Survivor Perk Idea: Shuffle the Deck

Shuffle the Deck

After being hooked twice by the Killer, all Survivors will appear to have the same appearance*, items, and injury status as you while you are being chased by the Killer. Visual changes only affect the Killer.

* Same Survivor skin, voice, and cosmetics.

Comments

  • What happens when more then one person has been hooked twice? Do they take the appearance of the last hooked character, or if someone has been hooked twice early on, is everyone appearing like that character for the rest of the game in killer perspective?

  • @xmenfanatic

It depends on who the killer is currently chasing.

If two Survivors have been hooked twice and the killer's chasing one, all Survivors will look like that one Survivor.

If the Killer then starts to chase another Survivor who has also been hooked twice, all Survivors will look like that Survivor as soon as the previous Survivor gets the Escaped Chase award.

If the Killer isn't chasing a twice-hooked Survivor then all Survivors appear as normal.

A lot of perks to mess with killers. You don't like killers much do you? Interesting idea, big waste of time but such a big change only mostly effective in swf groups. Killers also get a found survivor score for each survivor found so that scoring alone makes this not the best. Maybe the nurse will get hit the hardest with it but the scoring event for finding survivors once again goes right through the perk.

  • Oh, yeah. Forgot.

Same ITEM? So someone will blind me with his medkit?
Sorry, but that is pretty unfair.

  • Unfair? You mean because you cannot dodge the flashlight seeing as how you're past the lobby ready-up stage?

The only time a flashlight matters is during the Survivor pick-up. If you're no longer chasing the twice-hooked Survivor with a medkit then you will see the Survivor wielding a flashlight.

    Are you #########?
I am talking about YOUR suggestion.
Nothing to do with lobby dodging, bob. Survivor pick up is exactly what I am talking about.
ALL look the same. So survivor A is triggering that perk, I -the killer- down survivor B and see survivor C nearby. Since C is having a MEDKIT in his hand, I just pick up B and get blinded from a flashlight that was not visible for me.
    That is UNFAIR.

  • By the time you down Survivor B, you're no longer chasing Survivor A. The perk is only actively applying to whoever is being chased for the duration of the chase. Pick-ups hapen after chases end.

Sometimes you could be carrying a survivor and turn a corner that has a pallet that you're unaware of and get stunned. The Fog isn't always fair.

The point of having all 4 Survivors look alike is to make a Shell Game out of it. If the shell with the ball under it is unique from the others, it defeats the purpose.

Dead perk due to scoring event once again. Game tells you survivor found when you switch targets.

If there is another survivor beside you, the chase won't automatically stop.

Yeh, the chase ends when anyone with the survivor found scoring is downed  or out of sight that had the score registered in the same chase.
