It would need to be insane, like 5 stuns at tier 3, Hexs already need Undying just to be viable due to their vulnerability, and allot of them like Lullaby aren't even all that powerful without allot of work from the killer,
honestly if this imaginary perk were a thing it should only effect dull totems. Again it doesn't have to be stuns.

If you dont know it by now then youve been living under a rock for the past 5 years..this game was changed 3 years ago or so to be more survivor freindly and give them a bit more power to live longer in the game but for a while now the game is now pro survivor freindly and have given them a bit too mutch power to the point were some of the killers arnt even scary anymore and some player go looking for the killer just to piss him off
Are you aware of how busted this game was at launch? It was unbelievably survivor sided. Since then the game has gradually gotten more balanced. When the game launched, BNPs could straight up instantly complete generators. One and two-state instaheal medkits existed. We'll Make It lasted for two minutes, you could stack unhook buffs up to a 300% healing speed boost, and it stacked with perks like Self Care. This allowed you to heal yourself to full with Self Care in a few seconds while in the middle of a chase. There were probably at least twice as many pallets on maps, including a number of loops with multiple safe pallets. Literal infinite loops existed on most maps. Exhaustion recovered while sprinting, meaning you could proc your exhaustion perks multiple times in the same chase. Bloodlust didn't exist at game launch... killers had a few other things going for them too, like being able to face camp people to death because swivel hooks didn't exist, but still, the game was stupid survivor sided.
----
The aura change was apparently the result of a re-write that was designed to reduce bugs and make the code more maintainable. They were busted for like one patch and then they were fixed.
Moris were absolutely busted and really needed a change. Survivor mains and killer mains alike would agree on this; those that don't like the change are mostly annoyed that keys weren't nerfed too, justified or unjustified as that annoyance may be. If it turns out that killers can't hang without Moris and kill rates drop precipitously, I'm sure killers will be buffed in other ways to compensate.
You're obviously entitled to your own opinion about the maps, but I really like new Autohaven! The new maps apparently weren't just for cosmetic reasons; if you believe the devs, they were also going back through to optimize them for better performance. In practice I don't think my performance has really improved much, but still, if you can improve visuals without a big degradation in performance that's still a pretty cool change. They might mess around with the lighting and things going forward if they're an issue - I'm sure they're not going to just leave the maps and never touch them again.
----
The devs deserve criticism for plenty of things imo. I'm personally frustrated with the number of major, game-breaking bugs that still make it into releases. For example, on 4.4.1, one bug fix patch after Elodie Rakoto was released, I gave the new perk Deception a try. On my first use I was sucked into the locker and was unable to move for the rest of the match. The killer could open the locker and see me inside, but they couldn't hit me or pull me out of the locker. I ended up dying in the EGC... It felt horrible trying to get a flashlight save on 4.4.0 too; everything just felt off despite no mention of anything in the patch notes. Turns out, when the 4.4.1 patch notes came out, not only had they reworked flashlights and massively reduced accuracy in 4.4.0 without so much as a mention in the patch notes, but there were so many bugs that flashlights were basically unusable on 4.4.0. Some of these were called out as fixed in the 4.4.1 patch notes, but they're very clearly still an issue, like the missing visual feedback from a successful blind. And this isn't even talking about how unfinished the Twins were, with Victor getting stuck in the ground, Victor being able to hit survivors inside lockers, survivors being able to kidnap Victor through the hatch, all of the perks from that DLC not working as intended, etc... It's honestly been a ######### show.
On the performance side, it's also inexcusable that this game performs extremely poorly even on recommended hardware, despite their stated goal from almost two years ago of hitting 60 FPS on all platforms, including minimum spec PCs. Performance was already an issue on minimum hardware and what did the devs do? Released the game for Switch anyway despite the absolutely atrocious performance instead of improving it to an acceptable level. I love that DBD is available on so many platforms now, but releasing on Switch while being fully aware that the Switch would not be able to run this game is just frustrating, and in my opinion wrong. They should have made a big performance push first.
----
Conclusion: BHVR gets a lot wrong and DBD is frustratingly unpolished even four years after launch, but I have mostly agreed with BHVR's changes in terms of balance and I appreciate the massive amount of content they continue to add to the game. So, on the whole, it's a mixed bag, but there are plenty of reasons to keep playing. The game definitely isn't being ruined and that's clear from the robust player counts it still has.
Except you can't read statistics and there is a massive downward slope at the end that isn't leveling off which should be concerning to anyone looking at it.

It did which is why they turned it off. But if they can get it working the way it was supposed to, then it could be a big boon to DBD. The way it's supposed to work is that it pairs you up with survivors that are close to your rank as killer, and not just killer in general, but it gauges how well and how often you play with each killer. So if you've never tackled Ghostface before, then you're guaranteed not to get a sweaty match.
At this rate though it sounds like it would be far easier to just allow you to throw in NPCs into a custom match then MMR at this point.
I don't know how you have any faith left in this company to make a good product. They will burn us again just you watch.

^This. We've been waiting months for the MMR to be turned back on, and at this point I don't know if it ever will. Newer players (especially newer killers) have such a high bar to overcome when stepping into DBD. When you play survivor you at least have three other teammates to watch your back, whereas if you're playing killer it's just you.
If BHVR is not going to turn the MMR back on then they need to create a practice mode that allows newer players (and experienced players) as a way to practice without being expected to compete, because as we all know the matchmaking in this game is seriously messed up.
Don't bank on MMR the last time they implemented it it only made things worse.

This is where people are mislead tho. The game isn't about killing people, it's about hooking and pleasing the entity. Don't believe me? Emblem system proves it itself.
No the game is about killing to use your logic they are called killers so of course they are going to kill, but to use better logic most if not all PvP games are about killing people. The emblem system doesn't even know what it wants so that point is moot.

So if you downed someone near a hooked survivor, you would slug them and then proxy until someone comes in the for save? Rather than just hooking the downed survivor and playing from there? What is this some sort of esports tournamnet where you have to force death on ppl?
Imagine trying to kill people in a game about killing people! what nerves! If I do say so MYSELF!

"gave bad killers a chance to at least do decent."
first of all, if you're doing bad you shouldn't deserve a kill in the first place. The mori nerf was a good change.
Hey remember that matchmaking doesn't work with brown and greens going up against red ranks all the time, but no need to throw a bone to the newer player that are getting stomped, oh wait they're leaving en masse 😱.

I PvP in a number of games, and I don't put up with poor behavior in any of them. I simply report and move on to the next game.
Ah yes the toxic behavior that only you deem toxic, that the devs have already stated are perfectly legitimate ways to play. Yeah these games aren't for you.
-
@Starshadw said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/213035/the-new-killer-strategy
The only way poor behavior will end is if the devs put mechanics in place that discourages it (and I can think of multiple ways of doing so for all of the various toxic behaviors we see). This is going to be an uphill battle because I've watched DBD devs streaming themselves playing Killers and engaging in poor behavior like tunneling and face-camping, and almost every streamer I've watched does the same thing. It's a shame, because such behavior utterly ruins the enjoyment for one or more players.
If someone's way of "winning" ends up ruining the enjoyment of other people playing? Then in my opinion, that's not winning at all.
This game isn't for you then or any that involves PvP for that matter.

People, quite literally, have been saying they are exactly the same, have you not been reading some of these comments? People during the Twitch stream today that Behavior hosts were even commenting “Claudette 2.0” in reference to Elodie. Just because YOU don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
And people called Felix David 2.0 and Ghostface Myers 2.0 what's your point other then to bait.

*Very poor desyncs with the dedicated server
*When all Plagues wells are corrupted she will gain her power and open up a well, cannot corrupt all wells (might be working as intended)
The fountain one at the end is intended

It's also possible that The Twins Christmas cosmetic is bugged as it is not supposed to be a set, as stated in the trailer.

It doesn't end after you down someone it takes a couple seconds and has a weird fade out, it's not much but it's still a bug.

Mikey's Chase music is bugged

It's a poor excuse for what? All me and everyone else is doing is stating an opinion, it's just you and everyone else who plays this killer have taken it so closely to heart and can't stand to hear anyone say this about your main. Literally why do you even care what we have to say about this killer?
And I have no idea what you mean by the second statement. That's not our only reason for calling Deathslinger boring tf? If the devs didn't "use this excuse" our opinions of the killer wouldn't magically change. He's boring because he's uninteractive as hell in a chase (the only thing that the majority of survivors find fun) and your skill as a survivor doesn't mean anything, not because the devs said so.
Boring = excuse to nerf things. But No, you don't want to nerf him you'll just complain ad nauseam about him and how Boring he is hoping the devs do something about it but that's not a "nerf".
If your only true argument against him is he's boring in chase people shouldn't listen to you about balancing.

And for what it is worth, I understand this view. I've gotten my share of bad apples as fellow Survivors. I've gotten the nimrods that try to work for the Killer, and those that entered the game somehow already in league with the Killer. I've gotten the morons who just crouch around doing nothing. I've been farmed so many times I should be getting subsidies from the Federal Government. I understand your frustration; I really do. I stay, however, and fight for as long as I can because one other Survivor might just deserve a few more minutes to finish a Rift, a Generator, find the Hatch, or something. I fight to the bitter end just because it is my nature.
I just don't want you to think I don't share your contempt for bad Survivors. I do.

Those are the only 2 feasible ways to play against him, yes. It's dumb but...hell idk I can't even be bothered complaining about this killer anymore. Anyone who thinks he's fine turn into brick walls and refuse to acknowledge your opinion of Slinger being boring, and will go to unfathomable lengths to tell you why you're wrong, and anyone who thinks he isn't fine have exhausted all their talking points to death now trying to get through to said brick walls.
Honestly I don't even hate Deathslinger anymore I'm just numb to it at this point and no longer care.
Because your literal argument is he's boring. It's a poor excuse. And, the only reason you guys insist on using this excuse is because the devs use it as well, quite poorly.

I'm pretty sure the only change he had was the ability to break pallets. There was nothing on the recent patch notes that was related to the turning of his lunge.
It was in 4.2.0 and all he really needed to be good after that was the ability to break pallets. Technically I was wrong, however they still buffed the turning on release so if you want to grasp at straws go ahead.

The only buff Blight received after release was the ability to break pallets and walls with his Lethal Rush. Before that he only had bug fixes and people already recognized how strong he was.
His turning during his lunge at the end of lethal rush was buffed. Fyi two buffs is literally enough of a difference to make a killer good or bad.

A lot of people also said his power was useless and only useful for mobility. Look at him now. Both Pyramid Head and Slinger were also labeled as weak killers during PTB.
Why do we keep forgetting that Blight was buffed after release and the amount of "weak killer" he got when first coming out was justified.

Why should I prove him wrong? He is asking if others have to throw games to get challenges done, and this is not the case for me. If he does not have fun, this is his opinion and nothing more. And this is subjective.
Like, I think its unfun for the Survivors to slug the 4th guy, others dont care. But if I have to do a Challenge to close the Hatch or hook in EGC, I have to do that.
So nothing to prove right or wrong, all subjective.
But from the forums, it is pretty clear that most people want super-easy Challenges. They complain when they need to play 5 games to complete them, they complain when they need to get a 4K and so on.
So if your not going to bother proving him wrong why bother posting.
I also love how you are saying I had to make the games incredibly unfun for everyone involved, but at least I didn't throw.

If the Challenges are too hard for you, it is a you-problem. The only Challenges which were too hard where the ones from the very first Tome. Since then, the Challenges are more grindy than difficult.
DBD-players wanted it easy, so they got it easy.
But hey, be edgy and use a Clown-Emote. :)
No you proved him right by naming the hard challenges you didn't have fun with, but keep being a clown I'm sure people will love to have conversations with constant contrarians.

Snares activate: notification
Gen blowing up to wake up: notification
etc
all that while the survivors are likely having a negative status.
2 things
- Freddy has no where near enough snares to be all seeing, and if he is using the snares to get information he is using them wrong.
- There are other ways to wake up that don't involve making a loud noise notification and as a result blowing up a gen to wake up should be done as a last resort.
I don't begrudge you if you are playing solo Q, and if you are my honest advice is don't. Play SWF as it works against all killers.

Do you really want me to lecture you and explain the difference between a negative and positive feedback loop? Somehow, I doubt it. What I am going to point out is this tantrum of a thread isn't going to have the effect you want. You want to vent, well you are venting on the company's dime. That is another freebie they are giving you even as we type. You should feel vindicated that they are so progressive that they are willing to pay for you badmouthing them. They will even leave these posts up for posterity should anyone want to go back and look at them later.
To be irrational, I would have to be emotional about this in the first place. I'm not; I'm a cold fish when it comes to this topic. Let me give you some context that I think will help:
- I don't care about cosmetics.
- I don't buy cosmetics.
- I will happily take and use any free stuff they give me.
- The basic game was cheap.
- The DLC I've bought so far were all cheap.
- There are constantly sales going on that are 60%+ off.
- There is no competitive edge to any of the cosmetics.
- All Perks introduced by new DLC eventually show up on the Shrine.
- We don't pay a subscription fee.
- The company literally loses money on me, as I'm an extremely thrifty shopper.
Oddly enough, you are exactly the kind of customer they want, i.e. someone who simply must have whatever new "Skin" is available for your favorite Killer, or new outfit for your Survivor build. Getting this junk is so important to you that you explode in anger if you don't get the fix. Well you know, the first taste is always free. This is a business. You are demanding they give you free stuff. I'm simply pointing out that their very business model is based on selling you the stuff you want for free. Which of us do you truly think sounds more rational?
If you have no skin in the game why do you care so much about the negative feedback 🤔.
@NomiNomad Don't respond to this guy's bait. It's blatantly obvious he's arguing in bad faith.
