I once played against a pig on Suffocation Pit who randomly decided to meme in the middle of the game. It started with peek-a-boo behind a rock, and then we crouched and did merry-go-round a tree together. Had me dying. Shot out to that Pig 🐷 MVP of the game
Hey, man, this game is like TF2: 99% of the time it's toxic/sweaty tryhard city, but once in a blue moon, something magical happens.
-
If it boops, I snoots. ... Wait-
For real, though, if I get boops, I'll usually go out of my way to go easy on the booper, or meme with them.
Bonus points if it's Piggy Meg.

Maybe there is no MMR and this is just a placebo effect?
Survivors now playing sweatier, because they have heard about MMR. In solo queue, people just think they are playing with better players, but in reality, they got matched with the same people. When I play killer I see the same number of DCs and AFK players as it was before.
Survivors are performing better just because they bring good items, like BNPs and good medkits.
Queue times are longer because BHVR has a limited budget on dedicated servers expenses.
And ranks was just cosmetically replaced with Ashes and Grades. They even use Roman numbers to make everything more confusing, like
"I am Silver Ash IV grade..." like compare that with "I am rank 5".
MMR does not exist.
Actually, it does exist.

Pinhead's Possessed Chain is very much like Nurse's blinks.
You want to be right on top of a Survivor when you release it, and make a split-second attack to hit them with it.

Right, almost like how his power was designed? The point of it, is that you want to prevent the chain hunts. In order to take this build, this pinhead likely isn't stacking gen slowdown perks. They are taking 2 perks to use a combo that synergizes with their power. This combo IS their gen slowdown. And for once we have a killer that isn't using ruin/undying/tinkerer to do it.
Exactly. Pinhead has insane slowdown built-in, with counterplay on the Survivors' part.
If they made the solving time longer at base, or even outright removed the possessed chain altogether in favor of leaving the Lament unsolved in the Survivor's hands when he teleports, I'd have no problems with this setup.
Hell, like people have said, it offers a breach from the Corrupt Ruindying and Chili build.

The Pinhead Dream Patch:
- Iridescent Box Add-On becomes base kit.
- Chains require an additional .50 seconds each to break.
- Number of chains spawned on successfully hit survivor increases by +1 per 10M the hook travels.
- Pinhead no longer breaks his own chains.
- Chains can no longer spawn in too close to walls/objects that would cause them to instantly break. They will now spawn much closer to the survivor model instead to secure hits.
- Reduced effectiveness of environmental chain break by 75%.
- Survivors that break the chains of other survivors have new chains spawn and target them instead.
Start there.
This would honestly make Pinhead go from D-tier to A-tier REALLY fast.
Which is good! Good Killers mean Survivors can use stronger perks and have it not be sweaty!

One of the crutches isn't even mine and it wasn't to stir anything 😂. Also since when have perks that help survival count as crutches? Nobody calls Ruin or other gen slowing perks a crutch. Nobody even calls the perks that help kill faster crutches. There are no real crutches in this game at this point everything that does do something to help only has a chance to help. She could've easily instead of trying to tunnel me as she did waited it out and prob got me or just hit the person unhooking or even grabbed them but like a fool decided to wait behind me and go for the hit after I've been unhooked so losing the one kill she could've gotten was her own fault for not playing smarter and instead being petty about losing a perk that didn't help her to begin with.
Uh... Excuse me?
I literally see that every other forum post, man.
Aside from "Nerf X, Y, Z", it's always about how certain perks are crutches.

If they released a Demo skin out of left field to fill the blight theme...
I would be a very happy Demodoggo.

Toxicity has no place in any community, and being a douchebag to be a douchebag invalidates all your arguments.

Oh I forgot, everyone is an angel on these forums, never toxic and always tries to be considerate of other people's fun.
Lol yeah right... Just admit that you "give" them the hatch to send the message that you were what was between them and the hook.
No. When I give people the door, THAT'S when I send that message.
When I give them the hatch, that's me being a nice guy, rather than being a jerkass like you assume.

Killers giving the hatch or not to the last survivor happens more often because it's a powertrip.
Uh, excuse you.
I often feel sorry for the last guy if it's a stomp because of stupid plays, or I happen to be in a good enough mood to offer it to the last guy.
There ain't no power trip in charity.

@xenotimebong said:
I do this. But most killers I try to give kills to won’t accept it, and just carry me to the open gate.
You see, that's an even more wholesome exchange, more often than not.
They acknowledge defeat, and are letting you leave.
But if you stay, that shows that you care.
-
No comment.
Totally not a former Wraith main or anything.
-
Wait a second...
You run the Carry BuildTM too?!
In all seriousness, Pallet Freddy is literally the opposite of sweat. He's an M1 Killer with a meme ability that only works half the time. On top of that, you're running the Carry Build, which is a major meme build.
Survivors really do be that entitled.
-
Victor cannot be pulled out of the Exit Gates, though he can be dragged through a Hatch without issue.
The Survivor is blocked from escaoing until they remove Victor, and if Charlotte downs them instead, the Gate remains blocked for a few seconds afterword.
PS: A Survicor escaping via the Hatch respawns Victor as usual.
-
Well, I have a build courtesy of Benjo that I call the Carry BuildTM.
Agitation.
Iron Grasp/Lightborn.
Mad Grit.
Starstruck.
It doesn't ALWAYS work, but when it does, it's absolutely hilarious. Especially when the Survivor lets you carry them around.
-
And then I get those guys who sit in the gate just to butt-dance at me, and when I go for a pity hit, they leave just before I get the chance.
I think they're pretty freakin' dickish.

I agree that it sucks for killers. My point is just, you guys can't do anything about it, so stop letting it bother you. I honestly wish survivors couldn't even bring keys into games. I leave every lobby where my teammate brings one.
It's hard to not let it bother us, just as it's hard to not let it bother yourself. And you're on their team!
That speaks volumes for how stupid Keys are.
-
@meatisadelicacy said:
I don't know why killers are constantly so so so so so bothered by this.
Play solo survivor, and see how often you're screwed over by teammates brining in keys!
Oh, trust me, I know that pain.
The pain of someone skipping out, just to have the Killer cut you off immediately after sucks.
But it sucks from a Killer's persoective when it's just an uncounterable escape unless you dedicate your exustence to draining that Key dry.

Might possibly be his best perk.
Maybe.
As a Blight Main since his release up until very recently in favor of Demodoggo's soon-to-be departure, I can say that since day 1, BBQ has been a staple of his kit for me.
Blight specializes in getting from A to B, so if you give him a target, he can capitalize on that in spades.

Proxy camping now???? You mean when you know there's survivors near by and you check round to find then. Survivors will call anything camping or tunneling.
Didn't you know that after hooking, you're supposed to walk to the corner of the map, stick your nose in it, and let them heal and finish the gens before you come back, and only to open the gates for them.

Yes, really. With Bubba you're pretty much forced to use the double speed combo or the speed + chilli combo, otherwise the default ability won't make the catch up enough good. Even the faster charges recharge add on is good.
I caught up to a Sprint Bursting Ash with no speed addons once.
Caught him with the very tip of my saw, and he DC'd.
-
For me, it depends.
Was the game fun? If it was a meme game for the luls, I'd have taken a 0k, unless I'm doing Rancor Roulette.
If the match was hard-fought on both sides and was super close, then I'll accept a 2k.
If it was a sweat show and the Survivors trybarded the hell out of the game to get gens done fast and leave, then I'll be pretty upset.
-
I don't do this often, since I know it sucks to have offerings melted away to dust, but if I see some jerkass last-second switch to a Key, you better believe I'm sending you right back to the queue time hell.

The opinions of Scott Cawthon do not reflect BHVR and vice-versa.
Claiming otherwise is just stupid thinking.

Literally anything to make kicking gens viable. BHVR has supplemented its complete uselessness with a shovelware of awful gen perks. Have you ever seen anybody actually make use out of opression? Overcharge? Dragons grip? Eruption? They're pretty terrible. We really need a better reason to kick gens so these perks can see more usage.
I've gotten a few ridiculous Draon's Grip plays with Wraith before.
Or using Insidious.
I got rage for doing it, and they learned not to touch the gens I kicked for a hot second.

after rewatching im really shocked at all the mistakes im seeing. The Jake was Rank 4, Kate and Claudette were Rank 10, and Feng was like 17. I feel like if I were truly tunneling then this game should have been an easy cakewalk for them because if I tunneled just 1 person they'd all of easily gotten all generators done, right? I feel like as a Rank 16 killer I dont exactly have the skill level to tunnel 3 people at once
Well, even more than not having the skill, it's physically impossible to tunnel 3 people at once.
Which was my entire point.
-
@UnluckyDucky said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2410768#Comment_2410768
The Streamer even said their gameplay was risky because I maanged to hook Feng and Jake close to one another. But heres the replay:
Feng on hook
I chase Jake, hook him at a nearby hook like maybe 100ft from Feng
Im now half way across map chasing Kate
Claudette unhooks Feng
I hit Kate and follow her
Claudette is unhooking Jake right as Kate runs up to them (with me chasing still chasing her)
I try to hit Kate, nothing happens, i swing again and it hit Jake he has BT so he runs off unscathed (and steamer calls me a b****)\
I continue to chase Kate since I can't do anything about Jake since he has BT and I dont see Claudette anywhere. "(kate)OMG killer his tunneling me"
Kate happens to run RIGHT by Feng(who for some reason was still within like 20 feet of her unhook) so i hit her and she goes down
as i pick her up jake attempts to body block me so i do a few swipes to get a hit or get them away from me--and as this is happening Kate is trying to sabatoge the hook. i swipe at kate and knock her as shes mid-sabatoge and then hang feng. "omg that d** bag REALLY tunneled you"
like... i hadn't even laid eyes on feng since i hooked her. and then she appeared in front of me while i was chasing kate.
Oh, yeah, you're TOTALLY tunneling with a Survivor on your shoulder while Kate is sabotaging the hook you want to use. Like, what?
These guys need to learn that you physically CANNOT tunnel 3 people at the same time.
It's not a thing.
-
Honestly, I feel you, man.
Now, we all know that tunneling/camping is a valid strategy, that if done just to do it, is a dick move, but honestly, I feel you.
Being hit by 2 Head-Ons, along with T-bag and clicky spam at every pallet and window, followed by constant bodyblocking, is absolutely obnoxious, and I completely understand why you'd just... Give up, take the 1k, or maybe a 4k if you get lucky, and move on with life. Frankly, I'd do the same in your shoes.
It just isn't worth it.
-
As someone who's played a fair bit of chase Bubba, it's kind of simply a matter of WHEN he will catch you, not IF.
Don't anticipate using Dead Hard, and even if you are injured, Dead Hard will not save you unless he goes for the M1.
Do NOT get greedy with pallets. Drop it and run. If he spends time to rev beforehand, it's your one lifeline. If he doesn't see the pallet coming, you either force him to rev, buying time, you force him to loop, buying time, or stun him, buying time. Worst case scenario, you buy yourself a couple extra seconds because he pre-revved the pallet.
Vaults are your best friend, but again, don't get greedy. Stay ahead of the game, watch for mindgames, and keep an eye out for Bamboozle.
As I said, it's not a matter of IF he doens you, but WHEN. Make the most of things as you can, and if you get caught in a bad spot... Well, do what you can.
