweighed the many, and we have extra borrowed time. This will not have the effect you want. Instead this will quickly shift back into the old And bully meta that we've desperately tried to avoid. Tunneling is always going to be a thing, but does anyone ever stop to consider WHY it happens?
Point blank, its Toxicity. 98% of the time, someone is going to be tunneled out of a match because they decided to be toxic and nasty to the Killer, at least. That has been my personal experience. Whenever a teamate of mine gets tunneled, it's usually because they are tea begging after a stun, teabagging after a blind, flashlight clicking, or doing everything they can to be as obnoxious as possible for really no reason, other than to do it. The other 2%, (again, my personal experience) are the ones that really just don't care and feel like being tools.
Why are we rewarding toxic survivors with more ways to bully killers? Untill we start handling the toxic side, tunneling and camping WILL NOT go away.
Tunneling is 98% of time because it's easiest and usually most effient way to win. You can turn off your brain and just go after the one who is unhooked. As ds is not threat anymore so your not even punished doing it. So anyone who wants to win tunneling is good stragedy to use but not most fun or fair so everyone does not want to use it always.

we literally just got a killer sided patch, 6.1. what exactly are you on about? as an 80% killer player, if you don't think 6.1 helped killers, yeah you might as well quit lol
It sure did but gen rushers still exist. When my first chase ended in down in rpd 3 gens popped. Hard tunneled that then out and got 2K before patch thought the result would been same but at least usually you can stip them. Usually games are easier than before patch you can win even if you make mistakes but before they cost you usually the win.
Survivor side though im losing more and I had to play more survivor simply to get my tomes done had to play yesterday 10 games to get my white glypth through exit. After bad roounds im not also right mindset to play killer because I revenge those survivors what killers do to me. Once I actually saw killer who tunneled me on lobby so I hard tunneled and facecamped and hit him on hook for revenge...

That's not anti tunneling at all. I'm a killer main, if you want to tunnel a guy, you still easily can, since you continue to have vision of him after you hit him, yes it will take more time since now he has a bigger movement speed boost but it doesn't fix it at all.
The problem with tunneling is that some killers will still do it even if it puts them at a disadvantage, me included. If a guy teabags me hardcore and acts all cool, I will sacrifice the whole game just to tunnel him and get him dead that's how petty I am.
This "fix" only stops the tunneling in case you think about playing in the best possible way, but most killers don't really care about doing everything perfectly and maximizing their chances to get a 4k.
Well I try to not tunnel and camp cause then you get entity hungers.

10 sec base kit endurance and 10 seconds of 110% speed.
Dude. Yes tunneling has been adressed. Adressed doesnt mean obliterated. The changes are extremely good.
Ds should be basekit with 3,5s stun. It would discourage tunneling now instead countin 5 you have to count 10. Ds perk should make it 2 time use. Also the stun should be longer agains't antiloop killers or disable their power for 5s.
-
Because most killers want easy kills at endgame. I can count on one had how many times I got hit by ds at endgame past year. Because I always avoided that situation winning the game before endgame or downing the survivor before he could reach exit and then wait ds out usually I got unhooker down as well. Some situations the unhooked got away but then I got the unhooker.

So that's is where the issue stems from: you never faced good Survivors using Dead Hard before
Still most players failed to use dh effiently. Sb gives always value even for bad survivors. Good survivors with dh were annoying though but there was some counters if they were too greedy and didn't use it 100% safely or you played antilooo killer who could hit throught it.

If survivor take hit with bt just tunnel then and that survivor own fault then too. Most survivors run away so it's not usually problem.

While I agree that the devs aren't survivor sided, I feel like these examples aren't really good cause reassurance was kinda dumb since you can keep the hooked survivor on there for a long time and wesker had very janky interactions.
But they overnerfed it because it actually made camping unviable now it is still viable. They could change it being 60s pause with only one time use per hook state
-
@Jarky said:
I think this makes tunnelling less appealing for sure to a degree, and I agree with them buffing it. I still think it'll happen though, unfortunately - hitting the survivor immediately as they come off the hook is something a killer can do with a 5/10/20/80, etc. second endurance, so whilst it may make them less likely to want to, when a lot of killers weigh up a healthy survivor vs an unhooked survivor, they're both 2 hits to down and one can get removed from the game quicker. After DS got nerfed, I think killers just don't find tunnelling AS threatening anymore.
I still don't agree that this solves camping at all either. They've put it under a 'Camping and Tunelling' subheading but this unhook BT doesn't solve it at all.
It still helps a lot and change in right direction but they nerfed reassurance too much which makes facecamping still viable. They should at least increased the range when the perks activates or the timer should be 60s.

And the worst part, you still need to be around hook, 6m. They did not even buff it to larger area. Like 48m. Yes, i am serious. If you are nerfing perk to ground, at least make it larger area. So we can active it easier.
But ofcourse no. Facecamper killer deserves their easy kills!
Yeah I think that would be totally fair and I still think the pause should be minimium 60s. But campers complained about the perks so ofcourse it gets nerfed to ground. I quess basement bubba stays viable I actually will test this. Last time I tried I got swf:s with gen rush build and toolboxes but still got 2K each match. I wonder how I would done agains't solos.

I am actually super excited for reassurance for this reason, if the killer is planning to camp or tunnel, the perk will severely punish them even after the recent nerf to it.
Yeah and if you know killer will tunnel one out you can keep the guy on hook until killer goes to chase someone else far away from hook.
-
@Biscuits said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3146732#Comment_3146732
I disagree, I want the change to be that they fix the problem, which is that tunneling is the best strategy to win right now. So that means if you are a soloQ survivor. You should swap to killer and exclusively tunnel until they cannot ignore it anymore.
Yeah only way to change tunneling is to do that yourself and if everyone starts doing it devs has to nerf it as most survivors would probably stop playing. I find it unfun playstyle personally as killer as I don't enjoy ruining others games. It also feels like cheating given how easy it is now. Before it was fair when you had to eat bt/ds/dh and even bodyblocks but now usually nothing and if they have ds it gives them only few exta seconds.

Even when I play survivor I don't care if that happens to me, it is life, I lost, I wasn't good enough as a victim chased and my allies wouldn't take blows for me.
Killer has to be bad not to win 1vs1. That's why tunneling is so effective killer is much stronger in 1vs1. I've seen bad killers tunnel good survivors whole match and then facecamp yeah they were better kill is skill.
-
@RatbasterdJr said:
Well tunneling has always been an effective technique. This patch didn’t change that.
You probably need to work on your chase skills. If a killer tunnels you, so be it, it’s gonna happen. Might as well waste as much time as possible. 10 seconds on 1 gens doesn’t matter if 3 people are on gens while the killer focuses on 1. Trying to tunnel a good survivor will often times cost the killer the game. Work on your OWN skills, rather than trying to get the other side to play by your rulebook. I have no issues with being tunneled, I can confidently last 2-3 gens depending on map rng and if the killer commits.
It's problem I was just in game where sadako hard tunneled nea we took hits and even game her downs but she just continued tunneling.

I just got Bless You a few moments ago off of a NOED (which is my favorite hex to boon) fortunately. The other two seem like fun but I should use a specific build. A lot of the self escapes are kobes just from normal gameplay when nobody was coming to rescue me and some of the combo you mentioned above. In order to finish it off I plan to use OTR, Deliverance, SB and Deja Vu. Deja Vu is mainly just to stop my teammates from 3 genning us.
For Hiding Seeker, I'm going to run OTR, Lucky Break, Overcome and Quick and Quiet. That's a fun build as well. I get hit, I break LoS, I enter a locker with Quick and Quiet.
Huntress has been a pain so far. Which maps and perks worked best for you? I go straight aura reading perks and nothing else for that achievement but there are a lot of obstacles on the maps so that messes up a lot of throws.
I used usually only quick and quiet for it but occasionally put deception on my build too. But I always went to take chase when killers carried someone and then went to locker probably easiest way to get it.

I don't get hit but my teammates get and all tree are down in less than minute what im supposed to do then? One match I did get hit by it when no mither kate got downed in 3s start of match and I tried taking protection hit and last 2 also got downed soon after.

1 blink is utterly garbage and only works on a massive skill level mismatch. Nurse does require skill. It’s why good players as and against her go even when the skill matchup is even (outside of stuff like unbalanced maps/meme builds/people not trying/etc).
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3146491#Comment_3146491
Nah. Exposed perks have counterplay built in. For instance, Starstruck is stay split up against the killer, run from the down. Badly designed tiny maps does not make Starstruck a problem, it means those maps need reworks and to be made bigger.
Nurse has counterplay built in via mindgames. You can avoid the blink hits even if you do end up Exposed. So on and so forth.
Not when nurse uses lethal pursue and survivors spawn together. It's too strong on her you use it so ofcourse you don't want it to be nerfed on her I use it too and it's too strong. If exposes perks would not work on her they could be buffed so other killers would get more use from them. Now it's only dredge getting use from make your choise.

Forgot to quote you above, sorry. Here are my achievements in Dbd below. It's kind of hard to not play solo queue and have nearly all of the survivor achievements. From you quoting old meta I'm pretty sure your problems are stemming from an unwillingness to adapt to change. That would be frustrating but you shouldn't try to take it out on people who have adapted and like the patch. Perhaps you should just accept that while some people are struggling others aren't? Game experiences are different for different people and, as with @jesterkind , my experiences are quite a bit different from the doomsayers.
I'll put on the screenshots again in case you don't want to look in the previous posts for them. If I supposedly don't play survivor then please explain how I was able to get so many of the them including the hardest ones?

Those are the only survivor achievements I have left but those are easy to get with specific builds that, fortunately, are quite good after 6.1. In the last two weeks, I've decided to finish off my achievements so the survivor ones should be done shortly. The Huntress one hopefully before I hit retirement age.
Im surpriced you don't have those survivors achiement I got them before patch and you have to bit throw games to get them but they were not hard to get. I did the unhooking with slippery meat and luck offerings. Huntress one you have to go for snipes or farm with survivors and hope they help you get it.

Why you always have to go somewhere and complain? Why not practice looping, hitting great skillchecks, flashy saves? All devs did is take away most survivor(and killer) crutches, give some minor buffs to killer and yet you have been whining non-stop since midchapter. Yes going against ton of slowdown perks can be annoying but decent survivors still have an edge over your average killer. If you all stopped crying and learnt to play maybe soloq wouldn't be so bad.
Right now the game requires you to be better than killer to have chance winning. You win only agains't decent killers if they play nice. Overcharge+call of brine+eruption is very strong agains't soloQ and even average swf who does not perfectly know when someone goes down. Still I do beat consistently survivors who are better than me as killer. You have to be very good team to beat me if I don't play nice. I whipe the floor with most survivors I do play this game bit too much so im better than average player but the game is now killer sided unless you happen to play agains't 4 man seal team but that also because they're usually simply more skilled than you.

Worst idea ever just no. Someone might want to do achiement or some just are bad and think it helps. Also sometimes you can give hatch to last survivor doing it. Also it's intended game mechanic why should anyone get banned for that even short amount time and you're talking about perma ban which is just crazy. I know it sometimes frustating when teammates do this even when your team has good chance of winning.
