He was trash at chases. 3 Gens popped during the only chase he had. The other downs he got was from camping of course which takes no skill especially when you’re throving mini buses around.
This explains why he basement camped. If 3 gens pop when you finish your first chase youre WAY behind as killer.

friend i took only 1 dc that day ... it wasn't many
Then you need to submit a ticket cause you shouldnt get a 72 hour ban for 1 dc
-
I dont dispute he got an error that caused his game to crash and recieved a dc penalty for it. I just very seriously doubt he got it so many times in a single day that he ended up with a 72 hour ban.
-
Uh, if youre penalty is that high you earned that #########. Enjoy it and stop dcing in the future
-
You gave 1 perk like 4 different upsides, with the only downside is they cant heal (something half the playerbase above rank 4 doesnt do anyway).
On top of that the stacks arent that difficult to get and tge reward is breaking a hex totem instantly which in and of itself i think is a bad idea.

Wrong! I was on Haddonfield and jumped through a window and made it to the edge of the ledge to jump off. Freddy was still standing at the window and he recorded the hit. Hitboxes are very broken. My ping was green by the way.
Uh thats not hit box issue 😂 either you connection was screwy, the killers was screwy or there was an issue with the server.
-
What if there were two different blood webs, one for perks and one for items. Maybe simple as that 🤷♂️
-
I think they need to do something. It is a lot. Lots of discussions around what they should do and Idk what the best ootion is, but SOMETHING needs to give. I cant imagine trying to pick tge game up for the first time today
-
I think increasing the time it takes to disarm them to 3 seconds is fair. I dont think it should be removed entirely.
If its a real problem for you run franklins and prioritize the person with flashlight.
It would be interesting to hear @SpaceCoconut thoughts on this though

Heh, I went back and did an old tome challenge last night. "Hook 2 survivors in the basement in a single trial using the perk Agitation"
So I hopped on Trapper, got in a game, and headed straight for the basement. Barely moved from there all game. Sure enough, someone eventually found their way to the area, got trapped, and got hooked.
From there the game fell apart as every survivor wanted their unhook points, and ultimately became a 3k with the 4th person getting out by the skin of their teeth after also trying their hand at the basement rescues.
Sometimes you win because you played really well, and sometimes you win because your opponent(s) played really poorly. 🤣
Yup, it happens both ways. That game i got screwed cause they were very efficient with gens AND the first 2 gens i came across that were being worked on I couldnt find the survivors (i was panicking a little because id played against them before and got waxed, knew they were gen rushers).
At the very end i had 3 in dying state around basement, they were FOR SURE dead, claudette was HAULING ASS towards the open gate, I managed to down her about 5 feet from it. Hooked her and another and we all watched the timer end together. This was a fight to the very bitter end

I am a rank 1 survivor and killer, ive also been playing since the saw chapter release.
Ive set a new rule for myself, if im down to 1 gen left and ive only gotten 1 or 2 hooks (either because i ######### up and did poorly or because swf gen rush had gens done stupid quick, either way) Im dragging someone into the basement and were having a party. Its part of the game
These were really good survivors, they had gens 3 gens done in like 2 minutes. I dragged one in the basement and it became a dog fight. Notice my points, i pipped that game. My point is, ITS PART OF THE GAME. In the current meta its even encouraged. I dont mean 1st hook camping with 5 gens left, thats stupid, but when your backs against the wall its a VIABLE option.
That leads us to bubba. Bubba sucks largely. You know (being youre a r1) that a lot of bubbas face camp and run noed. Idk why its even a suprise to anyone at this point.
Edited to add: im 95% sure that r13 was a smurf they were using to get noob killers. Im 100% sure they were a 4 man.

Stole it from Monto awhile back and have stuck to it since. The Legion pin applies broken, meaning you guarentee SOME value from Thana for awhile.
Oh I love the broken pin, for sure his best add on, I also increase duration of feral frenzy cause it seems stupid short otgerwise

I so follow content creators and sometimes watch streams but yeah it seems the matchmaking issue is known about and should be fixed soon so I'm not worried about that too much, I do play a few killers so I'll try stick to 1 and get better 😁
I have no idea how the mechanics of the red stain work exactly but I'll figure it out 😋
Basically the red stain is always in front of you, so once you understand the pathing survivors take you can walk backwards around corners so survivors dont see the light till youve already come around. Takes a bit of practice for sure.
-
M&A, Bbq, pgtw, then either discordance (allows you to stalk multiple survivors at once) or infectious fright (quick snowball during t3).
Hinestly you could drop bbq and use discordance and infectious fright (or pgtw), but i always run bbq for points.
-
As others have stated, match making is being fixed, for now dont worry about the W, just practice landing hits against jukes and learning to play the tiles. A big thing is practicing learning to hide your red stain. Youll mess up but so what, like i said doesnt matter if you 4k rn.
-
I like going against pig, I always try and boop the snoot 😊

I've always been confused by how the DH perk icon will highlight and dim throughout the match. What's the point of this? Why can't it just be lit while the totem is still on the map and then go dim once cleansed, ya know, like almost all other totem perks? If you play with multiple totem perks it can become a little confusing to tell if DH is still in the game once totems start popping. Not a game breaking issue obviously, but something I'd like to see fixed.
It lights up so you know youre far enough away to get a stack (32 meters). Took me forever to realize that so dont feel bad. And once you know that, its very obvious to know why it should stay how it is. Combine with MYC to play like an absolute dick 😊

Survivor:
- Self Care—There are so many faster, better ways of healing.
- Urban Evasion—If you actually know where and when to crouch, you don't need this Perk.
- Better Together—Encourages grouping up and gives you and your team data that isn't usually helpful. It's Bond+Prove Thyself thrown into a melting pot and made substantially worse.
- Windows of Opportunity—"Duh" -Billboard Eyeliner
- Literally any of Dwight's Perks—Bond is for people who can't be self-sufficient, Prove Thyself is just Better Together but it tries to mitigate the ineffectiveness of grouping up on gens, and Leader is... Leader is Leader.
Killer:
- NOED—You're either using it because you can't pressure gens or because you're playing any non-ranged Killer who isn't Spirit at red ranks and good Survivors are literally completely immortal while gens fly. 99% of time, though, it's the former.
- Whispers—You wouldn't need it if you had good tracking and game sense.
- Zanshin Tactics—Windows of Opportunity for Killers.
- All of Legion's Perks—Discordance is to Whispers as Prove Thyself is to Better Together, Mad Grit is Agitation but worse in every aspect and is only useful if you can't hit people while carrying, and Iron Maiden is only useful if you spend way too much time checking lockers—or you just hate Head On, which is fair.
- Beast of Prey—Makes Bloodlust stronger. Enough said.
Discordance is an amazing perk what are you on about 👀
-
You guys dont like it cause its pandering. Normal people dont like being pandered too. Its insulting almost. You see it with songs too. Some douchnozzle poser pretending to be something hes not and throwing as many buzz words as he can in. I have a theory thats why everyone hates nickelback. Pandering posers.
-
I was thinking about this the otger day, would be so bad ass, but would need a lot of changes since survivor would need to be 1st person
-
I would say yes if i hadnt gone through the trouble of getting them all already. If they change it your acheivement better come with an asterick 🤬

I dont like playing as demo because of the mother ######### screaming every ######### 10 seconds. Like holy ######### bro, we get it, youre a bad ass cause you slapped someone. Get over it already and chill tf out.

I’m not even gonna lie...I have farmed a bit with Huntress because I’m terrible with her and since she has a new challenge out, I see it as my opportunity to farm for the “Skilled Huntress” trophy.
Usually I’ll message one survivor and they are more than willing to help me out, they are typically in a group. Some people catch onto what I’m doing during the round and we just farm.
I don’t farm often...actually I never farm unless the survivors initiate it and I’m in a good mood. But this opportunity with Huntress is too good to pass up.
Plus I’m sick and drained of sweaty matches.
Ha! I did that today, farmed for that acheivdment

I know right! I was playing against twitcher who said he's been practicing flashlight saves, so I decided to take this perk again and my god how good it is! But anyway I trying not to get used to this and take it only vs potential bullies sometimes.
Yeah i only bring it if i see more than 2 flashlights. Ive found its not really necessary vs 1 or 2.
-
@kaeru said:
We talking about perks that annoys your opponent or perks for beginners?
When I was a beginner killer i've been facing a lot of bullies so I used Unrelenting and Lightborn which helps me a lot back in a days. These are really noob perks.
As survivor I often used Stake Out because it helps a lot with old Hex Ruin. I can consider it as a noob perk.
Lightborne isnt a noob perk. Its one of the most underrated perks out there. Next time you see 3 or 4 flashlights in your lobby pull that bad boy out and watch what happens. Youd THINK survivors would realize what youre doing, sadly its very rare they do

They're both bullshit. Moris are a bigger problem than keys, but both should be reworked nonetheless.
From what ive seen keys are used way more commonly and can be found on the map. Not sure how that equates to moris being worse.
-
@survivormain1105 said:
so played a game had a key to help do a stupid tome challenge. It's cool killer brings a mori with both pink and purple addons. So my question is whats the difference between surviors using a key and a killers using the most powerful addons against us. Keys are only powerful in the endgame but pink addons are useful the entire game. Yes keys our bad in the game but so our most pink addons.
Your turn. Thanks 😊
Theres no difference between a key and a mori (depending on how those things are used)
Add ons are something else entirely. Hell a lot of the best add ons are green/yellow/brown anyway.

I've been playing this game for a couple of months now and I've managed to work my way to level 13 killer (not bad considering I only have a few hours a day to play this game😊). But it's gotten to the point to where I keep facing red rank swf and...it's not fun anymore. Nothing worse than approaching the exit door and seeing all four survivors lined up in a row teabagging you as they walk out (true story!).
Recently I leveled up Freddy to the point to where I really want to play him, but all I keep getting matched up against are red ranks. It's nice to think if this game considers me to be that good, but I know I'm not! LOL
Is anyone else a little too apprehensive to play killer? I find playing as a lone survivor far less nerve-wracking, because I'd rather be paired up with a red rank instead of going up against them.
Honestly ignore the ranks. A lot of tge survivors in red dont belong there. Theyre also fixing matchmaking so it WILL get better.
For now, dont worry about winning. Focus instead on just landing more hits and learning what the survivors do. The routes they take, the tricks they pull etc etc. Learning killer is a marathon, not a sprint.
As far as the tbagging at the exit gates, join them. Dance around, slap a few, its whatever. Youll get used to it overtime

Flashlights are probably in the bottom % of used items by survivors. The chances you hit a killer in a chase etc are slim especially when they see it and just move their head around. I think it needs a rework to how the beam works. I am not saying it needs a buff or something to make it to where you stun every time, I'm just saying a more effective use like with the party starters and fireworks effectiveness would be nice. Thoughts?
I feel like were playing different games. I see people run flashlights all the time. In fact i bet at least 90% of my games at least 1 survivor has one.
And youre not supposed to be able to turn around in the middle of a chase and blind the killer. That would be a buff and would be stupid af. Drop a pallet, use it while theyre breaking it, or go for flashlight saves. Those are your options and believe me theyre more than enough

It wasn't done away with at all. Read my post, it is still entirely too strong. If it takes you until everyone is dead to finish a gen, it's basically forever.
I love how you say "you're wrong" when Forever Freddy is indeed very much a thing and the build is still ridiculously strong.
I did read your post, I dont agree with you that its overpowered. Ive been in solo where weve beaten it and ive vmbeen beaten while running it. "Forever Freddy" was a build that no longer exists. But keep chanting it if it makes you feel better.

Survivors could easily exploit that by just getting the crows on purpose.
That sounds like a lot of afk to try and exploit something that would be super niche and not last long

When he kicks a gen with Pop and thus adds another 33 seconds to the gen each time, not counting the extra regression from chasing you away from the gen and then repeating the process on the next survivor, it is indeed forever. By the time you actually finish a gen, 3 survivors are on death hook and that's the ONLY gen done.
I play this build exactly for the reason that's it's absurdly overpowered. I reserve my Freddy for toxic SWF or dailies. All I need to do is hit a few survivors and get a few hooks to pretty much negate any progress the survivors have made. I only need Thana, Sloppy, Pop, and Outdoor Rope for it to be mostly effectively against most groups. If you also use Dying Light, Jump Rope, and Swing Chains it becomes even stronger.
Yes, its effective, no its not forever. Forever freddy was done away with. We can both just keep repeating ourselves that doesnt make you any less wrong.
