Maybe all you numb skulls will finally learn how to play the damn game
I mean they kinda do know how to play the game. They were able to find a survivor, win the chase against that survivor, and than successfully hooked said survivor.
Now all they need is to take those skills and apply it to other survivors.

This perk provides way too much value agains soloQ people.
30% repair speed just for ONE token?! A bit much.
I know the whole idea is that people know where was the totem, but soloQ have almost no communication. You may know where i could be, but everybody else most likely don't.
Reduce Repair speed penalty to 10% and privide aura reading at 8m of the totem.
Survivors don't need communication to deal with Pentimento though. All they need to do once the get the notification is go back to the totem that they cleansed.
@PBsamichShoe said:
100% agreed. 30% gen regression that they can potentially keep getting as long as someone on the team cleanses something is unbalanced af. Killers saying it takes effort to light them when it take less time to light a pentimento totem than it does to bless a boon totem are entitled af.
30% regression turns 90 second gens into 117 second gens. Thats insane.
And it can easily be removed, all the survivor needs to do is go back to the location where they cleansed a dull totem.
-
Killers couldn't play the PTB because no survivors played, proving once again there is nothing for survivors
Survivors did play during the ptb, and there is stuff for survivors. The new killer brings more stuff, so people are going to want to try the new killer.

It was a very good perk not just on Plague and Legion but overall and synergized great with particular builds so i dont understand why they would nerf it after it received a buff.
Can anyone tell me or speculate why?
I thought they wanted it to be used on more killers, the entire reason behind the buff.
I guess plague and legion got to much value from a buff, so they decided to kill the use of it on every other killer.

@Norhc said:
Sure you haven't. We totally believe you.
Seeing blights almost every game is understandable, since this tome is about him.

@Huge_Bush said:
What does the perk do? I’m at work and I’m too lazy/short of time to search up anything about the new stuff.
Awakened Awareness shows the aura of survivors in a 20 meter range when the killer picks up a survivor. The aura reading lasts another 2 seconds once the killer hooks the survivor.
-
The killswitch is only there to prevent people from abusing certain bugs (on perks, killers, or maps).
Just cause you don't like going against it doesn't mean it needs to be killswitched.
-
You have a better chance at winning $1+ million (or whatever currency is used where you live) from a lottery than the us vs them threads stop popping up.
-
You can thank the players flooding the report section with pointless/useless reports on a player that didn't break any of the dbd rules.
So the actual reports against players that actually broke the rules are drowned out by useless reports.
-
Sometimes I'm glad the devs ignore certain ideas from the community.

The change it received was completely pointless imo. Nobody is going to run it, maybe Jake’s doing their adept but that’s about it.
It is going to continue collecting dust
Heres what it would work against if it did counter Killer Instinct:
- Legion’s Feral Frenzy
- Night Shroud reveal
- Close to Demogorgon Portals
- Walking/Running over Rites of Judgement
- Victor’s shriek radius
- Using Nemesis Vaccine
- Attempting to solve Lament Configuration
- Close to Dire Crow
- Being Fully Condemned
- Being close to a locker when The Dredge is near
It’s probably not the Strongest change but it is a better change that is fitting with the perk.
There is no reason you should even get a de-buff by using a perk. I am sorry but the new change is useless.
I would rather not have a perk that counter a killer's power, especially one that can affect multiple killers.
-
I mean if it still had the 200% I would be okay with the changes, but to nerf it to tier 1 ruin? When was the last time you saw someone gladly stick with ruin tier 1.
I'm still confused about this patch they wanted to change the meta, but the meta for killer is still going to be stack 3-4 slowdown perks.
-
I barely used it so the changes won't affect me.

99% of reporting is for things that is not against the rules like camping/tunneling/tbagging etc, so real issues will drown in the ocean.
fr someone reported me for camping because spirit's husk (they thought it was me) was near the hook.
-
I've been taking a break for 3 months, but I still watch dbd content.
I might come back soon or whenever the mid-patch goes live.

@MinlerDemon said:
They buff survivor and nerf killer in this patch , so kill rate will reduce.
Wdym? Killers got mutiple basekit and perk buffs.
Faster bloodlust gains.
Faster hit animation cooldown.
Faster at breaking pallets.
2.5% base kick regression.
With some other changes as well. Both killers and survivors received some type of buff/nerf either to basekit or perks.
-
I had a game where a spirit would ignore everyone and only chase me for 5 gens.
I would call that getting tunneled.

Devs can get around this, here's how.
Every game the player has 10% chance of having cheats.
If everyone has cheats depending on RNG, then no one is cheating.
BHVR I sent you my invoice.
Every game the player has 10% chance of having cheats.
That is because you have to pay money for the game. Whenever the game had f2p weekends that "10% chance" would heavily increase.
Not only would the number of script kiddies increase beyond 10% to probably 45% or more, but those who got banned could just make a new account for free.
If everyone has cheats depending on RNG, then no one is cheating.
Except that majority of the dbd playerbase doesn't have cheats they play the game without them. If the population of script kiddies overthrows the regular playerbase. Than those who don't use cheats will just leave the game, and BHVR would just lose money since script kiddies have everything unlocked (Survivors/Killers and their outfits).
Edit: I would also hate to see this game turn into BO2 where every match is filled with script kiddies.

Survivors were hoping for Ruin to be nerfed to the ground but the Change made it just an equally powerful version of Ruin (or much better version for Mobility Killers).
So Yea my point is Dead Hard is here to stay.
The reason they changed ruin was because it barely affected survivors who could constantly hit great skill checks and it affected those who couldn't to much.
-
I mean, they have nerfed DS and COH. If you look at patches in the past, you'll see all the perks they nerfed that they considered OP or too strong.
Many survivor perks aren't worth running unless you want to make a meme build or a less 'comp' build. So I really can't blame people for only running those perks, but I feel like people should at least try different builds from time to time.

The answer is never because killer perks don’t get nerfed. I agree they should be though, it’s OP when used together.
killer perks don't get nerfed
They do though.

Que the woke brigade.
He'd be an excellent addition but think there are other licences they'll go to over the creeper for various reasons. He hunts on fear, so he'd probably have a bunch of obsession perks and perhaps would get a bonus for hunting the obsession and tormenting them. Others have said that he could probably be able to fly directly upwards in order to get a birds eye view of the map, but obviously the flaw of that would be indoor maps.
Not wanting the creation of a child molester in the game = woke?
-
So a boon that not only shows the killers aura but also gives a 50% gen bonus, and it also is map wide?
Yeah this is broken even if it has the 60 second cooldown. All 4 survivors could run this perk, and each person can boon a totem after one is cleansed.
I get the whole 'punish' killers who camp and tunnel but majority of these types of suggestions also punish those who don't.
For example; if your facing a killer with no map mobility even if they don't camp they get punished due to the aura and 50%. Survivors could just avoid the place where the boon is located, so the killer is either forced to waste time looking for the totem or have survivors be able to do gens 50% faster.
This boon will just kill killer diversity and encourage killers to play more blight and nurse. Which a majority of the playerbase don't want.

Bestie Im new here I thought it was about like theories and ideas not people screaming and crying until the devs giving into them are yall like 5
DBD Twitter - Survivors and Killers complaining.
DBD Steam and Official Forums - Survivors ans Killers complaining.
DBD Reddit - Survivors and Killers complaining.
Not sure why you'd think people wouldn't be complaining about a game on a platform where they can voice their opinion.
-
The whole "CoH is dead" is just people overreacting.
-
Every killer is buffed.
This is untrue.
No killer perks are nerfed
This is also untrue.
-
Yes they have 900 employees, but guess what there is something called different positions.
Join the Behaviour team and make the games you'd want to play. Discover our perks and benefits. Get tips from our recruiters. Search open positions. -
So essentially, killer mains playing as The Onryo equip Hex: Devour Hope, hook a survivor and teleport to the furthest TV from the hooked survivor, immediately being out of the 24 meter range and getting tokens towards Hex: Devour Hope very quickly.
Nurse, Blight, and Demo can all do this as well.
-
Idk, but I find it funny watching them go on a rant.

@Prex91 said:
AFK strats are boring. AFK pig should be addressed by devs. Unfun hostage tactic.
I wouldn't call it a "hostage tactic" since the game can still end. It's up to the survivors how long they want the game to last.

Can't you do the same to the comments saying they don't want FNaF?
-
Killers should camp if there is one or more survivors nearby the hooked survivor.
-
Fun Fact: Boons counter Hex: Pentimento hard
Even when you don't have Boons Pentimento is still easy to deal with.

By op I mean the perk of Nurse that she can telport twice in a row without Cool dawn
That's not a perk, that's her power. She goes into cool down either by missing or hitting a survivor.
-
You killer mains have lost my respect
I don't mind losing something that has no value.
-
@hailxsatanxeveryxday said:
Neither.
Killer smashes totem when snuffing it, and it can be relit with Pentimento, but it's still infinite (as long as dull totems remain).
Alternatively, healing with CoH is infinite but takes twice as long as Self-Care and speed doesn't stack with healing items/perks, or else CoH can only be lit once per survivor running it.
Pentimento only works if the totem is destroyed.
If a totem has been blessed and then snuffed out Pentimento won't do anything.
-
Naming and shaming is against the forum rules.
Edit: You can report them on Xbox and get them a communication ban.

Instead of dcing just give up on hook.

Fun is subjective.
You might not find camping fun, but others do. Just like how some people don't find farming fun.
-
@Sonzaishinai said:
Would it be a bad thing if killers could open the gate after 20 minutes have passed.
Would stop some hacker hostage situations atleast
Not really since some script kiddies can just hold the game hostage after egc ends.
-
Dear god no,
When this perk was bugged (where hooks were permanently broken) playing killer was a nightmare when you had 4 survivors either running an anti slug or anti hook build with 4 petrified oaks.
-
@Hexbabylegion said:
Ppl told me the only way to raise mmr is hooking survs.
Hook surv = mmr raise
Escape surv = mmr drops
dc / hatch = mmr stays
So what happens if i let them bleed out?
I could be wrong, but these are the only thing that affects MMR.
Survivor:
Escape - Gain MMR
Die - Lose MMR
Killer: (hooks are irrelevant)
3-4k - Gain MMR
2k - (I'm not 100% sure) you don't gain or lose MMR
0-1k - Lose MMR

And they spawn out the way so you have to be lucky to abuse them plus if you jump out it disintegrates so the killer can just drop chase and either it's gone forever or you're stuck at slow speeds it's really not that deep.
You're also able to hit them before they can get into the snowman, which will take a health state and it'll destroy the snowman (If they are already injured, but I'm not sure if it works if they are in the healthy state).
-
@Mandy said:
1: Escape while inside a snowman
2: Get hit while inside a snowman
3: Hit a snowman with a survivor inside
^ one of those
The "blueish" aura is what I call the sparkles - you get this as a survivor if you've completed one of the above actions.
Escape while inside a snowman
Does it require a specific survivor or can you unlock it with any survivor?

Why are you shocked that someone trash talks back to someone who was trash-talking to them?
