I play on Nintendo Switch and I find this perk very easy to come across. I actually encounter it far more as a survivor than I do as a killer.

No matter if we like the changes or not (i am not a big fan from what i have experienced), but some people i know who played him more on the PTB think he still a good killer. He plays different tho, but stuff like curving is still a thing.
He is saying what I've been saying that the Chainsaw is still deadly, yet you just have to time it right.

It is a bug. Though I've only faced him once in Haddonfield. He definitely has a terror radius. Those that don't are rare stealth killers. He's not a stealth killer. He alongside The Doctor and The Huntress are ranged killers.

Your teammates have a common goal but that's where it stops, If played as intended then the 4k at endgame because survivors are being overly altruistic would never happen.
It depends on the players and their confidence. I was on an indoors map against Pyramid Head. It was just me and Laurie left and we had 2 gens left. I fixed them as she distracted him. When I opened the door she got downed nearby and he was carrying her. Rather than just leave, I distracted him enough to where she broke free and we both escaped. It also varies by playstyle. Like for me as a killer, I hate Huntress. Why ? I like stealth and she isn't stealthy at all cause if her humming. This is why I like playing as The Pig and Ghostface cause they are stealth killers. As a survivor, I'm stealthy. I can't help or save everyone as survivor, but I'll try.

The game was never meant to be a teambased game. It was everyone fend for themselves in the beginning.
That's not exactly true. You get points for helping teammates and healing them. Fixing all of the gens alone can be done, yet it is going to be difficult if killer kills majority of team. I regularly try to help my team cause I want everyone to have fun and succeed. I've never understood the toxicity of this community that seems to drive off a lot of new players. I remember when I was new and I had people helping me hide and follow them. I now try to pay it forward and do the same for others. I helped my whole team (all 4 of us) and I escape when Spirit made me her obsession and I distracted her the whole match. Some of the players were new and got a lot of BP and were really happy.

You just have to know when to apply pressure and when to fold. A survivor that predrops pallets is one that panics easily. Depending on your environment, you might want to let them escape and move on. You don't want to waste too much time on one survivor. Depending on your area, you can take them down by baiting them to Vault over a downed pallet. You can't do this in every situation though as they will just vault over and over before you can reach them. I remember when there was one guy left in Meat Factory and I was Legion. I kept applying pressure to him as the end clock was ticking. I baited him to Vault and downed him. I carried him and then dropped him so Entity could have him. So it is all situational. As for Ormond Resort, that's one of my least favorite maps as killer and survivor. I don't like the layout.

It's hilarious how many times so far I've been accused of camping, when I literally just hook a survivor, and spot another survivor or their trail (seemingly going for the save) almost immediately.
Like what am I supposed to do? Just let them unhook them without any resistance? If you want to beat my "camping" and unhook them, how about this? Try harder. Use your head, and maybe sneak in instead of being obvious, or in one case literally running right into me as I'm leaving lol...
Lol this happened to me as Legion on Deathslinger's Wild West map. I would hook a survivor and less than 10 seconds later, someone would race over there to unhook them and then I'd down both. I actually had a Meg try to sabotage the hook when I was right there carrying a survivor and I stabbed her and she fled. I won and they were like "Camper !" I'm like, I don't camp. You get little Bloodpoints for that and I like giving everyone a fair shot at the match. I'm very much like Jigsaw as a killer with allowing people to play The Game. People will be people, lol.

Hoping its unlicenced. Got plenty of ideas regarding unlicensed killers but then so does everybody else.
Left field Ideas for licensed killers would be;
Demon from Insideous
Headless horseman from sleepy hollow
Scarecrow from Batman
Tabitha from the ring
Scarecrow is kind of mimicked by The Doctor already with mind manipulation, plus Scarecrow has never been a serial killer as far as I'm aware. Tabitha would be cool if she was used right, yet her movements might be a problem. I just see her as another problem like Freddy Kruger.
Besides Candyman, I'd love to see Jeepers Creepers and The Farmer. Alma and the main character from Fear 2:Project Origin. Both are from Fear and she would be an interesting killer.

Cornered survivors? WoW and when they are opening doors too? WOW! No #########, now that is skilled play.
Was this necessary ? Did I ever say that I was an amazing killer ? I said that the Chainsaw still has use, it isn't useless.
1. A survivor can panic and end up in a dead end. There are some in Meat Factory and Elementary School
2. It takes time to open the escape door and a good chainsaw hit can down them, which is what I did. Throughout the match, Ace was a good player and was very good at hiding. I had no perks activated cause I wanted to do a vanilla match. I took out his team and he was the last left. Rather than hit him with the hammer, which would have injured him. I chainsawed him and incapped him. Since it was end game since he was opening the door, I got a late sacrifice and no struggle for him. It was a good play. Maybe don't quote people and act high and mighty.

I hope not. Rumors hint that Candyman will be the killer and I hope that is true. No I don't want FNAF in this game either. It would be too goofy.

Billy is still my main killer. Seriously, use the Chainsaw situationally. It isn't weak if you time it right. You also can release it quickly for a short attack. His cattle hammer is still amazing also. I've used the Chainsaw situationally and it is still a good attack. Cornered survivors at a dead end ? Yep. A survivor trying to open the escape door ? Yep. To scare a survivor away that was trying to revive a fallen teammate ? Yep.

Sometimes the smack-talk can actually sour it for them, if played right.
One time, one person was gloating as The Hag, as I was the last survivor downed, saying "You won't escape this round". I reasoned with them that ultimately I would bleed out, so their aim of making sure I won't escape would ultimately prove fruitless. Even when they tried to understand the logic, they made it so that their aim was for me not to escape, but as I pointed to them this was not possible they became more irritated, calling me r******d & even though I was hooked I claimed victory based on their terms. They weren't happy :D
Another time, another survivor in a SWF decided it was important for me to know they were teabagging at the exit gates when opened (I 1k'd, which was alright by me considering). I started to use my psychology training, turning it around and asking them why it was so important for them to let me know and trying to understand what they were compensating for. They became annoyed, eventually calling me "freak" and leaving.
Basically, if anyone is needlessly bitter or salty, if you take your emotions out of it and focus on tactical or clever-dick responses, what they originally believed would be rubbing salt into the wound ultimately sours their victory.
I play in a respectful way and I had a Cheryl dressed as a Nurse try to teabag and act toxic to me. I basically played stupid and let her escape often to pretend that I was a bad player. Then I took the team out and then took her down and teabagged them as they were struggling and then taken away by the Entity. They weren't happy at all. So yeah use reverse psychology on them at times

Billy is still my main killer. You just can't rely on the Chainsaw too much. His cattle hammer attacks are still good. After hitting a survivor with it, he quickly gets blood off, and the best part is that he doesn't lose line of sight of the survivor either. As others have said, you have to think when is the best time to use the chainsaw. I've had a survivor try to open the escape door as he was the last one left and I used the chainsaw and instantly took him down. On a different map on Meat Factory, I had a survivor panic and rush upstairs to a dead end and then I chainsawed him and took him down.

its even easier on xbox. You dont even have to be friends with someone to send them a message or spam them with party invites while theyre still in their game even. Happens to me all the time as killer. Some even go as far as spamming party invites so im getting constantly notified while im still playing. This community is so bad i swear and its the survivors. Ive never gotten salt from killers post game lol. EVER
From my encounters, I definitely see a lot of salt from survivors that instigate this stuff. The only times I see a killer act toxic is from a Ghostface. I see survivors taunting new killers or people trying out a new killer quite often. I've seen people even wait inches from the exit to taunt the new killer. I never do this BS as Killer or Survivor. I'm thinking "Bro, just exit the match". Obviously someone trying out a level 1 killer isn't going to be all powerful as them. Some killers are good at stealth, others are good at ranged and still others are good as full on assault. Obviously someone that is used to Trapper isn't going to be amazing as Ghostface for the first time cause Ghostface is a stealth killer and his knife has a limited range to hit.
-
Like all killers, it depends on who is playing him. A good Pyramid Head can be a huge threat cause of his dark manipulation abilities that can keep others away from a hooked survivor. Plus his cage of Judgement ability is also strong. My advice is to try to hide from him for as long as possible. If you get in a chase with him, try to stay near cover and listen for when he is about to use his ranged sword attack, then make a sharp turn to avoid it. I've played against him on outdoor maps and indoor maps. You definitely want to hope that you face him outside. I've won against him in Nurse's Hospital and it was a close game between me and one survivor with 2 gens left. Indoor maps have a lot of narrow hallways, especially Elementary School on Silent Hill.

I got this game last month and have been hooked and ended up buying all of the dlc. I put in a lot of hours cause of this pandemic. It is really addictive. I'll probably take a break from it soon.
-
I play on Switch and avoid this stuff. No messaging system and no one uses mics. Best just to block people like that and move on. If they are so upset, maybe they should learn from their mistakes or accept that the map wasn't for them. Even the best killers or survivors aren't going to win every single match. I laugh how some killers will end the match immediately cause they didn't get the map that they wanted. One of the best Huntress players in the world on PC does this.
-
Camping is actually a bad strategy if the team is competent. Most people know that jumping from a hook is bad and so if someone hooks a survivor and hangs around, they could end up losing a lot of survivors that way if gens are being worked on. If someone camps and are being toxic, that's the card shuffle for that match.
-
Candyman is rumored and I hope he is next. So my answer would be
Killer. Candyman
Survivor. Caroline.
I'm glad that there won't be anymore dlc with only a killer. It was a shame that Leatherface and Ghostface didn't have survivor companions.

Different maps appeal to different people. Some maps are good for killers and some maps are good for survivors. If someone is a main killer, the map will decide how successful they will be. The Dr's lab and Elementary School from Silent Hill are my absolute least favorite. If I'm a survivor, I'm going to love Spirit's Home. If I'm a killer, I'm going to hate that map. If I'm a survivor, I'm going to hate the Meat factory. If I'm a killer, I'm going to love it. The Laboratory and Elementary School should go though.
