I do any Jake rituals, and any Killer ritual for a Killer within my pool (usually GF, Wraith, Spirit, Pig, Billy, or Huntress.)
I skip anything else.

What does that mean? Of course I know what I meant.
What I said there was not serious which is why I put an emoji..
But I did mean it when I said you need to stop taking everything seriously. Stop blaming the Devs for not doing something and ignoring everything that they are doing right.
I'm not blaming them for anything.
I was doing the opposite.

THIS IS COMPLETELY WRONG!!!
Because I watched dev stream and one of them was explaining how he changed the Nurse and said he will also be working on an out fit for clown.
I can provide you with a proof, just ask.
Now, tell me if what you were saying actually came out of a mouth of a developer or some random dev-lover guy.
That one person is the exception, not the rule.
That is, assuming you didn't misinterpret what they said.
And my information comes from this neat thing called
COMMON SENSE and HOW ANY COMPANY IS RUN.
I can't believe I actually had to explain that.

oh you mean the time and resources they spent to hire artists is different? Pls, dont fool yourself.
Actually, yes it is.
Digital artists have much lower qualifications and are paid less than most coders. Hiring a coder costs more than an artist.

Someone doesn't understand the concept of hiring people takes time, resources and money.

It's not for clipping purposes. It's for money. They're charging $10 per skin because they want an influx of cash instead of working on improving the game by eliminating bugs.
No, that's not it.
I'm gonna just copy-paste what I always have to say.
You're aware that the "dev team" isn't one team, right? There are multiple separate teams working simultaneously on both balance, bug fixing, and revenue (AKA cosmetics).
Not only that, but cosmetics don't take as long to implement as bug fixes.
And don't say "wEll tHEn pUt mOre PeOPle oN bUgs" because most digital artists have little to no experience with code or troubleshooting bugs in general.
And this isn't a funding issue either; the art team likely generates its own revenue through the selling of cosmetics. The bug fix team is doing a fine job, and BHVR isn't just looking for a quick buck like you're saying they are.
-
Poor bait.
I loop Clowns for days.
-
I was playing Spirit and mid-phase had a pallet hit me.
I wasn't in a chase.
-
"Instead of doing everything you can to make the game better you release new skins and change dumb [BAD WORD] like auras. it doesnt make sense. "
Gonna quickly dissect that part.
You're aware that the "dev team" isn't one team, right? There are multiple separate teams working simultaneously on both balance and revenue (AKA cosmetics).
Not only that, but cosmetics don't take as long to implement as balance changes.

Yes. Put people who know nothing about coding and game making and only skin design on the team for coding and game making. That will TOTALLY mot make the game worse and fix it
They were being sarcastic.

Everyone needs to be put on bug fixing, NOW!
Ah, yes, put the cosmetic designers into a position where they very likely have never worked and have very little know-how.
Unless you were being sarcastic.
-
There's a separate team for new content and for bug fixing and for balance.
Multitasking exists, people.

Read what's written, kiddo.
Borrowed Time isn't super valuable even against campers anymore. I catch people off the hook all the time, and typically their rescuers too.
Them needing to 'get good' doesn't absolve the dev's consistent prioritization of quantity over quality, and especially the deprioritization of QoL.
You saying "kiddo" just makes people take you less seriously. Just sayin'

Just gonna leave this here, seems appropriate.

Huntress Hitboxes are a server problem, not a Huntress problem.
@Sluzzy said:

Wrong. Next to Spirit, she is the most unfair killer in dead by daylight, especially for solos. Billy has counterplay, but this killer has none. You are either 1) huntress main enjoying your 4Ks all day long or 2) has never versed a true huntress main
Tell me how looking behind you will beat the huntress when she holds the hatchet waiting for you to get in animation to vault a window or throw a pallet? You are doomed either way. Nevermind if she is so bad they miss 4 times in a row if you are injured, the 5th one she throws way over your head at a loop and it hits you. Yeah, only in this game that happens.
The reload for DS will you give you plenty of time, usually, to run away if he misses. Huntress can quickly pickup another hatchet.
Huntress was released when the state of the game had a million more pallets, the maps were significantly larger, infinites and god loops exists, sprint burst could replish mid-chase, decisive strike was pre-hook defense, and insta-heals existed along with insta-gens. Oh, and at that time she was released, we had peer-to-peer connections which made her hatchets more fair. So survivors have been nerfed into the ground since that time, dedicated servers has ruined her hitboxes, lullaby was changed to be omni-directional, and you are telling me she is still fair and most balanced killer in the game. Give me a break.

Ghostface is man with knife, and a buggy reveal/stalk mechanic. Does that sound fun?
Well, when you put it that way, no. Put anything in such simple terms and it won't sound fun.
Survivor you just hold M1 and run around some debris every once and a while. Does that sound fun?

Personally a great horror game that gave me, and many others, plenty of scares! If made right, could introduce a lot of players into our playerbase and could be very terrifying! ๐
The amount of untapped potential in that playerbase is ridiculous.
Also, this one is big but wouldn't really fit.
A Quiet Place
Killer: (I'm not creative with names) The Otherworldly
Survivor: Probably an older Regan Abbott.
Map: The Quiet Farm. To add to the atmosphere, there would be no ambient noise AT ALL.
Also, hi NMCKE!

I'm not lying , I have nothing to prove to to you , I mastered her when she first came out which I'll admit was easier but it hasn't changed all that much and she's not hard to play like nurse, I call you kid because you're being hostile like one while I'm just stating an opinion. If you want to play a hard to master killer go play nurse for a month straight with no add ons, I was bullied for a month straight before I got the hang of it.
If you aren't lying, show me. I'll shut up if you actually aren't lying.
And not all children come off as hostile. That is a false generalization.

Whatever kid you can get your panties in a bunch if you want but im not getting upset over a video game I interpreted it fine , just because you say it doesn't make it fact , shes definitely not hard to master but she takes skill to use her properly as I've said before but that's my opinion after 4 years and 9k hours in this game
You don't have 9k hours. Don't lie to me.
And don't call me "kid". You don't know how old I am. I'm just gonna let you learn for yourself how hard she is.

@The_Krapper said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1435671#Comment_1435671
Yea but like I said it's not near as much as nurse or other killers , it does take skill but shes by far got the easiest learning curve , you can call your opinion fact all you want buddy but that doesn't make it so and I'm sure majority of the playerbase would agree with what I've stated , she takes skill but her power isn't hard to master
Don't call people "buddy". It may not go over well at some point.
"I'm sure the majority of the playerbase would agree"
Yeah, no. As I said before, NO ONE HAS EVER CLAIMED SPIRIT IS EASY. I obviously have to say it in caps because you didn't interpret it earlier. Only just now have like, 10 people claim she's easy.
The majority of veterans agree that she's hard. And if you think she's easy to master, you haven't even come close to mastering her.
-
@The_Krapper said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1435577#Comment_1435577
Spirit does take skill to learn and do good as , but shes by far one of the easiest killers to use and I mean theres not really a learning curve like there is with nurse
Why JUST NOW have people been saying "sPirIT dOeSnT tAKe aNY sKiLL"? Oh yeah.
Because people before now weren't delusional and actually knew Spirit was a difficult killer with a very high ceiling.
And yes, there is a skill curve. There isn't really a question about that. That's not a debate, that's fact.

We're talking hours now? Spirit requires little skill and is extremely unfun.
-Me with 3k hours and over 5 people I know with 2,5-5k hours.
Like many others have said, as a survivor you simply have to guess her next move. There's nothing more to it. Don't even try to start linking tru3ta1ent's videos, as they don't show anything of value. For reasons why, see Scott's responses to said videos.
I despise Tru. Don't expect me to link his vid.
Knowing Spirit is easy. Mastering Spirit is one of the hardest things you can do in the game.

Thanks for the update, man! ^^ I really appreciate it! I'm so proud of Shanghai!
So monthly tournaments are now a thing. Here's the results of the last 2:
- The May-lee went exactly as expected. The Shock in NA and Shanghai in APAC. The Shanghai Dragons proved they have the mental fortitude of the century by reverse sweeping the Seoul Dynasty 4-3.
- The Summer Showdown had so many upsets. The Shock lost 2-3 to a full strength Paris Eternal running an all-too familiar genji dive. Yes, Sp9rk1e is of age and dominated. The Toronto Defiant were surprisingly good, I guess everyone forgot about Agilities being the best Western Genji in the league.
- The finals between the Eternal and Philly was a back-and-forth 7 map affair where Paris barely, and I mean BARELY prevailed, getting those sweet bonus wins.
- The APAC region was... Boring. Everything went basically as expected, except the finals where Guangzhou beat Shanghai 4-2. Nothing special.
- Oh yeah, and the Shock are holding open tryouts. That's important... I guess.

Xbox has a separation between"message requests" (people who you have never messaged or aren't on your friends list) and chats (normal). Sifting through my requests is always a fun time.
