There are people who just type "reported", as if they believe you'll be banned, just because of their sayso.

The truth of the matter is that nothing happens. Most are just attempts to keep up their false idea that they're great and cannot accept someone may have beaten them because they played better.

Very few attempt the ban, and so long as you haven't cheated, the people dealing with the complaints will see that clearly and throw it out.

They're probably just trying to shift this imaginary pull of power to their advantage; compensating for the fact they've felt vulnerable and can't handle it.

Well I have actually confirmation that killers really can get banned for stuff like that.

Yea, I had few games with them but everytime I went into their stream after the match to say GG and drop them a follow, they were still in the middle of shittalking me. Im not saying all of TTVs are like that but many are and I stopped playing vs them altogether

ye I get what you mean. Without trying to be mean or rude but you have to think that way, most of these ppl are insecure of themselves and need to kinda get recognition throughout streams from other ppl to make themselves feel better, whenever their ego is attacked somehow "by you playing somehow not nice against them in any way" they will feel hurt and ofc "attack" back. It is sadly how it is.

  • @ShinobuSK said:

This is why I dodge TTVs

Well the gameplay itsself didnt change you know but I should stop watching those vods cuz its actually quiete scary what you hear from ppl like them.

  • @papabear2009 said:

If I ever face a streamer I do usually check them out to see their vod and watch the game through their eyes. I find it pretty entertaining and interesting way to learn to improve my killer. But I usually hear them say silly stuff like this....

One game before anyone was even hooked. I started chasing the first person I saw they called me a tunneller and a lil #########

Another game I had everyone at 2 hooks, I started chasing someone and they called me a tunneller and a lil #########

Ye you often hear those shout outs from ppl like them, its kinda funny but also abit sad. Always blaming everything else instead of your actions is kinda... well just sad.

  • Punishing survivors for a smart play is dumb but I agree however that the grab is and has been always totally bugged and inconsistent, the devs should really work on it to somehow fix it or make it more fair. But since this is a killer issue the devs will most likely not do anything or very late.

I guess when you have 4 Survivors alive during EGC, this is the point to accept that you lost.

Not necessarily, I had some matches where I turned a situation like this into 4ks. It all depends on the situation imo.

  • Trickstar, if you catch a open loop you are most likely dead and cant do anything about that.

  • I am pretty happy with the game, most things got fixed more or less, the new reworked maps are looking very good. Only thing that still is abit annoying is you can barely do anything if a sweaty swf team will play very efficient, you will even lose as Spirit or Nurse there. Sad that the devs still didnt do anything about that but I assume they just dont know how to approuch this problem yet.

I would give this game a easy 7/10.

I think Midwich might be the best map in the game.

I understand it's an indoor map with long hallways, but there's something very important that's constantly overlooked. The RNG is only applied to gen spawns, totems, hooks, and chests, but the pallet and window placement is consistent throughout multiple playthroughs.

The DBD team actually took the time to make a map without dead zones, without long stretches of safe pallets, they made a map that looks the same if you play it as survivor and then as killer.

They made something that's actually kinda fair. You won't get that on Gas Heaven.

You have a point but no midwitch is a bad map in terms of to some Killers. Killers like Pyramid, Huntress, Deathslinger, Bubba etc, every short range or loop counterable Killer suffers alot on this map. Good survivors will be able to just dodge the hatches or shots from the range killers and they are forced to run the long hallways with 110% and that takes up to ALOT of time.

But besides that, the map is very good I agree.

  • @papabear2009 said:

I got called a tunneller one time even though everyone but 1 survivor was at 2 hooks already. It seems playing survivor just brings the worst out of people.

Killers are always the bad ppl :C

  • @SunderMun said:

I wonder how long killers will blame survivors for their own mistake. Always crying about genrushing when they simply didn't go to gens to stop them and committed to a chase for too long.

Agree honestly. Even though there are some situations where you cant really do something about it for example as a M1 Killer. But ye most of the Killers blame genrush for the lack of their own skill, I've seen that way too often, especially killers that play with noed.

Yea if I were to move one killer out of A tier it would 100% be her. Otherwise in my opinion the rest are an A tier killer.

Ye the rest is totally fine. I made my own if you are intersted.

Correct, but legion you are able to heal against. Plague is only possible if you cleanse, and give her, her power. Another strat that hurts her if everyone cleanses in all of her pools, and only gives her one. She does have some downsides that should be addressed, but she is a pretty solid killer, but like I did say before earlier in the topic. Plague is where you see her fit though too.

Well maybe we just have different views of what a A tier is but as you described it. She is a solid Killer with downsites, that is in my term not A tier.

  • I agree kinda with you. I hate as Killer main if survivors just rush the gens and escape as fast as possible, trying to avoide chases or keeping them short. The main fun part of dbd is the chase imo, and trying to reduce it as far as possible is just dumb. But also just sacrificing yourself for others is also not the best thing imo. That is just foolish and gives the Killer a easy opening to apply more pressure for your entire team.

Imo it is important to find a good balance between "winning" by escaping or killing and chases or altruism to save others. Too much of either of them is also unfun for either you, your opponent or for your teammates if you know what I mean.

  • @GodLikeTerror said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2181526#Comment_2181526

Correct, but if the plague has solid moonwalking abilities and mind games you more than likely will go down. Most players even with high amount of hours struggle moonwalking tiles. If you fully moonwalk a tile more than likely you are easily getting an m1. I've played against a lot of high hour killers who don't even know that basic strategy of hugging and sliding off the wall moonwalking mind games. Even Veteran high level survivors make big blunders if you constantly hide your red light.

That would also apply to me,I am not a survivor main, I will eventuelly die to that aswell but this doesnt make her that good. You can use that argument to literally every Killer, even Legion and that would make Legion based on that argument even stronger since they are a smaller Killer with no incern burner smoke behind them. Since these Killer can keep survivors injured that examples fits well if you know what I mean.

Ofc you are right and that can help but this is not a Killer specific thing what you mention there.

  • You clearly havent played against a good Wraith or Ghostface. These Killers can end chases quicker then any other Killers and that makes them both easily B tier. Ofc this doesnt happen often but it does happen frequent enough. You just nee to play smart but sadly there are not much good players left these days to show the potential.

Deathslinger is on the top B tier but not A tier. If you meet good survivors then this Killer will struggle abit with the chase and that can cost alot of time since hs is a slow killer. Also he struggles with map pressure which survivors can take advantive of and push out gens.

Plague has definatly her weaknisses but she is not low C tier. If you can manage to make good use of your fountain then you can win the game with that 1 time which can be devestating. She can even take a apple addon to get one extra fountain. She is definatly higher, maybe high B tier.

Also. Clown can technically Force early pallet drops and can get pallets out Waaay faster than bubba can, Demo is placed higher due to his shred potential, It's just too good to not Spam every pallet, He's severely is Underrated by the community, A good Demo is a Very Scary Demo...

You are right that Clown can force pallet drops but that is also his weakness. That still extends the chase time by alot and that makes him very weak. He needs a long time to down a survivor and in the meantime the gens will fly. Thats why sadly Clown still sucks and will stay imo at the buttom C tier despite I really like him.

  • @DawnMad said:

I think you didn't do justice to a lot of killers. The ones that bugs me most are: Blight isn't S tier, you have to be map independent to be S tier which Blight definitely isn't, especially with his many collision bugs. Billy is definitely not as good as you give him credit, he can rarely use his chainsaw against good loopers who know how to play around his power and even in an open area his chainsaw is not too hard to dodge.

I get what you mean but blight is still S tier imo cuz you still can make use of his power very well even on hawkins or swamp. At worst he is a high mobile m1 killer with a free hit potential by getting a suprise hit on a gen. I played blight the past few weeks and the games where I "lost" with 2 escapes or more where only games where I messed up and couldnt apply enough pressure or just straight up sucked.

  • They couldnt fix Spirit sound problems since a year and its still there so ye I am not suprised either.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2181499#Comment_2181499

Because most plague players are potato's. A solid plague can be extremely scary. Seeing one is incredibly rare, because she isn't commonly played, and her real mains with a lot of time on her are low.

We found a plague main with 6k hours 2 days ago, we managed to escape all 4, she was even using a apple addon. I know what you mean but I am talking to good plagues. This killer is simiular to oni, if you manage to make good use of your red puke you can win the match, but if you are aware of that and play save, you turn her into a M1 killer and that is a easy gg.

  • I wonder why plague is so high up? Me and my swf bully the hell out of every single plague lol

  • If I have to go suddenly afk before match start but besides that never. No reason imo.

Legion needs a massive addon pass

All the addons based on his old kit need changes, eg franks mix tape lowing the mend duration if you hit a suv that needs to mend in your power is really dumb and bad and another purple just lowers the mend timer and thats also just bad.

The legion pin is worse that the yellow equivalent in terms of slowing the game to a snales pace if you can get multiple hits so its paired with duration.

their blades just buy him mend time and thats boring and encourages massive slowdown builds.

range addons give you info that you often cant use even so i think they are fine.

His rulers are fine but kinda weak but they make sence since normal M1s deplete your power gauge FOR NO REASON.

True even thuogh that the green pin is still usefull imo. I dislike susies mixape alo, its imo uterly underwhelming and boring and doesnt give you any benefit. I wonder what was wrong with the old susies mixtape?

  • Tombstone op?

Btw almost all of the hag addons are totally balanced and good. She has probably one of the best addon roster then everyone else.

I like the idea of a chapter with modern themes; i can picture a sinister, intelligent serial killer who was known for killing people with some type of pattern. And then a survivor that either escaped said killer or was a cop/journalist investigating the case.

Other than that, i like the idea of a brute/monster type of killer, another creature to keep demo company would be dope, maybe like a wendigo or werewolf?

What do you think? These were the first thoughts i had :)

Werewolf would be also cool agree

I have had mixed results with M&A and infectious as it never seems consistent if it will be the small reveal(Due to being able to down while not in a chase such as over walls as Plague or blindsiding someone before they can run as Oni) or the large plus Plague and Bubba really can't make use of the larger reveal they are just too slow.

But I do get your point about the smaller Terror radius throwing survivors off leading to grabs as I have done it multiple times but I was also originally commented to the OP who was asking why M&A felt underwhelming to them.

ye I get ya dont worry and thats true

  • @Warcrafter4 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2179020#Comment_2179020

Eh not overly for legion as you don't actually want the larger Terror radius while in a chase as it can often lead you to chasing survivors you can't possibly reach in time(Killer Instinct is tied to their radius).

Also for killers like Plague,Oni, and/or depending on your build Bubba don't actually want a smaller terror radius as they rely heavily on Infectious Fright which reveals survivors inside of your radius thus wanting a normal sized one(Too small you miss survivors too big well look at the top above).

Anyways the best killers for it are objectively Michael(Again depends on the build)/Deathslinger/Trickster as it lets them more easily ambush the survivors.

Finally for billy you have add-ons that can outright grant undetectable and unless you're running one of his Ultra rares the apex muffler your chainsaw sound isn't suppressed by M&A.

If you are a good killer you will know how far you can make it with Legion, it if you mess it up its your mistake, not from the perk. Infectios pairs very well with monitor cuz the bigger radius gives a good intel of where your next target is. Again if you mess up with the range of then its up to you, not the perk. Yes ofc deathslinger and myers are very good with this perk, probably even the best, but doesnt mean other Killers dont benefit from it. If you are used to that perk then the smaller TR can befit very well, you would be surpsied of how often I get some free Kills cuz I catch survivors off guard and off position.

Ps: Ignore my spelling, I am tired xD

  • @Warcrafter4 said:

Mine would be Borrowed Time as i primarily do safe unhooks(Including body-blocking when necessary) so a lot of the time unless a killer is camping and tunneling hard It never activates.

    as for your two:

Dying Light is an extremely overrated perk as it only has a noticeable effect once most of the survivors in a given game are dead and at that point slow down doesn't matter.

Monitor & Abuse is only good on killers with a low Terror radius like Deathslinger or Michael.

It also requires that the killer doesn't have an external special terror radius like huntress whom its useless on.

Not really, monitor is really good also on Killers with oneshot abilitys or keeping survivors injured such as Legion, Plague, Oni, Bubba or even Billy.

    1. Unranked mode
    2. More frequent Killer balancing and reworks
    3. A recycle system for offerings and addons into shards or BPs
    4. A new game mode

    I guess thats it.

wraith is a surprise attack killer, so his lethality comes from using surprise attacks and avoiding obvious play (stop chasing with Wraith). both get free initial hits, but wraith can get a free down as well. legion can't. that's his issue.

Exactly, thats what I meant, thanks for the recap.

That's how to play well. The same is true for almost every killer. I see a lot of beginners playing Oni and doing well.

I would love to see that, I barely see any that are decent.

  • Playing this game.

  • Sometimes I had games like that too, sadly it is just how it is. At a certain level the killer regardless of how good will lose cuz the balancing is not well enough of the game to compensate your skill in streangth against survivors. I recommend to take a break and play something else. Just get over it and forget it, dont focus on that too much.

Sadly that is something you will eventuelly come across as Killer, and you have to deal with it.

  • @AhoyWolf said:

Legion is so underrated it hurts, I would put them in B tier personally.

Ppl who lose against a Legion cant loop a M1 killer and that is not making the killer good. Lemme just make a new account and destroy rank 20 with bamboozle no blink nurse, does that mean its a good build on her?

  • I dont mind it, its even just funnier and the cherry on top if you win and then get the salt. Its even better when they blame your perks xD I leggit had ppl complaining that I play bamboozle on Oni (Cuz I prestiged him and didnt had anything else).

  • @Northener1907 said:

    How Oni is hard

Blood orb management. Learning how to wall strave, knowing when to use the power and make the most out of it. Knowing how the hitbox of the bonk works. Learning how to get the first hit very early. Learning mindgames with the demon dash, learning how and when to slug, just going for always slug is not the smartest play if the survivors know what they are doing.

  • Actually I do struggle. Mr X or Nemesis are pretty cool, Wesker from RE 5 is so nice aswell. But the daughters are very nice and hot aswell :3

  • @DemoFrog said:

I believe that a good Oni can be an absolute nightmare for anyone with coordination anything short of a Navy Seal. He has pretty bad early games like some trap killers, bur if played right he can pressure survivors out of doing ANYTHING at all. He's low S-Tier in my heart because I love Oni and he's one of my favourites. Now I like being generous with Trickster because he's a really cool character and he can pressure people away from good loops entirely. He's also really annoying to fight, but that's less of a physical factor but more of a psychological one. And Plague is just pretty good. She's just good. People underestimate her power due to her low pickrate, but I believe she's quite good in the right hands.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2176119#Comment_2176119

I'm sorry, but I can't describe Clown as anything but bad. I've seen some good ones but he's so easy to counter without good perks it's hilarious. But hey, Bamboozle and Pop are really good so I'll give him that.

I agree with you that Oni can be pretty devestating and win the entire game with just 1 power use but if survivors know how to delay the first hit at all cost then you will lose the game pretty much, regardless of how good you are. I am a Oni main and I had some games like that, got once my first hit after 4 gens cuz the swf grp dropped and used literally everything to prevent getting hit and beeing very aware from where I could and would come.

  • This isnt fixing Legions problem. Legions problem is the lack of lethality (downing survivors). Legion is the only Killer that has literally nothing to help them, even wraith can atleast cloak and get closer like that. So what this Killer needs is a secondary ability or something that makes it possible to down survivors somehow quicker.

  • @tippy2k2 said:

If a survivor body blocks me when I'm trying to be a "nice" killer and going after their teammate after a unsafe hook, I am under the assumption that they are requesting that I "tunnel" them (I just wait out the 15 seconds before I smack them so they can't get their free speed boost).

You can't beg for my attention and then get mad when I give it to you.

Agree but there are some situation where you lose a ton of pressure or even ppl escaping because of that. Ofc this doesnt happen too often but if that happens then well... feels bad.

  • As long as a Killer doesnt overdo it like a facecamping insidious bubba I am fine with it. As long as Genrush exists I think its fine that Tunneling or camping exists.

  • @zombitehdeath said:

For the reverse window. I thought of something like that but instead of a breaking animation, the killer would go through while being slowed down. It can reset but it limited

Ye its also not bad but I personally really wish for a rebuild and destroy mechanic. I had hopes back in the days with the breakable walls but they ended up as a dissapointment.
