Also, that dude could be doc or trapper.Countfunkular said:I have some reason to believe that the game Developers hinted towards a new killer in one of the lore bit on October 22 with this
Now before some of you give me a basic answer by saying it's the trapper just listen for a quick sec.
The Trapper may be a lot of things but he does not have a mechanical jaw nor is he brutally disfigured...
You see I don't believe that Trapper was the guy who broke out. I believe it could be somebody else somebody new...
A prisoner perhaps...
Hard to say but I don't think anybody has ever suggested a prison themed killer before
And we let me know what you think down below because at this moment I'm trying to be a bit more hopeful for a game that is constantly falling apart.
And also happy Halloween. -
Yeh, it's been heavily hinted at since he got bit that he is going to be in as a killer, especially since her beat up the trapper. He can't be a survivor after that lol.Countfunkular said:I have some reason to believe that the game Developers hinted towards a new killer in one of the lore bit on October 22 with this

That is a possible nerf and too many totems. The spawning already has issues, gonna be so many close together I see it already. Great idea though.Rebel_Raven said:It remains a totem hex. It works the same in terms of debuffs.
However instead of it being tied to one hex totem, there is a totem created for every generator on the map, and each is linked to a random generator, and never the closest, and/or within certain meters.
Break 1 totem, free 1 random generator of the hex. Break 5, and 5 of the generators are free from the hex.
This might mean more totems on the map, of course. Got to leave room for NOED, and such. -

Idk if you run doc, but doc is more consistent with nurses calling for 3 gen. Survivors can completely avoid her traps but they cannot avoid madness as easily.JhonwayneX said:Wow, thanks a lot for the feedback!
For now conclusions i got (averagely) is that Hag is more top tier, more "campy", better perks and needs more map awareness and experience.
In the other hand, Spirit is a more aggresive one, more mind-games based, and nice perks, but not as good as Hag ones. It seems funnier to play too. If you fit in the aggresive play, of course.
I`m 3 levels off to get the 9k, and tbh, i don't know what to do yet
. I like aggresive play, but i think i need more experience for it. I see easier camp 3 near generators than pew pew the survivors, as almost every time i do it, i get rekt. Camping strategy has much better results for me.I guess in the long term, as i get more experience, Spirit fits more for me. But basing on the comments, i really think i should pick Hag. So again, i don't know what to do yet
.Again, thanks a lot for the feedback buddies.

Np, hag is overrated and only works when survivors let her work. The spirit through mastery could have very little counterplay. I've played on console and pc, saw gameplay, no hag ever wiped a crew without one build while survivors played smart. Most survivors in high rank are there due to the change that allowed more survivors to be there due to lowered requirements.JhonwayneX said:Wow, thanks a lot for the feedback!

The spirit has less counterplay as yes she loses sight but with stridor it doesn't matter if you stop running, she will find you. Iron will isn't common enough. Also. With sloppy butcher being meta the spirit can also track accurately with blood.
The hag is overrated and spirit takes a lot of mechanical knowledge and requires you to anticipate survivors similar to nurse to use efficiently. Also due to the prayer beads buff, you can get many free generator pulls or totem pulls. The hag can mostly camp, survivors running through your traps as you carry a survivor to the hook means that with your slower movement speed, you have to reset. Also, flashlights destroy her traps. Even with rusty shackles. Most survivors do not use this trick which makes the hag get more kills due to survivor ignorance. Placing a trap at a loop is easily burned but most survivors with flashlights don't for some reason. -

No end game totems, it will encourage more people to just pop them all. Just make blood warden reactivate or something. Maybe one more but to have a bunch would kill it as people would just pop all totems.akbays35 said:I really think the devs need to make more totems that activate endgame like Noed or rework Devour Hope and Blood Warden to proc as an endgame totem without the hooking mechanics. I think this would increase variety for endgame builds and give survivors somewhat of a counterplay or just more incentive to leave. I had an idea called Entity's Chosen where it gives you Bamboozle, unlimited spirits fury, Enduring, and Lightborn so the survivors can't use any tools against you at the end of the game unless they break the totem.

Yup, you're relying too much on visual awareness, not all the other factors. The sounds, distance, relying just on a stain.Soul_Consumption said:I think the answer lies in developing your awareness. It's a thing some people struggle with, but with practice it's one of your best assets. Try running premonition to help you out, until you get a handle on things. Running to the nerf hammer isn't the answer. Consider a few things before running to the forums with complaints.
1. What did you do to lead you to the situation you're in.
2. What did the killer do to find you in such a vulnerable situation. With the spirit a large majority of her flavor comes from the mind games she's able to play you with. Her passive phasing is what you're referring to, and you'll get better as you play against her more often.
Good luck in the fog. -

Yes, sounds like your problem again. Passive phasing messes up some people's 360s who rely on red stain. Go above, go beyond. 360s are about more than red stains. Still mind games. I had spirits spinning in circles looking like they had down syndrome. Derrrderrr lol. 3rd person view is a gift, use it wisely, read it still. Anticipate. That is only strong at really short loops or places with corners like lerys. Also the devs didn't make a condition clear, they made pips so it is true that it is debatable. Not everyone is supposed to live, 2 dead 2 alive is considered to many as a draw. It's team a vs team b, not 1v1.Dabrownman1812 said:

I recently went for and got the "Adept Cannibal" trophy and obviously to do that I had to use the perk and it was the first time using it considering I don't have any teachable perks yet from the shrine. I was excited to use what I assumed would be an excellent perk.
However, in practice it was close to useless to me. Every time I hooked a survivor I would head straight to the revealed location of the survivor even taking a path that would cut them off when i watch what direction they're moving. By the time i get to the point I should run into the survivors, i do a quick search for anywhere they could be hiding and somehow they manage to get to the hook. I have tried using this perk in a variety of different ways and it has never helped.
Am I using it wrong? Am i suppose to see if someones aura is NOT shown and search the close proximity? Because i did that too. I dunno why so many people gush over this perk, it doesn't seem all that good.

Sometimes you could be carrying a survivor and turn a corner that has a pallet that you're unaware of and get stunned. The Fog isn't always fair.
The point of having all 4 Survivors look alike is to make a Shell Game out of it. If the shell with the ball under it is unique from the others, it defeats the purpose.

Also, because you are close minded it explains your lack of depth, not an insult. No matter what you say I'll think what I think? How can you learn thinking like that. The first thing good survivors know is how strong they are and uses the strengths to their advantage.c_firavel said:By saying that I didn't care what streamers /devs say, I meant that no matter what they say about balancing I will disagree. I appreciate the advice but others in this thread are acting like elitists and automatically assume that I lack skill. I admit there is much I need to learn to do better, but so many toxic people are so quick to try and offend someone. I am aware that killers need an edge over the survivors, but i feel like it should be tweaked a little. I have used every item and add on save for some the ultra rare variety. I have tried to adapt but it seems like struggling when nabbed doesn't affect the killer ar times, although I am aware of the perks that lessen the effects of things that survivors do.
My point is simply this: killers shouldn't be able to resist/stop everything everytime in every situation, although it seems several (nearly every time I play a match) killers I've gone up against that they have all the answers.
Another bullet I've learned to dodge or at least try to, is the latency between me and the host. It would be nice to have dedicated servers, although I know that costs resources that may not be available for the devs. I can't tell you how many times I cleared a vault and was several feet away and the killer still hit me whilst on the other side of the obstacle. Or The Huntress's throwable hatchets zipped by me on my screen but the game registered a hit on me.
Thanks for the help.
Using different add ons, the rarest of the rare means nothing without skil. I used to think that too, I needed better perks, add ons, etc. Turns out none of those makes a survivor. Survivors can win at neutral no perks or add ons, or with a no mither handicap. I've done this myself. You're thinking in terms of tools instead of mechanics.
I appreciate your honesty, but that statement of not changing your thinking is the first sign of a bad player. Good players have to be open to learn. -
Killers should have control in their match if they're good. If you think killers are op regardless then you just aren't that good. Not an insult, it's a mathematical, mechanical fact. Very few killers can do much unless the survivor lets them. If you play casual and aren't good they can be op, but if you are aware of your advantages killers get washed. That's a hit box thing for the huntress, you're saying one killer. Explain all the reasons killers are op, your post sounds like noob material. Maybe you do have a valid point, but everything you said is reliant on the survivor.c_firavel said:By saying that I didn't care what streamers /devs say, I meant that no matter what they say about balancing I will disagree. Patrolling and camp are strategies that works especially against super altruistic teams while face camping its just an auto lose for killers
the emblem change is kinda dumb even if doesn't hurt too much, the chaser emblem is already kinda fd up, that would just hurt people who patrol. Still I won't cry about facecamping especially since when somebody do that the reasons are, they are mad to someone in particular or they are new -
Word, being camped is not fun and sucks though, for killer and survivor. But rip, it is a mechanic for now.Wolf74 said:How about "don't be the first on the hook"?
Do not jump the very first gen you see.
Do not run towards the nearest objective.
Try to play stealthy until you know who the killer is and actually where?
Wait until he found someone else first and than take action.I know, it's hard, because survivor love their gen rush and rather complain than adept, becasue that worked for 2 years now and Devs always gave what you asked for.

Yeh, the times isn't on them, but I'm saying it's a product of two sides playing for the same currency.Strider said:I don't think it's entirely the developers' fault for the queue times. There was however an oversight on their part that the vials have a hard cap that prevents you from harvesting more from the cankers even just for the bloodpoints. It's all trial and error at this point, and I hope this will be a valuable lesson to BHVR and other game devs in limited time event planning.
Agreed with your point on the event cosmetics though. They shouldn't make the skins available all year round, but make them available to buy/unlock seasonally. Something like how Overwatch handles their event items.
In regards to testing event mechanics before live releases, I think that's a bit of a tough one because they would then risk having leaks from players who play test the event before its release. Some more thorough QA testing would suffice.

Would means a change much needed to blood warden should be applied too, also you're not supposed to have security of knowing if other survivors are ok. Not all details should be given as that is another too to let a solo know a gate is open and they don't have to try to open another door. The end game just needs a change like timed doors or something not a quick fix. The problem is the mechanic, not the ui.
Honestly with how SWF runs the game I'm surprised they don't have a mini-map with all the information on it.

A lot of perks to mess with killers. You don't like killers much do you? Interesting idea, big waste of time but such a big change only mostly effective in swf groups. Killers also get a found survivor score for each survivor found so that scoring alone makes this not the best. Maybe the nurse will get hit the hardest with it but the scoring event for finding survivors once again goes right through the perk.Nos37 said:Shuffle the Deck
After being hooked twice by the Killer, all Survivors will appear to have the same appearance*, items, and injury status as you while you are being chased by the Killer. Visual changes only affect the Killer.
* Same Survivor skin, voice, and cosmetics.

If you think it's swf, use all the op stuff you can to avoid this. I'd rather get salt from them. People will talk stuff in any and every community. Might as well go hard for a 4k. The killer you used struggles against swf so damn, I feel your pain.DarkFox85 said:There have been some great SWF groups that are very sportsmanlike, but why, as consumers, should this sort of thing be allowed?

I've reported both and have a full video of the entire match but nothing will come of it. I swear to Christ I didnt even camp - which is good for the Hag.
Something needs to be done about SWF. End of.
It makes me want to hit back. Have a pop at all survivor mains. Be toxic myself.
It's not helpful...[EDIT: Forgot to mention. Checked them out - all 4 are friends]

Could never get any currency in kyf lolPeasant said:Is it at all possible to get the killer vials while playing KYF? I highly doubt that this is possible but with how bad killer wait times are I figured it's worth a try.
