You won't be banned by the devs or anything, but I'm unsure of the rules and guidelines of what Microsoft/Sony consider as bannable. You should consider looking into that, since it was originally bannable from what I recall back in the day, but with games such as Cringe-nite allowing it, it shouldn't really be considered bannable on there.

If you use bamboozle on legion you vault windows faster but nothing helps with vaulting pallets. What if brutal strength made legion vault pallets faster or the dev's made a new addon that allows them to vault faster.
Actually, it does help with pallet vaulting. I’ve tested it, it even works with Fire It Up. But you can’t exactly fix bullet wounds with bandages, considering you’re wasting perk slots for Bamboozle and or Fire It Up...

Worst for both has to be The Game.
The Game just has too many unsafe loops for Survivors to rely on, while there’s too many corners and cuts for Killers to easily lose a Survivor’s track with. It’s not bad, of course not, it just depends on who you’re up against. It could be Hell on Earth for Survivors, it could be a cakewalk for Killers, and vice versa. It’s all about how you play your cards on this map, honestly.
-
Been a problem since day one of the supposed ‘minor changes’ to Legion. It’s actually smarter btw to run Enduring on Legion just to have your fatigue timer completely ignored by getting stunned. Funny how a Killer HAS to rely on getting stunned to exit their ability, huh?
Please, for the love of god, listen to our feedback for once and change Legion’s stun. It’s an actual joke. Everything about this Killer nowadays is a joke and it’s actually depressing.
-
I think adding challenges to being able to kill someone is actually very unique and fun, but this would also require the polar opposite of moris to be reworked: Keys.
Besides that, I totally think this would be an awesome idea, man! 💜

Time to pull out the duct tape.

Actually yes, we do. Sonograms and other prenatal tests are there for a reason. If the baby is severely deformed and not viable.. there are options for the parents....
Dunno what's so wrong about discussing the perks and ability. It's human nature to be inquisitive and want to discuss...
Well this is getting dark.

@Chaotic_Riddle Honestly I think they were better than I expected 😄 killer perks are fun ones, the vault blocker perk is insane on the new map.
I guess so, yeah, but having it be radius based seems a bit too underwhelming, but they did say on stream that this isn't the final product yet, so who knows.
-
@AshleyWB Yeah, after seeing all the notes and stuff, you were kind of right, some of these Killer perks seem underwhelming right now.
-
Short answer:
No.
Long answer:
No. DS is currently fine the way it is, as it is supposed to defend the Survivors against tunneling. If you get down after 60 seconds, then there would be no point in using the perk besides just getting a ‘get out of jail free’ card, as the Killer had wasted their time chasing you for longer than an actual minute and you bought your team enough time to accomplish their task. It’s perfectly fine and does not need a buff.
-
It’s pretty handy, especially with Enduring, but Spirit Fury does it’s job better with Enduring. If you don’t own the Shattered Bloodline DLC, then yes, Brutal is absolutely worth it, considering the fact it’s from a base Killer, and relying on Spirit Fury to actually appear in the Shrine is a long shot.

@AshleyWB said:
@Chaotic_Riddle useless compared to brutal strength and bamboozle.
Having all gens kicked by doing your objective as a Killer is not useless. It’s like saying Adrenaline is useless because Self-Care exists. With all gens degreased by picking up a Survivor, you could combine it with Thrilling Tremors to keep all gens under lock and key for a decent amount of time while going out to focus on killing other Survivors.
Having all windows blocked for 30 seconds is very situational, yes, and Bamboozle IS technically better due to the fact that you can use it whenever, the perk still can make situations where if you hooked a Survivor near other Survivors working on a gen much more handy in actually focusing on them rather than having to deal with infinites for the amount of time you have left, giving you at least an easy hit, if not an easy down depending on who you’re playing, with this perk. (I will say though that you are technically right on Bamboozle being better, I’m just trying to state that the perk isn’t entirely useless.)
They’re FAR from useless, my friend. I can see some Nurses using the second perk and a lot of gen-protecting Killers using the first one, especially Doctor.

@AshleyWB said:
Nice Survivor perks the killer ones are pretty bad. Hope the killer ones are wrong.
You’re insane if you think those two perks are actually useless.
-
Rule #6: If the Legion is using Feral Frenzy, you MUST stand still and not 360 them, then start mending as soon as they stab you.
-
Because BHVR has a current system where if you disconnect, you get to keep your item. It’s currently stupid, makes no sense, and is abused way too often.
-
Plague.
Dont get me wrong, she’s an amazing Killer, but holy hell, does she make me physically sick when dealing with her. Never been a huge fan of throw up scenes in games and movies...Or real life for that matter. 🤢

Its in a very bad state, shown by the lack of player growth and stale meta perks.
For a long time now there has been a slow decline in viable survivor perks and now killer mains push for adrenaline to get nerfed as well now that Mettle of Man got made unusable.
Killer perks on the other hand are mostly as strong as they always been, u usually stick with the 2-3 same perks and have 1 rando if u wana spice things up.
But devs are absolutely catering to killers this year and it shows.
Legion and Pig have been nerfed far too many times, not to mention the fact that Nurse is gonna be nerfed soon. Just because one perk that clearly was broken and blatantly stupidly designed was nerfed doesn’t mean that the devs were outright catering to Killers. It made playing M1 Killers impossible.

That actively makes his ability worse since then no one wastes time mending.
Yeah, now that you say that, that's kind of true.
-
Well, the quiet part is just referring to his lore. Nea is technically the sneakiest Survivor but most of her cosmetics stick out like a sore thumb, so we wouldn’t exactly call her by her intended title.

Just take deep wound completely out of the game. Make it to where if you get hit by legions power it puts you in a broken status effect for like 15-20 seconds. Simple.
Its practically the same as that, except Deep wound is safer for the Survivors, so who knows where that could go. Maybe it could cause Exhaustion too for a brief duration?

@Peanits said:
Not being able to down someone with Feral Frenzy is very much so intentional. Since you can vault pallets and windows like a survivor, being able to down them with Feral Frenzy as well was (and always will be, as long as it's possible) overkill. It turned chases into wait for power > use power > repeat- there was no skill involved, you didn't need to outplay the other person, you just ran out the clock until you got a guaranteed down.
Blood and scratch marks not appearing is also very intentional. Since your power is non-lethal, the intent is to show you people who don't have deep wounds, not those that do. Using your power against someone who is already injured is silly, you cannot down them with your power.
It's not likely that the Legion will receive a full rework. A rework would require completely changing their power (like Freddy). We do have some changes we'd like to make, but there is no exact date for them just yet. We'll squeeze them in once we can.
Mind giving us a hint of what those changes COULD be, if possible?
-
@Mushwin It's supposed to resemble Zoey from L4D1 and L4D2.
-
The only theory I can give you is the odd coupons that the game, Dying Light, gave you, as well as Dead By Daylight. Both gave you coupons to the other game, so that might’ve been a hint..? That’s just my theory.

They should come in order meg was this week
There is no ‘order’, just because someone leaked it in a certain matter doesn’t mean the devs are obligated to do that specific order.
Also, the Ghostface outfit is hella fine, it ain’t stupid.
-
@thesuicidefox Internal resources..? It’s literally just update the game to hold ten players into one lobby. If another team on BHVR can manage to do that with a game that barely has the same amount of sales as DbD does, I’m sure they can manage that. If anything, it would be easier to manage that once dedicated servers come out.
-
@BackByDaylight I already mentioned the reddit post in my statement.
@AzdrubaelVect Pretty much, I just don’t see the issue with it at all.
@Masantonio D e a r g o d
@TurboTestosterone Exactly.

@Atrushan88 I don’t main Pig myself, but I know that Pig’s true Endgame potential was killed when they changed it entirely. The chance of Survivors actually popping gens with someone having a trap on in a SWF group is very slim, unless if they’re screwing around and WANT their friend to die, so it’s more of a thing Pig mains just might not like dealing with, especially since they’re used to the whole ‘trap at endgame’ type of thing.
What im saying is that if a Pig player has a suggestion for something like that, which they have given plenty before, then it wouldn’t hurt to experiment with it, right?
-
Legion is good.
-
Legion is in a tough spot right now. Their power is more of a DS for Killers and their addons are all useless besides cooldown and extended mending. They’ve stated that they’re going to rework the button addons, but that doesn’t help fix the situation Legion is in. Legion really just needs an entire rework imo.

My thinking^^.
A really good killer and killer design lets you enough space for your own way to play the certain killer.
Bad designs try to press you in a role, that in the most cases make no fun.
Exactly.
-
I think they did a very good job on the looping. The placement of where everything is though is a bit confusing since I’m used to the older version of the map, but I love it nonetheless!
-
@Peanits Thank you!! 💜
Though I have to ask...Is there anything planned for Legion currently? Any news we should know about?

1) There was reason to change the Pig, as I said the old RBT in EGC would have been OP.
2) They never even made live the TR change you are talking about. It was tested and deemed stupid. So IDK why you are complaining. Are you saying the devs shouldn't test ideas and just put stuff in the game from theorycrafting? Because that's not how game design works. You test EVERYTHING, that's literally how you solve problems in game design. You can't do that with a pen and paper, you need to play with it.
3) The devs won't tell you ######### until they are at a point where they are confident whatever they are doing is the right move. Every time they told us stuff that wasn't ready, guess what happened? It never made it to the live game. And then people would complain about it not being fixed despite them saying they were doing X to fix it. It's better to just shut up and not say anything until the solution is actually ready to go live, and all they need to test on the PTB is the minute details like duration of effects and such.
So we’re not allowed to voice our opinions and just pretend like everything is going to be ok? Yeah, I’m sure that’s gone well before for any community in any other game that has had balancing issues. And I really don’t want to come off as rude to you, because I am not like that at all and I thank you for the feedback that is given, but some of us just don’t want constant updates with no answers. If you can respect that, thank you, if not, then just ignore us. But it’s our decision as a community to voice our feedback when something needs to change.
-
@thesuicidefox There’s been no reason to touch Pig at all though. Remember when they had it where her RBT worked similarly to Deep Wound in which, if you were in her TR, it would’ve stopped the timer? There was no reason for that. Granted, they never went through with it, but there was NO reason to even try it to begin with. And yes, we all know why Legion was nerfed, but that’s why we’ve been asking for a rework or some sort of buff that could still use their current playstyle but at least make them viable. And why the silence? Why are they not telling us anything themselves? We need answers for those kinds of things. I don’t want the ‘why we did/planned to do this’ for Legion, I want the ‘this is what we have planned.’ For Pig, I just want them to STOP messing with her. Two of my friends who have been Pig mains from day one can agree that the continuous amount of changes towards Pig are unnecessary.
We need communication.
We need answers and we need to stop being ignored.

They just don't care...
I really don’t want to believe. Honest to god, I don’t, but it’s getting hard to keep hanging onto false prophets when the truth is as clear as day. This post is up 430 views at least, and still nothing from anyone at BHVR. They’re outright ignoring any threads and posts regarding Legion and Pig and it’s starting to get to me. It’s upsetting and it’s outright disrespectful to just ignore your player base when they’re demanding that something serious be done to two Killers who don’t deserve this kind of treatment.
-
@Talmeer I’m just shocked honestly. If a post mentions Legion, then no one at BHVR actually takes the time to read it or comment on it, but when there’s posts about someone complaining about SWF being OP and need to block third party services, then they’ll voice their opinion on that and tell them everything they need to know or should know.
I used to love seeing not_Queen discuss Legion posts and mention the Legion forum members using their pins on their posts. I used to love seeing anyone from BHVR just acknowledge us for even one brief moment, but it feels like they want Legion dead, and now they’re aiming to shoot down Pig mains next. I don’t want constant nerfs, I don’t want constant radio silence, I WANT communication. I want to know SOMETHING, even if it’s bad news. I don’t want silence on a topic that is serious! We need information. :(
-
@Mellow7 said:
Hope is lost for legion sadly, BHVR won't revisit him anytime soon and all the complaints and threads won't make him be on their priority list, killers are the minority and from a buisness stand point would you rather please the majority or the minority of your costumers.
Who knows, maybe we’ll get some info someday. :/
-
Give that generator a good rub and Freddy will grant your wish...~ 😉

@DaS_only Understandable. :P

I wish we could play DbD in 2016, loop you to oblivion with old DS in the pocket and BNPs of my mates just to say at the end "Just down me."
Too bad it was nerfed, huh? Then again, so was Legion, so I can’t speak, lmao.
-
Not everyone wants to play Nurse and Hillbilly all day
-
@NMCKE Eh, it was more or less a joke. I hate being camped more than the next guy, but I could careless. If I die, so be it, on to the next match while Sir Camp-ith the Thirtieth gets to sit in a lobby simulator for twenty minutes after getting a 1k. :P
-
Always bring Spirt Fury and Enduring if you’re against getting looped. They’ll make your life so much easier.
-
Just don’t get downed.
-
Probably won’t happen. But hey, if you want new game modes, Deathgarden is listening to their community's feedback and will be releasing a 2v10 mode soon, so if you ever get bored of playing Killer by yourself on DbD, there’s always that.
-
- Jason currently has his own game
- Due to an ongoing legal battle, the rights to the Friday The 13th series in products outside of it are VERY difficult to obtain at this time
- While Hillbilly and Leatherface are exactly the same (due to Hillbilly being inspired by LF), it would be very odd to have Jason come in when he would just be a reskin of the Trapper. His ability might be different, but Trapper was HEAVILY inspired by Jason from what most of us can tell, so it wouldn’t really make sense, but...If Leatherface could be added then anything is possible, but with #1 and #2, it still seems unlikely at this time.
-
@Peanits @not_Queen I’m sorry for the ping, but the community really needs to know what’s up. Do you guys want to give any sort of comment..? It seems like whenever Legion is brought up, it goes under the radar for everyone at BHVR. 🙁
