They're not unbeatable at all, but if you get a really good cordinated team then it will be hard to beat them. Also you really gotta love those teams that go full tryhard, and just bring second chance perks stacked on their entire team.
-
If you get you can at least try him out to see how you feel about him, although it probably won't be as enjoyable compared to Huntress since it will take longer to down survivors.
-
They deserved it honestly
-
B Tier with the rework, he's the most underrated killer in the game.
-
Guessing this is probably a well known DBD streamer because a lot of them love to trash on people

My Tier List
-
Got it free on PlayStation Plus back in August 2018.
-
People underestimate how underrated Mindbreaker can be, it has its moments where it works at the perfect time.
-
Survivors are always being selfish, especially all those Nancy's.
-
I mean both sides like to abuse exploits. The Blight J Flick exploit is something that isn't even remotely fun to go against, and not gonna lie I cringe a lot when a survivor main calls something like the pointing at a killer when they vault to abuse invisibility frames a "tech".
-
Even if there was a chill mode, what's to stop the tryhards from going into chill mode?
-
It's good for the tonic, but I wouldn't use it with the antidote.

TBH, I kinda wish Blight had some mechanic that let him deal with different kinds of short or "hard to bounce off quickly to get to the other side of" loops... maybe some sort of mechanic where the direction you move and your camera's direction affects movement somehow would be nice. The "j-flick" needs to go though, this fixes the problem but in a terrible way.
EDIT: BTW, is this the Xeno you're mentioning? https://youtu.be/K17VJhwvuPI
My god that stretch res is so ugly to look at, definitely seems like tryhard to me.
-
Would be nice, but sadly BHVR doesn't celebrate Easter.
-
I have lots of bloodpoints I can earn back from the challenges, and was a 100K in dailies. So not really worried about losing my points
-
Not Otzdarva is the best streamer you can learn from, you can learn so much from him when he's playing Trapper.
-
If you've ever played any FPS games on console than no he's not really that hard on console, using a controller for FPS games has become so natural for me.
-
Survivors would use second chances galore if they added another perk slot, that would be unfun going against.
-
I consider a SWF that has really good communication along with everyone being really good at looping OP in a way, but they definitely are OP if one of them is running Object and they're all running second chance perks galore.

Lol, I was genuinely expecting a salt thread from someone that was up against a Clown player that’s actually good.
In due time I can imagine it will happen

There isn't any info from leaks that say anything about what to expect in the mid chapter, plus we're not sure how long it will be until we hear anything regarding changes to killers such as Freddy, Huntress, and Demo. Because they worked on the Clown rework sometime between September or October of last year, Blight's had to get his POV adjusted which took loads of work to do, The Twins were being worked on before reveal, and now they finished working on Trickster who hopefully gets more buffs before release on Tuesday. They said last year that Demogorgon was gonna be the next killer to receive buffs after Clown got his, it just depends on how long it will be. And I don't expect it to be the Mid Chapter, but I'm expecting it to potentially be the Mid Chapter after the Anniversary.
-
Usually when I mess around with No Mither I use it with Dead Hard, Iron Will, and Resilience.
-
Survivors get punished if they decide to ignore doing totems, don't think it should be changed because people are to lazy to do totems.
-
DBD and balance is two things that will never be able to have a healthy relationship with one another
-
The bad out ways the good by quite a lot
-
Just drop the pallets against new Bubba, and he won't have a chance. Unless your team isn't doing gens, then it won't matter. I've given a lot of Bubba's a hard time trying to get me, because I know not to be greedy against him with how many charges he has.

So what they hate? You mean camp?
Yeah pretty much

@Pulsar said:
If you use the line "you are giving yourself a competitive advantage that you would not normally have by base gameplay" then SWF shouldn't be in the game either.
I'm not arguing that SWF should be removed or anything, just that this line of thinking is flawed.
The only thing strong about SWF is the communication they have at all times, when it comes to looping you won't know what to expect from them.
-
We don't need Legion when we got the Twins
-
Since it's very rare to find a Twins player, I don't expect any changes to them with how they currently are. Both Charlotte and Victor do what survivors hate, but it does work quite efficiently. But I wanted more from these two in terms of how they can work, but sadly BHVR dropped the ball as to how to make them unique.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if they made him incredibly weak honestly, I mean just look at Mookel.
-
I mean when I play killer I go into the match expecting to lose, but do 3K and 4K a lot of the times.
-
I'm pretty much ready to take lots of L's with Trickster once he's out on release day
-
I mean ever since the buff of no longer slowing down after throwing bottles, Clown's definitely been much better to play as. At first he was good at chasing with just tonic, but since the antidote has been introduced he got massively better overall. Yes of course he still lacks the map pressure, but killers like Huntress and DeathSlinger are great at chasing but they have no map mobility plus being slower. Now if Clown did have something for map mobility, I'd say he would be a definite A Tier killer. I know things have been quite controversial when it comes to me and you wanting to prove that Clown is definitely much better, because Clown's definitely been one of the hot topics on the forums as of late.
Think where I have him ranked at the moment on my Tier List is pretty fair.

Yup.. and then they act snarky, rude and stubborn in literally every single situation. Instead of just saying sorry, they instead basically go with the ''well we didn't confirm a release date, so it's your fault for expecting it to be released today'' type approach, which is technically true, but when your release schedule has been 3 weeks consistently for quite a while, you can't expect people to not expect such a release date.
ScottJund made a good video about where he highlighted how BHVR chooses when they work, hence they probably don't communicate a lot because there's nothing to talk about. What are they going to say? That they did absolutely nothing for weeks on end but made one bug fix? lol
I'm keeping my expectations very low for the new chapter since the delayed it by a week, I'm not expecting any more changes to Trickster.

How the hell is Freddy winning?
He gets destroyed by good survivors way harder than Blight or Hag does.
Guess cause he's easier to use compared to the others I listed
-
He's a high B Tier killer, and can be super annoying if you use Discipline with range add ons.
-
Usually around rank 1 or 2 a lot of the times, since ranking up is so easy.
-
So it's apparently illegal to just go after a survivor who just got off their second hook, because you want to secure a kill.
-
You don't
-
Plus the killers are you know KILLERS, they're not the hookers.
-
This just in, winning in DBD is illegal.

Honestly because of how much of a head-lock DbD has on this genre right now I doubt anything big will happen in the near future, something would need to come and build up a following over time the same way this game did. Although I absolutely agree that this past year has been atrocious for this game.
Silent Hill was decently polished but brought the worst map in the entire game, Blight was a good addition but has been stuck with low POV for nearly a year, I don't even have to explain the Twins release that's how much of a disaster it was, and The Trickster feels like a killer who was rushed out the door for release, he has an incredibly weak power and his animations make him look like he's not even from this game (At least change his running animation please, it looks ridiculous.)
It sucks to say it but DbD doesn't need competition, it needs new developers. Something happened once the rift came out, some mind set changed, the updates have felt less and less polished, and we've been getting less and less word from the community managers or even Cote himself. Before this, even though the game wasn't in a perfect state, I at least had some confidence in the people developing the game, but that's been gone for a while now. I really hope something changes soon, because they can't just release one big hit for the anniversary and then go back to this, it's depressing.
Honestly I think hiring certain people a few years ago is what started sending the game to a downward spiral, and the coding continues to get even worse with every update. So after the anniversary, you can definitely expect many more screw ups. Because BHVR has a tendency to take two steps forward in doing good things, but then taking multiple steps backwards when doing something that a lot of people can agree on that they hate.

DBD has become iconic and has a ton of content that new 4v1 aspect games just can't replicate, we have iconic characters, original ones, and a very diverse set of gameplay because each killer has a different power, a ton of unique maps, and a large set of perks to pick from. The only thing that will make players not want to play is the grind which many will still do.
Take a look at monstrum 2 or home sweet home (or whatever that game is called) they are severely lacking in content compared to dbd and if people can play a better game with very similar rules they often will and people from dbd will quickly get bored of those games because we are used to them and again a lack of content affects how long players stay.
Because of this dbd truly does have a hold on this market, it just won't lose to any competition as it is literally years ahead of them, unless that competition is a perfect game they simply will die out or get outshined by dbd as it gets more and more content.
edit: basically as long as this game is supported/devs don't stop working on it then it will never die or lose to competition.
We don't really have a general ideal as to how long DBD will last, hell who knows maybe it will go another five years. But the game gets very stale a few weeks after new chapters come out, and still can be so much better than what it is right now.

I hoped Home Sweet Home: Survive would have been a competition but this game literally failed at day 1. Broken hitboxes, no real server support (the only servers are Thai servers, so people from EU/NA play on a 200/250+ ping), heavily unbalanced gameplay etc.
DBD hat competition in the past but they all failed and DBD (even with all its flaws) was just the better game.
And still is the better game

Resident evil resistance had the most potential to actually challenge DBD out of the many asymmetrical team games I've played. It needed to be separated from remake 3, needed more advertising, needed more communication in general on the game, and needed more updates on a regular basis. There is a rumor that the team working on reverse will go back to resistance if reverse isn't that popular. Resistance still has a retty substantial playstation player base. I really love DBD but I haven't had as much fun as I did with resistance in many many years. Resistance had some issues, but overall gameplaywise even the most "toxic" builds were far less frustrating than what you find in dbd
Things resistance did better with
-more variety in each killers playstyle
-much more team oriented
-more variability in general to achieve victory
-more item options for survivors
-map layouts were more interesting
-encouraged more variability in teams rather than repeated builds like dbd does
-killers had much more personality
I can go on and on. If the game got the proper support it needed it would be serious competition. Devs didn't put enough faith in the game despite it having a lot of players early on
Honestly I think if Resistance was released as its own game, it maybe could have done more better. A game that wasn't even out for a year, already was being put in the shed since it just didn't feel like it had enough love to it. Who knows if Reverse will actually manage to last a year compared to Resistance
