Actually the math is additive, not multiplicitive. It works like this. 45s/(100% or 1.0) and if you get +200% bonus from Unbreakable and Exponential that becomes 45s/(300% or 3.0) or 15s.
If you honestly expect people to run UB/B:E/NM and say Soul Guard or Power Struggle as their 4th perk, then I got this sick trick to counter that. It's called the spacebar. You don't even need a perk like Shattered Hope to counter it. It comes basekit with every killer.
and their friends with flashlight right next to them because you can't keep them slugged to go to chase them:

Its +1 perk slot to the survivor and an ability that is so strong that normally it can only be used once per game.
BT was the only meta perk to get buffed; and not only did they make it base kit they buffed it a second time which is also insane.
unless i understood it wrong, you have unlimited uses of unbreakable now with those changes, not only once. Ofher wise just slug them twice 🤷🏼♀️
-
Yeah, most of the hackers i see use that kind of soft hacks, and the game does nothing about it as far as I know
-
the sarcasm is strong in this one
-
I'll list all...
Trapper - Not too often, but regular
Wraith - Not too often, but regular
Hillbilly - Rarely, but coincidentially it's always the times I try to complete a challenge when I need the killer to chase me for X seconds
Nurse - Very Rarely
Shape - Rarely, but not too rarely
Hag - I've played 2 times against her
Doctor - Very frequently
Huntress - Regularly
Cannibal - 2 times. One of which the killer was afk until eht exit doors were powered
Nigthmare - Very Rarely
Pig - Very Rarely
Clown - Never played agaisnt it
Spirit - 2 or 3 times
Legion - Rarely, but not too rarely
Plague - Once
Ghost Face - Frequently
Demogorgon - 3 times i think
Oni - 3 times at most
Deathslinger - Twice
Executioner - Very Rarely
Blight - Once, and only saw the killer form afar.
Twins - Rarely, but not too rarely, especially lately
Trickster - Used to be frequent, but now i rarely see him
Nemesis - 2-3 times
Cenobite - Once
Artist - Once
Onryo - Twice
Dredge - same as trickster
Mastermind - Too frequent considering he's pretty new

I think Walter Sullivan would be cool too! since he's already a killer, but I don't know what his powers could be, but Behavior could think of something like they did with PH.
Unfortunately I don't think they are as popular as RE characters for ppl other than SH fans :(
And I'd love a killer or map that swaps between the normal world and the "other", something like Freddy with Dreamworld 🙂
the change to the otherworld would be so cool, I'd play that only to witness it.
As for Sullivan, I haven't played the room yet, so idk how it is :(
I was thinking *maybe* the butcher or bogeyman could fit DbD, but they are pretty unknown
-
If all alive survivors are downed, and only while they are all down, after maybe 30 seconds the ability for them to recover should be available. That way it's not that busted. As it is, UB as infinite base kit is just absurd
-
Yeah, with the announced changes my first thought was "they killer my Plague" (she's my slug killer) and my second was "why would I, as a survivor, go and try to heal a downed survivor if they can get up by themselves anyway?"

I would love to see DBD and Dead Space linked together.
Imagine this: the killer is just a necromorph. BUT, if they mori a survivor (ability to mori them in their base kit/perks), the mori'd survivor becomes another necromorph 👀
-
Vommy Mommy 🥺🤮❤️ should have a different terror radius, much shorter. I would even go a mile further and say that the corrupted pools should have a really short terror radius too.

It takes me like 10-20 minutes to click and hold each option to get from lvl 1 to lvl 50 in a blood web, including the trick to make the entitiy take the most of the web as possible... It's way too much. Levels 1 to 10 only have 1 possible option. We should be able to just hold the middle ans watch it gets filled compeltely...

Other - Another Silent Hill Chapter with Walter Sullivan as the killer. Or maybe Valtiel or God... I don't know who would be best suited.
Valtiel is not a killer tho... He's the helper of god and the symbol of rebirth...
Another Silent Hill would be nice, and tbh I would like to have Alessa as the killer. Her power would be as in the first movie with the barbwire + Being able to move to the Otherworld. Even if not Alessa, the possibilities with Silent Hill are endless, yet it needs to be handled with care since Silent Hill is paradise and everything about it should be perfect.

I'm still due to make a HUGE post about this, but I have a solution: Killers start with all hex perks off. They have to find a totem and hex it (taking a few seconds the first time, and instantly rekindling them) and then it works normally. If cleansed, the killer could rekindle the totem (cleansing would remove the hex, but not destroy the totem. Only a cleansed totem could be destroyed adding time to the action). If the totem is destroyed, the killer could take some seconds (lets say 5) to rebuild the totem, and then it gets rekindled.
As it is right now, playing hex perks is just hindering yourself and playing with basically a perk less for each hex perk you play. The survivors have it WAY too easy to just turn them off, and considerign how unbalanced boons are (i havent lost a single game as a survivor where there is a boon totem present), they shouldn't be able to light it up over and over again unless the killer could do the same with their hexes.
-
I NEED IT
it takes an eternity to go from lvl 1 to lvl 50. That's unnecessary time easted which i could had spent playing...

The reason for me saying yes are boons, especially Circle Of Healing, the strongest one in my oppinion. If survivors can willingly place their boons whenever they want as long as they have totems, hexes also deserve that chance as well. So I think that boons should be reworked or hexes buffed.
exactly my thoughts
-
Ever since a few weeks prior the anniversary, the number of hackers have increased drastically. Everything from subtle hackers (survivors who heal/repair/cleanse way faster, run faster, etc), to shameless hackers (tap to instantly repair a gen, or disconnecting the killer when the hacker is about to die, for example) to obvious hackers (pop all gens at once, open the doors immediately, and escape instantly all within 3 seconds of the game)...
I play only killer most of the time, so that's why I mostly see only survivors hacking. Even tho I've also played against killer hackers.
All I can say is that easy anticheat is a joke
-
I still use it. I got it for the aura reading ability in the first place

the short answer for you: no. remember that they gave free on epic games store their game without thinking at the concequences of this action...
yeah, I have it because it was free there
Even then, the number of hackers have increased so ridiculously since like a week or 2 before the anniversary...

By design, they are high risk, high reward. The risk must be high. If someone says, "Well sometimes they spawn in an obvious spot," yes, that's true. But that's part of the risk. Sometimes they also spawn in areas so well hidden that they will not be found at all. Could individual hexes be reworked? Sure. Maybe some deserve an adjustment, but the high-risk factor mechanic is an indelible part of their design. And sometimes, they're obvious, but they're in the center of the map so it's much easier for a Killer to defend. That happened to me yesterday on Garden of Joy. Blight had a Hex along the road and he was able to defend it until practically end game and have most of us on death hook.
yeah, but the gameplay with hex perks shouldn't become "defend the hex totems or defend the generators, but you can only choose one". Mea while, the survivors can turn their boon hex on over and over again...
-
My main issue with hexes is that it's WAY TOO EASY for survivors to turn them off. They are way too easy to find, it takes no time at all to cleanse, and even the notification dont help...
I mean, look at this. How is that supposed to represent a challenge for a survicor to find?
As a survivor I have started the game so many times next to a totem that it's absurd, and totem locations like 80% of the time are not hidden at all.... I suppose that's why I rarely ever play against a killer that uses them. They're way too weak and easy to destroy for what they do.
-
@dugman said:
I think you have to look at the Hexes individually. I think Devour Hope for instance is fine as is, it doesn’t need a buff. On the other hand I think Huntress’ Lullaby is quite weak and could use a buff.
I dont mean their efffects. I mean the totems and their mechanic in general.
I use the Hag as my main hex killer, and 9/10 games it's basically playing her with no perks because they get turned off way too easily...
Even NOED has a purple aura when active, (something i found out yesterday playing as survivor), making it EXTREMELY easy to just turn those things off...

I think it's funny how Huntress throws a tantrum when she gets stunned. And it's scarier than anything else in the game. XD

teabagging is my only way as a survivor to communicate somehow with the other survivors, but as the killer i just find it pathetic when the survivors are just teabagging me when they are 1 step away from exiting the game. An easy eay to fix it si to disable the crouching at the exit gates.
The flashlight clicking is absolutely an exploit. If you click it you dont spend it and you can use it forever. I've been in several games where the survivor using the flashlight has an autoclicker for it and they have an unlimited flashlight the entire game. The clicking sound even debotes the autoclicker.... An animation to "raise the hand" on click and one to lower the hand on release with at least 1s delay can easily fix that too
-
happened to me and the killer in the same game, last week
-
it seems that you never were a good survivor and only relied on Dead hard to survive...

Slenderman is licensed cause it wasn't created by dbd
Forgot who made the original game but they need to contact them to get him in the game so that means he's licensed
Tbf necromorph would be cool but I feel he might not be as hype as other licensed killers
slenderman is basically an open source from creepypasta. If anything they'd have to ask Marble Hornets...
-
I like killing people
-
As a survivor i like the game a lot more now. It's more challenging
-
I thought she was already that lol
-
I dont think slenderman is licensed.
Anyway I'd love slenderman, xenomorphs, Jason, and if possible a Necromorph

Then think how frustrating would be for a killer to see 3 (or 4 in the worst cases) gens popping almost simultaneously after the first 80 seconds of the match. Before this update, a match could be won or lost in the first few minutes. Now, you are encouraged to be with someone or do something else. 10 secs are not a huge difference, of course. Old DBD was survivor-sided most times, and now the game is progressing towards balance, and the vast majority of the community know this. If you find surv games are boring, then change your playstyle so it is more entertaining for you, which is what I have done. I now look for chests and use perks that encourage tóteme cleansing to benefit from those side objectives that are in the match. I suggest you do the same and use Overzealous, so gens are quicker when you cleanse.
this still happens to me 3/4 games I play... I dont see why survivors complain.
When I play survivor now, it's way more entertaining and challenging, so it's a welcomed change for me

If you had a full-stack thrill of the hunt then it should’ve taken them 56 seconds to bless your hex totem, 28 if they had just cleansed it. So if they did it in 4 then yeah they were cheating.
Even without thrill it would’ve been 28 to bless your hex or 14 to cleanse, so 4 seconds is way too quick to be legit anyways.
yeah
as i've never used a book perk idk how it works, so I thought it took only a couple of seconds...
That game was also weird because at the end of the game I had still 1 dull totem in the map and thrill of the hunt active (thrill had 2 tokens, the other 2 hex totems were destroyed/blessed) and NOED never got activated.
Even then, in other games with the same perks the survivors were taking way less than 56 seconds to cleanse/bless them.
I'm not sure if hex totems are bugged or what too or if certain maps have less totems... In maybe 2/5 games I play with the hag (which is the killer with the hex totems I use), I start the game with only 2 or 3 totems in the map...
Over all, I really think Hex perks and Boon perks need a rework.
-
Hex totems are amazing, but they are extremely vulnerable and need a reworkd so badly that i can't even run them... the most I do is my 4-hex hag, that's all. i don't even bother to have them in the rest
-
as a solo player now I have finally some slight fun playing as survivor, so definitely not
-
that means I played against *another* hacker yesterday because it took them the time it took me to go around a rock for them to cleans and bless my hex totem, which was like 4 seconds at most, and I had my Hex: thrill of the hunt with 5 tokens...
-
so, you're telling me that cleansing a totem, and then using the boon thing takes less time? clearly that's not the case
-
not really, i'm still getting in games where at the 3 minutes mark 3 or 4 gens are already completed which is the oppoaite of fun
-
#5 should be definitely implemented. The shards grind is something not discussed enough and it's for me the worst part of the game.
As for easy fix on the BP grinding problem, all survivor items and offerings should be shared among all survivors, and all killer offering should be shared among all killers. Also, offerings and items and addons should be able to be sold back for BP
-
yeah, it needs to be harder. 2~3 DCs per game is just absurd.
It needs to check when it was intentional tho, as if the power goes down, you shouldn't be penalized for that...
-
@Annso_x said:
I'm too lazy to do the math, but it's not going to lose 2.5% compared to now because the base speed of generators will be increased to 90 seconds, so it may actually last longer?
technically yes, but idk, it'd be nice if someone from BHVR addressed it to know if it was considered
-
@Marcavecunc said:
Do survivors really ignore the generator and not go tap it when you use that perk against them?
But I do agree that the cooldown to it is too long for what it does, especially considering the yellow aura that tells everyone you have it.
When the generator is over 50% they do, but when I damage a generator with about 10% or less they don't bother
But yeahz that's a perl that can use a buff

Hard disagree. There should never be a reward for doing nothing. If you don't wanna or simply can't invest time in learning, then I'm not sorry to say this but that's tough luck. There are some things that you should never get for free, specifically nonessentials. This is a nonessential, therefore it should not be free.
+1

Well i won't disagree, they're pretty visible and have plenty of audio cues, so yeah they could go without the stain. And most loops allow for visibility through holes so there's already sufficient means of counterplay. What's the point of being a stealth killer around killer shack? It has so manny holes from which to see killers that stealth is barely any help.
THe only reason for TR and stain is so that less attentive players don't get caught of guard. It's a safety mechanism basicly.
TR and RS would be understandable if the game wss all in 1st POV, not just the killer.
But as it is, itcs completely unnecessary. If I as a survivor get hit, it's because I didn't see the killer and wasnt aware of my surroundings, especially when survivors can see everything aroudn them all the time...

I as a survivor would actually love to not have TR or RS on the killer because I already can see literally everything around me. If a killer gets to hit me, it's because I wasn:t paying attention.
