I just want to take a moment to thank BHVR and whomever was involved in providing this data to take the time and to even present it in a visually appealing and clear way.
Most companies wouldn't bother and you have. Thank you. No matter how I might feel about a specific killer, map, or experience, this shows a lot and I am thankful it was provided.

Um....hmmm, kind of sad. I hold T2 until it is like just a tap away. So when the last gen popped, i downed her. Music and all. After i hooked her she said that. I even said, i didnt even have NoEd, did you even look Then she got mad saying every killer has BBq and NoEd. I don't have BBQ and don't use NoEd on Michael. :( At rank 3 though. They should know better.
LOL didn't even occur to me. Reminds me of a friend who was yelling he got 1-shot by Freddy when he was grabbed out of a locker.

The only one I struggled with in Tome II was the Trapper 4x traps one, mainly because I can't Trapper well. And because of DCs. And because everyone is alert to traps due to the challenge. It somewhat set a small meta of people springing traps more often.
I thought I would struggle with 2 blinds in a match, but got it first try.
I'm still worried about the Tome IV challenges though. I don't mind them being hard, but I don't like them shaping the meta so much.

Is it bad I had this happen? At Rank 3?
I think the idea there is Michael is T3 and doesn't need the NoED?
Either way, people telling me what perks I shouldn't run because their OP is dumb. Even worse is when somebody dies and says something like "and you ran Distressing!??! Wow that perk sucks!"
...doesn't change the fact they lost to a bad perk, then.

Handicapping SWF players will never work. It sounds good on paper, but in practice all it will do is encourage people to queue solo and lobby dodge until they get their friends in order to avoid the handicap.
Also, it's just not good for the health and longevity of the game to punish people for playing with their friends. People wanting to SWF is how a huge chunk of the playerbase got into the game in the first place, so adding a handicap to SWF will seriously turn off a lot of new players.
Fair enough.
I enjoy being able to play as SWF. I don't entirely mind playing against SWF (with the right mentality). What irks me is when I play solo and I'm paired alongside a 3-man SWF and I'm treated like chum. I wish there was more protection and that I wasn't relegated to that pre-credits kill.
Or worse. You outplay that SWF and have to endure their written abuse.

I feel like the Feng with the BNP might also have been a joke. At least... I hope it was.
I really want to post the full chat for that one- they were also saying I was specifically targeting them because of their brand new part. They were spamming me during the match (on PS4 it can be annoying) because they were the first down. But they were realllllly mad. I think I caught her before she could use it (as Michael).

I'm pretty sure a couple of these were jokes, but some of the others are rather concerning. What rank were you playing at, where half the players don't seem to understand basic game mechanics?
For what its worth, as survivor I'm Rank ~6 and as killer, much worse (Rank ~12).
The only one who I think might have been kidding was the Huntress who told me hatch wasn't allowed.
The terror radius complaint against Michael (T1) was from a red ranks player (who admittedly started playing with Stranger Things, it seemed).
-
Here's a fix idea.
Make perks cost points in a buildout. You get more points when solo. You get fewer points when in a group of 3 or 4.

It would be nice for big maps like red forest. 9 gens, 7 need to be done, 2 killers and more loops. I'd love to play Twin Trappers with a buddy, but having duplicate killers might be OP as hell (just imagine 2 nurses, spirits, Freddys, etc)
I think with 3 gens being left at the end (like normal) and 2 killers, that could be problematic.
10 gens, complete 7?
-
Body blocking worked a lot better in the past. Now it generally just gets you injured unless the whole team is in on it or the killer is struggling a bit.
-
As a killer, I just went from a lazy 0K to a 4K due to NoED.
I think it's a fine enough perk. I think also, it's a bit of a crutch that rewards what is sometimes a bad killer (I wasn't playing well).
It it worked for (40/60/80) seconds after first hit, I think it'd be closer to balanced. Or something.
-
I think eventually we will have to see Killers with alternate win conditions (ie: not the hook). It'll just be tricky to implement.
-
What about when you're playing solo? I often have a hard time getting heals without a medkit.
-
Killers that eliminate chases- so...
Hillbilly. Coz it's easy with the right perks and map (and maybe a bit of luck) to just lock down a match.
Honorable Mention to Spirit coz chases cease to exist.
I also find Scratched Mirror Michael to be a bit obnoxious, but I would always want it to exist... even if it sucks to play against.
-
Does your gamertag or name start with an A?
This is a silly thing, but over the course of a ton of games, I seemed to start near the killer consistently (with an A screen name). Conversely, my friend with a W screen name never starts near the killer.
I'm probably wrong though.
-
In all honesty, the report on PS4 does nothing.
That said everyone loves to threaten with reports. I was "reported" for using a key on the hatch once. Yay. Unless they threaten violence or use slurs, they're not having consequences from Sony either.
-
Willy Wonka.
-
It's salt being processed to be unleashed for when others don't play by the Survivor Rule Book.
-
The best Leatherfaces I go against on console seem to increase the manuverability of the Chainsaw.
...But even then they have a rough time.
-
I've never played a game as either side and thought "DANG, Corrupt Intervention really owned..."
-
Well @alienschmalien if you need a friend on PS4, I'm around. There are a ton of stinkers but I try my best to have fun and succeed more often than not.

I dont agree. If u are playing high mobility killer with BB&CHILI and pop up it's easy with out ruin
So you just said someone is wrong if they play a certain killer and play certain perks.
yikes
-
The answer is insecurity.
-
I think Ruin should light up two totems- break either one and it's down.
But as is, I expect it every game. When it's not, it's either a confident and skilled killer or someone about to get steamrolled.
-
Ive been going for that kill all 4 as Michael trophy/achievement (for over a year). There have been about 14 times I’ve been legitimately close and then someone disconnects.

Oh I absolutely wanted to gloat. :)

She has like quadruple my play time :) I didn't know at the time I could run through killers when they hit you :)
That makes sense. I’m not trying to make fun of you, just calm down and learn from it. I’m pretty sure you survived anyhow?
-
That makes more sense- sorry, I'd forgotten.
I think the new update system (shrine tied to the archive challenges) may help. Just gotta be patient and hope the perks you want come up in the shrine. They likely won't ever speed things up.
-
At low ranks? Like red ranks?
At red and purple ranks, I think the players know to crack the gens closer to the basement and punish that killer. But yeah less skilled players will just fill up that basement...
-
You'll get all of the teachables in no time. I'm surprised the shrine is still relevant, especially as the Archive will make it rain BPs.
-
I always start with "hey there buddy."
Has like a 70% success rate.
-
I'm on PS4 and while I'll see a bug here or there, it's rare and a good excuse for why I messed up.
-
On console it has to be Nurse.
But Leatherface, Legion, and Wraith are probably the other worst ones.

That's smart, but like you said at high ranks sometimes killers can ######### with your roles. For example, if I know one survivor can loop like #########, I leave them unless they're really out in the open.
Absolutely true. It's good to be flexible and to be able to switch out who is going to be tanking the killer. Usually one of the gen jockeys still runs some good chase perks. Everyone should be able to handle a chase for a bit, though.
-
Ormond has the best ways to escape a killer or hide, with excellent loops.
Coldwind in general seems to trip up killers who are less experienced.
Azarov's Resting is awful end-game for killer.
Statically, I believe the Thompson house had the best data for survivors winning (but this was before they put a hook upstairs).
-
I've taken a different approach than you. I don't find items matter a lot- the Key is often inconsequential if your team can do what they can do. The med kits are also just fun- not necessary.
When I have a 4-man group, I try to compose it with people filling roles: gen jockeys (2), totem crusher (1), and the tank (1). Naturally everyone working on stuff, with one person running a lot of detection perks (usually totem person) in order to triangulate the killer. I'm not saying this always works, but many games you'll see the tank keep a killer busy for far too long. At high ranks, killers get wise to it and everyone switches up roles on the fly. It's also very necessary to have someone getting those totems, but also swinging in to help where needed.
Thanks for the cookie.
-
It would have also been an idea to just go down into the basement. He was probably working on a daily and wanted you in a trap.
...Wait. Was this on the PTB?
-
The way the guys in this video flip out and whine so easily made me laugh. The girl in the video had a cool collected mentality and understands the game. There were ways around this as others have explained: spring the trap and if he hits you, then run through him.
-
The best things:
1) the constant stream of new content
2) Matheiu Cote
3) the Upcoming Archives
The worst things:
1) people who disconnect
2) survivors lacking uniqueness on a gameplay level
3) people who are insecure and need to lash out at others when they fail

I think Hopper and Joyce are without a doubt the most important characters and I think that is undisputable. You've got to be mad to disagree.
I think the problem with Hopper (and tons of other potential future characters from other IPs), is that we already have a police officer. So many horror films have a police character...
Joyce would need to be tripping balls. Maybe a permanent effect from the Clown's afterpiece tonic?
-
I was Pig on Springwood. Chased someone around the school/boiler room itself for way too long only for them to disappear. I hear someone breaking a totem so I go back down in stealth mode. I'm nearing them and unleash my pounce right as the survivor I was chasing falls down the hole and into the area, taking the hit and being downed.
-
My most wanted survivor:
Most wanted killer(s):
-
For what it's worth, I don't recall the killer ever equipping a mori.
In two more games, 4 more survivor quits. Blah.
-
Make it so that it pauses the struggle timer if they killer is within 16m and it'll be amazing when you're against a camper.
-
I feel like if needed 1 less token at each level, it would work. Or 2-3-4.
-
Thanks for the comments/support.
I'm on PS4, so it comes down to blocking them. I'd blocked once on Playstation in the past 8 years. I've done is SIX times in the past 48 hours.
In all honesty, I try my best to be a friendly and thoughtful teammate. I don't want to be a bad player. I make mistakes, but I'm experienced. I'm just surprised that people can be so consistently hateful. Maybe I have played too many games today.
