I played some custom games a few days back and they worked. No idea on what's happening there.

Wiretap doesnt need a buff it just needs to work with open-handed because it seems not to work with it
They said it's intended to not work with open handed

Imagine killer being exhausted ๐คฃ
Killer will break pallets and gens slowly

You can't lose the game if the survivors don't know your goals, what if my goal is to rancor the little goblin that stole basement chest
That's how I play. Let's say that my goal is to do a Tome quest. They can all escape and I still win because I got my goal

Did Devs actually said anything about looking on some killers?
I missed this "maybe-Informations" entirely. If yes, is there a link?
In this video at the minute 1:01:08 they talk about Twins.
-
As survivor, I accidentally pressed the crouch button 2 times behind a box to hide from the killer. The killer saw me doing that so I run. I got facecamped because of that and the killer said "nice teabag". People take it a bit too personally.
-
I feel the same but with Feng, Dwight or Kate screams.
-
That's unfortunate.
-
You can give survivors all the info you want, but if they're bad there's nothing you can do about it.

Can confirm that the perk is Self Care - and thank you for flagging this.

A mate could 99 heal us and then we use self care to finish our heal, easy right :')
Good luck if killer has sloppy :D

I hope it means we can use any perk and not self care ๐
Since we had Claudette challenges, I'm scared to say it's self-care. Good luck wasting time ๐
-
It doesn't say 2 different survivors. It can also be the same I believe.
-
@jajapinkpeach said:
Can't we use a medkit to heal ourself once and take one random perk and get out ?
The problem is that the perk should be written there. But instead of the name of the perk, it says 1
-
As survivor, I barely ever used dead hard and (shockingly) nothing changed to me. Only thing I noticed is that many survivors give up on first hook after trying to use dead hard. They got carried by it for too long so they have no idea on how to calculate the right distance in loops. They're now learning how to play and they don't like it.
I actually like the way dead hard works now. But still I'm not gonna use it as often since there are way more interesting perk combos than the usual boring one.
-
In case you need it.
-
@ThiccClaud said:
Enfury is a stupid combo anyways. I would compare it to old dead hard as in its an killers making a mistake but compensating with perks. Spirit fury is boring gameplay especially with certain killers. It doesnt need a buff
It's nowhere near comparable with old dead hard. Sometimes the killer will force you to drop the pallet on him by trying to hit you as you're on a pallet. If a survivor pre drops every pallet, you just wasted 2 perks.
-
They probably won't touch the bloodweb for a very long time.

This isn't an answer but I think anonymous mode is great. Turned on all the settings and now I play every single match the queue gives me.
No urges to lobby dodge, no checking profiles etc.
Same. I just turned off the Random Matchmaking Delay since it's useless for me. Other than that I love this mode.
-
Or they could make a match lasting 30 mins max with a timer on top of your screen.
-
Just use DS and Off the Record. Not only you waste killer's time but you also have another health state for free. If you pair all of that with Dead hard you can become a tank. You get hit with off the record, you try to force DS and then you also use Dead Hard since you're not in Deep Wounds anymore.
-
It isn't bannable but it should be. You can use it as killer to get hits from a mile away on the Survivor's POV.
-
When I use the bloodweb, my PC screams. When I'm in a match, my PC screams much less. Something weird is going in ๐ค
-
Yeah but how about me having 1000 hours and getting paired with people who have close to 100 hours? Literally prestige 0 Dwight hiding in a locker and getting grabbed or prestige 0 Claudette selfcaring in a corner Vs Legion with sloppy. Basing MMR on kills and Escapes ONLY isn't not a good idea, never has been. I can Facecamp as Bubba and gaining MMR by doing nothing or I can hide all game as baby Claudette and then escape.
Every good survivor will die because they loop the killer for too long and the killer decides to secure the kill by tunneling the good player out of the game.
-
-
You're not getting tunneled or slugged with the killer nodding at you EVERY single match since the update. You're just wrong. If you die it doesn't mean you got tunneled.
I suggest you to play a bit of killer and see the experience by yourself. You'll regret sometimes if you don't tunnel someone out.
-
Just don't try to spin the killer on your first hit. I see many survivors spinning on first hit. As they get hit, they lose a big amount of their sprint burst, thus making them lose distance. You just have to run forward. Killer has to farm those stacks. It's not free. High reward for farming stacks seems ok to me.

I play on steam and no, they don't have chest physics in any outfit, just look closely
You dirty boi
-
Old dead hard was very unfair for the killer. You just pressed a button to dodge the hit and gain free distance. Now it feels like the survivor has to predict when the killer is going to attack. It feels much better now.
-
I agree. Sometimes you have all scourges on one side of the map where you'll never hoon anyone and sometimes you hook survivors only at scourges. It's all or nothing. Maybe a better logic would make more sense.
-
I little reminder that there's a nurse challenge in the new Tome.
-
Most survivors were stunning the killer for 5 seconds at the pallet and then tbagging him, blinding him and stunning him again for 2 extra seconds with a pallet. Now, if you want to get 5 seconds stun, just stun him at a pallet again so you can tbag him ;)

The question is, how?
If you have high killer/low survivor or vice-versa, and both are in need of players, how does it determine where to apply the bonus? Why not both at once?
Individual killers have different MMR. How does it know to apply the bonus to killers? My Pyramid MMR is through the roof, my Huntress MMR is through the floor, and yet a killer bonus applies to both of them. How?
Time of day and region are the 2 I can see really affected it. I don't logistically see how MMR can impact this current implementation.
That's a good question actually. I wonder if a Dev may comment on this. If all killers have their own MMR, how does the bonus apply. Maybe it's based on the total players playing killer? No idea
-
@TheArbiter said:
I understand the bonus is definitely by at least region, but is it also based off of your sbmm?
The bonus is based off MMR, time of day and region.
-
I don't see it happening, sadly. Too many toxic people, all the racial slurs and death threats coming out of the voice chat would be just horrible.
"Just mute the chat". Muting it won't solve the main problem. So no.
-
Sadly I don't see that happening.
-
I'm surprised that some Myers add-ons have survived all the nerfs to killer over the year.

My issue with that is blight, oni, billy, and nurse all cover much greater distances just as fast if not faster than him. So by that logic all of them should have 40 meter terror radiuses too.
Blight needs to bounce off stuff, Billy you hear the chainsaw revving even when you're in the other side of the map, same goes for the Oni that you can hear when he starts the dash. Nurse you hear blinks.
-
If they bring snowmen back, they need to count a snowman hit as a missed attack and not as successful attacks. It seems very silly that you get a slowdown for not damaging the survivor. The survivors didn't get speed boost off of that, but you shouldn't get the slowdown either.
-
I'm not a Dev but I may try to give my personal explanation. He can cover a big distance with his power in a very short amount of time. If his terror radius was smaller, survivors probably wouldn't have a chance to know if the killer was going in their direction or not. Imagine if he had a 32 meter radius and you slapped on him Monitor and Abuse (reduce your terror radius while not in chase). It wouldn't have been a nice experience to play against in my opinion

According to SteamDB....and the game is currently (as always) in the top percentile on Xbox/PSN metric sites.
RIP game :(
I guess Year 7 is the Death Knell!
If you can find a match within seconds (as survivor) and a couple of minutes (as killer) does it make it a dead game at all? I don't think so. You probably never played a dead game where you can never find a lobby, where it takes over 15 minutes to get into a match and the game says "you didn't find anyone, do you want to queue again or go back to main menu?"

Actually while in the lobby I saw that and thought they were a SWF squad waiting to switch to Nea+flashlight squad at the last second
If I knew they were real noobs I would have dodged, pointless game, and I wasted a good offering
I get your feeling. I also don't want to go Vs complete brand new players but not even the best of the best of survivors comp squads. Just something in between, that's why I play for hooks and for Tome Challenges. It's much less stressful.

What do you mean? MMR is required to enjoy truly balanced matches like this one:

(I waited 15+ minutes in queue so I think matchmaking just gave up and took the first survivors it could find)
4 Bill, now that's an experience I can't miss

Imagine trying to drum up sympathy for DEAD HARD.
The nerf to Decisive Strike form 5 seconds to 3 was far, far worse.
Getting stunned for 5 seconds by looking at your arm isn't the best feeling. Most survivors used the 5 seconds to teabag at me and then stun me with the pallet for 2 more seconds, it just wasn't good. Now, if you want 5 full seconds, make sure to use DS at a pallet so you can get 3 seconds stun from the perk and 2 seconds stun from the pallet if you really need 5 seconds
-
I usually never disconnect because it's stupid to screw over your teammates. But if you leave me on the ground after 2 people gave up in the first minute, you're calling it ๐
Why would you drag a match for so long with only 2 people remaining and 5 gens still up?
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
First of all, this would just mean that every Survivor would just try their 3 escapes, because they have nothing to lose.
Second, if someone does not want to play, stop trying to make them play. At best they will be AFK after the unhook, at worst they are sandbagging their team. People who want to go out of the match should just be allowed to leave, there is no point in keeping them.
Fine. Then I'll make sure to keep them in the match as long as possible.
-
@Hex_Ignored said:
But then everyone would just have 3 free attempts to unhook themselves. You would be dumb not to take those. Every survivor would have the chance to unhook themselves with no draw back.
I just want to have a normal game where nobody gives up. Yesterday in the afternoon it's been horrible to play as killer because of this.
-
That's latency. Survivor is vaulting on your screen but the server sees that he's still in vaulting animation.
-
If a killer disconnects, survivors can just move on to next match. If a survivor disconnects, the other survivors and the killer need to waste their time knowing how the match will end

There is some sort of bug going on with incentives. I was playing with my friend yesterday, we are in the same region and our MMR has to be about the same because we escape and die together, and we always both showed a BP bonus but sometimes both of us got it and sometimes one of us didn't.
For me it's working even with a group (I play on PC) but maybe for you it's not working at all. It's a matter of time for them to fix all the issues with it. I can understand what you're saying, tho.
