Scalped Topknot.
Being able to whip out the Dash that fast has helped me before in chases.
-
Wraith double Shadow Dance & Brutal Strength, Fire Up & Spirit Fury (+Enduring recommended) is pretty meme.
Breaking them that fast is awesome, but being cloaked for it removes almost all potential.

There, i did it. ๐

The questions were mostly just examples to get the gears turning, but I appreciate the response all the same. Would you be able to elaborate on what sort of cosmetics influence your opinion of a player, and in what ways?
Bright ones, stuff that stands out.
To me, it's a clear indicator that they're very confident in their ability to loop, and probably use at least 3/4 "meta" Perks.
My opinion on them doesn't change, they're just another player like anyone else and my gameplay doesn't change depending on what they wear.
I simply expect them to be different from normally-dressed players.
-
Red Moss.
Don't play Demogorgon a lot at all, but this just sounds crazy good.
-
I'll simply answer those questions in your 2nd paragraph.
- No.
- No.
- Character no, cosmetics yes.
- No.
- Because then i'd have to make lots of exceptions every match, i want consistency.
-
Wish i had your luck.
-
The bad often stands out more than the good, and i prefer it that way cause of course you want to address the bad.
But if we had the knowledge of today & the 2016 version of the game, the game would be an absolute trainwreck.
So yeah, i'd say it's certainly balanced enough.
-
There are VERY few Charms that i actually like the looks of.
Fortunately, there are just enough that i like for me to actually have them on.
So yes, both my Survivors & Killers have all Charm slots filled.
-
Yay, another Wraith man!
I get VERY bored playing Trapper. I can handle a few matches to get my Daily Rituals/Tome Challenges, but i can't play that guy consistently without a goal set up for me.

It's confirmed to be a licensed chapter by now btw. Leaked Code (which I'm not sure I'm allowed to discuss here?) and an article published by Bloody Disgusting have already confirmed it.
So i've heard.
Got nothing against any specific license joining btw (as long as they're not stupid asf ones, like Hello Kitty ๐คฃ), i simply prefer to get new Killers who i know nothing about.

It feels really good maxing out all your characters though.
That differs from person to person.
I used to when there were less Killers, but the feeling was still close to nothing.
-
It's not been much different, still enjoying it, and enjoying it more than Survivor.
-
I've always liked the new guys more.
-
Never gonna.
Way too much BP spent for bloody clothes that i'll never wear on characters i'll barely play.
-
Nah, i'm good without.
-
Whichever is used the most, i dislike.
I like seeing all kinds of Survivors, so when i see a squad of Claudettes, i'm bored.
-
Readying up.

Good idea!
(just out of curiosity, was it easier to edit the charm into your slot instead of equipping it?)
When i thought of the idea, i didn't think of taking a screenshot of me having it equipped.
I quit the game after taking 1 screenshot, which i then simply used for all pictures here.
Since i was already in paint.net by the time i realized i want it equipped in a slot, i figured it's now faster to edit it in instead of booting the game up again just for that.
But yes, simply equipping it would've been easier i guess, though neither are difficult.

I mean, the last rifts were for events. This is just one in the middle of the year.
Last 2 Rifts had empty spaces too.

@hagling said:
it's literally the free track they're giving you that stuff just for playing, i really don't get this. i have a very minimal income and i can easily recycle $10 from one rift to the next to the next, if you wanna be frugal you're paying $10 essentially for endless rifts full of outfits and charms that would cost much more sold separately in the store.
or you're not paying anything and you're still getting free stuff, again, just for playing. I think it'd be generous if the devs put s'more filler in the free track, maybe throw in a few more recolors and all the people who don't wanna pay to support dbd can just have those, but to suggest it's corporate greed that they're not giving you enough free stuff is a bit much for me.
I'm not ignoring getting free stuff, that's great.
Not what this discussion is about though...
-
Slightly bad.
The difference would not be felt a lot, but because it's ~8 - ~17% less, i can't say it wouldn't be bad at all.

Ah, thanks for that, I wasn't sure if I had to report my own post or pray to the Nurse goddess up there.
They won't always take the time to do so though, cause there's probably better things to do, or they're already in the middle of something.
-
I don't even know if the main Perks i use are considered second chance.
Kindred, Iron Will, Self Care, Spine Chill.
If none of those are 2nd chance, then yes.
But i'd honestly have a hard time giving up any of these.
-
Btw people, i know i myself started with a Perk, but if there's a (popular) Add-on you dislike, that can be mentioned too.
I don't care for Iridescent Heads, for example.
Powerful, but i like having 5 Hunting Hatchets, and adding Infantry Belt makes it quite the expensive build to use frequently.
-
I'd like to see this...
- Survivors can't die in the 2nd phase unless their 2nd phase health bar has completely depleted, which will still follow the established rules. (Meaning they'll still die if it runs out after the 60 seconds, if they're the last one hooked it'll deplete immediately, if everyone is in the 2nd phase or dead it'll also deplete immediately, etc.)
- Small(ish) Skill Checks without Great Success Zones appear every 3 seconds or so.
- Hitting them will grant you 50/100 Bloodpoints in the Survival category.
- Failing them will grant you 0 Bloodpoints.
- Not even attempting to hit them for longer than 10/15 seconds will result in the Entity trapping the Survivor & Hook in Entity Legs, making it impossible to save them.
- Furthermore, their 2nd phase health bar stops depleting, keeping them there.
- This effect can be removed by simply hitting the Skill Check that they've been ignoring thus far, though it'll take about ~5 seconds for the Entity Legs to fully retreat.
- While trapped, all Auras are turned off & all sounds are extremely muffled, but not completely silent.
- A specific situation: If there are 2 alive, 1 of them is trapped on a Hook & the other found the closed Hatch, by pressing the button you normally press to jump into the Hatch, it'll fling open, you do the jumping animation, and at the same time, the Entity starts killing the trapped Survivor.
There are probably more problems with this idea, but i hope those could be solved somehow, this was mainly thought up to make suiciding less appealing, but not fully stop it, as that's most likely impossible.

deliverence. unless you know your allies are #########/playing in a 4swf its so hard to use effectively.
Is it popular though?
I know it generally has a positive opinion among people, but actually using it isn't something i often see.

If you want them to delete this, you need to tag them.
Like so: @Peanits
-
Getting it all back quicker with Etched Ruler.
-
Hacking, cheating, bodyblocking with the intent to hold hostage, Survivor(s) actively playing for the other team.
Mmmm, not much else really.
-
Track Hex: Devour Hope for me pls.
- How many times it got cleansed at 0 Tokens.
- How many times it got cleansed at 1 Token.
- How many times it got cleansed at 2 Tokens.
- How many times it got cleansed at 3 Tokens.
- How many times it got cleansed at 4 Tokens.
- How many times it got cleansed at 5 or more Tokens.
- How many times it survived the entire match, no matter the match's results.
- How many times you triggered Hex: Devour Hope's +5% movement speed bonus.
- How many times you put them from the Healthy Health State into the Dying Health State using Hex: Devour Hope's 3-Token bonus.
- How many times you directly killed a Survivor using Hex: Devour Hope's 5-Token bonus.
Btw, this is not serious.

But atleast you (probably) actually save teamates or can run the killer for some time not just urban evade around 24/7
Actually, my incentive to save people is pretty low, thanks to Kindred, which is now standard on me.
As soon as someone's hooked, i often see someone go and help, so i stay on my Generator/Totem.
If no one's going, i will go though, since i know you can play this game as if you're a lone wolf, but your fellows can eat a lot of the Killer's time.
I can run Killers okay as long as they're my rank or lower, but you probably won't see me hop from loop to loop.
This might just be a coincidence, but i'm pretty good at losing them in corn, better than any other sort of high grass. (Swamp grass, Yamaoka grass, etc.)
But no, i don't just crouch around, and i think i last used Urban Evasion in mid 2017.
The Perk is good though, but i like others more, mainly not any "meta" Perks though.
-
Preferences differ.
I really dislike looping, and if i get caught, i want out of that chase ASAP.
-
Sure?
Neat i guess, i just wouldn't look at it much.
-
Idk, ask the Survivors i face.
They keep being super-high ranks, and i'm still late green/early purple.
-
Never.
-
Dirty Uwabaki.
Just like Wraith's Windstorms, going zoom zoom across the map just feels nice.
-
You can blind a Killer at any time, but the Killer won't let go of a Survivor during picking-up.
This was once the case, and it was a disaster.

You replied in my do bones vs just slug discussion isnt that about noed?
Exceptions exist. ๐
Besides, I myself didn't actually talk about it, just the Totems.

This rift is actually pretty good, it improves every time. A lot of the charms are less tacky and more realistic killer belongings in this one, I love most of them. The challenges are nu.berous enough fof both sides at last too. They should do their pass mord like ghe one in Magic arena in terms of payouts but it's good enough now
Hah, I just so happen to not care for any of these Charms, and find the last one to be the least appealing of the final Charms so far. ๐
-
Well, i do kinda like finding Totems...
-
Don't regret my 2.5k hours one bit.
-
Lol, we now officially have the maximum difference possible on paper.
If this doesn't make fixing matchmaking priority #1, idk what could.

I see you on every post, damn.
Trust me, i skip lots of discussions.
For example, every day, there's at least 1 new discussion about Hex: No One Escapes Death.
I get tired of talking about it.
-
Ooh, good one.
I guess i'd still go with my main Perks for Wraith: Barbecue & Chili, Make Your Choice, Pop Goes The Weasel, Enduring.
Then add Hex: Devour Hope, for the potential.
And add Spirit Fury, to sync with Enduring of course.
