yeah a lot of things don't need alternatives, yet we still have them for variety. I don't see how this is a problem, it encourages doing secondary objectives. and I didn't realize potentially countering noed wasnt "vital" to your survival
It indeed isn't vital, stealth already easily counters it.
Have done so times before, can do it again. (While sometimes failing of course, only human.)
The problem that you don't see is that the Hex weakness only becomes weaker, while it's weak enough already.
5 Hex Perks don't need this extra weakness right now.
Ask for buffs to Totems, then we can come back to this.
Nerfing it for the sake of variety should come along with buffs to it as well.
-
Uhmm, sure?
I know i wouldn't care.
In fact, if they have time to make this, i'd rather they focus on making more Mori animations.
But if there's enough demand, then sure? 🙄
-
Because you want to believe, and hope.

I'm kinda sad he can't come out of Lockers.
I can imagine it: Blood sprays out in the gap between the 2 doors and from the little barred see-throughs on each door.
Then the doors fly open, showering blood in front of the Locker and he walks out all badass-like, doors closing behind him automatically.

healing takes 2 seconds longer and we have many items/addons/perks to speed that up. I don't see why not, no one ever sabos so it'd be a nice alternative to the main toolbox use
It doesn't need an alternative, it's already a giant help in your main goal.
Healing has those things cause they're vital to your survival.
-
With that logic, why can't you just kick over the Totem.
You can't use the Toolbox because they're already so easy to cleanse it's laughable.
-
At the very least, i know i'll like the Generator-teleport, and the fake Pallets.
And i'm gonna dislike the snares or whateve
Too soon to judge anything else.
-
Told ya'.
-
I'm glad there's more options.
For example, imagine finding the first 4 Killers to be mediocre to you in terms of fun, but then the Shape comes out and you love it.
-
So then only play SWF.
No one's forcing you to do something you don't like. 😊
-
It being random will suck more and more with every Perk added to the rotation.

You have fallen victim to the classical trap of virtual currency.
Hopefully you will have the patience to wait for either a skin sale (like they're even gonna happen hahaha) or a new skin that's better AND cheaper.
I didn't fall, i know this tactic.
Knowing it doesn't reduce my anger at the tactic though.

Maybe you can use them for the battlepass assuming you want it. Anyhow I'm curious what is this particular weapon you want?
@Rex_Huin Sorry, i confused myself, it's the one with the black skull.

Wraith's last weapon that i don't have yet.
Don't know the name, but it's shaped like 3/4th of a square.

What makes you think will you have to wait another year for something you want?
You're right, i should assume it won't come, so i'll be pleasantly surprised when it does come.
I said that because that's how it's been so far.

Well. Lets say the map editor is to be kept simple. What would be needed?
Choosing which objects can go in a tile
- Basic stuff in every map: "waist-high-loop-stuff" "jungle-gym-walls", hills, trees
- Killer shack, buildings (would say only buildings that are only available in the game in a simple map editor instead of crafting those from scatch)
- Location markers for hooks, chests, pallets and theother procedually generated stuff, like closed windows.
Youd need to create a certain number of tiles for the rng to chose from
Then for the actual map editor, you would create a grid out of either random tiles and predetermined tiles (shack and buildings, the big tree for xample). Ohright, choosing a realm to determine the color of the lighting.
Or something like that.
Also i think maps would need to be officially approved to be to be added into the game (kyf might be an exception)
Choosing a realm wouldn't be limited to the lighting.
They're not gonna allow Haddonfield houses in Coldwind Farm or cow trees in The Game.
Once you have a realm, you'll also have selected your wall types, objects, etc.

Honestly Id love to mori someone differently it wraith, seriously three swings? That's all i get?
Mori animations are a different issue.

Wrong.
@Carlosylu I'd love to see my Wraith in 3rd person.
Shouldn't be too hard either, just copy the Survivor's perspective and paste it on the Killer's perspective.
Probably doesn't work that way though, but there shouldn't be much additional work.
-
I like the blue jacket and hat.
All his pants are boring though.
No Chainsaw skins either, sad.
-
Kinda dislike that the name has pretty much nothing to do with the power now.
Wish it could be something like: The more Generators are repaired, the harder the Skill Checks get.
-
For all we know, they LIKE Totem hunts.

It's fine.

this existed for a while
All the worse.
-
Not big, but I grabbed a Jake out of a Locker.
After he DCd, I had normal Killer control, but the "Carry a Survivor" music kept playing until I stopped carrying an other one.
-
I did that 2 matches ago.
It's not a standard though, they have to be royally screwed over by fellow Survivors for me to consider that.
-
Pretty serious.
Remove pls.
-
Experiencing maps is actually very different.
You might learn the lay-outs, but the feel is just different.
I used to see a lot of comments saying you should try the other side to learn how people play them, and i think that applies here as well.
Not to learn them, but to learn how they see the map.
-
No problem.
I'm certain i'm forgetting some stuff, but you should be good for now. 😋
Also, i'm sure you know, but he's not the greatest.
He's definitely stronger now, but y'know.
Oh, here's an obvious tip: While he CAN make use of them, in general, "Terror Radius" Perks are just bad on him.
-
I probably started waiting because i burned out not too long ago.
It was non-stop DbD for 1500 hours (not all in one session of course), then it went REAL slow-like. @Kilmeran
-
That's all i can think of for now.*
Editing comments is close to impossible with how the website is currently.
-
@Kilmeran Try to uncloak from nearby objects if possible, especially tall objects.
They might hear you and see your shimmer, but you can land some solid hits with your movement speed after uncloaking.
If possible, deny their access to loops by aiming for the loop entrance instead for the Survivor.
Windstorm is his best Add-on series if you ask me, applying pressure is way better with even just "Windstorm" - Mud.
Don't take obvious routes when patrolling Generators, which are the "going straight for a Generator" routes.
Even if they know you're Wraith, they can't know from which side you come unless you give away your general direction by hooking someone, having your aura be revealed, etc.
Wraith's Add-on arsenal is versatile.
While i said Windstorm is his best to me, there's definitely more good Add-ons than bad ones.
For example, this isn't much, but Blink is nice to get back into your cloak and thus regain your movement speed.
While he has tools to prevent loops, he's probably one of the weakest Killers once he's in a loop.
The only tool he has for loops is the rattle noise he makes when starting to cloak.
It's the same noise he makes before he swings his main weapon, so they might think you want to hit them.
If they drop the Pallet early, it worked.
If they didn't, instead of actually swinging, missing and wasting time, you now keep your movement speed and probably get a free hit.
Hiding behind objects is also good to counter Flashlight users, which are your arch-nemesis of course.
Don't just approach them, they'll burn you good.
If you see them calmly walk away from you as you approach them and uncloak, warning: They absolutely have Sprint Burst.
They're saving it so they can use it once you're out of the cloak and thus deny you your big hit.
Just stop uncloaking once you're almost uncloaked, they'll start running.
Then just follow them, keeping your movement speed and uncloak once you're caught up.
"Faraway" Perks work really well on him, like Make Your Choice, Pop Goes The Weasel, Devour Hope, Barbecue & Chili, etc.
"Main Weapon" Perks as well, like Sloppy Butcher & Save The Best For Last.
That's all i can think of fo

I used to blindly support them, but now i prefer to wait at least a week, then check out EVERYTHING in the DLC before buying it, then buy it, if i decide to that is.

I started using it recently as Legion.
7/10 matches I killed at least 2 survs with it. ( in those other 3 matches ,the survs spawned right next to the totem so :))))))
Guess people dont expect DH anymore xD
@Andreyu44 That's the great thing about it: The less people use it, the less people will expect it.
I main Wraith, and Spine Chill would destroy me BECAUSE i don't think they have it BECAUSE i never see it.
-
Making Devour Hope work.
That's it.

Thank you guys, i will consider all of your suggestions! <3
One question: What do you think about the addon "All Seeing Blood" ?
Definitely worthy of being a Very Rare.
-
"hoping it wouldn't be abused"
It's THIS community we're talking about. 🤣
-
Oh, i might want the monster from Cloverfield.
You'll be gigantic, but i bet you could still get pallet-stunned. 🤣
-
Maybe something from Binding of Isaac.
Enough disgusting ######### in that game.
-
Well, according to @Peanits , the devs listen to feedback a LOT.
So maybe if you make a petition and it gets a LOT of comments, maybe you can make something happen, perhaps, possibly?
-
Love playing Wraith, especially as Sonic Wraith.
Blocking windows is somehow satisfying, cause normally you can't even though it seems like you should be able to pull off tricks like that since you got that movement speed bonus at base.
Favorite to go against is Trapper.
I can't seem to face him seriously, i just follow him, disable Bear Traps and try to hide whenever he comes to see.
-
I hope they can make him strong.
Cause spraying blood like that is pretty rad, gotta admit.
-
Wraith and Trapper are fantastic (and free) Killers to start with.
They are as basic as Killers can be, while their Powers can still be used in different ways than just "Place Bear Trap at Pallet" or "Cloak immediately to regain movement speed".
For example, you can be like: "Hey, they probably don't expect a Bear Trap here." or "If i cloak now, i can block that window and get a hit in."
-
I'm not saying this is the strongest, as i play moreso for fun, but this should help you anyway.
- Add-on 1: "Windstorm" - Blood / White / Mud (Gotta go fast.)
- Add-on 2: "Windstorm" - White / Mud(Gotta go fast.)
- Perk 1: Barbecue & Chili (Great for him, since he can move fast to faraway auras.)
- Perk 2: Save The Best For Last / Hex: Devour Hope (H: DH is my favorite Perk hands down, managing to get it to work is extremely satisfying to me. STBFL for when i'm not in the mood to try H: DH.)
- Perk 3: Enduring (Great Perk on its own, amazing with Spirit Fury.)
- Perk 4: Spirit Fury (Okay on its own, amazing with Enduring.)

Its what I'd call a relative crutch perk since there are plenty of survivors that struggle greatly with it.
In turn that will result in a longer game and more time for the killer to kill.
Some people struggling with it doesn't make it a crutch, especially not when this crutch is one of the few abilities with the easiest counter.
-
If you say Ruin doesn't do much, then it can't possibly be a crutch Perk, not to you at least.
A crutch Perk is what can be used by casuals to gain more power while it would overpower skilled players.
If Ruin doesn't only do little, but also does little regardless of skill, it's nothing like a crutch Perk.
