prevent survivors from quick changing at the 59th second before match starts

getting tired of survivors changing to keys and maps at the literal last second of the match.

or the very rare survivors all changing to the exact same matching character at the last second.

They should be locked out from changing their loadouts at 10-20 seconds left of the timer. So this gives you 50-40 seconds to get ready.

No my suggestion is not preventing survivors from changing their loadouts, they just can't change at the 59th second anymore.

Comments

  • If you are locked into stuff in the last 30 seconds, why even have the 30 seconds?

  • What's the point of the waiting lobby if you can't do anything in it?

Same argument can be made on the killer side BTW.

  • so you guys are in favor of switching to keys at the last second so the killer can't respond by switching to franklins?

    Weird flex but ok

  • Eh, the survivors can't see the killer at all so it's only fair that survivors can switch loadout as well. Especially considering the only reason you would want to lock their items/character is to lobby dodge, something the devs obviously don't want to encourage.

they'll just game dodge if people switched to keys at last second which is even worse than lobby dodging

  • By the way for anyone confused I never suggested survivors can't change items in the lobby.

My suggestion is they can't do it literally at the 59th second.

If 30 seconds is too much to lock you out then maybe 10-20 seconds left is when you get locked out.

But allowing survivors to change at the 59th second is just causing too many problems and causing killers to DC during loading we can't adjust our builds to react within 1 second.

  • They need to make it to where survivors can't quick switch at the last second to their object Midwich small pp build. If killers are locked once they enter a lobby, then the same should apply for survivors.

  • If you suspect they are SWF, which in lobbies there are hints. Such as their cosmetics, and names. They like to be cute and have similar or toxic names along with bright cosmetics. If you don’t want to deal with them skip the lobby or have franklins demise as a perk so that last second switch is for nothing cause they be losing those maps and keys now.
