  • Your rank can get lowered from DC and so DC still gets punished

  • I liked the developer quotes

  • I just find Survivor more fun. Even when I lose, I have fun. Like a recent match, my team sucked. We were on Ormond against a max level and bloody Ghostface. 2 went down quickly. I looped this guy it seemed for ages all over the map so that the other survivor could finish the last gen and open the door too. They didn't cause they were panicking. Come to find out that while I was distracting the killer, the other teammate screwed me by using a key to escape. I was injured and right as I was about to escape (after doing all the work on gens), he got me. It was a fun match though and he was good.

  • Alma from FEAR.

Candyman from Candyman. Just rewatched it and I still call it a masterpiece from the directing style to the unique story. One of the greatest twist endings too. I'd honestly give to 5/5 Stars. He would be perfect in this game. Candyman is like Scream where it is one of those rare and unique horror movies that isn't by the books. Plus Candyman loves hooks.

  • Ignore them. It is a competitive game and that's why the community can be toxic.

  • Check out the thread "Plague Has A Wicked Learning Curve". Lots of good tips

Her vomit is tricky while learning. Don't try and be pinpoint with it. Wiggle your mouse left and right to spread the 'cone.' Early on, your objective is to get as many as you can infected.

When looping, spray on pallets and vaults if they're not infected.

You can spray on gens as well, to work as a type of radar. If they're getting infected without you being there, you know which gens they're on.

Don't gun for corruption early on. Not only do you want them to waste time later by having to cross the map to cleanse, you want enough ammo if they manage to pop all gens, because they WILL aim to cleanse as soon as possible. It's her biggest weakness, in my opinion.

This is the most wholesome topic I've seen here in ages. I have all dlc and yet I've never played as Plague yet and these are soom good tips. Thanks

  • Alma from FEAR would be fantastic.

I don't want Jason to be involved with DBD.

I'm curious as to why? He is very popular and a famous killer. I'd like to see the reboot version cause that's when he got back to his roots. His problem was too many sequels. It honestly should have ended at Part 5 with the copycat killer. After that it just kept getting more dumb. Part 8 had him in New York City and Part 9 was the absolute worst with Swat getting involved and him possessing people. The reboot got back to his roots and is a lot like Part 2 where he is a Human and strong killer

  • I'd love original Jason and Tommy too, yet I'd like something new and unique.

  • The costume itself is owned by a Halloween company, not by Wes Craven. That's why Billy/Stu weren't the killer here and why Sidney Prescott wasn't a survivor in the game. The killer as Ghostface isn't the same as the Scream killer. Hopefully we do get Billy/Stu, College Campus, and Sidney Prescott in a Scream Map pack one day

  • I got one as my Meg main and I got a few for different killers. I will never use them cause they are a sign that says "I'm here" cause the Crown floats. I wouldn't worry too much about them.

  • Oh no cause people would be rushing far too much to complete their old time. I enjoy the game cause there is no time limit

  • Replace her current Mori with her famous Crucifixion trap from Saw 3. It was called The Rack. Have Entity spawn one for her and she throws the survivor in it and it breaks their body parts one by one. I don't like her current mori that is like Altair from Assassins Creed 1

True, I it's reasons like that I play on PC.

While PC might be able to play this game at a better rate than Switch, I still love Switch version. Frame rates are good and graphics don't look that bad at all. Plus I liked how when a lightning storm hit recently, I undocked it and played in handheld mode. That's why I'd love for them to be added to the roster.

  • 1. Why would they listen to Streamers ? They are people that had nothing to do with the creation of the game. Some have put thousands of hours into the game. Here's their cookie ?

    2. I'll say it again, devs don't have to do anything. They don't have to do events or change killers. They do this cause they actually listen to people. Many didn't like how Billy could curve corners and down people. I'm a Billy main and I hated this.

    3. They are a lot better than many game companies. Microtransactions and forced dlc is at an all time high with many companies. Angry Joe lost his mind when Valorance added $100-$350 gun skins. Behavior gives maps away for free. You can experience every survivor and killer without paying a dime. You only have to pay to play as them. They charge money (at incredibly reasonable costs) cause they have to pay their team for overhead and for creating unique killers. They have to pay money from their pockets when it comes to licensed killers cause they don't own them. These are incredibly amazing traits when EA and Activision overcharges for $60 or more dlc.

  • His sleepwalking powers are really unique and I'd love to play as him. Quentin actually stood out in recent horror films as a unique survivor. Usually they are generic, but I liked how Quentin would outsmart Freddy.

Stop talking bad about my boy Monto. It’s called humor.

Glad you told me his name, I'll avoid him

Damn, what happened to Friday the 13th?

Hackers really hit the servers hard where on every platform, PC, PS4, One, and Switch, all public matches were unplayable. Gun was at a loss of words and the game was unplayable for 2 weeks. Illfonic and Gun Media screwed up that game more than the lawsuit did. I won't ever buy another game from them. Between terrible gameplay decisions to complete incompetence. I think we should just leave Jason alone at the Camp.

  • It makes sense for this game to be on Stadia cause Behavior wants to give everyone a chance to play this game. I just hope that they know what they are doing. Google has been screwing up Stadia as badly as Atari did with the Jaguar. Sales for Stadia massively dropped to the point that they have given 3 month Pro memberships away. Their business decisions like giving away launch games after 2 weeks on the market have made people distrust them.

  • Looks like it is finished now if it was scheduled for 30 minutes. They probably did this cause Friday The 13th was unplayable for 2 weeks cause Hackers ruined the servers. I enjoy how Gun keeps screwing up Friday The 13th cause Behavior takes notes to avoid this stuff in Dead By Daylight

  • I feel that DC players should be punished. DC a few times and you can't play for a few hours. Continued DC will result in a ban of a few days.

I'd also like to say that killers should get a lot more BP from survivor DC. I had 2 DC on me and that robbed me of a lot of points for that match. If a killer DC, all 4 survivors should get a ridiculous amount of blood points.

  • 1. Buff Legion. Give him throwing knives to replace Frenzy.

    2. Survivor bots. I'd love to practice various killers with bot survivors. It would be a helpful mechanic that would encourage more people to try more killers without fear of messing up.

  • I don't know what they would gain by being manipulative. I feel that they have been doing good as a team. They throw a 4 year anniversary event and people complained about that too. They technically don't have to do anything like events or killer changes. They do cause they care about the community and listen to people. The game started small and it was a gamble for them in the beginning. It has grown into one of the most popular modern games of this generation with tons of people in every platform, even Switch. They have kept up with the growth and have released quality content.

They have done much better than the devs at Friday The 13th where community got too big and they got overwhelmed and the game is basically dead now.

  • Killer camping at hooks. A teammate constantly backfiring gens. A lot of indoor maps.

  • I've been enjoying these topics. I need to start making popcorn. Devs do anything and they get hate for it.

  • My favorite is Pain Reliever. Paulie is a close second.

My least favorite is any toxic Youtuber. I saw one guy stream and he had toxic builds as Trapper and he was mocking 2 survivors as he killed them and was laughing evil. Guy needed psychological help.

We've taken feedback on add-ons as well, don't worry. There's only so much time to make changes between a PTB and the actual release, and that post is just for the changes that are locked in for the initial release. It's still possible that there will be some add-on changes in the hotfix, but I can't confirm that just yet. We could also make further base kit tweaks in the following hotifx(es) if necessary.

You guys are doing awesome. This is a fairly toxic community and so you won't be able to please anyone. I'm excited for Chapter 17 already. Day 1 buy for me.

As for the topic. Billy is my main and I'll still use him. The tweaks are nice and he still fits my playstyle. I'd like to see Legion get a buff. Drop Frenzy in exchange for throwing knives.

  • It's a competitive game and you're going to find toxic people no matter what. Winning or losing in a competitive setting makes the Human brain go from one extreme to another. Winning can cause a lot of euphoria while losing can cause sadness and anger. Those are all extreme emotions. I will agree with you that he was in the wrong for using strong words like that and so was anyone else that went back and forth with him. Generally I mute any random immediately and I don't bother with messages.

I will say that I didn't have a mic in one game and I tricked a toxic survivor into thinking I was bad and then I was talking down to them as I was winning. "I caught you slipping. Oh you're trying to avoid getting carried now by turning in circles, I admire your resilience. Let's go see The Entity. Smile for the camera" as the Cheryl was being taken away. That's an example of extreme emotions.

  • I earned a crown with Meg and I never use it. I love when killers and survivors use it cause it is a floating sign that says "I'm here".

  • He's one of the deadliest killers. As others said, he has 3 Tiers. Once he gets the third tier, he's a tank. He's extremely strong, powerful, and has a low terror radius. So he's a tank stealth killer. Give him time. You just bought the dlc, what do you expect ?

If that happened it would suck not having Tommy Jarvis as a survivor

They opted for the reboot version of Nightmare On Elm Street with Freddy and Quentin. I'm just saying that it would make sense to opt for Whitney and Jason from the 2009 reboot of Friday The 13th cause they weren't in Friday The 13th The Game. It not only would separate itself from that game, but Jason is Human in that movie and very interesting. It is a good reboot cause it ignores Friday The 13th Part 2 and above. It basically was a direct sequel to the first movie and shows that Pamela knew Jason was alive and they lived together. As a child, he saw his mom get beheaded and continued living there in secrecy. Pamela was already crazy and was trying to scare off councillors so that her and Jason could live in peace in their home. Jason continues doing this in the reboot.

It was an ingenious explanation as to why her and Jason killed. It also explained the huge plot hole of how Pamela didn't know Jason was still alive. The reboot also gave a nod to the second movie with Whitney being kidnapped by Jason as he believes she is the reincarnation of his mother and he dresses her in Pamela's sweater and chains her to a basement. Besides the awful ending of the reboot, it was an incredible movie, don't listen to haters. It also was a nod to 13th: Part 6 when Tommy chained Jason to the bottom of the lake. I understand that Whitney is no Tommy Jarvis, no one can replace him, yet the reboot option would be better.

  • I played a lot of difficult games without using any easy games to get to 100,000 gamerscore when 360 was popular and I was much younger. I'm approaching 30 now and I stopped caring about stuff like that cause of more responsibilities and less gaming time. I ended up selling my Xbox to opt for Switch cause Switch is better for short game times. I'm not saying you don't have responsibilities, I'm just saying that they are pointless at the end of the day. Just play the game and enjoy it. A bonus about Switch is that there aren't any trophies or achievements or a messaging system. Just good old gaming.

  • Guy was obviously cosplaying and it was the middle of the day. Leave it to an old journalist that is like "Back in my day".

  • I like rank resets cause it keeps the game fresh and it also gives you something to look forward to every single month. If someone is rushing to get back to high ranks, they are missing the journey.

Legion is a really popular killer and no matter how hard you nerf them they will still be played

The only difference is that the weaker they are the dirtier the build will be

If you hate Legion's using the same build over and over again then you should be advocating for a buff so they can afford chiller builds

I agree with you. He's not terrible and he would be a more played killer if he had buffs. Better perks, knife throwing abilities, etc. I feel he was missed potential from his backstory to his build. He is bottom tier with Clown cause it seems more effort was put into other killers and this is noticable.

I have my problems with taking Streamers as an example for a topic like this.

Some of them are good to learn from them. Some are entertaining, but they are usually not the ordinary gamer.

They put usually a lot more time in the game as the most of us can or like to do.

TL:DR They can't be seen as the usually player.

If Legion had a good buff, he would actually be a great killer. A good Legion can hide their red circle and can appear as a survivor at a distance. I enjoy playing as Legion at times and I once caused 2 people to DC quickly cause they underestimated him as Legion is considered bottom tier. I'd rather his frenzy be scrapped and he be given throwing knives since Huntress has her Hatchets. Legion's perks are also fairly weak as another problem. His rare perk is the ability to open closets faster than others. If he had knives, this perk wouldn't be as useless since he would have to visit them frequently for more knives.

  • I rate it by how much fun I had in that match. Like I encountered a max level bloody Ghostface in a match and he was pretending to help us at the generators. He had a dance off with a Meg and we were cheering. I gave it a 5 star rank. If no one was toxic and it was a good match, regardless if I won or not, I'll rank it 5 stars. I just rate it by fun. As for some Youtubers that make toxic builds and taunt others on the mic, I don't support them. I believe I've seen a video by True Talent and I don't support him. Being competitive is good, being a jerk is bad.

  • He's a fun killer to use and I'd like to see this. Frenzy is just not a favorite of mine. Honestly I feel Legion is a missed opportunity. He should have been a serial killer from the 1960's that was one guy that had a lot of voices in his head. His mask would be half smiling and half frowning to show his different personalities. I just see the team Legion to be lesser versions of Billy and Stu from Scream. Thing is Ghostface's backstory made more sense than Legion's

  • They would probably go for the 2009 reboot version since that version wasn't in Friday The 13th:The Game. The reboot was unique cause it ignored the sequels entirely and it was made as a direct sequel to the first movie where Pamela was getting revenge. So this Jason is Human, just a really strong guy that is a master at stealth. So his perks could be low terror radius and he is good at stalking. The map would obviously be Camp Crystal Lake. Survivor could be Whitney since she was kidnapped for awhile by this Jason as he thought she was a young Pamela. She also uses this to confuse Jason at the end so that her brother can chain Jason up, Whitney stabs Jason in the chest with his machete and he is thrown into the Lake.

  • I agree cause even some killers might get sloppy and useless in due time.

  • As others have stated, that's a pass for me. I believe that the females are shown in a strong light that is appealing to Male gamers like me and also female gamers too. I don't want to see Meg or Feng in lingerie. I feel that their outfits are very normal looking. If someone wants to see the typical look of women with big boobs and butts, they should play Bayonetta or the countless other Japanese games that depict women in that light.

  • I hope that the Wes Estate is sorted out. He was the only killer and Quentin was the only survivor to not be added to the Switch version of the game. The Preschool Map is also not in the game. Shame cause I was looking forward to them. With his reworks, he went from bottom tier to A tier.

  • I don't believe any killer is boring. Every killer, regardless of tier, can be a huge threat if they are practiced with enough. I've seen a Clown dominate my team. I've even seen a Legion dominate my team on Ormond Resort of all places. Some killers obviously have advantages in the right hands and that's what makes them extremely dangerous, like Nurse as an example. Yet just cause Clown and Legion are bottom tier, doesn't make them harmless. I've also dominated as Legion. Every killer is unique and takes sometime to adjust to. Someone trying a new killer out with one perk obviously isn't going to dominate.

  • My least favorite map as survivor, that's for sure. The Doctor and Pyramid Head on that map are a Nightmare. A good Nurse can easily wipe the floor with survivors on that map.

  • @Sir_Bassington said:

least interactive killer during chase, forces immersed playstyles and hard counters are perk and map dependable. when a god billy/Nurse and good huntress steamrolls a team its because the player is good, not the killer, prove me wrong.

Some of the best players in the world call Spirit and Nurse S rank killers. Huntress actually is very map dependent, Spirit isn't. Also I love how you say that she is useless in a chase. Not every killer specializes in chasing, some ambush survivors. If you're constantly in chase as The Pig as an example, you're going to have a bad time. Her special ability is Pouncing from stealth. There are good and bad survivors and killers. It depends on the person and every killer plays differently than the other. Also Huntress is the loudest killer and she has a maximum of 5 hatchets and those require practice to get good with. Spirit and Nurse are much harder to play compared to Huntress, yet they have fewer weaknesses.

How can you time it right when you can't line up a shot well? They nerfed all that made billy skillful, but made the braindead *rev a saw behind them* strat the only one he can use.

You practice with it. Dowsey is one of the best players in the world and Billy is his second Main after Spirit. Even with the reworks, he can still Chainsaw sprint across the map to down a survivor at a gen. Dowsey still says that Billy is an A Tier rank. Nurse got a rework too cause her powers were very OP. Nurse and Spirit are S rank killers. A good Nurse or Spirit will demolish a team. A bad Nurse or Spirit will give the team an easy win. It all requires practice. Blinking is now balanced by a cooldown that forces Nurse to lose line of sight of the survivor if she misses.

  • I actually believe that killer DC should give out a ridiculous amount of blood points. I believe that either one survivor or multiples DC should give out even more Bloodpoints. I don't feel like we get enough. Like in one match, I had two people DC on me cause they were sore losers for quickly going down. I'm sorry, but I apply Math likelyhood situations to find survivors quickly and they didn't like that. I was also Legion, which is by no means an S rank killer. 1,200 quitter bonus is worthless cause you lose points on a potential sacrifice, especially if you sacrifice all four.

1 2 3
