DBD became balanced and looping and camping were not allowed/viable anymore? What if you all started playing the game the way it was meant to be played, and called out the devs then? My thought is Dev's are allowing camping because they are allowing Looping. So why give the DEVs a good reason to stop looping. We’d do just fine. You see, the game didn’t have Looping at the start when it launched. It was introduced in Patch 1.4.0 when the developers re-sized the Survivors hit boxes to be smaller, in order to make Survivors harder to hit out in the open due to P2P latency and at windows and vaults. As an UNINTENTIONAL side effect of this change, Survivors found out they could run tighter, therefore faster, circles around objects via abusing the smaller collision they have. The game was never balanced with Looping in mind, that’s why it’s an overpowered mechanic and the developers are constantly fighting to rebalance the whole game with it included.
This is because they have to find a way to incorporate it because of all the cry baby Survivors who suck at hiding and LoS jukes. They have no skill and need a way to win by abusing game mechanics and letting the mechanics of the game carry them. instead of playing smart and not getting found and caught. So is it the same thing for killers on camping? Did the Devs allow camping because some killers have no skill either? Survivors are op, but I'm not like them, I do just fine without DS and I'm great at sneaking around with O.o.O. So but explain this to the other killers then, other wise they will just keep whinning, Killer still caught someone did he not? He was still skilled enough to catch someone. Secondly, stop letting your bias cloud your judgement. Camping is boring and unskilled, but at least the game is balanced for it. Killer camps, all three other Survivors have free reign of the map to do whatever the Hell they want. Camping has a draw back. The Killer has no map pressure. Looping is boring and unskilled, and the game is not balanced for it. Survivor Loops, it has no draw backs whatsoever. The solo Survivor wins, the Survivor team wins, only the Killer loses.
It doesn’t matter if it’s boring or unskilled, it’s if the game is balanced for it. Balanced for camping, yes, balanced for Looping, not at all.
But that doesn't change how toxic it is or how cheap, survivors are not entitled a free save, but killers don't deserve a free kill either.

I actually can't play DBD because my internet is bad.
Also, someones desperate to proove this toxic unbalanced game isn't that at all with all your comments. -

If you only run around like a clown and dont try to actually play the game, you only have a slight glimpse how frustrating playing as killer is.
No, when I try to get kills, that is when I see how hard it is,( I'm not saying t-bagging doesn't get a tad annoying either) so I do know. But flash light flickering doesn't bother me because I tend loose people during chase
I dont know why devs dont do that. They could also fix the hitbox issue that would diminish looping by a lot.
The problem is the survivor main comunity, they want easy wins, but in their heart they know that unbalance causes stuff like camping and toxicity. And I understand that, why do you think I made this thread?
I don't care if I win or loose in this game, I want it to be fair.
Perhaps the dev's know this is unfair, but don't want to make it fair, because they think to many people will quit.
Buffing killers doesn't mean camping will stop (it might encourage them to do it more if it becomes viable, just a thought but not a fact), but it will help and I'm all for that. But camping must not be a thing anymore and same goes for survivors using looping and other toxic stuff. Why not
Give the killers a good reason not camp (Such as fixing the survivor looping, balanced buffs and nerfs for both sides, and fix looping with my other solution and window abuse ect. ) and make camping a thing you can report, make blood lust kick in fast when survivors use a window pallet or for just being near those things. At which point hopefully chases will be skill based with survivors needing to learn how to dodge attacks and out smarting (jukes/hiding) to truely get away from the killer. and not luck based.

Camping isnt an exploit, just fyi
Oh, and playing killer is rage inducing for killers (not sure if you ever tried it though tbh)If the game was balanced, then there would be a lot less camping. Yes id prefer that and actually I prefered the old days of DBD without looping and almsot no camping
I have played killer, I main survivor mostly, but I because I don't care about winning anymore (I never really wanted to go up in ranks either) It doesn't bother me all that much. Aaaaaaaaaaaand uh....another reason is I use doctor, and I useally get more joy out out of zapping people and putting them in madness tier 3. I'm not even kidding, I'll spend most of the match just chasing people and zapping them.
But when that maxs out, sure I'll zap them and then maybe try to hook some one now and then. But I do understand why killer can be rage inducing.
Why don't the devs make it fair for both sides?
Looping? Why not they make it so blood lust will kick in tons faster in places that are well known for being loop spots? -

You can't deny that camping is toxic, and its to easy.I play survivor at the moment because im fed up being bullied as killer.
For me, camping is when the killer hands out a free win to the survivors by going afk. Of course there are sometimes some idiots that throw themselves at the afk killer, but luckily those become rare once you rank upLike I said the Dev's are lying to us when they said "We want this game to be fun and less rage inducing as possible"
Camping is rage inducing for survivorsAnd the important stuff I mentioned is toxic for killers. And exploiting bugs and glitches is too.
I know that survivors bully killers a lot, (Or so I've heard and watched on youtube) but think about this for a minute.
"if camping wasn't at all possible in the game anymore, and the game was balanced for both sides, would you still play DBD?" -

If you camp a survivor because they were able to juke, you just a salty looser who needs skill.
So go ahead and camp, while I get better and advanceBut if the devs are okay with this, then they are lying about what they said. "we want this game to be less agrivating and to be fun"
-
Yes, I do deny that.
Camping isn't a "free kill", because the survivor didn't spawn on the hook, the killer brought him there.
And the killer pays for this kill by spending time near the hook.
Time is the most precious resource for killer and camping cost time.
This investment in spent time only pays off if the survivors feed the killeSo "camping" aka securing a kill aka baiting other survivor is a legal tactical decision.
Still dosen't make it less toxic, and like I said "you can get a for person kill without needing to camp"
So your saying "I have no choice but to camp, because I can't win any other way" -

@Wolf74 said:
Camping doesn't need a "fix", it is intended and legal gameplay.
Deal with it.
There is enough counterplay to it, especially since the hook timer got increased and tons of perks got introduced that give the killer a reason to leave the hook, but survivor still ask for nerfs to exactly this perks.Well then the devs don't need to nerf D-stike, it is intended and a legal perk.
Deal with it. -

You want "toxic stuff"?
How about healing someone while you are awake vs Freddy?
Or bodyblocking awake for a sleeping teammate?
Bodyblocking the hook?
Tbagging behind pallets?
Double windows abuse?
Last second loadout switch?
I could come up with more if you like...Freddy stuff?...Freddy is the worst killer in game so I have heard, and I haven seen any one play him in a while
I already made my suggestion on body blocking a hook, so what are complaining?
T bagging is a personal problem, not a gameplay problem.
Window abuse? that one slipped my mind. I had a nerf idea for that, I just forgot it.
Last second loadout switch, its not always meant to be toxic.

PWYF is short for Play With Your Food.
As for Dying Light, I suggest that because I'd like it to reward non-camping killers, but at the same time it should synergise with moris and Myers' addons (like the Tombstone Piece) since it's one of his teachables. Being the killers' priority is the main concept behind the obsession mechanic, so tunneling is inevitable. If anything, they could introduce new survivors' obsession perks to help them in that regard.Oh okay.
So what your saying is, that the killer gets a token for hooking their obsession (Max number is 3), I think the problem with that is that whats the point of leaving when you can just more tokens for camping and ensureing they die?The point is that not everyone enjoys camping, and for such players Dying Light is mostly a waste of a perk slot. With that little change a killer wouldn't be feel forced to camp the obsession to get some use of the perk.

everytime you hook a different survivor you get a token, but every time you hook your obsession you loose one?
Also I think my idea for PWYF is good because if you (pretend to) loose your obsession, then how can you get all 3 tokens? my idea would let you purposely miss the obsession then use it to catch other survivors(I'm going to edit my ideas)

Your idea for Sole Survivor is interesting, I like it. About DS I don't know, I think with the upcoming change it could still be useful if someone has a flashlight.
Dylight Light imo should be more progressive instead of a all-or-nothing. My idea is that everytime you hook your obsession you gain a token which reduces survivors' repair speed (up to 3 tokens). The obsession death or dc always gives some tokens (don't know how many though). This way the perk doesn't necessarily promotes camping, but rewards even non camping killers.
I like your idea for PWYF but imo you should loose a token when you down any survivor.Sorry I'm not familiar with certain stuff with just letters whats PWYF?
Also thanks, Your idea for dying light sounds good, but that would still kinda require the killer to tunnle and camp. Like if the death of the obsession still grants tokens, then why would they let them get saved? Its not a bad idea, but I'm aiming for a anti tunnle/camping playstyle. but who knows?

He's a millennial. He probably thinks his time is too good for some nice thinking. Don't worry about it.
TLDR is a millennial term that means "Too Long, Didn't Read". It's a made up thing.
The Halloween DLC is also why I bought this game, not the complete reason, but it was a driving force. Dying Light should get buffed to 20/25/30%, currently tier III is 25%.
Yeah you gotta tunnell the obsession to get it to work, but the obsession gets faster heals and unhooks too. I think that perk is fine. It could use a small buff like I said.
Save the Best for Last is finally viable, and balanced.
Play with Your Food... it is also fine the way it is. It's just difficult to use and goes against Dying Light.
Myers got a slight buff last patch as well. He now moves faster slightly in Tier I EW and walks to hooks slightly faster I think?
I think a couple of his add ons could use a tweak, but overall the Halloween Chapter is fine. Laurie's SOle Survivor needs reworked, DS needs to be reworked obviously and OoO is fine the way it is.
Dying light is fine? Okay I was making it use able so the killer doesn't need to tunnle or camp. just one hook them leave them, and when they get saved you get extra time to hunt survivors. Plus, its dumb that micheal's 2 perks rely on keeping your obession alive when Dying light needs you to kill them. and what if the percentage was buffed like you said, and my had buff idea?
The idea of sole survivor and dying light requiring players to be eliminated is stupid, and my suggestion would allow the killer to go after multiple targets instead of needing to tunnle and camp, and Sole survivor would have use out side of OoO. (It could be a perk that has us outside of its original purpose like Botany knowledge. Yeah I know you wouldn't want to use that without self care, but you could) -

Toxicity is a broad term that I find has been mis-used by upset individuals. Regardless of this fact Behaviour has some opinions of their own in the End User Liscense Agreement:Rules of Conduct
While participating in the Game, you also agree to comply with certain rules of conduct that govern your use of the Game (“Rules of Conduct”), for example you may not:• eHarass, threaten, embarrass, or do anything else to another user that is unwanted, such as repeatedly sending unwanted messages or making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. Hate speech is not tolerated.
• Disrupt the flow of chat in chat rooms with vulgar language, abusiveness, hitting the return key repeatedly or inputting large images so the screen goes by too fast to read, use of excessive shouting [all caps] in an attempt to disturb other users, “spamming” or flooding [posting repetitive text].This (and another reason) is what I would call toxic, I knew it the killers had to have a better reason besides just anger issues.

If tbagging isn't toxic for you, then I have sad news.
Add to it insulting at the game chat, spamming killers' profile with insults, trying to bully the killer, clicking the flashlight rapidly, using exploits.
Okay game chat spamming insulting messages, that is toxic, and if you won (or not) there isn't a need to be a jerk off weather you were a killer or survivor. (and if they are spamming on your profile, report them for it)
Flashlight clicking? and tea-bagging?....That is a personal problem, T-bagging doesn't do anything gameplay wise and if your getting mad over, then take a break. If flashlight clicking is a gameplay problem, like with messing up audio or something, then that should be fixed, if not then again a personal problem.
Using Exploits?.....I got nothing honestly, if your refering to stuff like "mother's dwelling ledge" okay I understand that is bad. so yeah those who use those exploits I would consider toxic, and bad game design on the devs part.

I would say that a toxic survivor is someone who:- T-bags
- Flashlight spams
- Disconnects (unless they are stuck or if the killer is using game hacks, I think that anyone that disconnects because they're angry ruins the game for every other survivor. ESPECIALLY if they were T-bagging the killer earlier)
- Sends toxic messages to other survivors or the killer, placing the blame on them for their death and saying things like "git gud" "ez trash" you know, things like that.
If you're playing effectively, then I don't see it as toxic. As a killer and survivor player, I'm completely fine with flashlight saves and pallet looping, but that may just be me. I always make sure to give everyone a hearty GG though. But if anyone calls you toxic for juking or pallet looping, they're just pissed off, don't pay too much mind to it
T-bags? simnple solution, just nod at the survivor after you down/hook them, or better yet just ignore it. Because that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
Flashlight spams? again "Stupid thing to get mad over"
Disconects...Okay I only disconnect when the killer is camping me. I don't mind if I loose, thats part of the game, but I'm not going to play against someone who's got no skill.
But if a survivor dc's for no good reason even though the killer is actually playing fair, then yeah your right.Messaging, if they aren't nice in the after match chat to killer or survivor, then you should report them.
But at least you feel the same about Flashlight saves, Pallets and looping. I plan on mainning killer soon.
So just off random chance you play survivor and see my name, I play fair. -

- T bagging: Accepted
- Looping: I would not count that as "toxic" because you just want to use the pallet effectively so why wasting it?!
- Juking attacks during a chase: Man, why should that be "toxic" you just try to avoid getting hit and especially if you are half life you try your last chance to avoid from getting downed.
But there is one more thing you could add to your list, clicking with your flashlight at the killer to get his attention or just doing it in a active chase.
This is stupid if killers are getting mad at this. And if they feel like camping because of it, then they saying you made me mad so I'm justifide. Well at least when I start maining killer, I can say I'm better then them campers.

I think it’s a money-maker perk so they’re not beefing it too soon, but it needs a nerf ASAPWell I didn't say the should buff it, I suggested that anyone who isn't the obsession, can't use it as a get outta jail free card, but instead stops the killer in his tracks. I didn't say it should be buffed or should have multi use.
I wouldn't mind if it was nerfed because I use all of laurie's perks.

I just thought of an interesting idea.
What if the survivor has DS perk and lands the skill check then the killer also gets a skill check to counter it.They can throw a short stun/animation on if they like
I think the problem with that is that would leave the killer open to flashlight save and just make playing killer harder. but I've herd numerous people suggest that.

Spine Chill as survivor. This perk gives you so much information and is sooooo useful in so many situations. As killer my fav perk now is probably Bitter Murmur. It's really great on Freddy and makes people scared to finish gens. It also punishes them for rushing by ganging up on a gen.
Oh nice choice.
So do you main freddy? -

I wish I could say something different than Ruin, but since the game is literally unplayable without it, I'll have to stick with it.Well I played against a pro killer who didn't have it. But alright, if you like it thats fine.

Identity V is so much fun.
Becareful buddy, Camping is a very touchy subject against killers.
Don't listen to their trash about killers being weak, because if killers are so weak, how come I see killers who are hunt down everyone just fine and kill without camping? But yeah your right this would be good. I also think D-strike (For the obsession only) should let the survivor stab the killer (make it like the coordinator's flare gun) stun them for a sec, and paired with borrowed time would be mean.
But killers have bitter murmur (is stronger then dark sense too by the way killers got the long end of the stick there) and BBQ chili, there is no excuse to camp if you can see where other survivors are. Though it aint camping if the killer is chasing a survivor who they knew where waiting. (just saying)Over all yeah.

Camping doesn't need a solution because it's not a problem. You are not entitled to a free rescue.
And your not entiteled a free kill either

...You know your right, it probably is.
