More survivor skin masks but with a touch. Having the ability to have the hat/ demented skin on while equiped (or least one of em)
Imagine having a Steve mask with his sailor hat. That would make my day.
That would be the only face I wore

Rank is more of a play time that month. You can get r1 with a fresh account without prior dbd experience within a month. It all just depends how long you play that month.
The experience is tied to the total play time and it may not even be equal to how good certain player is.
Ranks mean, meant and will mean nothing. Matchmaking never worked, doesnt work and will never work in dbd (skill pairing). The New elo thing they will introduce on 95% wo t fix anything, as what are you going to gauge it upon? Win/lose scenarios are so loose in dbd, players perceive a win in different ways.
Some want 4k, others want 4 bbq/wglf stacks, some just want to escape, some want to 4 man escape, some look at useless pips, some consider a win by completeing challenges.
By my logic, there could be no ranks a t all besides the noob zone we currently have.
Id like to see someone with no experience at all go from a rank 20 to a rank 1 in a month. Especially killer side. Pretty sure thats bullshit.

Slugging and letting them escape often ends with a black pip.
Unless you literally play a farming friendly killer, there is no hope. Besides who cares, r1 or R15, all of it are just indicators how long you have played that month.
Ive been tracking survivor ranks, over about 50 games the higher your rank is the more bps you earn and the more likely you are to escape. This idea that rank means nothing is just flat out false
-
If theres a team doing the strat youre talking about you need to hook that person. Zone them and push them towards your traps, once theyre in your web youre no longer getting looped and once theyre on the hook you just reset your traps.
Its also a good idea to have a few on hand so while youre chasing that looper you can put a trap down and catch them with it shortening the loop.
I wont claim to be the best hag player though

Only early purple to grey rank killer face camp, those pro camper become smart and develop the enhance method depend on 32 meters. I met a lot on XX server. Half of the rank 1 killers stand away from hook around 32 meters and using ghostface or huntress to camp. BT perks not activated since not in killer terror radius. Once they tunnelling the one who can loop their rank drop to rank 2.
You brimg a key, OoO or decide to tbag while im playing bubba youre getting face camped. And ill still 4k safety. People that hit r1 every season dont care about pips

Spamming traps down next to the hook and camping it is the best hag strategy there is. Camp a 3 gen, camp a hook, that's all hag is good for. If you want to play a chase character pick someone else.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/JOKN777C2RPY/lul-png.png
This has gotta be the next best camping hag build. You hook 1 person, patrol the hook, and even if they save in your face they get broken and are injured for a good 1.5 minutes and you usually get to hit them with exhaust. It's like the legion pin build but even better.
Ot amuses me youre trying to school @SpaceCoconut on hag 😂

Not op or boring its just annoying when they put 7 million traps on a hook
Hag is actually fun to go against
Good hags know they only need one at the hook then maybe a couple om paths leading to/away. If a hag is putting 3 or 4 on 1 hook it should be an easy game overall.

Myers has to work to get a 1 hit down and so does Hillbilly and so does fatboy.
Huntress does point and click adventure and can down people when they've already got around a corner because the dedicated servers benefit a killers laggy ISP.
Its really not that easy.

Yeah you just need to focus on you and practice. I know its rough, believe me, I know. The more you practice though the better youll get

Ive never played SH so outside of PH I have no idea who these people are, and because of that idc. I bought Alessa cause I like that outfit more than the others. She reminds me of wednesday adams for some reason, theres a weird goth thing going on with her. I dig it

Yeah it is the killers job to do that. Not saying it isn't, but when I have sat and watched a killer go directly for a sparkling unhooked survivor, and completely bypass me or anyone else without it. Kinda obvious what is going on
Before this event you would have just called tgat tunneling. Now that theres sparkles involved all of a sudden its becayse of tge event 😂😂 yall are out your minds.

Literally just curious, because a friend of mine basically quit the game because he believes that Pyramid Head is unbeatable in his current state (as in he is fast and his ranged attack makes him difficult to try to stun and run) and that survivors didn't get any sort of compensation, and I'm trying to convince him to come back to the game. I'm hoping that someone can give me something that I can use to convince him to come back.
Tell him to stop being a wuss. Ive been playing ph all day and have lost plenty of games.

Its about hooks not kills. I just had a game where 2 were dead before a single gen was done, i let tge other 2 do all 5 gens and bounce. I still got a safety.

Which is exactly what happens if a killer is going to focus the recently unhooked survivor
Thats just patently false. It can happen, it doesnt always. And were not talking about focusing on one survivor, slugging the unhokdd survivor happens all the time. At least once a game, and its vecause unhookers do dumb #########.

He doesnt need a rework. This is changing 1 number in the code from 1 to a 3.

Looks like a light blue to me 🤷♂️

I don't watch dbd streams pretty bold of you to assume I do. Tunneling is immediately going for and attempting to down a recently unhooked survivor a hook them again in some cases tunneling is good at end game to secure a kill but at the start of a game it is not. But what is your definition since mine is clearly what my favorite streamer says.
Yeah thats not tunneling. Tunneling is when you chase 1 person through 3 hooks or 5 gens ignoring everything else. Theres nothing at all with what you just described.
-
They could give them to everyone that owned the game at that time. If youve been playing since 2016 youve earned them imo
-
@azame said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1389028#Comment_1389028
Once again tunneling is not doing the killers job effectively their job is to sacrifice all survivors. Tunneling one doesn't put progress on others and doesn't apply much pressure as you don't have multiple injured/healthy. Tunneling a good survivor will maybe result in 1 or 2 kills if you are lucky.
Downing the person that just got unhooked in front of you and rehooking them is doing your job efficiently. And if you happen across that person while patrolling and are able to down and hook them immediately, thats also efficient. I think your problem is you dont know the definition of tunneling and are thus applying your bad definition to every time youve heard your favorite streamer say "tunneling is bad!"

I like all of these! The only one I see a problem with in my opinion is "salt" because I think it will promote slugging lol
Slugging happens anyway, what this promotes is people getting off gens and picking up slugs faster 😊
-
Killer Perks
Wicked Game: Pressing the active ability on a regressing gen causes the next 1/2/3 people to touch that gen to lose a health state (does not inflict dying and only applies to one gen at a time). Takes 1 second to apply.
Salt: Survivors in the dying state bleed out 1/1.5/ 2 minutes faster.
Hard Luck: Survivors Luck is reduced by 50% and items found in chests are always of the lowest possible rarity (i.e. brown med kit, green key)
Survivor Perks:
Bully : stunning a killer causes a 150% speed boost for 3 secs. Causes the exhaustation status effect for 60/50/40 secs.
Take a beating: being both exhausted and injured hides your scratch marks for 10 secs.
Shy: stunning a killer hides all aura reading abilities for 10 secs

Yup. Nailed it. Theyre just enjoying the fact they got someone. Theyll realize why its a bad move later on. Dont take it personal

I never get mad about killers being a little bit campy as i play killer and survivor so i understand you want to secure a kill, maybe patrol around the area and keep a close eye (i dont think you should and i dont do this but i get it) but this guy was face camping and was hitting me over and over again as if he thought he was a god. Got me frustrated and needed to vent lol
Thats usually a newbie doing that. Older players might give you a love tap then move on

I get that “Salty Messages” is a thing. I kinda find it funny when I get some simply because they make me laugh. I got this message after a chill game with bubba. I chased a feng around in Macmillan Estate. She was able to drop a pallet on me then T-Bagged like a crazy person. T-bagging doesn’t bother me a whole lot, but in this case I figured “ok sure bud” so I hooked her. It also happened that someone saved her the second I was leaving so I quickly downed her again then downed other. Hooked the one who saved feng then morid feng. I like to “punish” the ones who think they’re cool and they’re the ones who usually send messages to me, probably cause their DS is useless or they’re out of the game. How do you guys deal with them? If you do anything at all, Or how would you go against them if you were on the other side? If that makes sense
When im playing as bubba its a very good idea to be extra polite. And to leave the key back in the lobby

it doesn’t make any sense though. If you don’t use them you still benefit from other players’. And if you do use them it doesn’t matter when, you’ll always benefit from them. What you SHOULD do is use them now so that you get to buy more for whenever you feel like using them.
I think people are mostly saving them for when theyre stackable (HOPEFULLY today). Yes using them now to get more is the smart move, once tge event is over though saving them for a double xp event is the smart move.

Let's not get into the semantics of this game I mean I'm no doctor but I'm not sure the healing method of rubbing someone's back is effective for someone who's had a hook through their chest but that's unrelated, in regards to your other reply it's not a free unhook it's me going down as well so they've got two hits off the unhook and if they're any good they'd leave me on the ground and chase the unhooked survivor
Its not semantics. The devs put something in for gameplay reasons and I was pointing out another thing they put in for gameplay reasons. You can try and unhook in my face and you expect me to not be able to stop you, just like you can finish a gen in my face while im on hit cool down. If you want to unhook your friend, do it safely. If the killer is camping use bt and get your timing down better, you can to force the hit.
And yes, you are asking for a free unhook because without being able to grab someone it would always result in the unhook unless you rushed the hook while injured. Chasing the person that just got unhooked in that situatiom isnt even the right call since theyve got bt protection and ds and youre probably running unbreakable. I chase the unhooked, he gets to a pallet because of bt, i down him 20 to 30 secs later and by then youre already back up and i cant pick him up because of ds. So yeah, free unhook.
If i just hook you it was a trade at least but from a killers pov its 0 added pressure. The 2 people that were on gens are still on gens and arent required to come off because you did something stupid. Which is the entire point. Adding pressure.

It's not hook farming to try and save your friend off the hook, yes I could sit around and do generators and get a +1 but I don't want my mate getting a -1 and having a terrible game so I will try my best to save them, I'm happy to go down but I should be able to give them a chance first
Youre ACTUALLY asking for a free unhook 🤦♂️
-
It doesnt only happen when the killer is camping. And camping is sometimes the right thing to do.
Heres a question, how is a survivor thats bleeding profusely and beinh chased by a supernatural serial killer able to repair a generator especially when they have no actual knowledge of how generators actually work
-
@Clevite said:
If you consistently run Noed,
You're not as good as you think.
If you consistently run DS and unbreakable,
You're not as good as you think.
This is a statement I can agree with
-
All 5 of us ran cakes last night one game. I got 30k that game. It made me very sad.
-
Its not to weak imo. Its just hard to notuce the effects without survelliance. If you pressure the gens directly often its doing a lot of work. Ive had teams abandon gens completely because of ruin.
Ruin + Survelliance + Carb + Beast Marks is an absolutely devastating combo on bubba. Its also great on legion.
-
@azame Youve missed the point entirely. Riv made tge point that noed punishes survivors for gen rushing.
You said "punish the survivors for doing their objective efficiently?"
Space coconut then pointed out to you that ds punishes the killers for doing their job efficiently.
Then you said ds punishes the killer for trying to hook tge same survivor within 60 secs.
I then pointed out that THAT IS the killer doing the objective efficiently.
The entire point was to draw a comparison between noed and ds. Remove both from the board and the game is a gen rushing tunneling nightmare. If kilkers tunnel, they might get hit by ds. If survivors gen rush they might get hit by noed.
-
Let me guess. Its *ahem* boring?
