went from p6 to p100, this is my second p100

also got around 1000 more pies spread mostly between Springtrap, Dracula, Billy, Wesker, and Oni

I played a lot of survivor in event mode this anniversary bc of the queues but no pies on them since I don't level them up because I like playing them usually with only a couple perks and no items since it makes the game more intense and fun for me

Nice I didn't play as much in first weeks of the event so I could put more prestiges for characters. I would wanted kaneki to at least P66 I like the yellow and red prestige colors. Also my Sable is now P58 and that brown color is ugly so I would wanted to update her more. Im picky with these things.

I have always prestiged more survivors as I needed more the stuff they have map offerings, BNP:s and syringes and bp offerings. Before last year you could also show off prestiges in lobby which was nice.

With killers I didn't really have main I liked Oni a lot but I have enough add ons for him and I suck with him... It's really hard to earn bp with him so I put my cakes on kaneki for killer side mostly. As killer I always win most my games so I need less good add ons and recently haven't lost any game unless letting survs escape counts.

    What a crazy man!

I've got 4600 on surviviors (across like 15-18 surviviors) and 5150 on killers (35 killers got 100-300 each).

What can I say? I like variety and I can't put everything on 3 characters :D

I was playing A LOT, like every free time I had, for the whole month, dam.

    Do I feel tired? Yes!

There were 2 polish streamers who got around 15k cakes each btw, crazy people!

Yeah that's gotta be lot of playtime felt I was playing too much and got 3000 cakes on killer and 1500 on survivor. Normally I spread them more but this time 2000+ are on Ghoul on road to P100 him.

Previously my highest killer prestige was Oni P22 he got 70 cakes and still has 150+ from previous anniversaries. I have always put most bp on survivor as I have not needed it on killer as much. I have decent amount of add ons and previously didn't really had main. My only regret now it's not putting more bp on Sable.

  • @killer_hugs said:

I got 6631 on survivor! although only a few hundred on killer.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/B4RL84LPB719/untitled.png

Wow that insane amount of cakes on survivor. I had 2100 on Ghoul and another 900 on other killers.

    20250725_011305.jpg

Survivor side I had 1500 cakes on total most on Soma, Feng and Sable. Im on road to P100 Ghoul and maybe Sable.

I used most bp on Ghoul as killer side bp and cakes earning were better. I would updated feng more but she has been P100 for 2+ years. It's other characters turn now.

Thank you. Maybe due to being poor in English I sometimes write it wrong, but main killers problem comes from difference between SWF and SoloQ powerlevel. Once devs buff SoloQ to swf level with for example Kindred and Dejavu, as SWF has it information from voice chat, it would be healthier for the game as it will reveal actual killer power level. Lower gap between solo and team = better for the game and easier to balance

Because currently it's hilarious. You ain't going to have 3-4k against good swf, and then you will destroy SoloQ and according to Devs it's somehow "good" because your killrate is around 50% and it's balanced.

Well even agains't 4 man swf killers have over 50% kill rate so according to stats it's fine. Most swf aren't great either it's small percentage that are problem but they are also extremely skilled at the game.

  • If you feel that quilty playing him why not play him as m1 killer. That survivors find most fun to play agains't usually. But I don't find him that annoying as survivor he is loopable but most won't bother to try. Looped one ghoul just 2+ minutes yesterday and my team did only 2 gens barely and then went down in seconds... Im bit biased too as he is my new main killer and well that's why I know how to play agains't him.

I would really like to see Dejavu and Kindred basekit to make solo players vs swf players gap smaller. My point is lesser gap is, easier to balance.

Because currently power of "friendship" breaks the game.

Kindred yes but not deja vu. Maybe bond should be basekit as it let's you see teammates so you don't run killer to gen that is being fixed. It range could be limited more but essentially it gives only imformation that swf already has.

Yeah on second look I was wrong but It's still not 115% because a survivor running in a straight line away from you will take quite a while to catch up to

    Carrying movement speed is 3.68m/s with Agitation it's 4.3424 m/s or 108%

So still faster than a running survivor, but not as fast as 115% m/s

    @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3969253#Comment_3969253

I believe killer carry speed is the same across the roster. Agitation makes you slightly faster than 100% speed. A survivor shouldn't be gaining distance on a killer with Agi.

Well I looked now the carrying speed and it should be 110% with agitation tier 3 as killers move 92% normally. I don't know where I remembered 97%.

  • @Brokenbones said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3969253#Comment_3969253

I think agitation makes you move at basically the same speed as a running survivor, or slightly faster. If survivor m/s is 100% then agitation killer is like 102%-ish.

If a survivor doesn't run in a straight line away from someone with agitation you basically can catch up really quickly.

    Um nope it's 115%.

Agitation description while transporting a body, your terror radius is increased by 12 meters and you have 18% haste.

Killer normal movement speed while moving body is 97%. With 102% you would not be catching anyone...

  • @SpringMyTrap said:

yeah, im getting burnt out on killer recently.

surv is way less annoying to play because you need to do so much less, just know the game well.

Yeah killer feels you have to do too much sometimes for me helps farming with last 2 survivors for example or playing survivor side to relax and not caring about the result. But I find survivor side more annoying if I actually try to win...

  • @Rokku_Rorru said:

For me it's just the queue times, and sometimes server hiccups messing with the killers I play (Unknown). Mainly its the queue times though that puts me off. I have to draw on the side while waiting.

Yeah queque times are my biggest issue too at night time you might have to wait 5-10 minutes to find killer match. So how to get more survivors to play?

  • @R2k said:

I'm playing on both sides and It's difficult to tell on which side I have more hours. But I would guess I'm 50-50 surv-killer. As my Kate has 2 more prestige levels than my Plague which is not big difference. Back to the topic. If anything what I don't like about playing as killer it's:

    a) Swf. Bhvr has to stop pretending deaf and finally balance game around discord teams. But to make it less hard for Solo players that don't have friends, make Kindred basekit. Then balance every killer with a thought he's playing against 4 man swf discord squad. Because it's day and night experience. Also kindred would help new players to learn the game.

    b) Invisible walls. On most maps I met situation Anna's and Plague (only ranged killers I play), sometimes hit invisible wall with their projectiles.

    c) Spirit. Maybe it's my hearing problems, but on some maps (during chase) it's confusing when you hear sound from right headphone, but survivor went left.

Well given the current state the game is for survivor side no nerfs for survivors/swf is justified. As solo survivor I can go 10 games without escape. I argue the game is already balanced that killers have good chance agains't swf:s.

I have won many teams better than me in skill and those teams I would not win let's say 2 years ago when many maps were much bigger and with more pallets. Buffing solo survivor should be priority now then see how killer side is affected. I been playing this game for years and remember when killer was actually hard before 6.1 update.

  • Yeah I don't know why it's so big deal? Writing slowly should not be reason why it isn't added. Most write anyway short replies like Gg or wp so it's not problem. I believe most in fact have access to keyboard they can hook on console if that chat option was added.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Agitation. I get a free hit almost every game with Agitation. It can snowball games too if survivors are lingering around while you carry. And unless my math is way off, it's a good way to identify cheaters who are faster than a killer with Agi.

Isn't agitation 115% speed? So regular killer speed. But well you probably play nurse a lot so then yeah I can see why. I haven't really seen cheaters anymore just one legion who downed everyone in 10s start of the match and moved like 500% speed. But I probably can't really identifyi suble cheaters from something like game lags.

I'm sorry, I can't take you seriously when you say THE GAME and HAWKINS are "wildly killer sided," and that "GoJ is ass for everyone." There's a reason why killers call it "Garden of Pain."

It's long time it's been called garden of pain (3 years ago) and that hold no merit anymore after the map got major rework. More like garden of happiness now for killer.

  • @BorisDDAA said:

I got confused with another dude that posted stats. 5 hours this month is reasonable, with how long killer queues are.

    20250719_175825.jpg

Im already red grade 1. I've been playing too much... but I would not make it this fast if killer was hard. Well hardest thing was +2 pips in red grade.

  • Yeah most maps are now quite small with many unsafe pallets. Feels the game has been balanced around good 4 man swf so that average killer can have chance agains't them.

  • Current state is strongest killer has ever been for me especially the event. Most games are really easy and I can 8 hook before finishing anyone off and collect some totem rewards and still win comfortably. Ideally though I finish someone after 6 hooks as sometimes I lose my pressure. I have 5000 hours in the game.

My soloQ games killers dominate most of the time however they employ tunneling/camping often and finish off survivors quickly as possible. At least there are some better games still and luckily some killers are beginners. I usually point out in my mind their mistakes when they lose and how they could won.

  • @Brokenbones said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966674#Comment_3966674

Almost every Ghoul I go against uses Pain Res/DMS/Surge/Pop or Pain Res/DMS/Grim/Surge

No exaggeration, I wish it wasn't that common

I use only pain res with aura build half the time with him. Other times pain res and DMS with some chase perks. It's my sweat build but could probably drop pain res as DMS is alone already so disgusting. That perk should get nerfed.

I myself don't need it it makes me win 5-4 gens left instead 3-2 gens left. So I get bit of challenge without it but I see in my survivor games how even bad killers use it to win or killers that should lost the match.

  • In my experience gens get done pretty slowly most survivors don't do them with any effiency for some reason. Most my games on killer about 1-2 gens get done before I kill first usually 6-8 hooks before that.

If all survivors gen rush then they can be done quite fast but still requires killer to miss play and usually you can even snowball if 3 gens get done quickly.

  • @ImWinston said:

    • For me, the "fun" part of fighting Myers is not knowing if he has the tombstone. On the one hand, I hate being killed by a tombstone, but on the other, it makes every match exciting. It's one of the very few truly "playful" mechanics left in the game; it's not balanced at all, but it's a lot of fun. (I'm speaking from the survivor's perspective.)

100% agree he brings true horror to the game.

Cant really run out of them. Had them long before this even though just something I stockpiled for awhile and went "am I going to use these at any point?"

I have 700+ with P100 Feng and Nancy and then counting other characters probably 1000+...

  • @ShanoaLegendaryPlz said:

Since we know it won't be outfits, im hoping for atleast a badge or something that people can see which character you got the p100 on. But if their reason is time and money and licensing issues, i have no idea what their idea of a prestige "reward" could be as they've alredy canceled everything out that we could've wanted.

In past they gave legacy skins to old players who grinded to prestige level 3. Current P100 grind is much bigger so licensing issues is only acceptable reason for no cosmetic rewards. P100 players worked so hard so they do deserve reward even simple shirt with P100 logo would been awesome.

  • That would be very nice. Im still waiting kindred basekit too.

I miss Leprose Lichen; 24/7 auras is cool and acceptable now. I miss having my portals br legit slowdown

Using both iri add ons was one of my favourite combos. It's bit meh now.

  • Ghoul now he is really fun to play as killer and has everything you need. Great chase power and mobility.

I used to main Oni but he starts too slow but in 2vs8 last time I played him only. He has most fun power in game but sadly it's very limited. I seem to face best of the best survivors with him so got tired of that.

Dracula is killer I like a lot too. I like his shapeshifting abilities and I wish he had add on to be wolf only. I might let survivors pet him.

I play Huntress/Were-elk when I want to mori survivors. Love the skin.

Wraith used to be my bp farming main.

Demogorgon was also one of my old mains. But newer ones unfortunately outperform him pretty significantly. He is stil one of best looking ones and satisfying power to use.

  • Nerf his vaulting speed and remove deep wound that's maybe fair but gutting him comoletely would be unfair.

Most killers can stomp soloQ and are almost as overpowered anyway. You can only win in this game as survivor playing extremely well and getting lucky.

  • I started as survivor main but always played some killer. But Im playing more and more killer these days. My stats track about 12K sacrifices and 3K escapes.

Friends introduced me to the game and played mostly with them so that made me survivor main. Later still ended up playing that side a lot alone because it was easier to play and I mostly only prestiged survivors as it was cool to show off.

Survivor nerfs however has made SoloQ bad for me and my friends play less these days so I play more killer now. I also really like new killer the Ghoul and probably P100 him.

  • All you can really do is go easy on them. Dc:s for me are rare but seems every game now some survivor gives up and ask mercy. Maybe it gets better after the event ends?

  • Well chucky scamper was easier and if you're quick enough looping agains't ghoul you can avoid getting hit.

I don't know that I buy that. I think what's more likely is that with these latest patches flopping so hard, they're a bit hesitant about starting phase 2. So they extended the current event, which was already affected by those patches and is the right call, and shelved phase 2 even longer to maybe gain a bit more confidence with it. I don't know that it will ultimately matter since phase 1 was stalled as well, but you know.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3964168#Comment_3964168

I wasn't seeing it for a little bit but now I am again. And it makes sense, really. Play the right regression build with a strong enough Killer and get the trial over with as quickly as possible. There's very little standing in the way of that. It's just poison to the game is all and BHVR should know better with 3 years of data on this trajectory.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3964243#Comment_3964243

It might be a little strong, but I'd like to see the gen counter go down when each Survivor dies. The trial bottle necking is so common that there needs to be something to get it moving aside from forfeiting.

Yeah I myself hold back a lot when playing killer so that I don't completely stomp most survivors. Especially in the event I have to be careful.

As soon as I wrote that reply to you my team was slugged 3 times a row at least we got few gens done though. But damn I can't blame if survivors don't want to use cakes especially after event as their bp gains are minimal.

But maybe killers like me keep them continuing who show some mercy.

  • Who is claiming it's never been easier than it is now. Especially current event is super killer sided and I play mostly killer on it and just stomp most games. I have to hold back not to end matches too quickly.

  • @Destaice said:

Technically speaking survivors needed a feature to get out when being held hostage as you cannot do anything to end the match until the bleed timer ends. Where as a killer you can force survivors to leave. They cannot hold you hostage.

But I don't see any harm in letting killers abandon once the exit gates open if they feel the match is lost.

If they add killer bots then that's fine as otherwise I would rarely escape if killer abandon as soon as gate is open.

  • @UnicornMedal said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3963768#Comment_3963768

It'll be next to impossible to accurately gauge what's fair as long as the trials steamroll as easily as they do. Regardless, if Killer has catchup mechanics that last all trial long, offer very little resistance (there is counterplay, but it's easily overpowered), and can be used without restraint across all characters, there HAS to be something of equal ease and power for Survivor. SWF is too unrealistic.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3963809#Comment_3963809

My solo trials are the same. I can maintain a 40%-ish streak if I play during a specific window at the start of events. Otherwise, it's a lot of trials where Killer gains an early advantage, we get a few gens done, and then they start slugging until we're all down. Even when we (rarely) open the gates, it's the same story. Escapes only happen if the Killer is sorely mismatched or if they let us win.

I'm 3k hours but still fairly casual. I can't imagine my experience is that different from the majority.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3963843#Comment_3963843

There's a lot that could make the game a lot more enjoyable and fair, but if asymmetrical games have shown anything, it's that Killers won't queue up if they can't win with ease. It's a problem for the genre overall.

Yeah at least most killers don't slug in my games but that happens still too often. I just think "chill killer" no need to win 5 gens left

  • @radiantHero23 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3963533#Comment_3963533

No. Either rework them, so that they guarantee NOT being sent to a specific realm or remove them.

Then swf just cancel 4 most killer sided maps and they got most use of it. Don't buff swf! If 40% too high how about 30%?

  • Definetely not skull merchant was boring even for killers. Ghoul is really fun to play as killer and loopable as survivor you can't just hold W.

There are other killers needing as much nerfs too Springtrap for example I can't stand him. But like I said before maps are too killer sided now.

  • @Reinami said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3962908#Comment_3962908

You have to be careful with catchup mechanics, because if not done properly or carefully, you just end up rewarding someone for playing badly. You should not be punished for playing well and have your opponent be rewarded for playing badly.

Ideally instead of a "Catchup mechanic" the game should just fundamentally be designed at a core level to not snowball as hard. For example if survivors shared the 1st hook state, then you couldn't be eliminated from them atch until the 6 hook at the absolute earliest. That would help solve much of that snowball potential.

On the other side of things, adding in more basekit gen defense that is gained through more rewarding gameplay like hooking survivors would go a long way to helping out the killer side.

Agree expect killer side does not need more gen regression unless we remove the perks. I use pain res and DMS which allow me to keep survivors from at times even fixing one gen for very long time.

  • @LockerLurk said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3962908#Comment_3962908

Unfortunately the only way to make a good catchup mechanic is to make it equal for both sides. This means if the Killer is struggling, gens will grind to a near halt until they start to even the score out, too. But that isn't fun for Survivor, is it? It wouldn't be fun for me as Survivor.

The unfortunate truth is you have to accept that such a game is a loss if the Killer plays hard, which many do because the game tells you to. Chill players on Killer side are few and far between; there is no incentive to be nice and take the 3k or even the 2k. The game doesn't allow for it, and punishes you with less points if you do. The same is true on Survivor side, there is no incentive to befriending the Killer except you dying.

Losing on both sides feels unfun and punishing, more than losing should a loss should only ever feel like an "aww dang, maybe next round" moment and currently it feels like a "no, bad, do better loser".

Besides we have something like this in 2v8. It feels bad there, it is bad there, it's not a fun mechanic and not really the solution you want. I promise it's not.

Expect if we but catch up mechanic it would benefit greatly more survivors. I win most games 3-4 gens left if I want. I don't tunnel or camp and usually let someone at least escape. Now if they put catch up mechanic maybe I get some challenge.

Most my survivors matches in soloQ go about same maybe we get few more gens as most killer players are not good.

I'm kinda on the fence about Tombstone tbh, because in a lot of ways Tombstone can be pretty unfair to the uninitiated; even as a veteran, there are those odd moments where you just mess up/have to bite the bullet and get caught with a Tombstone...

However everyone with any time in DBD knows Mikey COULD have it, and especially if you see him taking a long time to stalk, you know not to screw around with it, and that makes Mikey quite fun, scary and paranoia inducing in of itself.

It's bit like the killer side equivalent of Decisive Strike... they might not have Tombstone at all… but you get certain smells to indicate that they might have it... and that's pretty fun.

Yeah tombstine bring some horror back to dbd. Just recently my swf versed mickey who we suspected having tombstone piece as he took so long to get Tier 3 and we played it safe going to lockers etc. But after game he didn't even had it was just newer player.

  • @radiantHero23 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3963518#Comment_3963518

Maps in dbd can be Incredibly one sided. A specific map can strongly shift power and therefore the outcome of a match to either killer or survivor.

    Wanna win with Pig? Midwich.

    Wanna win against Pig? Erie.

Due to this imbalance in map design, the offering that can guarantee this power shift holds immense power for whoever uses it to their advantage. On top of just map layout, tiles and main building, certain maps also favour certain perks. Surge is amazing on the game and balanced landing works well on both chapel and asylum.

Due to all these aspects, map offerings are like the final infinity stone for the gauntlet of the optimized player and empathize the aspect, that in dbd, loadout alone can win a match.

I personally want them removed as well.

Maybe increase the chance to like 40% as 20% is too low.

I don't think all killers need to get nerfed, my friend. I think Ghoul needs a nerf.

Some maps need buffs so that's nerfs all killers. Some perks too DMS is too good with pain res I keep winning 4-5 gens remaing because of the combo if Im not merciful.

You can remove the injury causing deep wound from Ghoul if you must but he is fine to me.

  • @GeneralV said:

Well, friend, while Wesker is, by far, my least favorite killer in the game, I definitely think Ghoul has one of the worst designs in DBD's history.

He is an extremely oppressive killer that leaves basically no room for counterplay. It is my opinion that he needs more nerfs, the ones he already got were not enough.

Could be said that all killers need nerf and especially killers that are too good on pc. Ghoul is fine if we want killers to be power role.

I just had issue how killer sided most maps are. That makes all killers super oppressive.

I mean they don't have to die, I sure won't target or tunnel them, but if they're last I won't give them the out.

I'm a stats nerd Steve gets me killed more than any other survivor by a long way, not just games with Steve in but its so often Steve's fault! Even the kids say now its Steve dodge the lobby! When I'm survivor (I don't) & screaming Steve's 🙄 I'm sorry I live with daily migraines & I work / play through a lot but thats over my line!

Never liked Leon, don't like him in resident evil, but more that most seem to be terrible team mates, just a personal thing I guess.

I find it incredibly difficult to Kill Meg (my forever main) but like I said the vast majority of the time I play for 3 kills & whomever is last is last I won't ignore someone just to let them go.

Well I can see you reasons. Most leon players are babies or noobs but I might myself feel bad for them even they are not good teammates.

Steves can be overly altruistic but I have found them decent teammates maybe you have just been unlucky. Steves used to be pros though before ST came back.

Worst teammates for me are probably Sables and claudettes.

Agreed, I always give hatch or gate to last survivor (unless its steve or leon sorry they'll have to leave it to luck of the entity)

Far from a new player 16,000 hours+ but since the mori came in the number of killers i've seen let survivors almost leave just to mori them (usually gate) has dramatically increased.

I don't mind dying personally & prefer mori death to the hook & I doubt many players have that in mind while running off, but some probably just don't wanna boost mmr with a gate escape.

Why poor leon and steve has to die?

  • Well the remote hooks is not always that good it takes more time now to use than last event and there is often hook right next to you. I think the problem is survivors event powers are quite weak.

Tunneling is problem in normal mode too.

  • Will you increase amount of cakes in bloodweb seems to be lower than usually. P100 characters are especially in bad position I have gone multiple levels without single cake.

Because that's his objective and it's the most efficient way to play this game.

Nah it's just fact every game has sweaty players and during events there seem to be more. But they make the experience bad for casuals who want to chill. Ideally you put sweat agains't sweat but that does not happen always.

A whole grade is too much. It should be what it was before, two pips.

Why does XBOX force updates while players are in game?

One pip would be enough but players who dc most often don't care about pips so really it punishes innocent players.

I don't know reason why xbox forces updates it was simple system update.

  • Probably the map. What I've seen the killer power is not that interesting and Im not really fnaf fan but to say it's still good looking killer and fnaf lore is still interesting. But my lil bro though is very excited.
