Thank you so much. This is definitely helpful. What is SWF?
Completely forgot about the most common one.
SWF is survive with friends I believe.
-
I'll go through certain ones that I can think of.
PH - Pyramid Head (The Executioner)
GF - Ghostface
DS - Decisive Strike
BT - Borrowed Time
BBQ - Barbecue and Chili
BL - Balanced Landing
NoeD - No one escapes Death
If there are any other abbreviations you need feel free to ask.
-
Only if the cages go, I don't know, 25% faster than hooks? He's a relatively balanced killer, so taking away something could be alot worst than we think.
-
The one, main thing that always brings me to the game and the forums, is that it allows me to forget about my life, what happens and has happened in the real world.
-
The main thing I do is not focus on the ground, but the direction the killer is looking (which is hard but possible).
If he is looking infront of me then I'm turning right around.
Additionally, if he is using rites of judgement while you are about to drop a pallet or vault a window, don't. Run through the pallet or fake vault the window.
-
Are you running Deliverance by any chance?
-
Don't see any harm in this.

Yes, but I wasn't. why should I be boosted like this? Not very fair on the rank 7 killer.
But you were... he was rank 7 so his range was 1-13.
Is it fair? Depends. You won't get better by playing people of your own skill level, you'll learn by facing people better than you. Even at Rank 1 you're experiencing new challenges.
-
As for on topic, it sucks, and I hate to see it when I play survivor.

Yeah... this literally just happened. Matchmaking is FUBAR right now.
All of the survivors were within the killers rank range.
6 above and 6 below.
-
I second this...kind of.
I never really play swf, as most people I don't with I'm not really mates with. I've got roommates, but they don't play on the same platform as me.
-
You succeeded in making me laugh, that's for sure 😄

Can't wait to see people like you cry after they make it impossible to mori after a cage 😄
I think someone missed the joke... maybe I'm also missing this as being a joke too?

Why should it be intentional?
It would make reporting players and such only harder
I'm aware, that's what I saw many people complaining about, and then I believe someone confirmed it was intentional, only to receive alot of backlash.
-
Are you sure? I swear I saw a mod or developer say it was intentional on another post.
-
Fake them, you've got a good chunk of time to realise he's attacking, so you fake going through the window and go through it once he's stunned for three seconds, and if it's a pallet, you don't drop it but rather run to the right or left once passing through.
-
I'm going to say no to your first point, mainly due to the fact that it simply removes a ton of the killers pressure that he had, in which he had no control over. It's like ddisconnecting for the hatch.
As for your second point, this happens on Spirit due to a popular perked used on her named Stridor which makes grunts of pain louder. All three of these killers must have been using the perk.
I think it should effect your grunts when fully infected, but it should be a small amount, like 25% or 50%, as it is one of her main powers after all.
-
Can't wait to see it!
-
The developers have stated they have no intentions on changing camping. Under this, camping is classified.
Additionally, tunneling is simply going for the easier survivor. It's simply the smart move.

Same!
Although it mostly depends on the time of day.
I'll agree with this, although usually only if I'm up early in the morning (earlier than 11 I'd say) would I have longer queue times for killer than survivor.
-
The long wait time isn't due to ban times, but rather the lack of people willing to play killer.
Whenever I play killer, I'll very rarely wait more than 15 seconds to find a match, yet when I play survivor, I'm waiting 10, 15 minutes.
-
From what I recall, they start a chapter 5-7 months prior to its release. This is simply a coincidence.

For your first point you completely forget about killer shack and basement. Any Pyramid with above a 20IQ puts down rite at the window and both exit gates. All it takes is a small amount. This means you are being warned at any range when a survivor enters the killer shack for a hook save. You may not be able to do it a certain distant from gens, but there is no issue making a circle around a hook, thereby being able to tunnel and counteract any type of D-Strike by just sending them to the cage right off the ground.
The only perk that it counters in regards to killer is BBQ and Cheater. Which doesn't matter because you are getting a very nice tradeoff in the form of countering all survivor perks, not having to pick up the survivor, and potentially having them go to a distant place, away from gens - this is especially beneficial if you are doing a 3 gen strat.
Your third point, is all subjective. Like my point about it being harder to dodge. However, his attacks can go through any object, unlike death slinger. I don't even like to compare to death slinger since deathslinger is another smooth brained anti-chase killer that is extremely easy to play. He might not have extreme map pressure, but he can shut down any chase easily and is extremely effective around hooks and very powerful with 3 gen strats.
And a survivor with matching IQ when it comes to the shack, a hook or an exit gate, will just crouch walk, causing the effects of rites of judgement to be to be null.
As for windows, this is like Trapper, Freddy and Hag. They're strategic spots which benefit their power.
Yet again, you may not use it within a certain proximity of exit gates and hooks.
Going to just bring up the fact you called it BBQ and Cheater. Why? It rewards you for doing your objective. It's like calling Adrenaline an overpowered perk (which it is not).
Going back to the point,it counters other perks I often finding myself using such as Devour Hope or Dying Light.
If the killer gets you into a 3 gen, regardless of where he puts you, if it be the a hook or a cage, he will be in a highly advantageous position due to you and your teams lack of awareness.
All of this is subjective, for example, I really struggle playing against Wraith, yet most find him a weak and easy killer.
-
Due to my childhood, Chuggaaconroy.
-
As someone who plays both sides at rank 1 (not including right after reset) this killer, if anything, he is weak.
I'll start off by bringing up your first point that the killer gets a free territorial imperative with rites of judgement. This makes...little to no sense. Survivors have to avoid his rites of judgement if they don't want to scream, which unless you are in a chase, they are extremely easy to avoid. Additionally, they can't be placed within a close proximity of things survivors have to go near, which are generators, exit gates, and from what I think you mean by territorial imperative, hooks.
Your second point is that he counters alot of survivor perks. While yes, this is true, he also negates alot of killer perks that are related to hooks if he decides to cage someone. And for Pyramid to cage someone, they have to avoid his rites of judgement, and bringing up my earlier point, unless you are in a chase, you shouldn't be running into his rites of judgement.
Next of all, his punishment of the damned is the easiest to dodge. Unlike Deathslinger where you have to have above average reaction time to even have a chance of dodging his attack, with Pyramid Head it gives you enough time to react. Yes it goes through structures, but it's clearly shown where the damage will be dealt. Additionally, there are very few positions in which you have no chance to dodge it. And if you think the killer is going to use it, just fake the pallet drop. The killer will use his ability, miss and then proceed to have a 3.25 second stun.
The map, like I could've just said about the killer, people need to adapt to. The map hasn't even been out for a week, and you'll learn generator and loop spawns as time goes on.
Finally, if you are really going to chat about how killers are crying, then I suggest you do the same yourself.

Even if you are limited in time, this is still holding the game hostage to some extand. I don't personally face this issue on a daily basis, but the game isn't properly optimized and sucks up a lot of ressources from your computer making it hard for smaller configs to tab out and watch something and watching yourself bleed out while moving at the mind blowing speed of .7 m/s isn't really what you long for especially if you have limited time to play.
Using a perk to counteract the fact that the killer could potientially be BMing when he already won the game is a weird flex ! And if you already used Unbreakable you're left with the same issue on your shoulders. Ah maybe we should use No Mither ! ( Don't mind me, just playing around )
It would be holding game hostage if the killer, let's say trapped the last healthy survivor in a corner with no intentions of downing him, because the game won't end then. If he slugs however, despite how boring it is, which I will admit, the game will end in a short period of time.
-
Going to start off by saying that this isn't holding the game hostage. The game will end in four minutes at most. This timer is there so the killer can't hold the game hostage.
Additionally, if you are worried about being slugged, there are many advantageous perks that come in handy. Unbreakable is the most notable one, with Tenacity additionally being a great perk.
-
The Game
I love how it looks on the top floor, however majority of the bottom floor I have a hard time being able to see in.
Additionally the Yamaoka estate is a map I detest, for the same reasons mentioned above.
-
I just hope the hate ends in general. I know, I'm trying to be extremely optimistic, and hopeful to say the least, but if people just decided stop ranting, explain a bit more and rather than laughing at others opinion, to take them in and tell their own, which is included in this case, than we could actually get somewhere.
One can dream.
-
Yes, from what I'm aware it does.
-
He goes into B tier for me due to the fact that it doesnt come down to the killers skill with the power, it comes down to the survivors reaction times and awareness.
-
This is a bug from what I'm aware. He was infact a Legion and not a Ghostface however.
-
I'm good dude, better than usual. Welcome to the forums ^_^
-
I'm on mobile so apologies if this any way differing towards other devices.
At the bottom of the box in which you type you should see four images. Click the first one (The one that looks like a q and l) and then choose a font size.
Example: H3
Example: H4
Example: H5
-
Happens every time a killer comes out sadly, this isn't the first and I doubt it'll be the last, we just have to wait and hope people adapt quickly.
Last time when Slinger came out without a buff I was complaining on a post about adding Bunny Feng (######### month for me and decided rather tha complaining to my roommates I'd rant on the forums).
-
Ok, I know it's bad, but teo of them are within your rank range.
Is it acceptable that the other two aren't? No. You shouldn't be facing them at all.
-
This is a daily rewards we will receive up until the 23rd of June from what I'm aware.
-
No offense mate, but I'd suggest clocking in about 50 hours on both sides before having your final say.
As someone who has played the game for just under 700 hours, the game is much more balanced than you may think. It takes time to learn, and I hope you learn quickly.
-
The ban tome will increase due to multiple disconnects regardless if they're intentional or not. They reset every day.
-
Flip a coin twice???? First one deciding gender, second deciding between them. I honestly can't choose between them all.
-
Damn, 200 games. Well done dude! That's some dedication right there!
-
While his skill ceiling is low, he is extremely strong. He can put pressure on survivors constantly, and with certain builds, he's a complete threat.
-
If Legion didn't have it last week than he has it now.

That'd nerf it more though :(
If the killer could see the better together aura then they know where (usually) 2 people are without needing discordance.
Just remove the yellow aura on TOT and buff both perks in doing so (or, un-"nerf" Better Together anyway).
It was a joke (although I definitely couldve made it clearer)
-
So it should show the killer the generator glowing in yellow for both better together and trial of Torment, just so the killer couldn't tell the difference! Its genius!

The 6 and 6-B points apply to Pyramid Head and the Robbie The Rabbit skins as well.
This to me confirms that Konami enforced this then. Thanks for mentioning it btw.
-
1. I don't believe they have, although I've been paying attention to learning Pyramid Head so you may be right.
2. No. All killers have the same sized weapon hit boxes and it seems the same here.
3. I believe this is intentional, as is perks not working that are related to hooks.
4. Sadly nothing has been changed which I'm dissapointed in, as you can get the chapter, another survivor and have money left over (depending on your region).
5. I haven't actually seen this, I don't buy cosmetics often.
6. I don't why the developers did this but it was intentional and only applies to Cheryl. This may be due to something Konami enforced.
6B. Again, this only occurs with Cheryl.
