I play Dead By Daylight on Xbox and on PC and I got the chapter for Xbox the same day it came out while barely getting the chapter for PC yesterday and playing blight on PC makes him in my opinion a B+ to an A tier Killer. He has better mobility and flicking on pc because of higher sensitivity and the fact that you’re on a mouse. It’s a shame because on console you can’t flick or turn super sharp like you would on pc and I wish the devs would see how he is on console because he’s so terrible on console but I love him on pc. I might consider even getting an outfit for him on pc. Please Devs look into his handicaps on console.
Dude exactly the thread I just made! Behaviour needs to do something! I use a controller on my pc cause I always have for comfort, so I'm screwed too. More people need to complain.

I've spent the last week helping people. I'm taking a thread off to blow off a little of that steam.
I think the issue is controller users. Ill try him with mouse n keys and see what happens. If so then they need to fix that #########

So you're playing on console? I really don't think it's possible on consoles. Atleast I'm not sure.
No pc but I use controller. Always have. That sucks man. They need to fix that

If you look carefully, you can see him turn a bit while rushing towards the girl and then immediately lunge and flick his mouse. When he lunges he has less restrictions than when he is rushing. That's probably the maximum angle you can turn and lunge towards.
It's definitely possible with blight. All you need to do is turn while rushing and then flick while lunging. You don't have to lift your mouse as long as you have enough mouse space.
What comes first? Turn right stick then pull right trigger? Or trigger first then turn with stick? Thats important to know

That's just normal Blight gameplay. You know, the thing that I and other forum users have been pointing out, only to get told that we do not, in fact, have any idea what we are talking about and, in fact, only go against potato survivors because we happen to know how to play a certain killer better than others.
Seriously, I've been playing like that since literally day 1, and I know that most other Blight Is Good players have been doing the same.
Om but ur not helping anyone

Check out -19:30 of the 9ne I linked. Downs the claudette inside Ormond resort. You tell me how he cut that angle around that box

When lunging out of a rush with Blight, you are propelled in the direction you are attacking in. This allows you to look either left or right and attack around tight corners.
Go to -19:30 thats one example.

If the Survivor jukes you, it's often directly to your left or right, yes?
By doing what I like to call a "Point-Turn", Blight goes from a measly 45° angle to a 90° angle as soon as he winds up for the swing.
Survivor goes right, you wait and bait out their turn, and you Point-Turn after them, smacking them anyway.
I have no idea if this is intended, but I hope it is. It's a ridiculous tech.
Can you explain in detail exactly what you're doing? Like which stick are you turning and when and how quickly argue attacking after turning the stick? A video tutorial would definitely help the whole community on YouTube. Would definitely get a like and sub from me
-
@Heartbound said:
Nah. If you're being used as bait just let go on hook. If the survivors are doing gens though stay alive to give them a better chance.
Can't win'em all, but you can make sure they don't win their game either.
If only they didn't suicide on hook. They just don't seem to get how crucial they are once they are being camped.

I just told myself to ignore everyone saying Blight was weak in the beginning. Mobility is a huge part of what makes a top tier in this game and Blight has ridiculous amounts of it, along with being able to keep up in chases really well. That's ignoring his add-ons that some people already consider to be borderline OP (his GREEN aura reveal add on... WHEW!)
I just could never see him being bad with his kit lmao; hard to learn, sure, but bad? Nuh-uh.
@TheClownIsKing , glad to see you have changed your mind about him, especially after seeing all your posts saying you didn't like him! I haven't played Blight yet (swearing off killer until cross platform progression frees me from the Switch cross play killer hellscape) but he does look incredibly fun to play as.
Yall are saying this now. Let's see in a month. You're playing garbage survs!

When you hit survivors it blocks pallets in 16 meters and it goes on a cool-down for 40 seconds but it's also a hex perk that stops working after it's destroyed
The things is when you hit a survivor they get a speed boost that can take them far away from any blocked pallets
And for some reason bhvr thought it was a good Idea to give a hex perk a cool-down. What ever happened to Hex perks being High risk High reward?
Here's what it should do:
Any pallets within 28/29/30 meters of the killer are blocked while this hex is active
But it does work. They do it anyway lol. Run it and see, its funny stuff I love it

Im on Ps4, and I've heard PC is the better platform, and It totally understand why. But now with cross play and getting the oppertunity to play with PC players, I dont feel at any disadvantage or even really any change when versing PC players. So my question to you guys is: If you are a console player do you feel at any particular disadvantage when going against PC survivors/killers, and to PC players do you feel like you're at an advantage when going against console survivor/killers. Thank you for any feedback
Buddy if you switch to a pc that gets over 60fps steady and doesn't drop into the 30s during a chase, and you lunge at someone doing a 360, believe me you are gonna find out real quick what the advantage of pc is. You console guys got a lot to learn with all these posts that display your ignorance to what it means to be a pc gamer. I mean that with respect.

My sensitivity has always been maxed out and his turning was still almost nonexistent. I think the devs need to take a look at him on consoles, unless they’re fine with another Killer that’s great on PC but a nightmare on consoles.
Exactly bro. They don't wanna hear it though.

Highlights from the dev Q&A this afternoon for the curious:
Bugs
- Fix is coming out next Tuesday for frame and stuttering issues.
- Looking into bugs including killer heartbeats, Switch and some others
- Discussion of what changed with Blight from the PTB version
Questions
- Characters are getting new textures and improved animations as part of the graphical updates.
- There are two teams working simultaneously on both new content and reviewing and reworking old content (so no "old content only" chapter will happen, it will be new plus changes to old each time.)
- There's no date or anything currently to bring Mobile style bots to other platforms but it's definitely possible.
- Killers are receiving new animations as needed, particularly old killer, for general actions. (Not whole new moris but things like moves and attacks and kicking gens.)
- There are some killer changes planned, in particular they are not quite done with Clown yet....
- Unique voices for legendary skins is something they would like to do but aren't planned yet.
- Almost all maps are eventually getting reworked as part of the graphical update.
- Prestige rewards still a little ways off, nothing to share quite yet....
- A bunch of perk adjustments are planned for the next chapter. In general the mid-chapter patches will have more perk changes than the new chapter patches but they are actively working on perks.
- It is a "big, fat maybe" if a new type of item (other than flashlights, maps, keys, etc) will be added to the game. It's possible to add one but nothing firm if or when it could happen
- Pyramid Head is under balance review. In general they have a relative new formal process in place for reviewing and rebalancing new killers after they are released and Pyramid Head is the first to benefit from it. The results of that review and possible changes should be coming "soon (TM)"
- The new MMR system for matchmaking is definitely coming back sooner rather than later. It's still running behind the scenes collecting additional data and we'll see announcements about it eventually.
- The 1 million Bloodpoint Cap is in place to encourage players to actually spend their points on rewards and then play the game to get more points rather than just sit on a massive amount of points and spending it all at once when a new character comes out. (The fact that it made hackers easier to spot was a side benefit.)
- If you've ever wondered why, for example, you see an ultra-rare Red Mori more than a rare Green Mori in your bloodwebs, it's because the web picks the rarity of a slot first then chooses randomly between all objects of that rarity and there are far more Green objects then Red ones. So even though Red objects as a whole show up less frequently, when it rolls for a Red object there is a decent chance it's a Red Mori because there aren't as many other possible outcomes. But when it rolls a Green Mori there are many, many more green objects it could possible be so the odds of it specifically being the Mori out of those is small. (The same for any particular red item coming up more than any particular green item).
- Hatch placement offerings are not secret because they want both sides to be able to make use of the information on where the hatch will be so players can play around it more.
- Graphics and map updates are expected to come out each midchapter and chapter release (barring unforseen issues)
- Experience offerings like they have on Mobile are not going to be added to systems because they don't fit the progression systems there.
- They plan to tweak the number of add-ons for Huntress to be on par with the standard ratios (two Ultra Rares, four Rares, etc). Not something that will be soon though.
- They would like to be able to bring PTB to consoles but it's very complicated so not something that is currently planned.
- The Never Stop Slashing Legion mask will unfortunately not change facial expressions. They really wanted to do it but it couldn't be done due to technical limitations. 😔
- Both Moris and Keys are being changed at an undisclosed point in the future. There is no date yet but there are plans for both items. (And they can't confirm whether or not the changes will be simultaneous or not.)
- There are no immediate plans to remove Bloodlust but they are keeping an open mind on it.
- They do cosmetic sets in part because it gives the art team more flexibility when designing assets since they don't have to worry as much about whether or not a particular piece is going to be mix-and-matched with other pieces.
- All the graphical updates will take at least a year to entirely complete, it's a large project being done in small parts
- An update on hit validation should be coming soon. This will help with "close calls" on hits.
- They are leaving off the ability to switch killers in the campfire lobby since MMR is something that is coming back soon and they don't want to switch it on and off unless necessary since it would require client updates to change (as opposed to MMR which is something that can be turned back on in the backend.) Also keeping people from swapping killers is helping with the ongoing MMR testing.
- Endgame chat for console is not planned for the moment due to technical complexities involving console chat and keyboards, etc. Same for keyboard and mouse on console.
- Cross progression has a lot coming soon. Basically if you have the same character on two platforms it will essentially give you the highest level version of the character that you have both characters and if you have a character on one system it will copy to the other system.
- Cross-play only between consoles is not something that is planned
- Due to technical issues involving console requirements there are no plans to replace the globe icon with something that tells you which specific console the player is on.
Ty you are doing the lords work!
-

Try to set your sensitivity on 100.Anything below that would make the turning pretty hard.

They seem to really care about the clown.
Started with a small but really really great buff for him. Then took their time to monitor his performance to decide whether that buff was enough for him or not.
Seems like they aren't happy with the clown yet and probably continue with some tweaks to make him better but not too strong.
Just give the man a little bit more mobility so he could put pressure on generators better and he will be a happy little God

They do well because they are using mouse and keyboard. All console players or controller users are left out to dry with him

The short version
He kicks ass and is tremendously fun to play.
The long version
The Blight easily has one of the highest skill ceilings in the game. I'd argue that Nurse is a bit higher, but not by much. His power requires acute memory of all tilesets in the game, familiarity with your mouse DPI, and good reflexes.
This makes learning him quite a task. But my god if it isn't fun once you do. Here's a quick summary of what the Blight has going for, and against him.
Strengths
- Map Pressure
The most obvious of his strengths, the Blight moves at 230% movement speed while rushing. That's the same speed as Hillbilly's sprint. But unlike Hillbilly, Blight is not limited to going in a curved line. By "pin-balling" against obstacles you can cover a distance of up to 138 meters if you perfectly time and distance your rushes! This gives Blight the best mobility in the game par none.
Combine this with the relatively quick recharge of his power, and a decent amount of practise, the Blight becomes unwaveringly oppressive. Especially if combined with perks like BBQ, Surveillance, and any other perk that benefits from arriving at a location within seconds. If he's not chasing someone already he's going to start very soon.
- Chase Potential
Although still susceptible to very tight loops, the Blight can shut down quite a lot of otherwise safe positions for survivors. Some of you might question how he can do this since you might think that his lunge is predictable and can't be easily controlled. Allow me to explain how this is not the case.
The Blight's lethal rush propels you in the direction you are looking. But while rushing you cannot look more than around 60% to the left or right. However, attacking out of a rush will push you in the direction you are attacking. Also remember that the lethal rush cannot hit walls and is exempt from the dreaded "aim dressing", allowing you to curve around obstacles and get hits.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to learn this skill. Especially since Blight has a very generous attack hitbox which can hit survivors who aren't even on your screen! Trust me, that thing puts Huntress's thrown mini-fridges to shame.
- Strong add-ons
With the exception of his farming add-on, and the ones that increase slam duration, every single add-on the Blight has is good. I'm honestly hard pressed to say there's a best combination. He's got insta-downs, wallhacks, better steering, breaking pallets and walls with his face, and training wheels for when you're learning him. You really can't go wrong with any of these.
My personal favourite is a tie between the insta-down + reduced rush tokens, and stacked animal add-ons. Using both the blighted rat and the crow you can go up to a staggering 270% movement speed on your final rush! Survivors barely have a chance to register your terror radius before you're right on top of them.
Weaknesses
- M1 Perk Anti-synergy
This is my biggest problem with the Blight, not that I have many. His lethal rush does not count as a basic attack. Meaning that 2/3 of his perks don't work with his power, including every single other M1 perk in the game.
I'm not a fan of this design pattern at all. It just reinforces the incredibly stale meta of PTGW and BQQ since many killer perks have heavily discouraged use on most killers, (but not the most powerful killers in the game for some reason). Demogorgon, Pig and Legion all have the same problem and I wish the devs would stop giving new killers the same problem.
- Indoor Maps
This point is very self-explanatory. But it's not as bad as people think. Lery's and The Game reduce the Blight's overall map presence since he has so many walls in-between gens. However, I've found that these maps offer much more use of his power at most loops. Especially running his ultra-rare add-on that allows him to quickly break pallets by rushing into them.
These maps do take some getting used to. But with enough experience on them a good Blight can still be just as effective.
- His P3 looks bad
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/V1SZQ5D9816L/p3-blight.jpg
It needs waaaaay more blood.
Summary
I'm really baffled by the community response to Blight so far. Many people claim that his power is useless at chases, calling him clunky, and some even have the sheer audacity to compare him to Legion in terms of power.
He has so many things going for him. Constant map pressure, good chase potential and good add-ons. But so many people just write him off because they haven't taken the time to learn him.
I've had at least 40+ games with him since his release, and although I typically don't like using antidotes, I've 4K'ed in 90% of those games. I know for a fact how strong he is and I hope this post has convinced you of the same.
So what you're saying is us controller users are out of luck? Gj dude.

This was the answer to my report a while back. My issue was solved.
They will investigate for you, they will search, they will try their best, and they will respond if need be. Your issue will be solved
----
In your case, you haven't been able to play for a week you say. Good, then you're not the only person with the issue then. They will look into your problem and other's as well, since you're definitely not alone. How long they will take to fix this, it depends is all I can say, and it can also FALL ON YOU because they take long because you haven't properly responded or provided enough info and just said "well i cna't play for a wekk, can u please look into it" ? I'm sure you didn't respond like this but there are definitely people that did and probably caused even more confusion. Right now, they're trying to connect the dots and see where the problem lies.
You ever tried to work in tech support as a side job or just work with people in general? They can be hell at times and the same thing applies here. One person tells you one, the other tells you something else, even though it's the same problem, it can drive a man absolutely nuts at times and confuse them even more.
Not mentioning that if you got a response within a few days and they said "your problem is under review" then that CLEARLY means they are looking into it and there are others like you.
TL;DR - You're probably not the only person with the same problem, they will compare your problem to others and try to connect the dots and try to come with a fix probably next hotfix which will happen this upcoming Tuesday.
If you don't mind, what was the reason you can't play DBD anymore? If you'd like to share it with us.
Ban for communication abuse. Trying to appeal it.

I got a few.
- The right stick is the only thing that matters during rushing. Left stick does nothing (except during a slam so you can move a little to line up your next rush). Think Billy, not Oni.
- Release/ease up on the right stick before a slam so you don't start spinning whenever you hit a wall.
- Learn your sensitivity so you can flick in a direction after a slam to quickly rush again. This'll be important to learn once you get the general feel for his power down.
- Rush recovery add-ons are useful if you keep missing rushes. Arguably better training wheel add-ons than the monocle.
- Some maps are just really hard to play as him. Preschool and Lery's are nightmares. Don't feel bad about losing.
- If you get tired of losing too much just turn crossplay off. The survivors there are kinda Pepega, not gonna lie. Don't tell anyone I said that. Queues are faster with it off anyway apparently.
Practice makes perfect and Blight needs a ton of practice. Don't expect to be great at him in the first week, or even the first month. Just keep playing and learning.
No man you can practice all you want but the fact of the matter remains that the controller hinders him because you can't turn like you can with a mouse and keyboard. They need to fix it

But he doesn't seem to lack maneuverability that much with keyboard and mouse. That's what I'm saying

It has to do with control sensitivity, just make it higher in menus, hope this helps.
I've been playing dead by daylight for over a year with default sensitivity there is no way I'm going to change sensitivity now and throw my entire game off with every other killer just for the blight. They fixed oni and matched to where we didn't have to increase sensitivity with him they need to do it for the blight as well
-
Try using a controller on him and it's even worse dude

In all honesty I like the blight in every other category besides gameplay. His story, look and music are all great, so big props too that. However his gameplay is definitely the big bad doo doo dad here, but it’s not that it’s bad, it’s that it’s not that easy to pick up.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m bad with blight and I don’t think I’ll ever get good cause I don’t have the patience and the will to play him. I’d say the same goes for many others here, that he’s bad and unfun to play which I gotta agree with. Now of course I’ve seen a good blight once in a blue moon, and then there’s the streamers/YouTubers. But I think that he’s like nurse in a way, he needs a lot of practice and time. Only difference is that heres mot too much pay off to learning him.
Maybe I’m wrong and feel free to share your opinion, but I got the same feeling I did when I played nurse the first time. Only difference here is with nurse I could actually see I was getting better, with blight though? I still can’t seem to tell, sometimes (rarely) I can get a 4K on Macmillan and then get absolutely mopped on Swamp. Map also is a heavy factor but we all know that.
Anyways, feel free to speak your mind on whatever it is, new outlooks are always welcomed!
He needs mouse and keyboard. Thats the difference.

Haha Yes dude I'd have not seen this had you not necroed

After you've played this game for so long you get to where you know most of its intricacies. Meaning even a subtle faster than normal move speed or being found somewhere "unreasonably". It seems pretty easy to tell imo.
I generally think in the vast majority of cases that people are complaining about hackers it really isn't and they just don't fully understand how certain mechanics or perks work..or they're just salty. I'm probably in the 1% of top playtime people and I've only ever seen a true hacker once. I'm not saying this to brag just pointing out how rare hackers are after playing for so many hours. Others may have truly experienced more hackers than this but I feel my sample size is pretty significant for using it as a basis.
Note that all I have said is for PC only. Things may be totally different for other platforms.
So you've never seen a surv moving just ever so slightly faster than they should and not using pwyf?

0.2ms is not slow bro it is literally bloodlust or play with your food stack very easy to tell if you are not new to the game and it depends person to person when you stop being a "new player" some people just play 500 hours and still have no clue about anything just like people going to school and learning nothing.
Wall hacks can be in the game but they won't make it obvious to tell but some are just very stupid they just directly come to you for no reason or open your locker coming from other end of the map so I got many wallhacking killers banned with video clips.
I also faced speed hacking survivors they get behind an object and disappear with no scratch marks but there was times they messed up and I caught them speed hacking away and got them banned.
This is all well and good but are u saying u always know when someone is hacking? They never can slip it past you is what yall are saying?

I bought the game while ago and been playing deathslinger nonstop, first i really enjoyed it even if i lost but i've started to notice that the game feels pretty much survior sided.
-So doing gens takes atleast around 80 seconds, that means that 3-4 gens can be done in the first bloody minute and half ( thats sometimes how long it takes to find even first survior ) while someone in hook takes 2 mins to die OR 3 hooks to insta kill him, oh wait there are countless things that stop you from 3 hooking someone.
-i-frames for surviors when rescuing others, borrowing time, all mov speed perks, insta heal perks, slug counter perks, perk that punishes survior for doing what he is supposed to do ( carry people to hooks, gets stunned for 5 sec instead )
-There are some maps where its literally impossible to see surviors due your first person ( like with alot of corners/grass etc. ) while surviors can see you from far away and plan ahead/hide. Then there are some maps with god like pallets close by each others, tons of windows and drops.
-Survior perks which just stress killer more ( if i carry do i get punished, if i leave him into ground do i get punished, does he have borrowing time, does he have mov speed boosts, do they have insta heals, do they have faster gen repairing, etc. ) Surviors have WAY too many free out of jail cards, sometimes you have to literally win the match like 3 times because of all these perks, ive had to hit 1 survior like 10+ times just to kill him while in 5 min all gens are done + in a map with tons of grass and kiting spots to make it really hard to cathc the survior.
- I think that surviors should only be able to use 1 second chance perk ( like borrowing time, unbreakable, decisive strike, adrenaline, etc. ) and then 3 other perks which arent the same type of perk..
- ( I honestly think that all perks/add-ons/offerings should be revomed from both killer and survior, it makes the game unbalanced and somewhat perk-to-win )
- Gens should take longer to do OR hooking should take way less time or be way less risky ( How have we come to the point where killers LITERALLY are getting punished for doing the very thing they are meant to do )
- Surviors are so hard-almost impossible to counter with right perks/map
- Also the toxic surviors, tea bagging constantly/calling u camper even if u dont camp/are forced to camp or see other survior near the hooked survior, calling u tunneler ( its pretty fun how people complain that i "tunnel" with deathslinger, he is literally a 1v1 killer who is supposed to hit with basic attack and then right after hook in and finnish the same target ), if you play really well as a killer nobody ever says gg, but if surviors win they say gg/gg ez or make fun of you, etc.
- Surviors even have dungeon to allow them escape so killer wont get 4K ( not saying that it should be revomed, its really fun thing to have and it can be countered if you kick the hatch but then again adrenaline perk may then save someone and allow to rush for exit gate )
- Healing is so fast, insta heal or sometimes u see someone getting healed in like 20 seconds, while it takes like 1 min to down a survior. So healing should also be a bit more punishing for surviors.
- Its so hard to see surviors, they can plan ahead with their third person while killers have to follow sometimes unclear scratch marks or just try and spot someone in a cornfield/ grassy area.
It just feels crappy when you have played well but surviors contantly get away because of perks with no counterplay, fast healing and gens and then when finally i have hooked someone i gotta wait 2 min if i wanna play it safe ( if exit gate is already open ) or down them somehow 3 times which may take like 3-5 more hits.
The game feels like its constantly baby sitting surviors, way too many chances to escape death with fast gen repairing.
You lost me at the take all perks and add ons away and make the game boring part. Why do you think this game does well while other ones don't? If you guessed creative use of perks and addons you guessed it right!
Good thing folks like you are not in charge of development for this game because that's the type of decisions that makes games fail

And this dumb game allows it.
There is an ENORMOUS difference between low rank survivors and reds, polar opposites.
A well coordinated red group will make the killer rage quit while lower rank survivors might have a hard time.
This game does NOTHING to combat that. Reds are not playing, they do anything BUT complete objectives unless the objective is to torture the killer in which case they're acing it.
Developers are out of their mind if they think this is by any means enjoyable. In any other game in the world people always still put some effort into the objective whether it's shooting or capturing, in dbd there's 0 of that in higher ranks.
You will always play better as killer if you stay calm. I've been known to get really pest off at the trolls out there running around being toxic moon walking all over the place, And every time I get really pissy off I just play worse and then it's a downward spiral from there like the one guy said take a break for a little bit and then come back later and when you feel your blood pressure start rising again take another break.
However the tutorials thing can't be overlooked. Even after a 1000 hours gameplay I still will watch tutorials and every once in a while sure enough I was missing some little detail that changes everything especially with so many killers with different powers. There is always something to learn even from the very simple beginner videos

Finally got around to trying it out yesterday and for a portion of today. I think it's interesting, definitely a lower-cut DbD when compared to PC, PS4 or Xbox but still fun. The mechanics are a little wonky and it makes my phone heat up super hot even when on 30 FPS (for an iPhone 10) which seems odd to me.
I guess I just don't understand the appeal of mobile when you can play the superior platforms. I even tried getting my friend (who doesn't play PC/PS4/Xbox) to try it and he said he didn't enjoy it on the phone at all.
Do you like mobile? I get why BHVR pushed for a mobile release, I just think it was rather pointless. Then again, I have no idea how successful it was, or wasn't in this case.
OK a couple things I have to tell you about here. If your phone is heating up or even crashing when playing, simply turn off your phone and turn it back on again it most likely has a memory problem from being on too much.
I was really upset and made a bug report but after I re booted my phone everything plays smooth as long as I do it often.
Another thing that they need to fix and it would almost be perfect is the ability to control your aim for your lunge. If we can't control our lunge, we can't attack around corners which is very important in dead by daylight don't you agree?. It also would help to be able to aim your huntress Hatchets and different things like the clowns bottles. As of right now once you hit that button to throw the item or even wind up your chainsaw as the Hill Billy, you can't adjust the aim afterwards and when you can't adjust the lunge, survivors can easily juke you

Had an idea after watching one of my favorite horror movies, It Follows the other day. What if the killer (It) looked like a fellow survivor in your game and had a following ability to transform into whichever survivor you wanted. It could even interact with the environment in certain ways to trick players into thinking its friendly, then going in for the kill?
The survivor would be Jamie (Jay) Height, of course. Her cosmetics would be those seen in the movie since she has a lot of different outfits. Hadn't thought too far into perks, but the movie is so unique with its characters that it wouldn't be hard to come up with some.
Just a thought. 😁 I adore It Follows and while I doubt it would ever be made into the Entity's Realm, it's still fun to brainstorm.
Well this is what people thought the legion was going to be after seeing his trailer for the 1st time period people got very excited so it's definitely got potential and they were very let down when that wasn't the case

Well, "horror" doesn't just apply to movies, it can apply to games as well. With this in mind, I'm sure that horror game fans who have been playing for quite some time can agree that Silent Hill is a pretty iconic and spooky franchise, and Pyramid Head is (as the wiki stated) one of the most iconic monsters in the franchise! And it would be a very unique Killer as well.
Good point but plenty of the other killers people have been talking about are much more icon it both in video games and movies. Except for maybe pennywise at least.
I would be disappointed if it was Pyramid but I guess plenty of others would be excited

"Pyramid Head or Red Pyramid Thing is a monster (and in two cases, a duo of monsters) that debuted in Silent Hill 2 as one of the primary antagonists. Since its creation, Pyramid Head has become one of the most well-known and iconic monsters in the franchise, turning into something of a mainstream and flagship figurehead for the series. They are usually portrayed as, at the most basic, violent monsters. A deeper meaning given to them explains their existences as deliverers of punishment and executioners of sinful humans. In Silent Hill 2, one Pyramid Head proves his acts of aggression are not aimed solely at humans, as he has also brought harm to the other creatures that inhabit Silent Hill." -Silent Hill Wiki
I personally would love to see Pyramid Head (in-game title: The Shadowed One, possibly?) as the new Killer. I think he would fit into the theme of the game very well, and I'm excited to see what they would do with him in regard to his abilities and how he interacts with the world and the Survivors. He's scary, he's powerful, he's unique, and he has CHARACTER!
The Survivor could be James Sunderland (from Silent Hill), of course--which would be great, since we haven't had a new male Survivor in quite some time!
They said iconic to horror since he was released. What makes you think Pyramid head is iconic to horror since release?

When killers are loading into games with a full loadout of an offering that impacts the game of the survivors severely like a mori and then rare or ultra rare add-ons and then ending the games as quickly as they do either because of altruistic survivors being mauled or selfish survivors who ultimately end up dying on forced end game because they literally refuse to help anyone off hooks or people who get tunneled, what do they even benefit from doing that except wasting everyone's time and being a dick? Seriously I don't get the appeal and I never play like that.....#########.....
I have had consecutive games where I literally cannot function or play this game at all with the toxic killers tonight game after game it has been moris after first hook, tunneling and soft/hard camping. I just got out of a match with a cannibal who did the typical insidious basement camping on a random and I felt bad not saving them so I went down there and he ended up doing the same thing to the other survivors that would come save us. I have 1500 hours in the game and am almost devotion 6. There needs to be some kind of penalty or harsher punishment for killers who play like this.
Consecutive games one after another for no reason at the beginning of the game, taking advantage of newer players that I get matched up with because of broken matchmaking. I mean its ######### ridiculous and unbearable at this point. Devs need to do something about this or honestly I will not play this game anymore and I totally understand why someone new would not want to continue playing after games like that.
The day when you bring a key into a match and you're on top of the hatch and you don't open it and escape through the hatch with said key, is the day I will listen to your ridiculous post OP.
Sitting here acting like Survivors ever give killers a break in any way shape or form is ridiculous. You guys want all the breaks and special treatment but will stick it to a killer hard and then laugh at him post game

Honestly, I think A LOT of this comes from Tru3...where every game that isn’t easy for him is blamed on SWF genrush. Just watch his chat, even before he says anything you’ll see people typing “must be SWF”, “GeN sPeEd Is FiNe”...it’s comical. Then all his fans just mimic what he says when it comes to their own games. Now he’s even saying “must be SWF with stretched screen”😂, so I’m sure we will be seeing a lot of that here.
You guys are still full of it. Yall sit back and laugh at killers 8 out of 10 games then when one finally kills you suddenly the game is killer sided. You have it easy and you all know it. You're spoiled.

I personally prefer going into games knowing what to expect from objectives, and although there is the element of randomness in generator spawns, knowing exactly how long things can take help you make informed decisions. For example, in F13, you could search an entire house and find nothing useful, or Jason could teleport on top of you within the first 8 seconds of the game (that's happened to me before). There's still the luck of killers finding you if they happen upon where you're hiding.
Generators already have some elements that adjust their time, like if all sides are accessible to be repaired from, but at base the 80 seconds are what everyone expects for generators on both sides - randomly deciding one should be longer feels arbitrary.
That's a good point I feel ya
