killers in general shouldn't have the red stain at all

Game stops being scary after 2 hours. Why should there be fear?
the same lame excuse used every time.... smh
-
yeah, all offering should be global.
-
I want slendy so badly
-
I see it so often that I already know how to counter it so it doesn't matter...
I see an average of 3 DH per match so... yeah
-
I play her with no addons, and she's broken. It's really challenging to play her good, but it's definitely broken. The idea that she could gain her power throigh the match is pretry cool tbh
-
killer for sure. Playing survivor ir boring as #########, more often than not also super easy
-
Torn between this option and rhe other acrion required, but I just don't want my perks to be turned off... Unless hooking a survivor turned one of their perks at random off, no perk should be turned off at all...
-
as if survivors didn't have the game completely unbalanced on ther favor already... smh

well, the "calling"/"come here" gesture can be a taunt

there was a game where it censored "you" and every single word after "you" in the entire chat... it's ridiculous
like "I wanted to let you live, but you forced me to play hard" became "I wanted to let ### ####, ### ### ###### ## ## #### ####"
and even if I typed "you" by itself it was still censored for no reason

TBF the first movie was okay-ish, it was the second that completely bombed it.
the second one is so bad... the first one isnt the best, but it's at least acceptable.
-
All of them. Decisive Strike is the most annoying to me, but The book healing thing and DH are also annoying.
Also, whichever perk is that gets them 100% healed after they get unhooked and are running away (they don't need to stop to get healed). That one is ridiculous.
Or the one that gives them an extra health is so absurd I don't get how it even exists (but not the one that makes their life yellow, one that you hit them and they receive no damage at all)...
And idk if it's an actual perk or I've been playing against several hackers lately or it's a perk of the new survivor (because i've only been seen it recently, especially since last week) , but the "perk" that let the survivor unhook themselves in the second hook state feels like cheating and shouldn't exist...

If you're going to play SH 2-3 please & I mean please do not play the HD collection.
I only got the HD collection, and I don't think they are that bad tbh...
my least favorite SH game is downpour tho...

Silent Hill is paradise

I played today a game where in less than 2 minutes 4 gens were completed at almost the same time... you tell me...
-
i think he's fine. If tou ask me to change anything would be to add more zombies

The problem with anything harsher from BHVR is that sometimes people disconnect without they fault/intention. I once was playing normally (as killer) and the power went off. It went back on like a minute later, but it was too late, no possible to get back into the game, and had to wait 5 minutes to get into another one.
But at the same time, the game should have a record. If the player disconnects mid game frequently, their penalty shouls be higher than just waiting...
Also, players on the team who remain after the DCs should be awarded more bloodpoints. I was just playing my 3rd game as the hag today (right before making this post) and managed to get 2 downs relatively quickly. I hooked one, moved to hook the second one. When I hooked the second one, the first one was finishing to kill themselves in the hook, so they died. The second one disconnected the moment I hooked them, and like five seconds later another player disconnected. Less than 3 seconds later the last survivor was already escaping through the hatch (as usual, the hatch aplears literallt next to the last survivor) and I ended the match with like 6K points... The survivor who escaped had almost 15K points in that time (no idea why they got so many). And the rest obviously 0, but I think all their possible points should have been awarded to the survivor who stayed and me. That'd be at least a compensation.

I would make it so that the regression only stops once they make a good skill check.
yeah, that would work great tbh
-
I've seen (and I've done when I'm a survivor) that when you're in a chase, you can literally stop, just tap the gen, and continue running with no downside, and the gen is not "fixed" and will stop regressing.
The fact that it can be done while in a chase in such a short time feels definitely like a bug.
-
I'll just let it like that, I don't think there's gonna be a big difference, and it's basically BHVR's fault for not being specific
-
I put it without bonuses, all 8 surveys ._.
-
up to this date, every single time it happens, I lose completely the offering 100% of the times. If I go without offering, I lose an addon or both 100% of the time.
Good thing about last time it happened (yesterday, even tho i was trapped for like 7 minutes in the loading screen for the match) was that I had no addons or offerings equipped so I only lost my time :P

the game is completely tilted towards the survivor side.
As I read somewhere, the killers can only win if the survivors make a mistake.

They should have their teachable perks be slightly stronger on them, tier 4, if you will
Killers should get the same treatment

The issue is if survivors had unique abilities no doubt we'll have "meta survivors". No thanks. I'm all for making them more unique in non-gameplay changing way though.
but you already have meta perks that it's the same thing...

@TheArbiter said:
I could MAYBE see this being a valid complaint, except there are literally MULTIPLE PERKS, to counter this , not to mention this causes more survivors to get hit and injured.
Something else I also just thought of is if you are getting three man bodyblocks, thats three survivors not spread out on gens, so thats a VERY good thing as a killer.
the problem with that argument is that not all persk are availbale for everyone...

This is the issue. Half the time they will stack 3 healthy survivors deep in front of one hook to stop you from hooking while throwing flashbangs, sabotaging and teabagging at once. It is utterly infuriating.
I can confirm this was my experience for the first like 2 weeks of the game. I still firmly believe survivors should be scared of the killerz and not just be trolling

@GoodBoyKaru said:
- Bodyblocking, as in tanking a hit for someone, is a perfectly valid game strategy. Perks like Forced Penance and Mad Grit exist to counter this, as well as killer powers including Huntress, Bubba, Pyramid Head, Nurse, Blight, Spirit, etc.
- Bodyblocking, as in preventing another player from moving for a prolonged period of time and thus preventing them from playing the game, is classed as a hostage situation if it began before the Endgame Collapse was triggered, and as such is a permanently bannable offence.
is it banneable? I have played games where another survivor stands in my way (when i'm a survivor) and just remains there and I can't push them or move through them or anything and i'm just there in a corner or a closed room or something trapped for some time until they decide to move...

Why even load into the game?
Idk, I could play 100 games and see 0 hackers, maybe that's why..
I see one or two per week, survivors hacking, but not as obvious as this one. Stuff like teleporting, or just modded stats like running speed, or repair/healing speeds.
-
let's face it, if it had, DH would be perma banned...

How does that work though? The AFK killers I have encountered get next to no BP at the end of the match. Unless people are confusing AFK with farming?
tbh idk, when the video started with "all you need is to be afk" i turned it off...
fun fact: I was just looking to link an example and I can't find any of those videos. Now all I see are builds to get 100K BP per match (which tbh sounds like bs to me hahaha)

Unless you're the one that crashed, the add-on/offering should be refunded to your inventory.
it's not happening :(
-
@AetherBytes said:
They are refunded, just not reequipped.
Refunded as in blood points returned? Because I can guarantee my offerings are wasted, and I'm 90% sure my addons are lost as well.
Last game that happened I had 5 ebony mori offerings, equiped one, got into a match that never happened, returned to play, and had only 4 available.
-
sadly, when I started the game all "guides" on how to get BP easy was to go as killer, and be afk the whole game... Imagine when your game has as best strategy to be afk... that sucks

This whole thread is the same old "Hello fellow Survivor mains, Im a Survivor main myself and I think I speak for everyone out there, we would totally love this unbiased change™ absolutely nobody asked and Im sure it will improve the gameplay experience of Survivors mains, such as myself" then it mutated into the "This makes 0 real world logic, unlike a woman who can teleport around and a guy with third degree burns and slashes 2 cm deep into his flesh, which is totally normal and realistic and I see at least 3 of each every day I go to work, AND ITS A 10 MINUTE WALK!!".
Honestly this kind of threads should just get deleted on the spot, they have no purpose except baiting/trolling.
oh, the autority appeared :)
I'm also not a survivor main. I hate playing as survivor, it's the most boring experience ever. That's why I want a change to make it entertaining.

Also, why dont survivors have weapons while the killer does? It would be WAY better that way. And a way different game.
The question always is: better for whom?
Did you mean Legion? hahah

@SMitchell8 said:
Because survivors like easy mode. Should have options for both. 1st person would be really fun and definitely harder.
exactly, so far as a survivor you can only lose the game if you play reckless or if you fail your skill checks, which is really boring and the reason why I only play survivor for the daily challenges... On 1st POV I would have to play smart, hide, and be really aware of everything around me, which would be a fun change and a challenge... Having the game so easy as a survivor is just boring.
-
@Thusly_Boned said:
Survivors would never win if they had first person perspective. I mean imagine it, really. Looking all around while working on a gen? Nope. Looking around while behind a wall or in cover? Not anymore. Imagine if looking behind you while running meant you couldn't watch where you were going, and how that would work in loops. Virtually every chase would result in a quick down.
OTOH, a few surv players might get jump scared to death, which would make DBD more of a proper horror game, I suppose.
so, like it should happen if it was you living the experience? oh no, immersion, who wants that? -.-
Also, most people mentioning loops... How is looping funny or entertaining in any way? When I'm a killer and a survivor keeps running around the same thing over and over again is the most boring part of being a killer. I just let them run and go for something else to do... As a survivor, running around the same thing over and over again is boring, and I rathrr have the killer catch me than waste my time on that...
-
Survivor perks:
Blood Pact. I'd like something more than just haste tbh. I don't know what, tho. Or maybe increase the distance between you and the obsession... Maybe even increasing the speed of healing the obsesion or being healed by the obsesion, as well as unhooking, and working on generators with the obsesion.
Killer Perks:
Territorial Imperative. I'd add the undetectable status effect when entering the basement.
Beast of Prey: Yes, another huntress perk that I find pretty useless. I'd add thr haste status effect. Maybe something like 5/10/15%. It's not much, but it would do something more than just giving bloodpoints...

Well killers would dominate and win every game easily so nobody would play survivor and looping is the most fun thing to do as survivor which would not be possible in 1st pov. That would not be dbd anymore and also killers powers would need huge nerfs and they would have to have lot slower movement speed. Maps would probably have to be lot darker and there should be more hiding spot.
Yeah, of course it would need changes. But I don't think it has to be massive. I mean, you already know the killer is nearby by its terror radius. What would actually need to change would be the gen repair, making it more entertaining. Someone mentioned a button to look back, that can be easily done and implemented... Idk... But it seems survivors don't want the slightest challenge so... yeah...

I mean if you have seen the Halloween movies 50 times then it stops becoming scary. Same thing with dbd. You won’t be able to loop at all.
games change, movies don't.

Because noone would play, everyone would just....die.
sounds like skill issue to me... As it is right now survivor is boring af when you can see your back when fixing a generator. Like, where's the part where survivors struggle?

In what way would it be better?
It would be more tense. With the survivors being able to see everywhere, it's not tense or scary or anything, as they know the location of the killer all the time
-
tbh, i wish the game was scary for the survivors... as it is right now is so ######### broing...
