Never. I find farming with survivors boring. It`s their problem that their friend DCed, i only lost ~700bp in sacrificing category
Exactly. I think I did that only one time because a survivor's group DCed on first down after being toxic and he was the only one that wasn't the same way. We just went our separate ways to find better games.
-
No terror radius Myers can wreck groups because you show up in their midst and watch them run around like roaches from the kitchen light. Wraith too when you fix the Bell with add ons.
-
If you have a Mori, kill the first one you can. Slugging is iffy because SWF run comms but that's one less person on gens. I used to Insidious camp out of view so I could stalk the rest to EW3 and down the rescuer and pressure the rest.
-
TBH, I never liked him since the movies.
-
Can I run all second chance perks IRL? Then hell yeah I could.
-
How to fix Ghostface:
Play Myers
-
That's not as easy as it sounds when survivors gen rush all day. If you're not Billy/Nurse/Spirit and decide you want to have "fun" as a killer outside of them, there's a great chance that's not happening. Especially if you decide to not run Ruin. You're lucky if you can get multiple hooks on multiple people by the time the gen count goes to zero.
-
Didn't you know? Survivors have the ear of The Entity.
-
Been there before. Entity displeased?! The Entity can go screw itself after that. Brutality and Sacrifices should carry more weight than running around and kicking gens when your ultimate goal is to kill/sacrifice survivors.
-
Why haven't we gotten anything to stop gen rush with non top tier killers? Because that's one of the reasons to face camp. I love how survivor mains complain about one side of the game while disregarding the other. I bet OP never said, "damn these gens are popping fast, maybe that needs to be addressed so the killer does not need to double down on securing a kill".

It is NOT a must.
Did you actually read ANY of my comments regarding developing better SKILLS at determining whether particular chases are risky or not?!?!?!
Well if you want to consistently lose with less mobile killers then I guess not. You can have all the SKILLS in the world but that means nothing when the core issue is balancing and design flaws. I can have all the skills with killers without high mobility but if a team is set on genrushing, you're already handicapped and that's putting it mildly. Games with it and without it are night and day.
-
There are no overpowered killers when you can gen rush, have 20 second chance perks, and still win after dying.
-
If I'm already going to lose the game, I'll camp. If I see your buddy behind the hook I'll camp. If I turn my back on you for 2 seconds and you get unhooked, I'll camp. The killers' job is to kill. If you're a survivor, I don't care about your ability to have fun and win off my expense. There's nothing to be gained from ranking up. The pip system for killers is unfair anyway. You can get punished anyway for not doing it.
-
The best way to de-rank is to play killer.

@TreemanXD A crutch perk is not simply that. A crutch perk can also be about how limiting it is to a players thinking and judgement, and scope of strategy. I.e. “i rely on blah blah perk because I don’t know how to do this myself”.
Most killers use Ruin because they have lacked the skills to constantly make subjective judgements throughout the trial as to what’s more prudent at that particular moment in the trial: engaging/persisting in a chase or resuming gen patrol/pressure.
This subsequently leaves most killers very angry if ruin is cleansed early in the trial and genuinely left feeling “Well great. Now what do i do?” because they’ve limited their playstyle/strategy/thinking in this game to simply engage in a chase with every survivor they spot and not give up till they’ve downed them. Ruin cultivates bad habits for killers. Ruin should compliment effective gen control, NEVER be in lieu of gen control. And even then once effective gen pressure strategies and habits are formed, Ruin feels useless, a wasted perk slot, and just as risky as any other hex perk, a perk slot better used for something else. Gosh even TTS is a tremendously more useful hex than Ruin once a player feels confident in their abilities to control gens.
Ruin is a must on most killers with no map pressure. You speak as if all killers are as good as the top tier, which they sure as hell not. You can have all the strategy in the world but if survivors gen rush, there's not much you can do to slow down the game. Unless you have some awesome strategy that no one has come up with...

I only did P2 with Myers because he looks sick with bloody clothes. The face not so much. I like the classic mask clean. Other than that it's not worth it unless you like your person and play no one else to add more perks to the web.
-
He's sending them to The Entity so he can frame them in the Hall of The Fog.
-
Maybe they're legit scared of him. That happens when I play The Doctor or Scratched Mirror Myers.
-
Had a guy complain he got camped when the other one left alive was hiding in a locker around the corner from the hook. Stupid fools don't know situational awareness.
-
How in the hell does fake pallets help anything? Basically sounds like a time waster and a gimme to survivors.

I think we need to see the fake pallets in action. I know they said that the pallets explode into blood when they are used, so we'll see if that ends up doing anything or if that's just a purely visual thing.
If he has to set up fake pallets, it's not worth seeing in action. If it takes less than a second maybe. But meanwhile, you're getting gen rushed.
-
Waiting for Pinhead. Let's get some original powers again.
-
Fake pallets that you have to set is a waste of Freddy's time. Where would you have time to set up such things on top of everything else? The Doctor's pallet setup is better.
-
Trash perk. Rewards ######### play and gives toxic survivors more ammo. Would be nice to kill them outright.
-
Try hard. They all deserve to die.
-
We hate each other already. For every one good survivor there are 3 ######### waiting to erase whatever good experience you have with them. I'd rather wait eons than deal with the BS they bring.
-
On a lot of killers it's not that you want to, it's that you HAVE to. Especially ones that take time to set up traps or need to build momentum. It's easy to say that "oh well change your strategy" or "learn to apply pressure" when killers can't inherently apply it. BBQ is needed to go through the web to get the perks you want. Past that, you can be more creative on builds and take risks. I don't run Ruin on Billy/Nurse/Doctor anymore because of their ability to apply pressure. Hag might be next but she can defend a lot better. But until the gen rush is addressed or a better perk comes out, it's here to stay.
-
Survivors camp hooks and gens so it goes both ways. If I see you behind the bush next to the person I just hooked, I don't see anyone else with BBQ and Chili, or if I turn my back and get not 3 meters and my hook just got saved, I'm pitching my tent with no remorse. It's called using altruism against them. You turn games around by slowing it down that way. That's not even addressing hook rushes with the rest of the team.
-
Toxic survivors make me want to beat them and everyone else after them like a pinata on the hook and pitch a tent, regardless if I pip or not. I've found that Scratched/Vanity Mirror with Dead Rabbit makes a lot of them DC from the jump.
-
I haven't played Wraith to make it teachable but M&A is mandatory for her with me. A lower terror radius means you get the drop on them easier.
-
I wish I could block toxic survivors. Which amounts to about half of them.
-
Lol probably because he realized he was playing Trapper.
-
Turn off chat when playing this game.
-
As 100% killer main, I really don't care what I'm labeled. You're damned it you play "fair" anyway. If you try to bully me, I'm going to make sure a survivor gets hooked. If you teabag me, either you or your teammate gets beat like a pinata until I get tired. I don't message anyone after the game but if I happen to have messages turned on and you want to talk trash, you're getting it back. Fight fire with fire. Survivors don't care about you so why should you care about them?

How obvious of you to skid around the OPs original complaint: DC'ing on either side punishes ALL players.
Calm them Killah Main fingaz down and READ.
That's funny, because OP said the magic words: gen rush. Address it. DCing survivors don't penalize me it just makes my job that much easier. Calm down, survivor mayne and go posse up like the lot of you do anyway.

I feel the Doctor is mostly unplayable on console. All the shocks and effects he makes, lags the game to below 30 fps.
The game lags in general. Usually before you hit a survivor or a notification ends up freezing you. Other than that, the Doctor is a beast on console.
-
This is a bait post. Anytime anyone says Billy/Nurse need nerfs it's survivor mains trying to fake legitimacy saying they play killer.
-
Probably make them slower.

Pinhead could work as the next strategic killer. Though i'd have to rewatch hellraiser to explain why.
He or Cenobite would probably work like the Hag, setting up Lament Configuration boxes that survivors trip, releasing hooked chains like a web.
-
Not by survivor logic. They can't accept that there's a chance some of them will die by going into the most unsafe place in the game. We're Gonna Live Forever!!!

how is that a loss? I really hope you're not referring to pipping, we already know the emblem system and ranks suck
That's exactly what I'm referring to. Nice to know getting penalized for playing well doesn't look to be changing any time soon.

@Pirscher said:
I cant see Pinhead as a killer in this game. When I think about him, I just picture him standing around and talking..
When I think about Ghostface, all I can see is him getting high and tripping over couches. Wonder if he'll trip over pallets too.
-
Ghostface is trash. Not scary at all. He's going to run into all the survivor perks that nullify everything he does. Pinhead already comes with hooks and chains.
-
Great. He'll just look around the corner at survivors teabagging while they gen rush him.
-
When you can kill 3 out of 4 survivors and get more points than them and still lose, that's when you know something is broken.
-
How about increasing the time that gens get done or discouraging blatant hook camping by survivors? The more this happens, the more tents get pitched to slow the game when you're not top tier killers.
-
Strategic killers require time. Of which you don't have when gens are popping like Orville Redenbacher.

First, camping is boring and frustrating for the guy who is on the hook in most cases.
Second, no it is not effective at all, unless you know the Survivor are very alturistic.
Who cares if it's frustrating to the other guy? Do they give you hooks and kills?
-
Just got into an argument with a survivor for 30 min on the topic of camping (specifically end game camping) and wanted to hear yalls thoughts (=
Your mistake was trying to argue with survivors. Their objectives and views are diametrically opposed to killers. If you're even on the same map as them, you're camping. Never mind that it slows games to give you the win when you might not have.
-
99.99% killer. Toxic survivors from day one made me never want to associate with that side at all. Only time I played survivor was because my friend who never seen the game pushed for it.
