Idk why people do it, but people get mad over it for no reason, so maybe that's why

Solo queue is fine. Matchmaking and ranking aren't. Don't confuse the two.
-
This is very normal unfortunately. However the first one was 100% a smurfing SWF. When matchmaking is bad, you get more variety in ranks than that. They put a lower rank in their lobby to get matched with a lower rank killer.

Just asking, I thought this Tome was about the Plague and Bill, right?
That challenge is so dumb. That's completely dependant on the survivors.

I like having one powerful totem when I'm not playing to win. It gives me more time to have fun with the chase.

Then LoL is not the right game to play. If you want to grow a watcher base, you want to play a newer game. Older games already have many people streaming it, having built their own community. It is really hard to get between there.
A lot of people stream really old games that only have like 2 other people streaming them to gain dedicated viewers, then they switch to a popular game, bringing viewers with them.

So much this. Hope he succeeds with LoL. I bet streamers like Otz are fed up with this game too but won't risk moving entirely to another game. DbD would lose half their streamers if people would not care about their viewer counts/established fanbase and just be honest with themselves.
I hope this happens.
This game could literally be my job.

Finding a good combination of perks for killers must be tough. With so many unique powers and then so many unique perks that are often meant specifically to complement those powers, it must be a lot of trial and error to produce the best killing machine.
I didn't even know, for example, that people could play all kinds of versions of Michael Myers that apparently do totally different things. I like the flexibility of this game quite a bit, even if it is overwhelming for newcomers.
Run Sloppy on every killer except for Huntress and Trickster. Always run BBQ for BP. Run Corrupt on every killer except for Nurse if you're good with her. Monitor and Abuse is really good on most killers, unless they have built in stealth. Save the best for last is good on killers like Trapper, Wraith, and Spirit. Enduring is good on killers like Billy, and is really good with Spirit Fury. Hex:Ruin is good on every killer that can pressure gens. For example Oni, Billy, Nurse, and Spirit.
Hopefully this helps you make some good builds.

Its clear they can see stats, why cant i go see my own stats?
So many multiplayer games let you see your stats and others online.....
Id love to see this with the ability to change the timeline:
- Most used perks
- best map for escapes/average BP
- Average chase time with/vs each killer
- Average time alive overall/each map/ vs each killer
- Average Hooks per game as killer
- Average success rate/chase time using each structure (this might not be possible but id love to see how efficient i am at a structure WITH THE PALLET UP)
- Stun rate over all pallet drops
Hand over the api, let someone do it BHVR
Only helps your community, doesn't hurt anything
I can answer most of these from memory.
Most used perks: Iron will, BBQ
Best maps for escape: Ormond or any Macmillan
Average BP: 62k(killer) 20k(survivor)
Average chase time: 20 seconds(nurse only)
Average time alive(vs every killer on any map): 7 minutes
Average hooks per game as killer(nurse): 8( I'll with slug and 1 hook to death or get a 12 hook game, no in between.)
Stun rate for pallet drops: 50%. If I want a stun, I'll be as greedy as humanly possible until I get it, but I often predrop pallets to buy more time, or when I can't afford to greed them.

Yeah I don't play killer much but Sloppy Butcher, as you implied, actually looks like one of the better perks.
It's insane on any killer that doesn't use their power for all hits. Or Nurse, where her power counts for it.

Yeah, Adept Myers is painful because you're not really allowed to use your power or Chaser will come and bite you in the ass. Which is something I think they seriously need to look at when it comes to instadown powers. First time I 'got' it, I ended up flunking out from iris across the board and silver Chaser. So you're stuck playing an M1 killer with no addons that are useful to you and a handicap at the start of the match unless you really go out of your way to farm chases and let survivors pick each other up. Though having a tiny TR is nice, and Save The Best For Last really helps compared to some adepts that are basically perkless runs (Huntress and Wraith, looking at you.) I ended up getting it on Cowshed, of all of the things.
I didn't mind any other adepts.
Trapper is pretty easy because you don't lost chaser emblems when you use your power
Wraith is pretty easy because you can play hit and run, chase two people normally and you get iridescent chaser and brutality.
Hillbilly was a bit harder, but if you use the saw sparingly, it's fine.
I main Nurse, so no issues with her.
With Hag I just placed traps, but still chased people.
With Doctor I just played normally.
With Huntress I just played normally.
With Myers I was an M1 killer with no power on Plagues map. Did I mention that I was rank 1?
Yeah though. Not going to go on with this, but Myers and Plague were the hardest ones to get.

The nurse has a faster mobility and even floating around while Spirit is walking and disappearing to the other world.
Maybe the nurse died at some point and she is a ghost like Spirit?
But then wouldn't she go to a different dimension while blinking than Wraith does while being cloaked? She'd go to the same place Spirit does, so I'm gonna go with no.
This is my theory with her.
She experienced a lot of mental trauma to the point where she couldn't do much more than sit and basically be a vegetable. Her legs don't work right because she didn't use them enough, so the Entity made her float so she could kill for it.

I mentioned elsewhere that I wish we could skip some (or all) of the items we don't want or need in the bloodweb. I'm so tired of going to exhaust all the stuff that I've stored up by level 50 so I can prestige without wasting it only to see that I have 20 maps, keys, and flashlights that I'll never use. Hundreds of thousands of bloodpoints wasted.
Wouldn't mind a little better randomization of the perks either, I really don't need "Deja Vu", "Premonition" and "Sloppy Butcher" being offered to me every single time when I know damn well I've unlocked like 15 other perks that I'd like to use (and never show up).
EDIT: That said, I'll say the same thing I did a few days ago: A new player shouldn't be looking at this game as a rush to hurry up and grind for the greatest perks, they should take their time learning and enjoying the game. I mean if they want to rush that's their prerogative, but by doing so they're basically just ignoring the fun part so they can try to cram in years' worth of content as fast as possible. That seems like a backwards way to play this game, I don't know.
Idk why you wouldn't use sloppy, but whatever.
-
@Kalec84 said:
Exactly, onestly i think just removing the 3 perk levels will reduce the grind a lot.
Or allow us to "destroy" items we dont need or want in exchange for BP, or again remove the cap, if not for the max bloodpoint you can have, they can remove the cap to the bp you can earn in game (wich mean even if the category is "full" during the trial, BP keep being earned)
there are a lot of things they can do, they just have to try, no one will ever complain because "now is easier to get perks and BP" it just wont happen
If they do this, I hope they give us BP to make up for the BP we spent on those tiers.
Like maybe 500 million?

Just curious about everyone's Dead By Daylight achievements. Looking at global achievements, which is the rarest achievement you have, the most common one that you don't, and the hardest one you've gotten under your belt?
My current rarest is Multi-Tasker (0.1% - though that's only because it's new. 30 downs while carrying strikes me as the sort of achievement any killer will get over time eventually), and the most common one I'm missing is Holiday Get-Together (13.7%.) I tend not to guard the basement much because it's meaner than I like to play, so I've never wiped a team in the basement as a result.
Hardest I've done was Adept Trapper. I got fairly lucky relatively early on and got a team that was more interested in doing daring saves than gens, because otherwise I can't imagine getting it - Trapper without any gen slowdown is brutal and I just couldn't get enough pressure in the remaining part of the game. Doesn't help that Trapper is a snowball killer, and killing everyone too good won't get you adepts, so you really don't have a choice but to let people go (which can then come back to bite you.)
Hardest one I've done was adept Michael. I basically had no power, and the map was HUGE.

Just learn the timing to stop vaults and pallet drops. That's all there is to him.

Holding the game hostage is:
- Survivors not progressing the game by not doing generators, not activating the gate and instead hiding all game, bodyblocking other survivors into a corner, etc.
- Killers not progressing the game by slugging all 4 and watching everyone bleed out (not trying to look for/hook anybody), bodyblocking other survivors into a corner, etc.
You weren't holding the game hostage. Slugging is an important factor that can sometimes determine a win or loss. As long as you were actively trying to chase somebody else for the 4 instead of watching the survivors bleed out, you're fine.
Holding the game hostage means it CAN'T end. Slugging people to death has a 4 minute timer, meaning that it's not holding it hostage.

It helped me leave no scratchmarks and it can be used against her phasing too, she phases when chasing you, you walk TOWARDS her, woks most of the times, it's the same thing as blinding then walking towards her, both blinded and phasing, she can't see where you're going, works the same way.
Again, any semi decent spirit will still hit you.
-
@Carlosylu said:
Yes she has, and it's a really helpful perk against most killers, It's called "Fixated"
Here's an example against a rank 1 Spirit
https://xboxclips.co/carlosmg-yt/b0b019e2-96c1-40c5-8da4-51ddf46b4806
Please feel free to share any other counterplays against her to help survivors who think she's OP
EDIT: Please note there ARE really good spirits out there who can outplay this, BUT, most games against a Spirit, even against rank 1s, this is going to work. "please prove it by accepting scottjund challenge", ahm... MOST spirits are NOT as good as him... just saying...
That's not a counter to Spirit.
You blinded them and they swung. Any semi-decent killer would've still hit you.
Not to mention the fact the this requires an item and a perk.

It's possible
Use furtive chase or be a tunneling #########.

Discarded report reasons
THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT CONSIDERED BANNABLE OFFENSES - PLEASE DO NOT REPORT:
Camping
Slugging
Tunneling
Streamsniping
Teabagging
Bodyblocking
Looping
GRIEFING: INTENTIONAL GAMEPLAY ABUSE
- Working with the opposite team to gain an advantage or grief teammates
- Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience
- Holding the game hostage
Now my problem is that under the 2nd part of griefing - "Targeting" (babysitting /tunneling) specific users repeatedly in order to ruin gameplay not the definition of tunneling babysitting?
Can we appreciate that slugging and looping are on there? 😂
-
@MeltingPenguins said:
Now, I don't wanna hear any of that 'slugging is a legit tactic and sometimes necessary' stuff. This is about people who go and slug right from the start, leaving people to bleed out. maybe with the exception of the obsession for the extra points. and of course they'll go and knock down anyone with UB immediately.
Cause by all means that is holding the game hostage, which is banable iirc.
No it's not. Theres a bleed out timer, which forces the game to end.
The only side that can take the game hostage is survivors.

Nurse or Blight. Powerful, fun to play, and you get respect from other players if you get really good with them.
-
@PsyQuil77 said:
1.) As a killer, why would you slug for a 4k less than 3 min into a match?
2.) As a survivor, what do you do when a killer does this?
Just had a SM Meyers do this in a match, 1 died on 2nd hook, the rest on first hook.
been seeing this behavior a lot in killers recently and wanted some insight.
If I get teabagged or clicked at, I'll make the game as unenjoyable for that person as humanely possible. If the whole team does it, then I'll slug them all.
I don't really find either of those things toxic, but clicking is really annoying, and teabagging is essentially calling yourself better than the killer. So I'll prove them wrong.

Any killer that says they only run it for BP is lying I've seen killers running it in red ranks they always spin round and look where the survivors are then go off towards them and spirit is the worst culprit of that exact play style hook, check phase repeat. It's boring and unfun for survivors sure hide in a locker but most maps have dead zones where lockers never spawn and when you're there you are guaranteed to be caught with BBQ.
LMFAO NOT TRUE
If I wanted tracking I'd run Thrilling or Whispers.

Not really.
BBQ is certainly ran because it has the bp bonus on it, but it's also a generally useful perk with the aura reading. You move the bonus bp onto a perk that is basically useless and you won't see it ran anymore than it already is.
All moving the bp bonus would do is make perks like thrilling tremors ran more.
Not any MORE, but that perk would have the same usage a BBQ does now.
Most players don't run BBQ for tracking.

True. I thought of that. That's why I made Hierro.
Which, by the way, is a buff by the Entity. Hierro protected against sword wounds, but something blunt would still hurt him if it hit hard enough.
Also, read Freddy's backstory. The Entity did nerf him. I referenced PH because of the deal, not because the Entity nerfed him.
