What exactly do you mean "Entity has control of their age"? I'm not understanding that.
So the Entity is an all powerful being right? From lore we understand that time isn't consistent in the Entity's Realm, so to me it would makes sense that that means the Entity is controlling the time in it's realm. It can make time go forward or backward, but time doesn't seem really effected to the people within the realm or at least they just don't realize it's happening. I was thinking how we age technically every second even if it doesn't feel like it. So what if like the overall time of the realm, the entity can control the aging process of individuals in the realm. So in the case of let's say Quentin Smith, he might have been taken when he was 17 but the Entity used it's power and by Quentin's first trial he was 21. As if the Entity were to physically age him those 4 years.

"The Devs have said that all characters within the game are 21 years or older"
they said it once in a livestream and it's completely wrong
Quentien, Steve, Nancy and Cheryl are 17 years old.
Frank is 19 years old with other Legion members being around the same age.
and Victor, despite being Charlotte's twin, died when he was a child, even if he was relived, he was dead during the time when Charlotte grow up, so he would mentally be the age of a child.
I can't say for Cheryl because I know nothing of Silent Hill, but Steve and Nancy are most definitely not 17 anymore. It mentions in Nancy's lore that she is working now so she's not 17. If Nancy is not 17 than neither is Steve because they're the same age. Quentin, I've read his lore again, and I guess it's possible, but that doesn't prove that my theory that the entity has control over the age of a person when inside the realm is false. In a way, that almost proves it more.

Actually, according to the lore for the individual characters, it is very much possible that Quentin, Steve, and Nancy are not 17 anymore. It mentions in Quentin's lore already happened and time has passed. Also, I'm pretty sure in Nancy's lore she's already working so she's definitely no longer 17 and if she's no longer 17 than neither is Steve.

So both moris and keys are being reworked also moris can be a selling point to a lot of people. They can't simply just remove it. Also as someone who is a killer main and once had 6 games in a row where someone found a key and left with their 1-2 friends while I looked for them for 10 minutes, there is no reason to complain about moris and not complain about keys.
-
That's really cool, I didn't even know that was a thing. Oni has some pretty interesting lore so to see it actually be related to something in real life religion is cool.
-
It's off while playing killer and on sometimes while playing survivor.

Nurse is a special case because her skill cap is so high. The very best Nurse players perform on par with the very best players of other top-tier Killers.
I'm a pig main and must ask, I believe the Pig is a fairly balanced killer but I do believe there are things about her that need to be tweaked. Do you think it's in the realm of possibility that within the next year we might see at the very minimum tweaks to the Pig's power or add-ons?
-
I'm a pig main (as you can probably tell by my name) and if survivors boop my snoot they get some bloodpoint farming. If no one boops the snoot it was nice knowin them time to die.
-
I'm at Devotion 6 Level 40 with ~1700 hours

They probably are other characters that are trapped in the entity's realm. I like to think of them as characters that maybe they like the idea of but couldn't figure out what perks they'd have or what powers they'd have (in terms of killer). I know that's probably not accurate, it's just what I personally like to think.
-
Since I'm a killer main if I ever play survivor it's with a SWF but if I have archive challenges or daily rituals to do I'll do them solo.
-
I think the difference is those cosmetics the pieces are moving, what needed to happen with Never Stop Slashing is the mask actually needed to change facial expressions when certain actions were done. It's more complex than move a tendril on the back of blight or make the heart beat on one of Wraith's weapons.

Being a switch player I don't have much experience against Freddy because crossplay has only been active for a few months and I rarely see him. Michael and Bubba are EXTREMELY annoying though and I hate them with every bone in my body. It's to the point where I saw a Bubba while playing earlier and I was tempted to disconnect even with the penalty in place. Only reason I didn't is because my friends would have killed me if I did.
-
Both are op but I just say keys more because
A. I'm a biased killer main
B. Keys don't have to be brought in in order for them to be in play, moris of all kinds you have to bring in
C. If the killer closes the hatch you can still jump in it
Both need a rework tho and soon. I don't even like moris and I'm a killer main.
-
Keys need to be reworked to work better with the hatch mechanic, but overall it's completely fair and fine.
-
Like everyone else I agree that you need to be playing killer more. I am a killer main and play a lot of survivor too. By playing both sides I'm able to keep myself playing because it adds something to the game.
-
I want to see Huntress and Wraith's but I want to see Clowns more. It's just because Clown I'm not entirely sure how it would sound. All I can think is something circus-like.
-
If you feel strongly about double bp then play the event. Otherwise I suggest taking a break and come back a bit later. That's what I did last week cuz the game just didn't feel fun anymore.
-
For survivor I love Built to Last and for killer I love Dragon's Grip. It's just because I find them fun.

Yhea something like this, minus distressing.
Although when and why did Thana get nerfed? :(
That's just what killers are calling it because healing is no longer affected (effected? idk those confuse me). I don't think it was nerfed.
-
I run Thanatophobia, Distressing, A Nurse's Calling, and Infectious Fright.
Reasons:
- Thanatophobia: Even though it was nerfed, it's still very effective on Legion. Survivors will try to take advantage of no healing penalty and heal to get rid of the slow down which in turn still slows the game down a lot.
- Distressing: I've learned over time that the Killer's Instinct is based off of your terror radius, so just like with Doctor, Legion benefits from having Distressing. It also helps with Infectious Fright.
- A Nurse's Calling: Helps with Thanatophobia and to just track down healing survivors in general.
- Infectious Fright: Whenever I play Legion there seems to be a lot of altruistic people and flashlights. I use Infectious to figure out who's around especially if someone is under a pallet. Distressing also helps increase the range of Infectious Fright so that helps.
You can imagine I'm a very unloved Legion lol
-
PC has an advantage with mouse and keyboard, but as far as actual skill goes I don't think one is better than the other. With crossplay I play with my Steam friend and I play on Nintendo Switch (which is notorious for being the worst of the consoles) and I've beaten some pretty high ranked pc players with ease while some console players absolutely destroying us. Everyone plays differently and at different levels so it's hard to say which is actually more "skillful."
-
I've never seen more than 2 pustula petals offered, but that could just be me. I think for the most part people have agreed this event isn't all that amazing so they aren't wasting their time with it and offering petals. The chances of everyone offering petals are extremely low.
-
I'm a killer main and I don't think the perks can't be run, I think the toxic bs that survivors have when running them needs to go. The perks themselves are whatever.
-
@keith_shinji said:
It kind of doesn't make sense that killer can kick the event gen or camp them but survivors cannot do vice versa.
Yeah but also think about when the event started back when hooks took a while to come back. It was unfair at the time, I do think they should be able to be sabo'd now tho. It doesn't make sense now, but back then it did.

@Squirrel_Thicc said:
I had a pig give me hatch earlier and I messaged her to say thanks and she said she let me go cause I booped the snoot.
So what's the lesson here? Pig players are the best.
I am a Pig main and generally close the hatch but if I see the last survivor within an eye distance running towards the now closed hatch I give them a chance to boop the snoot. If they boop it they can leave, if they don't boop it they can die. Snoot boops are appreciated. I also prefer giving survivors the door over the hatch in those situation cuz you get objective for opening the gate, survival for me closing the hatch (I think the score event is called "pressure" or something) and then you get points for escaping and I get deviousness for closing the hatch. So it's a win win if you don't upset me during matches and you boop the snoot.

Absolutely!! And it's a double whammy-- Ghostface and Felix?? Teabagging? Perfection lol! And I'm sorry that your interaction with him was the only good game, I hope when you come back you have a better time!
Yeah I've only been getting on to make sure I don't miss out on the free bp and iri shards along with watching streamers trying to get codes, but not matches I can't stand it atm lol. Hopefully things are better when I start playing again.

Switch has a leg-up on other console. Just remember to undock it. It you type it with the touch screen you can input it faster than using the controller hooked-up to TV.
But for me a friend sent me a code and I was able to use it before it was used up. I hadn't been quick enough by watching stteamers...
Yeah I've been trying that. My problem is I don't see videos before codes are definitely used up so my only real shot is streamers lol.

Thank you for posting something wholesome and fun. I've been seeing so many negative and toxic posts lately that I stopped playing for a few days, but not because of the event itself or the devs. It was mostly because of the awfulness of the community and I'm glad to see someone post something good. One of the last survivor matches I played (a few days ago) was against a Ghost Face while I was playing Felix and we just tbagged for about five minutes! It was the only good match of the day.

I felt they were rigged to, cause of the wording 'invalid' It should say the code hit its limit or something. But I do know now that they work on console cause I was able to get one on Switch. 🍦
Good for you, I've been trying to get it on my switch version but it's to the point where I've almost given up lol

I got 38 playing Doc after a match where I also got 8000 bloodpoints

I don't consider any of the licensed characters as canon unless they start making tomes about them.
Just asking, but does that mean you consider all characters without a tome not canon?

Hacking, talking poorly about people in the endgame chat on pc, teabagging every time the killer makes a mistake or you stun them. To me anything else is either dumb gameplay or jokingly called toxic. Like tunnel down moris, no skill there but I jokingly call them toxic. Combining the above is worse. If you're hacking, teabagging every time the killer makes a mistake or you show your hacking, and then talk poorly in the endgame chat that's really toxic but that only applies to survivors.
-
I think the best ones are probably Doctor, Legion, Huntress, and Hags for killer. Jake, Feng, and Claudette for survivor. That's my opinion. It's up to you which cosmetic you want to get.
If you were talking about Blight the killer (cuz the post to me is unclear on which you meant) get the sophisticated one. I love that one.

Thank you so much! There's actually a story behind where that came from. It's also my in-game name.

Maybe I just never used Discordance enough, but I don't understand how this is a nerf and not a buff. Especially since before T1 was better than T3 but now T3 is better than T1. Can someone explain this to me?

This report is useless, if u check the patch notes they say is a known issue.
Not everyone reads the patch notes/goes through all the bug fixes so maybe they just didn't see it. I personally don't think it's that big of an issue since it is only the first 3 seconds of the game, but would still be nice to be patched.

This is incorrect.
@Topic: Yeah, it was like that before. I have read on the Forums that it was bugged and got fixed at some point, but apparently it made it back into the game that you can gain Stacks for Flashlight- and Pallet-Saves. So they basically turned a Bug into a Feature.
I was not aware that was a bug, thank you for correcting me.

Blight took it all when he joined the Killer roster.
But because he was the one making the vials (I would assume he's the only one able to do that) that does actually make sense? I could be completely wrong, I found that hilarious when I initially read it.
-
Stacks have only been given by protection hits and taking survivors off of hooks. There's a chance that maybe you've taken a protection hit then a survivor wiggles out of the killers grasp and you thought that the grasp rescue was what gave you the stack.

I always hear about people having bad framerate on console, but I never have much issue and maybe it's because I use a ps4 Pro.
However, My game was running like a switch as survivor on the new Suffocation pit. I'm gonna go test killer on the new maps now, I hope its not as unplayable.
As a switch player I can say... wow rude.
Switch is probably the worst of the platforms besides stadia, but still I've never had any problems playing on switch and my internet is awful.

I would think 11 am EST so whatever time that is for you is most likely correct.

I love all of them but something about Legion's that I can't place I just love so much more than the rest.

No clue

I've played a lot of killers today and have had a similar thing happen with every single one.

I say Bubba or Hag. Bubba because he's boring on both sides and Hag because... well, Hag.

Well number one, you were the one insulting the posters here who are frowning upon Behavior's predatory business practices. We're allowed to do so whether you like it or not. If we can't criticize things we enjoy then how can it improve? That's why the forums are here.
Also "DON'T PLAY IF YOU DUN LIKE IT GUYZ!" or "YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT!" are not only weak retorts but also naïve. Literally no corporation put crappy microtransactions in their games then expect you not to purchase them. It's the reason DBD is designed the way it is so people would get tired of the grind then throw away their cash. I'm willing to wager that you have to purchase certain survivors and killers to complete certain Rifts. The skins are also a popular manipulation tactic which Fortnite made famous, some kid is going to see their friends with the cool skins then get made fun of for not having them. It's the haves and have nots. It's by design.
Also...I work with victims of addiction? Do you know how many video game addicts I encounter in my line of work? These people go to video games to recover from certain addictions or traumas only to be exploited by a hobby they love. These are the people these companies target. If my arms weren't chained to an NDA, I'd happily show you the underbelly of how things work in that regard.
While we have many disagreements on these forums that seem like endless bickering, this is a pressing issue that we should all be pushing to see some changes towards, not just toward Behavior but the industry itself. Suggesting that people ignore an issue like this or not discuss it is intellectually lazy.
I can almost guarantee the devs don't care one way or another if one person or a few don't get the rift premium because a lot of people still will. That's why I said that. It's great that you work with addicts truly. Good for you. I play on Nintendo Switch mostly so the only dlc I don't have is A Nightmare On Elm Street, but I have that on my steam account. When I opened the game for the first time there were already a lot of pre-downloaded dlc's (I believe it was 7 dlcs) so I bought the rest shortly after. No I don't know how many video game addicts you encounter in your line of work because I'm not in your line of work. My original comment to this discussions it was not my intention to come off as rude. I was just saying that because as a Nintendo Switch player I did not play the 2018 event and last year we got the midchapter patch so late we didn't even get the 2019 event. This will be my first time being able to play any event so to see so many people talking about how awful it's going to be and how "we need to fix things" upsets me because I'm happy to finally be able to get to play a Halloween event. Also, if you do buy it then you shouldn't be complaining because then you just sound stupid. You probably buy rift premium every time and get up to Tier 70. I do agree that the rift is flawed and could be worked on, but go put something in feedback. Seriously, I'm sure the devs will listen and take it at least into consideration whatever you have to say. I can guarantee the devs aren't clicking on posts that look like they're just going to be a bunch of people bitching about everything that they release. Discuss, come up with a solution, and give feedback to the devs.
I will add that I'm not saying your points aren't there because they are. I think my thing is how things are being presented from where I'm standing sounds rude and like people think they're the only ones who know how to fix the game. I do think if people cut the toxic bullshit and had a discussion about what to fix and how to fix it instead of nonstop complaining, then go to suggestions and suggest something, maybe things will change faster. Do whatever the hell you want with the archives I really don't care.

Ok then. Thank you for not throwing insults and explaining that to me ❤
I've had enough fights on these forums to realize how pointless they are and to know that it's just better to be nice about things. Of course.
