Sounds like fun. Im down. Me and @RaSavage42 could probably do work as survivors

Just curious, because I’ve seen a lot of people using the cakes still for the 140% bonus and I have used them that way as well when I have lots on one character/killer.
I still have plenty so I’ll be using them every game once fixed, who’s with me? Can I look forward to a weekend full for 500% and more BP nearly every game
Yup, got a ton. Ive been using them to get more
-
Yeah this game highlights wonderfulky the issue with gen speeds. But what they did here can be done without a swf group if you have survivors running kindred and committed to getting gens done. Ive been on teams where weve gen rushed the ######### out of the killer and we were solos

It has to do with last minute switch. If the killer decides to switch to another one in the last moment, it seems to mess with the endgame screen

I really like his gameplay as is. I dont think he needs a rework. I do however think its stupid that if I stab someone I lose some of my power gauge, not sure the reasoning behind that but it can get annoying. I also think legion should have bloodhound built in during ff mode as it fits with the character and if i cant see scratch marks at least give me that. The duration of FF should also be a touch longer and fov should be increased during ff. Sounds like a lot but these are all minor tweeks to numbers except the bloodhound bit. Doesnt qualify as a rework in the same vain as fred or doc

There's only 3 killers in the game like this. Trapper, wraith, and to an extent ghostface. Trapper only needs a 3k trapper bag. Wraith needs a couple yellow add-ons. Ghostface needs a 3k recovery add-on.
The problem isn't as bad as you make it out to be; especially since add-ons are so cheap if you run BBQ on a semi regular basis.
Bubba, pig for sure too. Im sure theres others. Youre down playing it a little. Bubba f'in SUCKS with out carb and beast marks
-
Yeah adding secondary objectives is the way to go

I've already suggested many times to have an option for survivors to be able to avoid SWF teams as teammates. What about an age group separation in matchmaking so that you don't keep getting 12 year olds as teammates who have no idea what they are doing?
What 12 year old admits to being a 12 year old? That ######### didnt keep me out of porn when I was 10 its not going to stop a 12 year old from joining your game.

The last midchapter helped, but if youre not playing Billy, Freddy, Nurse or Spirit, you might as well not even play at high ranks tbh.
I play other killers at r1 all the time. Im not saying match speeds arent an issue but tge teams that run the gens optimally are kind of low.

Yeah I was afraid of that. I was running it with my Freddy, but it slowly dawned on me that it's probably a worthless perk once the survivors are asleep. I'll probably run Overcharge which would be a nice combo with PGTW. So my build would be overcharged, BBQ, PGTW, and discordance.
Thats a good build. Really that overcharge slot can be just about anything so try out a few things till you find something that really suits you. Even a hex perk like devour hope cause if it gets broke so what.

I git 180000 points a few games ago. Im good

Stop complaining about tunneling.
There's no such thing as "tunneling". If you can't stop yourself from getting caught, you can only blame yourself for being B A D, not killers for doing the only thing the game gives them to do - which is to kill survivors.
That ^

I had a lot of fun with knockout + honing stone on trapper the other day

After playing a variety of killers I reached rank 1 on PlayStation but how is anyone supposed to learn another killer from the start when matched up with being a rank 1 killer?
There were discussions about changing this but like SWF balancing... now nothing
If you got to r1 once, you can get there again. Just go into the game knowing youre going to get stomped. Who cares? No biggie

@xCarrie said:
Both killer and survivor, what do you consider a win and what do you consider as losing a game?
Just a random question I had.
0 kills i got demolished.
1 kill loss
2 kills could see it as a win or loss or draw depending on survivors/rng/what happened in general
3 kills win
4 kills demolished
Survivor idc, i measure my success based on bps and pips but winning/losing doesnt matter to me. Neither does escape or die

It says a lot that a survivor main doesn't like the new key idea lol I just think it still gives survivors cheap escapes. I don't want to be playing well, only having 2 gens left then just seeing both survivors escape.
What I meant about the moris was that a lot of people have said this. It's not Pupprs idea. I think hooking everyone once seems fair.
Gotcha. My thought was purple key only allows the holder to escape, pink allows all to escape, hatch no longer appears until 1 survivor is left or all gens are completed. The key itself is whatever, its when the hatch appears that i think is really a problem. Either that OR keys can no longer be obtained through the blood web and stats are changed so finding one in a chest is like 1 in a million (literally). So its like actually like winning the lottery.
Id remove mori's from the bloodweb and have it so all killers can mori 2 survivors that are on death hook.
-
@CashelP14 said:
I disagree heavily with the key part. The mori part pretty much everyone has said but the key one I couldn't disagree with higher.

When I try to blind a killer with a full flashlight and can't I just give up! It's so embarrassing I dont want to be in the match anymore.
Drop pallet, blind when they kick it. This serves as practice. Eventually youll be good enough to do it in the open when safe

Nope, i didnt pick up on it lol tbf im half asleep
-
@ggezbaby yeah i have the same experience on xbox, but i dont mind it. If its obvious the survivors are noobs i take it easier and farm points, if im red survivor with low rank teammates its a challange/practice at keeping the killer occupied
-
The only OoO users i respect are the ones that also run no mither.
-
@xenotimebong said:
What do you mean? OoO is totally a high risk, high reward perk. It’s not like you can just counter-rotate and position yourself away from the killer and only take chases when you’re in strong areas of the map, right? Or run Sprint Burst and dash away to a safe loop when they approach you, causing them to waste enough time chasing you that your teammates are free to do gens in peace. It’s not like OoO is a lose-lose for the killer in which they either ignore you and let you have wallhacks on them all game, or chase you and let you buy tons of time for your team.
Nah, its literally the only perk thats broken af. The only people that like this perk are stealth killers and tge PEOPLE that run it. Ds, unbreakable, bt, all of them are whatever. This perk sucks

I see this all the time no matter which side im on.

Well it would be helpful if you at least had a clue where to go, which floor you are on, and where the gens are. In the other indoor maps you can at least have a clue with the flickering lights, but that's for some reason not the case on this new map
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1399163#Comment_1399163
Getting lost and frustrated isn't playing differently. How do you play this map that's different from any other map in the game? Don't do gens but instead do the children's homework assignments that they left in their lockers??
You have to rely on stealth and tricking the killer way more than looping. And i dont know how you get lost in a giant square. The ONLY change this map needs is stairs in every corner. Thats it.
-
Agreed

Yeah but thats a pain in the dick on most maps. Its a problem with the perk not the map

You need to think that how is it fair to face with red rank killers as rank 12 killer? It's really unfair for that person. Also the most SWF teams and toxic builds are can be find in red ranks with no doubt.
Huh? Where did i imply it was fair? What im saying is the problem isnt necessarily a lack of red killers, the problem is matchmaking, as evidenced by the screenshot i showed where i as a red rank killer got matched against a bunch of noobs

Come on Peanits, the new map is highly disliked, there will always be contrarians obviously but it objectively poor for gameplay
I think its great. You have to play it a little different. It cracks me up because people complain about the game getting stale, the devs introduce a map that requires you play a little differently and you guys complain about that too
-
Point being lack of red killers might not be the issue

Looking for maybe playstyle tips or perk builds.
I'm rank 11 and can't seem to get above rank 10
Even using the salty perks like
No one escapes death (noed)
Hex ruin
Hex devour hope
Blood warden
These perks help me and personally I enjoy perks that work in the background which I don't have to use like pop goes the weasel or overcharge.
I go against red ranks every single game so casual builds are a no go.
If there's any rank one doctor mains id love some advice or if anybody has anything helpfull
Yeah you need a better build, that ones no good (no offense). If youre playimg against reds you really should run pop.
But. Give crack doc a try if you have the perks. Hes fun albeit not super competitive. Run bbq, fire up, enduring, stbfl (you can switch stbfl for brutal).

Ahem

It says very clearly in the description you can work as a team or not. It is your choice. You're assuming that I don't do what I can to help my team. I do everything I can. But their depip or death doesn't effect mine.
A good comparison is amateur wrestling. You might win your match. While the team as a whole loses that night. In that case I won. The team didn't.
I wasnt assuming anything. The wrestling thing is a good example. I can go with that.

A survivors success isn't tied to their team. Them getting wrecked has no bearing on how I did.
Yes but a win or loss is team based. You may have done well, you may have escaped, but as a team you still lost. A baseball player can be the mvp of the night and still tske an L if tge rest of his team sucked that night. This mentality you have is tge reason survivors take it personally when a killer camps or tunnels. Its why they beg for a lot of the nerfs and make a lot of tge complaints they do. You see this game as 1v1, its not. Its a 4v1. You lost.

Because perks = skill, let's be real here it doesn't matter whether or not you have every perk in the game, what matters is game knowledge and planning I have faced so many killers that had a lot of various perks and I beat them easily, because they were a low ranking killer that had little to no knowledge on the various components of the game and it's game-play. You are gate-keeping, because you think all rank 19s need to come into the game with only one perk, this could easily be someone who is still learning the game as it's quite easy to get teachable perks now especially during the event or within the shrine.
Nah, hes almost a devotion 2, hes not a 19. 15 I could buy, but im not buying that hes still a 19 with those perks and that devotion

Use your bottles, throw it in front of them. If youre out it MIGHT be worth it to reload and chase someone else

Okay that makes sense I guess. I just chased this Kate all the way around lerys along the edge of the map for what felt like forever. I only stopped to break one pallet because I absolutely had to, it was the one that completely blocks the hallway, and the chase took forever to catch up to her. I checked perks afterward and all she had was sprint burst.
What killer were you playing as?

@thrawn3054 said:

Yeah see, THIS guy I feel sorry for

@madradfox said:
Are you suggesting that because you are rank 19, it would have been more fair for you to go up against rank 18-20 survivors?
Have you looked at your:
- Perks
- Killer Level
- Player Level
You look like a player who has leveled up his killer to max level, three out of four perks are at III, and has clearly played enough DBD to know enough about the game mechanics to not make it fair to survivors at 18-20, the same way leveled up survivors playing at 18-20 should not be matched with a new rank 20 killer.
Perhaps devs are trying to teach you a valuable lesson in humility.
Ha. I didnt even see his devotion 😂 nice catch.
Op you need to get your rank up. Its truly awful what youre doing
-
Yeah but lets be real, youre not actually a rank 19. You should be higher. Youve got perks from 3 different killers there, and 3 of those perks are triple stacked. Youve been playing longer than a week and it wouldnt take you longer than that to be higher. Matchmaking did to you what you were trying to do to legit 19s. Im just not feeling sympathy here. Ifeel bad for the legit 19s and 20s it puts me up against
