Is this intended or a bug?

I went into the locker to try and force DS because Trickster still went after me with Main Event, however that was completely pointless because as you can see, i was only 1 blade away from going down again. Wouldn't your meter reset usually?

  • You want the meter to reset when you DS? DH, DS, BT, stretched res and you want even more advantages to escape Trickster.

  • I believe this is intentional, the laceration meter doesn't automatically go away when you are put into the dying state, it's just that whenever you M1 someone or down them using blades; the laceration meter is usually depleted automatically by those actions

This seems like a neat 'tech' of sorts that you've discovered here.

nope. it doesn't decay upon using DS or anything else. your meter begins to decay after you've been left alone for a long period of time (typically about 20-30 seconds depending on the add-ons used)

it only completely resets after you've gotten downed.

Oh, it's you crying about Survivors again. Shocker.

All i did was ask a simple question, nowhere did i complain about Trickster.

  • Thanks for showing this, I may make use of this knowledge in my matches; both as Surv and Killer.

And Adrenaline, though that may or may not be relevant.

Meta Survivors just want easy escapes, it seems.

  • Lmao, why should your meter reset?

Ah okay thanks, good to know. Guess the better play in this situation would be to just get slugged or only force the DS when he barely hit you with his knifes before so you can actually make some distance after the stun.

  • Its intended. Why would the meter reset because of DS? Plus that would be some risky coding considering BHVR's history. Also they don't like making perks that specifically counter certain killer powers, its inconsistent and unfun for the people who play those killers.
