Biography might be a bit much, but in their previous ask us anything someone asked about customizing backpacks/accessories/legendary characters and their response was that they may be interested in implementing that in the future
I think it wouldnt take that much effort to write a quick Bio for the legendary characters, they all have VERY unique stories compared to the base skin and deserve to be their own person.
If I was an intern at Behaviour I could write up all the biographies of legendary characters in like 1 afternoon. -
This is how survivors look when they are mori'd by The Dark Lord, this is just the default death pose.
Please change it to the position they are in from the Mori. (Slouched over after bleeding from their throat) -

I get that this perk was originally added during a period of DBD when gen rushing was at an all time high, killers werent overperforming, and loop adjustments were being made to balance some of the really crazy loops on certain maps. However, we are 3 years out from that period and the game is incredibly different now. Most loops have been rendered useless by overpowered anti-loop killer mechanics, gen speeds are slower than ever, healing is almost pointless unless another survivor has a med kit or it wastes too much time. Why has this perk not been reworked?
Mostly used on fast or ranged killers, it gives the killer knowledge of every survivors location at the start of a match unless they are running distortion. Distortion is a bad counter to this because killers have so many aura reading perks and add-ons now that no survivor should run distortion, ever, because it will eat up your stacks. Fast. On killers like Blight or Nurse, they are gonna get to their first survivor within seconds of the match starting. With most loops rendered useless, survivors dont even have time to start their first generator without someone being downed. Then youve got ranged killers like Huntress that can get their first down before survivors have even had a chance to look for a generator. Thats crazy.
Doesnt it also defeats the purpose of the game? The killer should be spawning in and have to find survivors on their own. Its literally part of the killer experience and just giving it to them is kinda…dumb. Id be OK with the perk as is in terms of aura reading if it came at some type of cost, but right now its just a free 100% aura read at the start of the match. With no downside. In fact, it even buffs other perks and aura-reading add ons! I think this perk deserves a second glance and its time for a rework of some type.Killers literally have to waste 1 perk slot on the perk that deactivates for the rest of the game after the first 10 seconds of the game…

That's right, I don't have the right to decide that. Because, a decent player realizes that this is something they should not do, which is why we often don't see such bad actions in tournaments, as well as in high-sub channels. Just like not being a hatch player, not being a holding-hostage player is respecting your teammates' and killers' experience.

Ya, it's true 😎. I took a screenshot of a reply above:
Stop projecting. We arent tournament players restricted by ridiculous rules and we arent streamers trying meme builds or having fun with donation builds, we are ordinary players playing the game we paid for. Its not up for you to decide what is and isnt "decent" behavior. You play the game your way, I will play the game my way.

And once yet again, WHO ARE YOU TO DECIDE WHATS "DECENT", when somone plays a videogame it isnt about morality or being a good/bad person, its about playing a videogame. We are not in a tournament, we are not in a stream, we are ordinary players, THE MAJORITY OF PLAYERS, just trying to play the videogame we bought.
The sooner players like you realize that your gaming experience wont be catered to by everyone else, the sooner the community will become a less toxic place. -

I play both sides:
- As a killer, I don't do bad play, many times I do mercy in the late game. I know how survivors feel if I camp, tunnel and 'KnockOut' slug them.
- As a survivor, I still do gen and rescue even when I'm in phase 2 and injured, I'm not a hatch player or survive alone (ignore teammates, holding the game hostage). I know how killers feel if survivors want to hold the game hostage or play as hatch players: "Wth is going on, where are they? Why doesn't anyone do gens?".
You know what I mean?
Bad things are on both sides. And BHVR should have a mechanism to encourage players not to perform such acts.
I agree that those are the solutions when dealing with bully SWF teams (which only account for a low % of all your trials). But if you abuse it in every single match, it has a totally different meaning.
Read more answers here which I replied to 'Reinami'.

It's not up to you to decide whats "bad" or not. That players problem…they think the only right way to do something is THEIR way.
-
The way I see it, its just another way to play the game. Maybe the player got bored of hooking or dealing with hooks so they elected to play a different way.
There is no RIGHT way to play killer, the goal of killer is to…kill. If they can manage to bleed you out then I say good on them for being ingenuitive.
What it seems like is that YOU just dont like being on the receiving end of it. -
Whats even the point of this thread? You sound immature and naive, layoff happens, a company is a company at the end of the day.

man, I think we are talking about 2 different achievements, we are talking about a survivor achievement
Yeah I recently got that one too like an hour later, the achievements are not an issue, you get em when you get em.
-
I got the achievement in my 2nd game as The Lich and I didnt even know it was an achievement.

Well the tendency on PC (the only visible stats we have) is going down rapidly. 25% loss of regular player count since October (even 40% when compared to the anniversary peak in July) seems kinda serious, independent of the reasons. And the trend doesn't seem to change. Maybe we will see an increase with the ringu chapter but the artist only brought a temporary hold and no positive trend change.
Or maybe stop looking at steam charts to dictate whether or not a game is dying, here's a thought; Steam isnt the only platform where games are played.
-
Stop exaggerating. People have been saying what you are saying for years and its never true, just personal opinions due to that person not enjoy a certain aspect of the game. Dead By daylight is available through Steam, Epic Games Store, Playstation, Switch, Xbox, Mobile......this is one of the most popular games worldwide, yes worldwide.
Just because you aren't enjoying it right now doesn't mean there isn't someone downloading it as you speak. Stop with the doomsday posts, they do nothing but make you look like a disgruntled player.

A lot easier to say "get better wifi and a better rig" than to actually get one. Especially during these times.
You shouldn't be playing on wifi at all, if you aren't playing online games with an ethernet connection, you are doing it wrong.
-
How about people play the game as intended and stop trying to find shortcuts and walk-arounds to actually playing the game with your own skill. And if you cant play dbd without lagging then get off mommy's wifi, get a job and buy a decent PC, its not our fault you choose to play on a potato.

Because not all survivors want to use 4 second chances. Why so aggressive?
Yet majority of them do...funny how that works huh?

How to spot and entitled survivor main: They complain about tunneling/camping.
These people have access to Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, Unbreakable, Exponential, Circle of Healing, Borrowed Time, Kindred and so much more tools at their disposal yet will complain about a strategy that the killers use in order to increase their chances of winning.
Its not the killers job to make sure you have "fun" you entitled survivors, its the killers job to SPOILER: Kill you. If you want wholesome fun go play checkers or tic-tac-toe or better yet, how about you just git gud?

Feedback on The Onryo so far;
-Condemned status is too slow to progress and depletes too much.
Thats it lol, the only issue im finding with the killer is that actually killing with ability takes too too too too long, the TV's can also be tweaked to increase their radius of applying condemned I feel or have it so that theres always 1 tv in the vicinity of a generator since thats the only way her projection power will get condemn stacks.
Alternatively making it so survivors gain condemn in other ways would also work id say.
