Forgot to add the part where there shouldn't be random low hanging vines/branches that you can bump into.
-
Demo who? You mean Greg.
-
Hmm yes simply "snuff the coh", why didn't I think of that? Oh yeah because if I snuff it, it gets replaces by the time I hook the person, even then saying "snuff the coh" like you always know the exact spot they placed it. Even then you waste time going for the boon and by the time you get back the person you just downed could be up since they're in range or someone has WGLF with it.
-
Hmm yes lemme just swing early for a dh for distance. Eitherway they still make the pallet or window. I wouldn't call people complaining about that overreacting. At least a 99'd sprint burst requires some setup and even leaving a gen just to use it in the middle of chase. Also if dh was "really fine".... then why is there perk restrictions in the comp scene?
-
Walking in the m2 cooldown is intentional. If it wasn't it has been a long enough time for it to be corrected.

Since more than often they just spawn next to a survivor and get insta cleansed So at least you would get some value from them.
Oh boy! Can't wait for BHVR to look at this and be like "what if we did this... but in a perk?"

you're wrong. maclean recently stated it's a bug.
hopefully it'll get fixed so you actually need to learn to play
Ive heard the old clip. But idk bout a recent clip. Care to link it for me?
-
It depends on the copywrite holders for NOES. I heard they are very stingy about giving their licenses out.

What? I didn't even say that after all. It's according to my friends out there who doesn't even play anymore dead by daylight because it's the bugs and I'm not being offensive, but it's just the matter of fact.
I said the post above mine which said "this game doesnt really reward you for getting better" and its imbalanced. It was answering the question in the title.
-
Well since mmr is soft capped everyone now is near the same mmr so their "skill based matchmaking" system really doesnt mean anything now .
-
What the post above said also it's so imbalanced it's not fun.
-
Im mean... with how the current survivor meta is you basically need dms and pain resonance.
-
Well it is your fun at the cost of someone elses expense. So why should they allow you to have fun if they have the power to do so? Thats the thing with pvp games, you gotta expect to get in situations like that when you use that kind of build.
-
Well as this does make blight easier to play for bad players... does it really help them improve when they aren't learning on base kit?
-
My back hurts from the amount of times I've back bumped
-
Tbh I love billy but I hate living in the day where people constantly pre drop vs a billy.
-
Same problem as cowshed. Everything is so compact that with every pallet you can make it either to school, shack, house of pain, or the 2 story. Not to mention the god window at school which you have to entity block.
-
The only way to make this work is too make it so when you dc your character model stays so the killer can still down you and hook you but when you join back you're then replace the character model.

Whats funny is I am red rank and Blight is the one killer I rarely see for some odd reason.
I get more huntress and trapper players than Blight.
Prob cause grade doesn't have anything to do with matchmaking anymore.

The addon did get a change. They removed the faster charge the addon was providing despite not being listed on the addon.
But honestly I don't get the hate for this addon. It's only good if the blight is good. And with how many killers have trash addons, it's nice to see some killers have good ones.
The faster recharge time was a bug. It initially in the ptb increased token regen speed but I guess they forgot to take it out when it came to live?

I mean I agree with you, but taking an already clunky killer and making there 1 useful addon worthless is stupid, giving me Freddy addon vibes
I wouldnt say 0.05 seconds off a 0.25 second charge makes it useless. All it really requires is to use it like a demo shred at that point.
-
Exhaustion perks are the last thing that need to be buffed. If anything they need to be nerfed.

Blight isn't fun for both parties. He's a low skill killer that gets to down you the second you leave a loop. And heaven forbid you are in a dead-zone.
He basically an much easier Nurse but with about 95% of the downing potential.
Low skill is definitely something that does NOT fit in with blights criteria.
-
Well that's what happens when the devs make a ridiculous survivor meta where only 3 killers are viable against while one gets disabled cause they're bad at coding.
-
This
-
Because they favor queue times over "balanced" matches.
-
Tbh I'm not trying to be mean but that sounds like a you problem. I am usually fine playing without toy sword on midwich loops.
-
Idk something something noed op. something something "cant expect solo q to do totems".
-
Not intentional. You're not supposed to be able to clip through killers while they vault.
-

How about people play the game as intended and stop trying to find shortcuts and walk-arounds to actually playing the game with your own skill. And if you cant play dbd without lagging then get off mommy's wifi, get a job and buy a decent PC, its not our fault you choose to play on a potato.
A lot easier to say "get better wifi and a better rig" than to actually get one. Especially during these times.
-
Tbh I expected a lot of people to see more blights.
But I find any m1 killer to go against boring as there is very little chase interaction. Not like boring as in they are good just nothing other than hold w around the loop and the occasional mind game.
-
Depends on what you think as "playing like a jerk" on either side. If it means playing to win using any (legal) methods than I guess I'm a jerk
-
Honestly... why dont we bring back 2016 noed to make survivors thankful for the noed we have now?

I honestly don't think trapper is that bad, but maybe that's just my very unpopular opinion idk.
I mean when a killer only becomes good when he gets stuff setup but then his setup can be disabled..... yeah that is an extreme gimmick which inherently isn't supposed to be good.
-
I mean... nothing will change as saving against a billy or bubba will still result in either 1 hook and a down or a trade. Disabling basement really only nerfs trapper even more.
-
There is somewhat of a skill ceiling but you can make up part of it artificially with 2nd chance perks.
-
I think there should be more of a punishment for holding a tape and not putting it in the designated tv. That or make it so when you teleport to a tv the range for condemned is increased to 24 meters and maybe more depending on testing.
-
And I wish I could play other killers without 2 gens popping first chase. But nah oversized maps, horrific gen spread that can't be preassured by no mobility killers, and 3 second chance perks per survivors. Looks like we want the same thing.

Yay ✨mmr✨
So glad we judge skill based on kills and escapes which in turn heavily pushes a playstyle of objective efficiency!!
Honestly a well balanced hockey ruleset.

It's not the losing that bothers me, it's a killer essentially ruining the game for a player(s) by taking them out of the game at the start and essentially wasting that persons time. Game are supposed to be fun aren't they?
That's the thing, games no longer have this "Games are supposed to be fun" thing anymore. That only really applied to single player games i.e. the old sonic games, crash bandicoot etc. Pvp games really shouldn't follow that ideology so closely as in a pvp games it naturally breeds more of a competitive/not fun mindset no matter the game.
You can't logically make a pvp game such as dbd fun for everyone. Their formula just is nothing you can do about unless you make one side too weak. Look at clashroyale, people mald at that over stupidly good/annoying decks. Overall it's not logical to call for a pvp game to "be fun" in the capacity that you want.
-
Idk in a pvp game do you ever really have fun losing when the game isn't built around fun? Like this game can be fun/goofy but 9/10 it's the same chase someone, down them, 1-2 gens get completed, repeat the process. It's very boring and if not just as un-interactive than tunneling someone.
-
Yeah she has map mobility but the one game I played with her on the ptb, it was the same pre drop I can do nothing about and by the time I teleport to a tv someones already running to pre drop another pallet. The only reason I got a 4k was because they made so many mistakes around basement to where if they just ran to finish the last gen they would have easily 3 outted.
-
Tbh all I can hear is "this perk isn't an unbeatable situation anymore so it's bad". It's still good for the 100% wiggle sway.
-
This clip can literally be redundant because Mclean said this months before he left. Whoever is in charge of making blight changes now can think its fine.
-
Pyramid head because i hate how on pc he has his turn rate on the YAW system so i cant really affectively flick.

@JonahsTablet said:
The game is no longer about the "big bad killer" destroying the survivors which is fine, the only issue is that the gap between the best and worst killers is so wide that the game can't be enjoyed by many people who don't want to dedicate hundreds of hours to get ok at a character.
The ONLY time this has ever been the case was in 2017 before SWF got added. Other than that survivors have always had an edge over killers and had to continuedly get nerfed just for more than 1-2 killers to kind of compete. Which right now is almost in a better spot. If they touch up on some map sizes, perks, killers etc. they can at least make the game enjoyable to play for more than 3 killers.
-
Nice suggestion, unfortunately if it isn't as busted as DH means in a minority of players eyes it equals not worth using. AKA when boil over got nerfed you started seeing it maybe every 10 matches compared to every match. Just because they can't go to a height with no mither and boil over anymore and just get guaranteed escapes.
-
Its funny because them patching stretched is inadvertently promoting FOV configs which is actually cheating.
-
My only theory is that to why they arent cheating is, they are looking up on their screen but since they're attacking off cooldown it doesnt show their head looking up in time for the next swing.

you shouldnt take everything so serious, I doubt ppl like this are meaning it literally, no one says that ppl like this are compeltly unable to play. He is just exaggeration in terms of a joke like jeez no one is attacking you personally so calm down.
? I was just making a harmless and somewhat humorous comment. Idk how you took that as me "taking is personally". Also people do actually think like that, I mainly see them on youtube where they comment on random videos where there's stretched res clips. They don't even seem like they know the person because they never get any form of interaction other than a dismissive response.
