@DBD_Pinhead @Andreyu44 moris are cheap. Winning with a mori is not really winning, unless you hold it for after their second hook stage. Likewise, losing against a killer with mori can still be a win. Not talking about pips here, but actual performance. On the other hand, some moris are pure beauty. Just review your definition of "win" and "loss", and you'll see they are not a big deal.
The only thing cheap about moris is pressing a button. Winning with a mori is winning if you don't count pips. As a killer, your goal is to eradicate survivors. It's a perfect counter especially on sub par killers.

This argument makes 0 sense.
Just cause it needs to kill doesn't mean that this objective should be super easy because of an offering.
This argument makes no sense. Doing gens is super easy. So should killing survivors. You have to find and catch survivors often armed with second chance builds, insta heals, keys, and BNP toolboxes.
-
Moris yeah right. You do know a KILLER is supposed to KILL?
-
It's the same on Xbox. You can literally be on top of someone and the frame rate drops to practically zero and they get away. The same goes for notifications in early to mid game.
-
Just about everyone would get Irridescent with the quickness.
-
Seeing as how my last post got deleted I'll say it again: SURVIVORS DESERVE EVERYTHING THEY GET IN TOXICITY BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO PROBLEMS DISHING IT OUT FOR NO REASON. Especially on console. The easiest thing to do is turn off messages for this game (which is sad because they can't help themselves) and if you feel like fighting fire with fire do it. The mods might not like hearing the truth but such things hurt.

Survivors who just rush and leave, you ain't getting points.
Killers who 4k waay too fast, ain't getting points.
To me this is a sign of young/new killers and survivors who are still treating the game as a schoolyard game of tag, rather than a strategy game. Good games are when all the survivors and killers are on the same page working to maximize the efforts of their time.
I hate wasting my "points for everyone" sacrifices on these ... people ...
I see the PIP tool as trying to remind people to relax and explore more of what the game has to offer.
I am also eager to see if the rework will promote more of this behavior.
So someone else notices when you be nice and use BPS or Gateaus you get rewarded with gen rushing and de-pips.
-
It's smarter to use them when you want, not when others dictate to you. Survivors could have been try hard red ranks before reset.
-
Moris are fine. Except Cypress. Buff that. Killers are supposed to kill. One of the things the devs got right. Gotta kill a few survivors to send a message once in a while.

I just want survivors to have an Ultra rare offering to counteract the Killer's ebony. It's never fun to go against someone who has a guaranteed win unless they are rank 20 and suck at the game.
You mean toolboxes and keys aren't enough?

I see a ton of tunneling and camping gens. So it balances out.

As a Bubba main comments like these hurt my soul. Leatherface is a solid killer with a legit instadown. He only needs some addon buffs or addon reworks especially his chilli addons. His ability itself is more than just fine and people who use him to camp just need to learn how the chainsaw works.
Yes. He needs something that gives him a boost in speed but not when he's convulsing for 5 minutes. Best I can do is an anti gen build.
-
Nah it's cool. I play MK11 and that's enough Brutality for me. But they are floating the idea of exploding blood pallets so why not?
-
Freddy sounds like he's being nerfed with powers that do nothing but slow him down. If he has to set traps, that's a nerf because when is he going to have time to set up pallets and traps on top of everything else a killer already has to deal with? Why do I need to have exploding pallets that do nothing but blow up? Doc can set pallets just by ability alone. Dream snares sound like Sprint Burst will negate that so you just wasted some more seconds setting traps while gens are a'poppin'. IMO if those two "abilities" get dropped he'll be more interesting to play.
-
Exactly. The emblem system for killers punishes you for doing your primary job and being efficient at it. Like survivors are going to stand still and share campfire stories with you so you can get your emblems up if you care about rank.

typically I'd say ruin isn't needed on nurse but I heard she's a struggle to play on console. running perks isn't toxic tho.

what a joke of a statement
No a joke is running into teams running second chance crutch perks that rewards bad play and gives them false confidence to do toxic things like teabag. Your response is also a joke.
-
How is it fair that the emblem system punishes killers for doing their job but rewards survivors for gen rushes?
How is it fair for survivors to bully killers with no fear and sense of respect for the opposite side's objective?
How is it fair that most killers have to fight through 20 second chance crutch perks against the clock, but survivors whine that moris and destructible perks exist to not make them look like complete, impotent fools?
-
Running 4 perks is not toxic. Running into 4 of multiple second chance perks in a single game is.
-
Something needs to be done. Because survivors don't have to interact with anything else to win games. They just tunnel gens like killers tunnel them and outside top tier killers, even thinking about playing for variety is out of of the question once you get to purple and red ranks.
-
Playing with friends isn't inherently cheating. And I'm not addressing the capability of such groups to exploit the matchmaking system. I'm saying that whatever the survivor group or make up is, that they should be ranked with a killer equal to the highest rank of the group. If that means longer wait times then so be it. We've just proven that queue times can take forever and people still wait to play.
-
Boyyyy!!!! That's all I have to say. ๐๐

Awwww, cutie... I'm killer main, this rules are for us to have harder and more enjoyable games, and still, using this rules I get 4/4 almost every game... I guess not everybody can win using this manual...
In case you didn't know, the game is hard enough for killers as it is. Even moreso if you're not playing with a top tier killer. If you like to handicap yourself to appease your opponents more power to you. Just don't expect others to do the same.
-
Lmao not even a spork?
-
I have a better book:
1) Turn off chat. Survivors don't deserve to pollute your inbox with ######### unless you want to let the salt mines flow.
2) Pitch that tent and camp like you're Bear Grylls in the Alaskan Wilderness. To survivors, being in the same map as them is camping. Hell, playing in the same region as them is camping. You'd be amazed how you turn games around by standing your ground on the neck of a survivor.
3) If a survivor disconnects (which is often), show no mercy to the rest. It's not your fault their buddy had better things to do. Maybe let one live if the rest followed suit.
4) Tunnel like you're Andy Dufresne about to have your first taste of freedom from stupid survivor rules. The game penalizes you for being efficient as it is, if they can gen rush, you can victim rush.
5) What Frozenscum said.
-
Because everyone and their mom is probably playing with him. This includes survivor mains.
-
Ghostface seems to be popular with the young crowd who never seem to have heard of Halloween. That's probably why I fail to see the appeal.
-
I noticed that too. I got perks for most of the killers I played and dumped a lot of BPs into The Spirit and got her up to 50. Now I'm actually playing her and I have at least 22 Gateaus. I must say I might main her now.
-
Nice bait. Would be true if Imitation Myers had his own powers instead of lesser versions of the OG.
-
I like the fact that you put a lot of thought into him but he's simply too small. It does not look like the devs would be willing to overhaul killer mechanics to cater to just one killer. That backlash from survivors on such a small killer doing such things would be immense, probably forcing him to be nerfed anyway.
-
@SadonicShadow said:
lol you think killers give a ######### about a meaningless emblem? Rank does not matter in this game. Any sensible player understands that depipping as killer = good. Making the emblems more punishing for camping does absolutely nothing. A better idea is dont give the killer a reason to camp. Dont bum rush the hooks, dont 3 gen yourself, if he is proxying then pressure gens. Give the killer a reason to leave. If the killer is camping to troll well your suggestion is still pointless because they dont care about rank if it meant something or not.
This guy gets it. If you're playing killer and gens are popping left and right, sometimes that's the only way to slow the game down because obviously survivors are going to keep going. It doesn't even look like survivors get penalized for that since the broken killer emblem tries to force killers to play nice with survivors that have no reason to do the same. It forces groups with diametrically opposed objectives to somehow work as a team. Furthermore, there comes a time in the game where rank doesn't matter to a killer if they know they will already lose the game and not even fulfill their actual reason for existing, which is to kill and sacrifice. So what if they de-pip? You're not rewarded for rank anyway.

He'll be low tier, just like the rest of the M1 killers (Myers, Wraith, Pig, etc.). At least in my games, people are already learning to abuse the detection perks to cancel NS, and if not that then they're grouped in 2 to make sure someone is always staring during chases.
Myers low tier? Citation needed.
-
Right? I'm waiting for shirtless Myers to drop to scare survivors with his chiseled frame.
-
Myers is superior. Ghostface always seemed like a lesser imitation.
-
When you set her traps like a spider's web she's a beast at snowballing. She's one of the few that Thanatophobia is still good on.
-
Unless a moderator says otherwise, he can post this topic here because it deals with an issue killers deal with. They also tunnel gens and then want to talk about killers doing it.

Both sides can be and are equally toxic. End of narrative.
Both sides can be equally toxic. But only survivors love to create whole novels of messages to go with their toxicity. End of narrative.
-
The only thing good about him is that he could run under pallets. Vaulting would kill him unless he was faster than the standard killer. His field of vision would be the worst in the game. And he'd get nerfed anyway.
-
Yeah Gatekeeper shouldn't carry as much weight. If you're a killer, kills and sacs should matter more. Not if you hit or not hit a gen. Even chasing them off should count more too. The game will make you choose whether to chase a survivor or hit a gen that may or may not get powered by the end of the game if you care about pips.
-
Because anything else would interfere with their "fun" of teabagging.
-
DBD has Nurse. That's good enough.
-
I seen this all last week on the survivor side. I would stay around rank 11-10 and get survivor groups with at least someone rank 4-2, at least one purple, and a yellow. Maybe a green sprinkled here and there. They should be matched up with a killer based on the highest rank in the survivor group.
-
His chainsaw is absolutely terrible on the console. This would be mitigated if he could move faster during it without the add on taking 84 years to charge it.
-

I honestly don't understand the purpose of rank reset ?
You basically lose your rank ? Aaaand that's it. No rewards, no nothing. Just worse games. Especially as survivor.
And then you have to through the stress of getting back there again.

Any game that is online is full of dicks. If it bothers you that much just take people's names and dodge them when you see them again.
I don't know if you can block people on the PC. I play on Xbox where you used to be able to block people where you rarely played with/against those people again. My list would be so huge it would be a phone book or a word document where most of my time in the prematch lobby would consist of Ctrl+F+ insert toxic name here. ๐คฃ

Both sides are toxic. End of narrative.
Both sides have the ability to be toxic. But only survivors are consistent and legion. End of narrative.
-
This is why there's no reason to try to rank up. You get zero rewards other than a new color next to your name for a few weeks.
-
@Mochan said:
Both are just as toxic. Some people swear survivors are more toxic but this isn't true at all.
I've been in many matches where the killer hols the then swings at your body over and over (something which the devs even considered removing from the game because it is toxic) while. None of the survivors did anything toxic, except maybe DC.
People claiming one side is lore toxic than the other is just a one-side main with a bone to pick and a narrative to push.
Survivors are toxic. End of narrative.
-
You're spot on. I play on console and by luck I started with killer. Every 2 or 3 games I thought the name should have been Bully Simulator 2019. People have their own definition of what toxic is but when you're starting out, everything that is disrespectful to the other side outside of actual gameplay is toxic. I even had to turn of my message settings specifically for this game on console because it wasn't enough for survivors to beat you. They love to go the extra mile and out of their way to taunt and ridicule. Then you add all the 2nd chance crutch perks in and they think they're God or an agent of The Entity. That first week cemented my reason to never ever play survivor because I didn't want to associate with that #########. Now when I encounter in game toxicity I'll go out of my way to tunnel, camp, and beat people like pinatas on the hook. I don't even care if I throw the game away because it's cathartic to me. And if I end up getting consecutive games of toxic survivors, which is often, then everyone after that for the rest of the day is dealing with a toxic killer because I will take no chances.
-
And back in the day people died of gangrene, scurvy, plague, and smallpox so I guess we should stay complacent now.

Depends if the killer brings their OP perks in
Killers have OP perks? That must be in the sequel.
