@Ember_Hunter It sounds great on paper, for Killers, but Survivors will just complain again about Legion being broken or unfun, honestly. It’s a situation we currently can’t win if we try to do anything that might make Legion what they used to be, but I love you idea!! 💜

Current Legion doesn't counter pretty much anything, lol.
He's on the level of Wraith/Trapper sweatiness involved to do well.
Unfortunately, yeah. I just play them due to my obsession with their appearance and lore, but I figured I might as well post my somewhat viable build to newer players who felt the same way as me towards them.

People are allowed to play the way they want and do what they want. If you don’t like it, then just play SWF, if not, then don’t complain. People bought the game to play it the way they want to.

@undeadmauler Yeah, I just want to make sure Legion isn’t seen as ‘dead’ by newer players. They can still be usable, but they’re VERY underwhelming. If people, like me, love them for their design though, it’s nice to try and get some usage out of them. ;D

Blood Warden- I think just pausing the timer rather than slowing it down would be a lot fairer for both sides, but good suggestion! :D
Fire Up- It really should have some starting value. It’s not like it would hurt either, especially if a Killer thinks they’ll be the quickest Killer in the West just for using your suggested Fire Up buff with Brutal and Bamboozle. They’d really just be wasting two perk slots, so I see no issue in buffing it at all!
NoeD- Controversial, but it’s alright. I would say that if there was ever going to be some nerf to this perk, which there won’t be from what not_Queen and Peanits always say, then there should always be some sort of nerf to Adrenaline to follow with it, but that’s a story for another thread.
Rancor- Honestly a fine perk, it’s just NoeD but with extra steps for the Obsession.
Remember Me- It was nerf due to the EGC introduction, but it really shouldn’t have, especially with perks like Wake Up, Spine Chill, and Leader existing to counter it. There should either be a slight buff to it or some sort of new feature to it to make it worthwhile.

Now that Freddy has gotten his long deserved rework, I have a serious question...
Will Killers such as Legion and Leatherface have to wait the same amount of time that Freddy did to receive any sort of major rework or would we expect something to release soon that hasn’t been announced yet? A lot of the community has been asking for these two Killers to either receive MAJOR buffs or MAJOR reworks and we barely get any feedback about it. Can you PLEASE inform the community of what you have planned for these two Killers? It would be really appreciated!! Thank you again for taking the time to listen to our questions! 💜💜💜

It’s supposed to do that! It’s like a chainsaw! I think these cosmetics are VERY unique, but I question why the Leather Pig outfit is the most expensive set in the game right now..

@lindenis I think that’s the point of the discussion. SB is being abused but hasn’t been addressed, nor will anyone be punished for using it, while bugs in the past, like the double blade addon bug for Legion, would cause anyone who was using it to get banned while they were trying to fix it.

Presumably the next time there’s a major event. No one truly knows though when a F2P weekend will return since, most of the time, it’s unpredictable, so your friend will just have to keep an eye out in the meantime.

Against Survivors:
Decisive Strike if used by a SWF group. Honestly, it’s really annoying but I can see the purpose of it being used to discourage tunneling, however it gets annoying trying to figure out who still has it prepped and ready whenever you’re near endgame.
OoO is one of those perks that just frustrate me deeply. No bad player will ever be caught using it, because if they were, they’d be dead, but when used by someone who knows practically every loop in DbD and how to spam the crouch button, it’s pretty annoying.
Against Killers:
Franklins. Honestly, it’s pretty annoying to go against this and, I get it, most of the Survivor’s kit that they’re given is pretty broken right now with the ‘gen rush meta’ and ‘toxic flashlight player’ builds, but when you lose something like your Ranger Medkit, then it’s really depressing.
Haunting Ground. The cuck of the hexes. Expecting Ruin? Nope. It was Haunting. Git gud. Honestly, I find it funny that totems are supposed to be secondary objectives, but hexes like these just punish the Survivors for trying to do their objective...

I wouldn’t really consider sloppy to be above BBQ and Ruin. If anything, I don’t think sloppy is really popular anymore with the current ‘don’t heal’ meta. Spirit Fury and Enduring really should’ve ended up on the list with how often they’re used, but it’s still a nice observation. Having more clarification from a developer or community manager would be nice though. :)

As someone who has been a Legion main since day one of his release in the PTB back in 2018, I agree that he needs changes...It breaks my heart to see Legion go from mid-tier to beneath Freddy in such a short time span.

Sounds kind of like Deathgarden, but I’m not saying this wouldn’t be fun, no! This sounds awesome! Though, lorewise, I wonder how it would work...I guess there would be a lot of hope out of Survivors and feeding for the Entity from fallen Survivors, but hey, anything can happen, I guess!

You’ve been seeing it, but I want my take on this too...
Will Legion be receiving any sort of buff or rework in the new future? A lot of people have been voicing their opinions on this lately and I really don’t want this unique Killer to be killed off. People have been voicing add-on reworks, buffs, and even ability changes that they want to see, but there’s been zero feedback from anyone at BHVR about it. We need to know what’s in store for Legion. Please.

Something else to update...
Legion wasn’t in the list of Killers who were 40% off. This kind of shows that BHVR knows no one currently wants Legion, because there’s no reason all Year 2 Killers should’ve be 40%, but Legion wasn’t. Something needs to be done about Legion. :(

He isn’t ‘fine’, he isn’t fun, and he sure as hell DOES need a buff or rework.

@SunderMun It’s not really Legion’s fault that Survivors DC nowadays. That’s just due to the fact that Survivors will DC against anyone these days to keep their precious stuff without getting punished serverly at all yet for ruining other’s time.

@BunnyTheHutt Exactly. I can still 4K as Legion, but that doesn’t mean I enjoy it or find it fun, something in which they were trying to do for Year 2 Killers. It shouldn’t be stressful to play a Killer who is suppose to be ‘fun’. If that were the case, then I really should just give up playing Legion for someone like Ghostface, who is identified as a ‘Hard’ Killer to learn, in which, he really isn’t, and is a lot more fun and less stressful...I don’t want that to be the case though. I want to have fun as my favorite Killer! :(

There’s no downsides, but the conversation has been brought up before and the devs have said that it would just take too much time off of their hands to create a bloodied design for every single piece of cosmetic released into the game.

I mean, with it being their main objective and practically only objective, there isn’t anyone to blame for this. You could SAY it’s the Dev’s fault, but when it comes to balancing and trying to make the game stable, they shouldn’t be blamed. I think as long as we continue to discuss the topic of secondary objectives, then perhaps maybe the Devs will look into adding more into the game for Survivors and Killers to do.

I mean, I don’t think there was any issues with it to begin with, but since recently, after they tinkered with the volume of the game, Stridor actually seems like a useful perk...I love running it on GF and going into to stealth with it to hear hurt Survivors nearby. :)

@AshleyWB Still, they shouldn’t just forget about them. They’re just as important as any other Killer is to the game. A lot of players loved Legion for their design, lore, and their concept, but now it just feels like maybe they really ARE trying to forget about them. That shouldn’t be the case... :(
