Good riddance for that guy tho, got what he deserved for killing innocent people.
To be fair, Azarov was part of the mafia, so...
Kinda his job to dispose of the bodies.

Yes. I'd wager they'll add Trapper's dad and possibly Wraith's boss.
Wraith's boss is very dead.
He was crushed by the Wraith, who then apparently ripped out his skull and spine at some point.

So here's the thing, for those of you who detest the idea of Springtrap in DBD:
Dead By Daylight has kind of become the Super Smash Bros of horror: Characters from iconic horror games, movies, and shows are brought all together in one place, for one reason or another, because we love the genre.
Mike Myers, Freddy Kreuger, the Demogorgon, Bubba, Pyramid Head, Nemesis, Ghost Face, and probably others who have entirely slipped my mind, all in one place, where we can enjoy them as one community.
Granted, the devs have plenty of original Killers going in, but that doesn't change the fact that, at the end of the day, that's what this game is.
Nobody can deny the raw popularity of FNaF, even if it mostly consists of cringey children.
Hell, as a fan since the beginning, I know the cringe of the community, which is why I don't associate with them.

Iron Grasp.

Starstruck.
Inspired by a guy called Benjo on YouTube, this is a build I've dubbed "The Carry Build".
Pair with a TTV who is willing to play along for maximum memes.

I don't really want a FNaF chapter, but this 'argument' means nothing.
Show me where in Silent Hill 2, or in any other Pyramid Head appearance, where Dorito Head drew in the ground and attacked with waves like that.
Show me where Freddy spawned Pools of Blood that slowed Nancy and Quentin down in the NOES remake?
They don't. The 'well he's just a guy in a suit!!11!!!!1" arguments don't mean anything, because BHVR has shown they're capable in just making up powers. Michael is just a guy in a mask. So is Ghostace. Pig is just a woman in a mask.
I hate this argument so ######### much.
In addition, the lore has confirmed, with Freddy's backstory, that the Entity can just GIVE and TAKE abilities to and from Killers as it sees fit.
"... His powers were tempered in some ways and focused in others..."

Yeah no dig if you like it. It's just PAST the level of camp I feel fits DbD.
I'd be able to take Cindy and Brenda more seriously in the game.
Also it'd be so iconic lmao
I mean, that's fair.
I feel like it could work, but they'd have to pull it off right.
They can't just pull another PPHead/Nemesis mechanic based around "Oh, you like looping? How about no.". He would have to be some sort of stealth-oriented Killer, or have some WILDLY unique feature if he is yet ANOTHER chase Killer.
After all, we have, what, 10 of those, now?

You're the one who is overstepping and trying to correct someone. I've got a college degree.
You're nitpicking at my use of a word in a casual context because you don't have a point.
Also I never called anyone who likes FNAF " gone in the head " , I said " If you think a killer based in realism and stuff that can actually happen is more camp than a giant animatronic in a pizzaria going and killing people then you're gone in the head. "
Also Trickster's fashion isn't even goofy, it's an aesthetic you THINK is goofy. Popstar clothing is over the top and gaudy. Look at what Katy Perry wears, look at Nicki Minaj's outfits, etc. It's ACCURATE.
Anywho you can stop REPLYING to me a hundred times because you're NOT changing MY opinion.
I'd just like to point out that TECHNICALLY, Sprintrap, the most likely character to get a position on the roster, is a dead body stuck in an animatronic suit, possessed by the guy's undying spirit.
It isn't QUITE as far-fetched as the rest of the roster being in DBD, but hey, I won't try to sway you.

imo the Realm Beyond is the only good update we've had so far, i can always appreciate new models and revamped maps cause they never disappoint.
In the Realm Beyond, the textures and models are fine and whatever, but for maps:
Farm- Way too bright and still can't see anything through all the corn.
Autoheaven- Didn't really fix some of the issues with the map, like the Great Wall of Autoheaven, and a lot of the loops are too small for tall Killers to effectively mindgame.
The Game- TOO MANY GODDAMN PALLETS. Stupidly Survivor-sided.
There's probably more, but realistically, The Realm Beyond just made things worse, balance-wise, not better.
-
So here's the thing I've noticed:
You say how Solos suffer against Killers, and I'm pretty sure every Killer main with more than 200 hours by now knows this as fact. Solo sucks. Period.
But the thing is, the food chain essentially goes SWF>Killer>Solo Queue.
A good SWF will absolutely stomp any Killer through efficiency alone, and any Killer can rip through most Solos.

Not entirely true. I don't think this game (maybe the engine?) has ragdoll physics? I mean, it's not something that is just baked into the game automatically.
And given how stilted some of the moris look, I honestly think they are all hand-animated. I honestly don't think the game has ragdoll physics baked in.
Well, picking up a Survivor leaves them limp anyway.
I don't expect floppy ragdolls, but they could just lay there idly while being carried to emulate it.

Honestly, the corpses don't even need new animations.
They're limp anyway. They just wouldn't make noise.

Exactamundo. Totems are, by far and wide, the most easy-to-counter aspect of Dead by Daylight to date. Partly (or possibly even majority of) the reason why I don't run Hex perks -- they're just so pointless when all it takes is a 10-20 second cleansing period. Sure, I'd love to be able to run Devour Hope on a Killer or play NOED for reasons other than to camp and kill Survivors last minute, but my God there is no legitimate circumstance where running a Hex is permissible. I'd argue that hexes are the flimsiest flaw in this game at this current time, and the more and more I see people complaining about this one and this other one... it just convinces me that this community will argue about anything. What's next? Insidious is OP somehow?

When Keys can open hatches period, it is a nerf, but specifically to countering Keys. In every other instance, it was a buff.
But now that Keys will be unable to open hatches when their charge is spent, it is a buff across the board, effectively leaving things exactly the same as they were before the change.

Killers hate it because they hate the idea of survivors having good perks. Or anything, really. Meanwhile they run Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer every match.
Actually, I'm fine with Survivors having good perks, but when they Dead Head for Distance, costing me a hit, that can potentially spell a 0K right there for me, simply due to the nature of the game at this point. Gens fly too fast to waste an extra 20+ seconds dancing around pallets.

Losing all the gens is the final step until the survivors escape through the exit gates. Of course the killer has not lost yet but they are in a losing position. In an F1 race you don't give a speed boost to the racer in last place because they deserve to be in last place, they're losing. NOED is the equivalent of a Mario Kart item that you get in last place to boost you up to 3rd or 4th. It doesn't belong in a competitive game and if you've lost all the gens you should have to come back with your own skill, not a single perk that can legitimately grant you a win for free.
"It doesn't belong in a competitive game"
Good thing DBD isn't competitive, according to the devs.

He has the best build in map pressure arguably, since the zombies can kick people off gens.
And then you have 2-man gen goers that let one person lure the Zombie 5 feet away because they are dumb as a box of rock. Singular.

Or they should just give the damn information to the killers

Exactly.
People worry about tunnelers abusing it, but tunnelers don't give a damn who is on death hook, they're gonna just tunnel you through DS and BT anyway.
There is literally no downside to doing it, since it allows Killers who AREN'T tunnel-happy to actually plan out a 12-hook.
-
If you use all three, that's the Carry Build.
Is very fun to punish cocky SWF using it.

Tunneling already happens every game, I doubt it will change anyone’s choice to bring a key or not.
Can’t believe you tunnel because someone wanted to use something that is IN THE GAME. Just dodge the lobby
Kind of hard to do when they last-second swap to a Key like a doichebag, though...
Just saying.

Well, I'm predicting, in a similar vein to how the Twins' relase and mid-patch somehow ######### Legion's power, that this mid-patch is gonna somehow screw with Doctor or Pig, who have NOTHING TO DO WITH NEMESIS AT ALL.

-
@Laluzi said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2324175#Comment_2324175
Sooo... let me get this straight.
The killer is trying not to tunnel. They are going after the unhooker, not the player who got off the hook. They are ignoring the player who got off the hook, either because they are concerned about DS/BT, because they have a perk that incentivizes going after the other player, or maybe because they just prefer to play fair and are giving the unhooked player a chance to get away.
The player who got off the hook intersperses themselves between the killer and their target, forcing the killer to hit them if they want to hit anyone.
The killer either hits them and goes after them because the unhooker got away, or waits 12 seconds because basic brain activity and downs the bodyblocker. Either way, the bodyblocker goes back on the hook.
The player who got in the way now accuses the killer of tunneling.
So. It's not okay to go after the player who's preventing the killer from going after anyone else? Because that's the scenario in the OP that you've chosen to pitch in on. Look, you hardly have diplomatic immunity if you run in front of the killer and beg for them to hit you. There's nothing wrong with bodyblocking with Borrowed Time, it's a very powerful tactic, but you've gotta be prepared for the killer to commit to the bait.
Essentially, this.
Usually, if they aren't a doichebag or have time to make another play, a Killer will go after the unhooker.
The unhooked bodyblocking is a bait as old as Borrowed Time itself.
The benefit you give the unhooker in that situation is, if the Killer immediately hits the BT user, about 4 seconds of "get the hell out of dodge" time, maybe longer if they wait a second or two.
But if the Killer chooses, instead, to switch targets, then the unhookee is now in serious danger, right next to the Killer, with no good way out, in most cases.

Yea you're supposed to be able to have more fun than I do in the game... got it. So yea don't get mad when someone runs you for 5 gens and flick a flashlight in your face at every pallet drop for tunneling down the first survivor. They're probably doing it because you did something toxic first. This community getting better starts with the community. It really needs to start with killers playing in a fair and sportsmanlike manner then you'll probably see a lot less toxic survivors.
I dunno, I've seen pretty much the polar opposite. I try to go for 12 hooks unless I literally can't find someone else to down first, and when they decide to butt-dance and macro-click at lightspeed at me for no reason whatsoever...
Doesn't exactly seem like it's a Killer-instigated issue.

I have been in every position in that situation, and I can definitively say that if the unhooker doesn't take the killer's attention. Then they have no better options than to go after the recently unhooked survivor.
Would you have the killer simply abandon the chase just so they don't look like an A - hole?
Clearly they would.
Then you get those guys who bait out BT just to bodyblock me, and I go:
"Alright, muddafukkah you wanted my attention, you can have it."
And then I proceed to take 'em down again, get called a baby killer in endgame chat, say GGEZ, and move on with my day.

Honestly, with how they somehow ######### up Legion during the Twins' release and mid-chapter window, I would not be surprised if that were to happen.

Lightborn makes you immune to Flashbangs, Firecrackers, Flashlights, and the blindness incurred from Blast Mine, but it does not prevent stuns in any capacity.

I realize pepperoni doesn't make sense in this context. But it doesn't have to follow the dictionary definition. It can mean whatever I want it to mean. In this case. Pepperoni = The game
How the crap did I recognize exactly what you meant with that analogy...?

I gotta say, Shadow Dance Blood and White have a spot in my heart, but Blight's iridescent Serum and Alchemist Ring make him so ridiculously oppressive.
-
So, according to the description, which people seem to be getting confused by, you have to have a Survivor set off a trap, then you have to reset the trap, and then have that same trap catch a Survivor.
-
Finally, some good ######### wholesome content that can be ruined with us-vs-them arguments.
[Insert Gordon Ramsay gif here.]

Something some of you have to realize is this:
Yes, Mandy is a dev. However, she isn't a dev working on the game itself. She's kind of like the "mouth parts" of the dev TEAM. She tells us things from the big boys and girls on campus, keeps us in the loop, and maybe even tells them our side as well.
She can't do it all, because that isn't her job.
-
I've found that Midwich and Hawkins, hilariously enough, are solid maps for Blight.
I look at all the walls and turn into Hanzo from Overwatch: "Simple geometry.".
Open maps like the corn field can be just as good provided you know what you're doing, as Survivors will have a hard time seeing you coming in the corn, making their advantage a disadvantage.
Really, anything that gives you decent space to move and bounce is good for Blight, meaning that most maps have at least 75% of areas where he can do SOMETHING productive, even if it's to get from point A to B.

Unfortunately Shadowborn is a necessity on my Blight, I'm a high FOV gamer and Blight is pretty damn good with high FOV in the same way Nurse and Huntress are.
But yeah I think Blight is the best user of BBQ honestly. Blight is already a solid bloodpoint farmer and his synergy with that perk is INSANE.
Well, that's unfortunate, but at least Blight is solid enough that a 4th perk isn't necessary to do decent with him.
Also, yes. I was saying out the gate how crazy Blight was gonna be, but NOBODY believed me.
Look where we're at now, huh?

I play Blight with BBQ, Pop, Oppression, and Shadowborn. Very solid build IMO.
I might switch out Oppression with Lethal Pursuer once I bother leveling Blight again (although I main him, I focus on leveling other characters because I like his base-kit).
BBQ is highly potent on Blight, as I've already said, as is Pop paired with Oppression.
I'd get rid of Shadowborn, myself, but I don't like using it so I don't get addicted to it to begin with.

That name sounds nice... what is it about?
Essentially, the idea was that for each unique survivor hook you got, the perk received a token.
When the exits are opened, the perk would activate, consuming all tokens, and for each token consumed, the exits would be blocked for 30 seconds, or until the totem is cleansed, whichever comes first.
I don't think it needs to be said how this could be absolutely broken.
-

This would be a good idea, if plenty of people didn't have unoriginal or boring perk ideas.
Or blatantly broken ones.
Like Hex: Death Spiral.
(An intentionally crazy strong Hex perk for the sake of being crazy strong.)
-
Hello, dedicated Blight Main, here.
Here's why a majority of Blights run those perks:
Ruindying: Ruin and Undying were a match made in Hell since the PTB. Blight's mobility lets him get to generators efficiently and quickly so Ruin can do its job, while Undying allows it to last for longer than 10 seconds.
Tinkerer: Paired with Ruin or Pop, Tinkerer is a powerful perk in the hand of any mobile Killer, which is somethig Blight can capitalize on.
BBQ: BBQ is a ridiculously strong aura perk on Blight, as his ability to cross maps quickly can leave a Survivor with minimal time for hiding once he gets a hook and is en route. Also, BP.

Its more for balance since it would do a health state and you could play around with the survivor to try to make them get into the blast radius. There always has to be balance. You have to remember, he has remote bombs, too. You gotta be fair and the blast radius could be like 3 steps in all directions.
The problem is that, as we see with Clown and Nemesis, unless the threat hits them right in the face, trying to corral someone the way you want them to go won't work out as well as just hitting them.
Besides, we all know remote detonated bombs will have a disarm method that makes them moot, like Trapper, Demo, and Hag.
