If you would remove the slow when bubba charges his chainsaw he would very easily be one of the strongest killer. If you ever had 3 stacks of PWYF on Bubba you would know how little counterplay there is to that.
One of, but not thee strongest, so hed still be acceptable

Bbq, pgtw and discordance. The 4th slot is a freebie do whatever you want. Sloppy is a good option, third seal is a great optiin, Surveillance, almost anything really. Add ons run at least 1 rope. Personally i really like dream pallets but thats up to you.

Yup, you're right, and why I posted for discussion as I was thinking a bit too narrowly. We probably posted at the same time-ish.
Modified the idea to require a teammate to rescue, but keeping the spawn away mechanic. To compensate for that element of immediate safety, they spawn broken and increasingly injured/vulnerable.
As I mentioned to Orion, I am legitimately interested in the discussion and don't take offense to criticism so I am curious if you think that would make things better. It would still change the meta approach for killers and survivors, but I think it would make the game more frantic and tense for everybody while reducing the incentive to camp/tunnel.
And I am 100% a killer main and not looking to make the game harder or more frustrating than it already is for killers, lol - I personally don't think camping is a huge problem as it's basically a killer forfeit unless the survivors play into it and I also don't believe "tunneling" is a thing as going after injured survivors is exactly what a killer should prioritize. I do, however, see the point that both of these things can be incredibly unpleasant for survivors so I am just brainstorming (for fun, I don't think too much attention is really paid to these kinds of posts) how the mechanics could be tweaked to make things better for everybody.
I think if you do that you kind of screw the unhooked survivor. As theyre now left in the middle of no where with no way to be healed.
As far as camping/tunneling is concerned im not sure theres much you can do about it as there are situations where those strats are legit and even necessary.
Tge only thing i can think of that would be fair is if you reduced tge number of hooks everyone needs down to 2 instead of 3 and then force a failed state if the killer is with 24 meters of the hooked survivor for more than 15 seconds. But even then youre kind of screwing the pooch because what if the nearest hook is right in the middle of the 3 gen?
I think the best approach is for people to stop seeing the game as a 1v1 and start seeing it as a 4v1 as it is. I had a baby wraith camping a teammate a couple of games ago, hed been camping the whole game so i traded hooks with the guy and once there was room suicided so they would leave (doors were open) and not risk giving him a 3k. Ive been tunneled numerous times today, never once did I get tilted about it. Its part of the game and as long as my team is doing gens the killer is getting punished for it.
-
@JustCats said:
@Nurgling7 Well, ideally you would free the killer to apply pressure more directly to the gens since they wouldn't need to be concerned about hook rescues as much. No pressure to proxy, no time wasted running back to an unhook location.
Thats not how any of this works. When you hook a survivor and go chase snother survivor, a third survivor has to come off the gen to unhook. Youre pressuring 3 survivors at once when you either hook or slug. Thats why camping is a bad idea, because when you face camp 1 survivir youre only pressuring 1 survivor. This idea screws good killers

I never use Blood Warden without Remember Me.
I actually found those 2 to be counterintuitive. You want them open tge gate themselves. Any decdntly smart survivor is going to know what youre doing when they see Remember me or open the gate yourself
@OP, Honestly i think blood warden kind of sucks. I good end game build is noed and Remember Me, Rancors good too.

More killers at once are not really likely. Survivors are βonlyβ skins and they needed to make more perks.
Designing a killer with a new power and all the interactions and interferences with Perks is way more work compared to survivors. But they could of course make multiple chapters based on Stephen Kings works.
Keep in mind legendary skins are a thing now. So you could for instance have a skin of jason for trapper or pennywise for clown without needing to create all new powers

Over the last month ive been tracking my stats with different killers. Pig outperformed Freddy and Doc:
(Ignore the totals at the top the software is adding the averages together, the averages next to the killer are whats important).
Theres a few variables to consider like the average ranks of the survivors were slightly higher against pig so the survivors werent AS good and then theres the builds to consider (fred i was running end game build so nothing slowdown) but even with those things taken into consideration I think this highlights just how underrated she is. And I can tell you while actually playing the games I felt like she had a little more consistent control and I could make plays (like ambushing people i saw going for the unhook) I couldnt do with the others. Even just look at the average match length, hers is longer.
I did 15 games per killer and used the same buikds for that specific killer for all 15 games including add ons.

I don't even see how you could tell if a killer is using a bot. I've seen drunk people playing killer and they're horrible, of course. Unless the killer told you he used a bot?
Never play killer drunk, i learned that lesson

Only if you're able to get downs and force the other survivors to recuse/abandon gens. If you don't get the initial pressure going Ruin + Surveillance won't help you at all.
If you arent able to get downs very few perks are going to help you and you should be focusing on addressing that before worrying about what perks to run π€·ββοΈ

personally i love playing as the pig, I'm actually a P3 pig and I've been playing her for awhile. i feel like she's an underrated killer that just needs the right perks and add-ons to win a game. i kinda like the build i have with her but i wanna change up one of the perks for pop. I don't wanna buy the clown and grind so I'm hoping it's for sale later on in the shop. (recent game i just played)
Yeah you need to get some better perks for her. Not just pop. Like ma, whispers, bbq, nurses, theres z bunch.

Sorry if you mentioned this and I missed it, but of youre just trying to get the length and width of things, survivors move at exactly 4 meters per second. So you could go into a kyf as a survivor and walk the map/tiles and get the length/width of tikes and the maps that way. Youd need someone playing killer running a stop watch but should be doable

Taking a piss yes, but everything else should be done before youre in lobby

Wraith can literally run every slowdown perk that exists in the game.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/C4QNEYILDCN9/sweatin-png.png
You could run corrupt, ruin, thanta, dying light, sloppy butcher on a killer running around with 146% movespeed getting free hits at any generator unless the survivors all have spine chill. Wraith does not need any tracking perks. You could dump ruin for pop goes but I find ruin to be really good on high mobility killers.
Ill try that build sometime, never ran that on him. See my response right above this one though.
Id probably switch out CI for pop, i hate ci. I hate dying light too but id try it i guess.

Being able to traverse the map faster is a huge deal. The Pig can't pressure the map as well as him.
Yeah but once hes done moving from A to B hes the most basic ######### of m1 killers. His real power is in being able to get that first hit before they can reach a pallet, because once they do youre in loop hell. Running double windstorms your movement is stupid slow while uncloaking making it slightly harder to do that. Map pressure, while being super important, is not everything if there isnt a way to end chases.
Pigs map pressure comes from her rbts. When rng doesnt screw you you're pressuring most of the survivors at the same time. She can also cut loops short if youre good with her dash attack by either dashing or faking the dash.
Pigs only downfall is is the consistency in her traps and how long they take to get off. Wraiths problem is hes the most m1 killer of all m1 killers once he uncloaks

Not a toxicity defenser but technically you didnt kill them if they died on ground , you losed points
Plus as slugging is also considered toxic, youre not better than them so pointless thread except the will of having your ego licked by others killers main
But killas good and survivors bad uh ??
Slugging isnt toxic π letting them bleed out on purpose is, but no, slugging in and of itself isnt toxic

Wraith has a lot more mobility than Pig. She has her ambush, sure, but Wraith isn't slowed down by his stealth power.
Pig is absolutely better imo. Neither has great map pressure but everything about pig is better except he can move faster whike cloaked

I dig it

I agree it should be a 4k.
That said just depip on the 12th, reset will push you back further, get your adept in yellow then enjoy slaughtering your way back to red. Believe it or not youll appreciate the red ranks more as you realize easy 4ks every game is boring af

What?
Are you forgetting Wraith's existence? One good build does not mean that a character is strong.
Idk, i tracked my stats with her over 15 games and my kill sverage was higher than my average with freddy and doc. Granted it was onky 15 games each. Wraith has been the worst so far though so youre not off there

But the thing is that the dc penalty has no purpose if a survivor just kills themself on hook, and there's still no logical reason to give killers such a long penalty if you arent having fun and want to just leave the game. Sometimes you just have to go do something or the ping is terrible and just not fun. Also, it still counts if you crash, which is even worse.
It does have purpose, thd killer gets his bps. And the survivors have a chance to unhook before the suicide.

Yeah but all rules set 2 does is make the survivor wander around useless for a bit; and then they can usually get the trap off. I believe tampered timer + crate of gears / 5th box actually makes it impossible to search all of them if they get unlucky. Just tampered timer alone won't do that. Rules set 2 will buy you extra time (maybe), but two purples is how you are actually going to get RBT kills.
On most maps yes, Im saying on midwich they already barely have time to get them off as it is because of tge layout. Its probably the only map that addons good for. I know what youre saying, im not new to pig, my point was simply that its a mean addon to run on that map in particular

I find that at the higher ranks, usually a gen is going to pop while they are on the hook anyways. I don't run any slowdown perks on her beyond corrupt (which I sometimes swap with whispers) because pig is a killer I usually want some gens to be completed on.
So the pink offering doesn't do too too much alot of the time. A crate of gears or a 5th box just makes it straight up more lethal if it activates while they are hooked. Even if I am doing very well, I try not to deploy a head trap until the previous one has been activated. Having too many out at once can mean nobody will do any gens and they will not get activated.
Discordance helps alot with that since once it procs you know a gen will pop very soon (assuming you are not in a position to stop it) and you know to trap someone you downed or not.
Well specofically on midwich getting to all the boxes can be tough because of the layout. Using the pink add on makes that even harder and then tampered timer is...well tampered timer π

@Shocktober said:
She's pretty meh; but also has one of the meanest add-on combo's in the game.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/QJQ97O3LSHAR/piggu-png.png
This combo specifically, is just RNG death alot of the time.
You really want to be mean run tampered timer and the pink add on that makes it so they cant see tge boxes then a midwitch map offering (or any indoor map might do)

Shes good but you have to be willing to be ######### heartless. I have 0 problems slugging some dude trying to get a trap off his head.

Ive tracked survivor ranks over about 50 games. The higher your rank the more likely you are to be at the top of the leaderboard at the dnd of tge game, which means your also more likely to escape and pip. So as far as tge 3 points that actually matter (bps, pips, surviving) yes, rank matters. Stastically speaking that is, any singular game could have vastly different results.
