How about a perk called "they all float down here." whenever a survivor looks at pennywise for more than 3 seconds they get mesmerized by the dead lights. They than unwillingly follow the killer to the hook.
-
You should continue to expect that as long as gen speed is unbalanced.
I guess i've been lucky. I haven't had a killer dc on me in a long time at red.
-
It's impossible to scare people with a killer. If you want to scare people play claudette.

I find it really odd that there are so many posts complaining about survivors, but if you check the que times, more people are playing killer than survivors. Seems like killer is the popular role atm.
What are you talking about? The general discussion wall has been flooded with nurf noed, nerf rancor, nerf nurse, nurf hilbilly, etc all last month.
-
It's perfectly ok. It's broken to all hell, but it's expected.
-
Freddy can literary be destroyed by survivors. I've seen a David do it once by the killer shack while i was repairing a gen. A nurf is the last thing he needs.

"Congratulations this is bait" this is bait. noed is just fine. I fully read it the first time.

Lol. this is bait. Noed Is just fine.

How ridiculous I sound?
Yea, back then there were literal infinites, they were changed because it was bad game design, just like blocking the hook was bad game design, not killers adapting.
But of course, killers blocking hooks = "adapting" according to the first comment I replied to, survivors using infinites = abusing mechanics.
This repetitive notion that killers are hard done by is hilarious, and washed out, the game has NEVER been easier for killers as it is now, but you're all here trying to get DS nerfed even more.
Yes ridiculous. Killers are still adapting just like back then. Infinite loops is an exploit no matter how you slice it. blocking hooks was an adaptation to that. do you have zero reading comprehension? The whole point of that post is that killers must adapt far more than survivors must adapt. It's Just as true back then as it is now. The only difference is that modern mid tier killers actually have a chance, while back then they had no chance.
That post has been copy, and pasted by multiple people over the years because it is timeless. It's a reminder to every toxic survivor main out there that they had it easy back then, and They've still got it easy today. The perfect question at the end "when is it the survivors turn to adapt?".
The fact that you even broke that post down into sections with little points is just the icing on the ridiculous cake. probably why you got the roflmao emoji.

Or, the thing that is actually true is you and your merry band of survivor haters can't dispute what I said.
Maybe you can copy and paste someone elses comments and disprove me using those
I don't copy and paste stuff. Maybe if you where around during that time you'd understand how ridiculous you sound.

Uh no. You're just not worth it. What you said is ridiculous.

LMFAO!

Let's nurf everything.

Sometimes i think it's a waste when it's destroyed 5 seconds in, or they just hit perfect skill checks. And other times it really slows things down. ruin Is unreliable. it's a complete gamble.
I think ruin should be reworked so it's not so unreliable.

God. Trapper would be so screwed if you could do that. Makes sense for hag though.

It's real easy to come up with great ideas to slow down gens. It's not easy cutting through all the toxic bias blocking the way to progress.

No. They're Going to ignore legion for the next 5 years.

Need is a strong word. I definitely wouldn't be against a common add-on that adds one, but the sooner you can learn to play without one the better. I can let the team know, but I can't guarantee it would be any time soon (if ever). We're a little bit booked up with the Nurse add-on changes at the moment.
Stop nurfing nurse right now you monsters!

I use a cross hair on pc because it's just a no brainer. console players can't do that, and they deserve an update to give them a cross hair option in the settings menu.

The aos sí (pronounced [eːsˠ ˈʃiː]; older form aes sídhe [eːsˠ ˈʃiːə]) is the Irish term for a supernatural race in Irish mythology and Scottish mythology (where it is usually spelled Sìth, but pronounced the same), comparable to the fairies or elves.
The fair folk. There are many types of fair folk. including the banshee.
And some are changlings. Pretending to be someone they are not, and then attacking, or punishing people that wronged them. The devs could have a field day with the artistic possibilities, and power options.

Freddy. Everyone said he sucked, but I mained him anyway because I wanted a challenge. I got to rank one with him in the second month while i was still very much a rookie. I never understood why the rework was necessary.

Ok! Streamers and youtubers are superior human beings and their videos prove that (insert whatever you want to believe here). Happy now? 🤔
Read my comment again. "ranks 1-20" not superior. Just normal people like you, and me that just happened to share their experience in dbd. Also "gameplay".
-
Your first mistake was thinking a dbd mobile game would be good.
Your second mistake was installing the app.
Your third mistake was posting it here instead of just deleting it, and moving on.

Streaming/Youtube content = "factual evidence". Ok then.
^case in point^ anything to deny facts. absolutely anything.
Take this guy as a good example. He has truly deluded himself into thinking hundreds of thousands of hours of rank 1-20 streamers, and youtubers playing DBD isn't factual evidence. You judge game balance by looking at the gameplay. not by dismissing the mount Everest of video evidence just because it goes against what you want to be true.
-
Sorry. The DBD forums doesn't accept factual evidence from hundreds of thousands of hours on stream, and youtube proving gens are unbalanced. Opinion rules these forums. not facts.

So many survivor mains here that know decisive strike is unbalanced, but will say anything to convince people it isn't so they can keep their pacifier perk.
But numbers don't lie. 4 survivors with ds get 240 seconds of immunity combined. That's 3 gens done when playing against an optimal team. Lockers are an exploit and have nothing to do with tunnelling. Working on a gen not worrying about getting grabbed, and so on, and so forth.
It not anti-tunnelling, it's anti-killer. if you want it To be anti-tunnelling make it 30 seconds, or disable ds after someone else has been downed, or even better delet it from the game.

If there's an unsafe rescue, hit the rescuer as they're unhooking, then hit them again after the unhook. You'll still have someone on the hook and you won't need to worry about DS.
That's a sound strategy, but you miss the point. you can't punish bad plays. an unsafe unhook like that should result in two hooks. Not one. DS shouldn't work inside the killers terror radius. That's what borrowed time is for. And it's not tunnelling 50 seconds after the save. Survivors get way too much invincibility time at 60 seconds. It needs to be reduced to 30 seconds.

Killers did adapt; survivors simply demanded nerfs every time we did. Every time, they got exactly what they asked for.
Survivors started abusing pallets to grief and farm rather than escape chases, killers complained, got told to 'just adapt' and we did. The devs then buffed pallets to make them foolproof so our adaptation to them no longer worked, because survivors complained about killers being able to adapt to this.
Survivors broke all the hooks, making it impossible for a killer to win if the basement was in a corner of the map. Survivors said 'just adapt', so we did. The devs then gave survivors buffs and killers nerfs to stop slugging at the end of the match where survivors die on the floor because of a situation they created. Eventually we got the regenerating hooks, almost a year after they were needed.
Survivors swarmed hooks for rescues, whilst accusing killers of 'camping' when we never had a chance to even leave the damn thing and as no survivors were doing gens, had no reason to. 'Just adapt' they said again, so we combined the perks Unrelenting and Save The Best For Last to speed-up melee cooldown and prevent hook-swarms. The survivors screamed so much about this, how dare we prevent them from getting away with constant in-game trolling, farming and abusiveness, the devs over-nerfed both perks beyond what survivors even asked for. No explanation was ever given for why the devs made the changes they did here.
Even survivors thought what they did was too much, but shrugged their shoulders and said 'good killer will just adapt' and we did: seeing as survivors were refusing to do gens anyway and always swarming the hook, we blocked the space for unhooking with 'face-camping'. They went ballistic; how dare killers keep adapting after we dismiss their complaints every time by telling them to J U S T A D A P T !
The devs buffed them: Trapper had the ability to put traps under hooks taken away(and this was disingenously listed as a bug-fix) and survivors are now able to unhook from multiple angles.
When is it survivors turn to 'just adapt'? Because it seems to me that whenever they encounter the slightest resistance in-game, their meta is to demand changes from the devs and almost the absolute majority of the time, they get what they ask for.
You copy pasted a lot of that post from someone else. You should give credit to the og.
But I 100% agree.
-
60 seconds is not anti-tunnelling. Why do people think 60 seconds is acceptable?
-
Chucky Is 2 feet tall. He can't us hooks. He needs another method of sacrifice besides hooks. Not a hard concept to figure out.
-
Clown is exactly his namesake. A Clown to be laughed at by survivors teabagging at the exit gate.
-
Chucky. But he'd need another method of sacrifice to replace hooks. Maybe he could drag the survivor instead of carrying him. and instead of a hook Chucky could throw the survivor into a hole. Other survivors could save by pulling them out of the hole by grabbing their outstretched hand.

they made the smart decision. I read the entire ridiculous post.
- 800% movement speed would be ridiculous to control
- D-Strike IS anti-tunneling. There's 4 people on the map. If you're back on me, have enough time to down me, and then pick me up within 60 seconds of me being unhooked (when there's 3 other people you could be applying pressure to) you tunneled. There's nothing to argue about there. Call it what you want. That's a tunnel.
- That 240 seconds of "free gen-time" is a red herring. That's not even remotely true so idk why you said that. People with d-strike aren't invincible and if they aren't being chased, will more than likely use that time to heal up. They can still get downed or chased or whatever which is why most killers slug them in the first place.
- Reducing the killer stun to half a second? lololololololol that's a free hit like spirit fury/enduring
- I don't know why you think DS should be disabled because the survivor decided to work on a gen or do something helpful for the team.
Throw the entire post in the trash and try again please
I respect your opinion, but I'm not sure you fully understand what I was trying to say.
But you're definitely not alone so I will indeed throw this post in the trash.
My goal was to make everyone happy with DS, and I obviously failed.

Exactly. Wouldn't that be fun? I think that would be fun. I went with that extreme speed because of billy. And it only lasts 8 seconds.

That's kind of misleading then. It says "see your own scratchmarks at all times" doesnt it?
Just because legion cant see them, doesnt mean you shouldnt be able to.
It should read, " see your scratchmarks as they appear to the killer".
The devs love wording things wrong, or keeping descriptions vague.
It's kind of what they do.

People that play both sides, and think objectively are superior.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/86173/are-killers-or-survivors-more-op
I think your bias is bleeding through a little (a lot) when you use D-Strike (one time use per match and typically when you get tunneled), Dead Hard (LOL, unreliable trash perk), and Borrowed Time (only matters if the killer is camping which makes it the killers fault typically when it works) as being "OP" and then claim that Killers have NO OP perks (hmm I wonder why every killer runs BBQ)
Now in my personal opinion, NO perks are OP on either side, but if we're talking about which side has the greatest POTENTIAL to be OP? It's killers hands down.
If you put probably any killer with their most powerful add ons and an Ebony Mori, that's basically an assured win every time.
Decisive strike has nothing to do with anti-tunnelling. You get 60 seconds of snowflake safe space time to do a gen completely worry free. If everyone has decisive strike that's a combined 240 seconds of snowflake safe space free gen time. If everyone has decisive strike, and stuns the killer, that's 20 seconds lost. Going purely by numbers it's much more efficient to just tunnel decisive strike users. The perk sucks all around.
And dead hard is awesome.

I can't believe it! I thought people where to stupid to understand the chase music is BS.
But There's actual intelligence on earth after all. Lets blow this topic up. Lets make the devs understand that we damned sure hate the ear splitting chase music, and we want sound sliders.
