he got his 50 wins in a row after many failed attempts, he managed to triumph and outperform the activation delay of yellow bottles, though from watching his video, so many survivors do not drop pallets early vs clown. It allowed him to get so many hits. I wonder if he will be able to continue his streaks when MMR is finally implemented and killers start facing survivors of their own skill-level. That temple of purgation match will be every match for clown for high mmr. In the end, you still have to give him credit, winning with clown even in this random matchmaking is still an achievement that not many can brag about. I could feel pain in playing clown half of those matches.
I'd say Clown was probably the hardest 50 win streak that Otz has done so far, and I'm very impressed as well. Can't wait to see the Wraith one, since it should be hopefully better for him with the Wraith buff coming next chapter. Although he'll have to do as best as he can with Wraith since he's just a M1 killer
-
He definitely needs a rework in some sort that makes him actually interesting to play, instead of him being a killer who just stabs you constantly.
-
So far as it stands changes are gonna be made for Demo, Huntress, and Freddy this year. So Legion might not get something, maybe till next year I'm imagining.
-
Personally I think it should have always been like this, I didn't like the change of losing add ons if I survived the trial. It honestly just made wanting to use an item feel pointless

I am honestly hoping they finally listened to the feedback on Trickster (We'll never know though until release, because again, they don't tell us jack all); but I really hope they are adjusting his kit and balancing him better.
If they are doing that, the delay is absolutely worth it no matter how long it takes.
It's quite ridiculous how we have to rely on leakers to tell us this information, don't think it's that hard to make a tweet about this.

Thanks for getting our hopes up for nothing >:(
You Clown
I jinxed it, my bad. But if we're lucky enough, maybe will get some more Trickster buffs. Maybe...
-
Is BHVR actually finally learning from their mistakes!? Guess we'll know know in another week, expectations are gonna remain very low though.
-
I wonder since this chapter got delayed til next week if we'll actually get the changes that everyone has been wanting for Trickster, cause I was ready to take lots of L's tomorrow.

My shards are not ready because the constant BAN. Just got a 24 hours ban this morning after last 6 hours BAN. The game crashed and I'm banned. W O W.
The DC penalty can't even detect if someone left a match or not by pressing leave match, don't think people should get unfairly banned because of game crashes.

I wonder how long we will see the new killer before he "vanishes". Usually, when a new chapter releases, we see the new killer non stop for 2 weeks.
Pizza head was 5 days. Twins were 2 days. I think the trickster will be somewhere between 2 and 5 days.
I'll give it a three for right now

I honestly don’t care who, or what, the next killer is as long as the 5th Anniversary event is good. The last event that I truly enjoyed was the 4th Anniversary. The Halloween and new years events this time around were huge letdowns so I’m just hopeful that the Devs redeem themselves and give us an actual event. I honestly wouldn’t even mind if the next killer is also Twin/Trickster tier as long as the event is actually an event and not just another sign in to get free shards and bp embarrassment. All I want is cosmetics that we can earn through the event with some double bp, event cakes and items. As long as they fulfill this I’d honestly be super happy. The Devs have said that they’re going to focus all their efforts on the Anniversary and Halloween events in the future so my expectations are very high. I’d like to be all high and mighty and say that I’ll boycott the game if they don’t deliver a good event, but we both know that’d be a lie.
And if the devs disappoint then they'll definitely be hearing all the criticism, and feeling all the heat. That Halloween Event from last year was such a major letdown, and this is all to blame cause of the Tomes.

The Trickster was received better than the Twins tbh. He was just a little polarized regarding his design.
The Twins were a mess. Messy launch, game breaking bugs and somewhat lackluster gameplay.
Trickster is a better chapter than Binding of Kin no doubt.
Well badly received in terms of power I should say, because you can't ignore how dumb it feels to have throw eight blades at a survivor to get them injured and their laceration will drop if you leave chase with them. In terms of how his power was made, it's just straight up not good at all which is why people have been saying he's the worst killer in the game before he even releases. The only way to really make him actually good, is to just make him OP.

The game is an annoying map regardless of perks tbh it’s just trash
Would be a great question to ask the devs of why the map is infested with god pallet after god pallet for their next Q&A, because I can remember on the PTB it wasn't even that bad. But then for some reason the devs just went, hey guys we're adding all these additional god pallets to the Game map since we don't have anywhere else to put them because we can't release no new maps right now. I generally believe all those god pallets are from new maps that have yet to be added yet, I'll stick to that theory for right now.

You were absolutely spot on at the end there. It genuinely feels like this is just a filler chapter to keep us going until the the real ‘main event’ that being the 5th Anniversary. I mean, I’m honestly only excited for the buffs to Wraith and Blight, as well as the DS nerf. I genuinely do not care about the new killer at all which is unfortunately becoming a trend (at least for me). The last killer they released that I actually cared enough about to at least try was Blight, and he was released way back in September. Save for the occasional good change to perks or killers, it really feels like we’ve gone on an extended dry spell when it comes to exciting new content. Perhaps I’m just being over dramatic and everyone else is super hyped for the Trickster and loved the Twins, lol. Anyhow, I agree completely.
The Twins and Trickster have definitely not been well liked by the community, and who's to know what's to come for the anniversary. If it's actually to be Resident Evil, then hopefully they do it justice and not ruin it very badly.

I'm expecting to see a lot of Game map offerings with that perk, ugh that is gonna be annoying.

Yes on the game map in particular where the ceiling isn't even as good as it use to be for his bottles.
Also with the amount of god pallets on that map if they're a trio which I can instantly assume they were, having that communication on a strong map like that and still losing!? There should be no excuses made what so ever from them
-
Well I know now at least
-
I want old Freddy back damnit...
-
If you give survivors a chance to choose maps, then expect them to pick HaddonField quite a lot.
-
So you're telling me they brought three toolboxes, and stacked three Prove Thyself's? And still got whooped by Clown?

Nice use of off meta perks haha, I really liked that dead hard bait pretty early on.
That is a good map for surge too.
You keep your traps changing, not going back to the same spots too much which is good as well.
Against a really efficient group though, I think they would have wizened up to the rubble traps after the first bit, most folks are not going to fall for a pattern like that after a certain point, there would have been some disarms going off for sure I imagine, but they never really bothered with that and stepped in some of them even when you were not around. You'll probably need some more varied trap spots.
They are all Claudette's though, I assumed they were on comms and coordinating but like, they never really clued in that the rubble piles were bad haha.
You did good though dude, I like the use of off meta stuff a lot. Hope you play lots of trapper :)
Appreciate the advice

They'll say that no matter who you play. Usually the no skill argument is used when a Survivor doesn't want to blame themselves for losing.

Get ready for High MMR when all you see our Nurse and Spirit
-
Exsqueeze me!?
-
I think the only chance you got is to hope a group of survivors bring the offering that lets them all spawn together.
-
Honestly people on console have more skill compared to people on PC who have to cheat the game in order to do good. First it was the stretched resolution, and now macro mouses? People who abuse exploits are just straight up bad at the game in general
-
Twins, they're overall just bad design. I know people rate them high on their Tier Lists, but I feel like a killer that basically slugs and camps everyone as their power shouldn't be rated that high honestly.
-
I feel like the tryhard survivors can't win anything without their meta perks, at best I only use one second chance perk in my builds. And do fine as is like usual
-
No matter how hard we try to bring up very glaring issues with the game, it seems like it always gets ignored. Something definitely needs to be done against hackers, I just want an actual Anti Cheat System in DBD.

Ok first of all, your tierlist is absolute trash. It's funny to see that you try to search a discussion but everytime someone disagrees with you, you simple say "You don't know how to use his antidote properly" What is even your point making a thread when you block all the opinions and valid arguments people have? The issue is you're hella biased. The buff did nothing for him and he is still the good old weak generic M1 killer. You can try to bend the fact all you want but he is weak. Wraith is better, Blight is better, Plague is better, Demo is better and I would even say Pig is better than Clown and yes I play him pretty often. He's literally one of my most played killers besides Pyramid Head and Wraith.
You're probably the first toxic forum member I've ever seen, and you're insulting my Tier List saying it's bad because I don't want to admit that Clown's bad. When did I ever block out opinions or criticism? I read every comment, and don't mind if someone disagrees with me. They're entitled to their opinions, but you don't seeing me trashing them saying how stupid they are because I disagree with them. Which you're basically doing to me right now, seems to me you're taking this very personally. Gawrsh who the hell do you think I am, Tru3ta1ent!?
-
Notice how none of them haven't really been active on the forums for quite a while? Once again one of the biggest problems is the lack of communication, and let's not forget the feedback they ignored for Trickster. I get the feeling with the fifth year anniversary coming up, that might be the reason as to why they've been so quiet for a while. I mean I didn't even see an announcement on the DBD Twitter account that MMR got turned back on for testing, I didn't even know until I saw it from the news section on the game. The communication is just not there right now
-
Both of the things your brought up with camping/tunneling as well as holding forward neither of which take skill, just Saiyan.

You literally did the same thing. "look Otz made a video saying new clown isn't bad, so you guys just don't use him right"
Let's be real please. Clown is objectively a bad killer. He was before the "buff/rework" and he still is. The Afterpiece Antidote does literally nothing for him. He has still the same weaknesses as before. If you use Otz as your backup then watch his current stream where he tries to get a 50 win in a row with clown, he is struggling and he is not enjoying his time. Clown is the worst killer in the game for a reason and this "buff" was pointless.
The video was literally being used as examples for things you could do with the antidote, and yes I will stand by the fact that people who say Clown is still bad don't even know how to use the antidote and don't even know how to play him period. He's much better now since his chase got buffed, although would love to see some more basekit buffs. Yes he still lacks mobility, but half the damn killer roster lacks mobility. So far on my Tier List he's sitting a Low B which isn't to bad, and I don't know how you can say Clown's the worst killer when Trickster is about to be the absolute worst once he releases.
-
They need to make it to where survivors can't quick switch at the last second to their object Midwich small pp build. If killers are locked once they enter a lobby, then the same should apply for survivors.
-
Nea's, absolutely hate them. I've played against some nice ones, but there's a lot of them who love being toxic. A lot of them act like Noob3 wannabes, and some of them like to do Ayrun's tech stuff and fail miserably everytime doing it.
-
Nancy and Zarina should at least be A Tier, I'd move Kate up to S Tier.
-
An asymmetrical game becoming a competitive tournament game is god awful, especially for DBD standards. The game is based around RNG than actual skill, and anyone can fight me on that to disagree. The game not only has RNG based upon it, but also has so much unbalance added onto it that makes it even worse for a competitive scene. The game was never supposed to reach those kind of standards, but people who embrace their tryhard mentalities are pushing their best to make DBD an esport.
-
Trapper pretty much got nerfed in the mid chapter when they made changes to the escape rate
-
@Profezia said:
No, it wouldn't.
People just got used to beating bad opponents and are getting mad when they finally fighting ones who can fight back. Opinion of such people doesn't count.
At the same time, skill based matchmaking would finally uncover the ugly face of dbd "balance" by showing how it is impossible to play on any killer but holy trinity of S tier killers against actually good survivors or how it is impossible to play against nurse/spirit/etc without using holy trinity of S tier perks and playing in SWF and so on.
It would be for the good.
So stop saying it is bad, this matchmaking will do a lot of game's health (as long as devs would actually use the data gathered) in a long run.
So you think it would be fun to just go against Nurse and Spirit consistently? There's no variety of different killers to go against, and that would really boring after awhile.
-
It's quite mind boggling how this game is almost five years old, and still has no practice mode lab testing. Do you know how many people would love to learn how to play Nurse by being able to practice against bots!? Being able to test out builds, and add ons with killers to see what's good and bad. Surely enough a practice mode can't be that hard to implement into this game..
-
My experience with the new MMR was the same as last time, getting matched up against people who clearly are very inexperienced at the game. Both on survivor and killer, only had three games out of sixteen against people who were close to my experience.
