Why would you make the game free now ?
Why would you make the game free before the ranking/matchmaking changes ? I get it, Silent Hill, but soo many people will get discouraged from trying the game ever again, because they will struggle with literally finding a match, unfortunately that's how it is in low ranks (and high too, but to a lesser extent), wouldn't it have been a better move to make the game free after such a core issue has been fixed ? Afterall, isn't people having an actually good experience more important than more people having an experience, but this experience being a bad one ?

Behaviour doesn't care about long term player retention. They only care about money now.
Yeah, but at this point it's a matter of priority, isn't people having an actually good experience more important than more people having an experience, but this experience being a rather negative one (in many cases just a negative one, since they'll barely get to play...)?

As do any company that has a goal other than being charitable.
I disagree, especially in light of such a terrible point for said player retention.
Just for 5 days. It's goes with discount that means you still have to buy it.
